I get the hype. The blueberry cake donut really has a blueberry flavor that doesn't taste artificial. And the yeast doughnuts are very fluffy, not greasy, and fresh tasting. excellent yeasted donuts! would recommend the coconut cream and honey dip donuts for sure - especially the latter if you like plain glazed donuts. i was afraid the coconut cream was going to be too heavy or too sweet but it was actually quite light and fluffy. the red velvet and sour cream donuts were pretty good as well, but we just aren't big fans of cake donuts. one of the servers offered us water when she saw us eating the cake donuts which was a nice gesture. cumulatively this came out to under 8 dolla

This was a disappointment. I love doughnuts, and I've eaten a lot of doughnuts from a lot of different cities. I didn't like these. I tried several: honey dip, chocolate icing, chocolate eclair, strawberry danish, cake doughnut. They ranged from passable to meh. The texture is good on the yeast doughnuts, but there's a weird aftertaste I didn't like. Also, no custard in the eclair, just a whipped icing. The place is obviously popular, so my opinion is in the minority.
