Excellent! Light and fluffy! The apple fritter is smaller than others, but still really good. The buttercream eclair was good, the butte was sweet. Will get more from here again!

Great donuts and great owner! Excited to finally see a donut place in Golden. Owner took time to greet everyone that came in and was very friendly. There was great selection of donuts without feeling overwhelmed. The shop is clean but most importantly donuts are good. I ordered several dozen for work and everyone enjoyed them.

Classic donuts with no frills. I enjoyed all 3 varieties tried, including an old fashioned, a custard filled, and apple fritter.

For a birthday breakfast treat for my wife, nothing beats flowers and great snacks from Peak. More eclairs and of course a bag of their amazing pigs in a blanket or, whatever you want to call them. Delicious perfectly baked roll with a hearty beefy dog and hot peppery cheese on on the inside. I ate way too many but no regrets, sooo delicious.

Amazing place with such attention to detail too! Ask for Peter as he is sure to take great care of you! The donuts are awesome and they care about the customers and the community! Can?t say anough about this gem in Golden!

popped in for a pre-summer camp donut and were pleasantly surprised with how delicious the donuts were and how kind the staff was! I can't wait to come back.

The owner is always so friendly to my kids and I feel like we always end up with a few extra donut holes:) great variety but get there early on weekends for the most choices. My kids love all of them, and we have purchased in bulk with ordering ahead of time for my work events a few times.

Great addition to the area, a real friendly owner and they make great donuts and my favorite, their jalapeno/cheese 'pig in a blanket', sooo good. The dough shell is just right and it's really a quality sausage inside. They have traditional creme filled and whipped butter (white) eclairs and all the other sinful donut treats as well. They're open early and with the school nearby should do great business, easy parking too.

Not much to choose from but definitely tasty donuts ..owners are funny and sweet .First time in and my coworkers demolished them! It was rounded up to $30 for a dozen assorted Donuts and a dozen donut holes together.

We live out of town but wanted something quick after leaving our hotel with the kids. While deciding what to buy, the cute owners came out with doughnut holes for my littles. Now we stop by everytime we pass through town, which is in about 2 hours.

Stopped in today with my coworker. Donuts are so fluffy and the apple fritters, old fashioned and blueberry are the most popular. Peter, the owner is so funny and nice. They also have breakfast sandwiches but cine in early before they sell out!

Went over to Peaks Donuts after wanting to try it for forever and we loved it!! We went in around 10am on a Sunday and while options were slim because they had sold quite a bit of donuts already, they still had great options and the donuts were AMAZING!! The guy that helped us out even threw in an extra donut. 10/10 would recommend this spot!!

Best doughnut shop Goldens ever had! The owner is the nicest guy you?ll meet here! The doughnuts are: super fluffy, have a great melt in your mouth flavor and they?re very affordable! Just had the strangest encounter with the employee. We stopped by to buy a few doughnuts my husband joked with him saying he?d buy every doughnut in the store. Employee said if you don?t buy anything I don?t care. We looked at each other and decided it was best to not do business there and leave. No other customers there. He kept repeating ?I don?t care if you buy anything.? We weren?t arguing. Not sure what frame of mind he was in so didn?t care to gamble on eating anything from him. Strange stange just st

Wonderful place!! I was greeted with a smile and jokes by the owner, which is awesome!! Classic donuts made fresh and with care, plus they're absolutely delicious! Now the pigs in a blanket or klotchies, however you decide to call them are without a doubt one of the best I've ever had!! Thank you for opening your shop in our town and please support this business so they never leave Golden!! Peak Donuts is a winner in my book!!

Most terribly treatment because of my disabilities. I have always had great service at this place before but was treated inhumanely because of the word cherry instead of raspberry. This is not how you treat your neighbors with disabilities. I will not be returning or suggesting this place again.

Extremely simplistic donut shot with nothing but the essentials. The name is as advertised as the donuts are very good and that's pretty much all they do. Great option for local donuts.

The donuts here are fantastic. We've been really happy with everything we've tried here. The sausage kolaches are delicious, and the donuts are not overly sweet or heavy. Probably the best apple fritters I've had! I'll chime in with other reviewers who have recommended the blueberry cake donut -- it was amazing!

This store has the friendliest owner, and it is very close to downtown golden. Even the smell of the donuts is delicious and you can tell they are fresh made that day. The taste does not disappoint! He also has a large variety of filled doughnut choices which seem to be hard to find in Colorado.

Easily the best donuts in Golden! We had a bakers dozen between the two of us (not in one sitting), and every donut tasted homemade, fresh, and delicious. The owners were friendly and very helpful in helping us make our selections. We?ll be back frequently :)

Great donuts and super friendly owner. I?m a big fan of simple donuts done right and this place nails it. The cinnamon swirl glazed donut is amazing and has been so light and fluffy every time I?ve had it. I?m also a fan of the chocolate frosted.

Owner was friendly when we came in, but that us about the best I can say about the shop. There was a very limited selection to choose from (maybe 5-6 choices). The cinnamon roll was decent. However, the rest of the doughnuts tasted old and we ended up tossing them in the trash.

The donuts are so good! We got cream filled long johns with chocolate on top. Best donut I have had in years. The owner is very friendly. They open at 6am. Highly recommend.

Been waiting for a classic delicious donut shop in Golden. So happy they opened this shop! The classic donuts are delicious, and the owners are so friendly! I highly recommend giving them a try, you won?t be disappointed. I can?t wait to go back again tomorrow haha.

Picked up 2 dozen fresh this morning for the office and everyone thought they were delicious. Decent cup of coffee and fast and friendly service. I always try and give the independent retailers my business. I would recommend checking this shop out.

Three days ago Leslie Olsen commented she hates angel creme, yet she gave this fine establishment a 1 star review after admitting she hadn?t been in to try the donuts yet. Don?t be like Leslie Olsen, no one cares you are from a baking family. Angel Creme donuts are the best. Update: Leslie I spoke with the owner, he has never heard of angel creme.

Very tasty donuts! Good quality. Not too sweet. Fruit fillings were fruity. Apple fritters were perfectly crisp and had really good cinnamon undertones. 10/10.

Peter and his mom are some of the nicest people in the donut business, they are hard workers and are constantly bombarded by the wrath of hungry highschoolers. It is no question however to why that is the case. Him and his mom make a variety of donuts all tasty as well as a selection of croissant breakfast sandwiches and hotdogs baked inside an inclusive bun. Terrible, bought my daughter a donut and left. It was old and dry so I called to let him know. He hung up on me. Upon arriving at the store he told me he didn?t want my business. I told him I had called just to let him know to throw out his old donuts, not for a refund. He yelled and slammed his hand on the counter.

Sounds like they use angel creme instead of custard in their donuts make me suspicious. I come from a bakery family and donut shop owners and we always used custard I have not been able try them yet since I have not physically been able to get out.
