Sausage rolls were very good, bread was soft and light? sausage was good quality The apple fritter was great.. There was almost a funnel cake crisp to the outer edge., huge portion too

Stop in if you're in funky town for the vanilla folks that's Fort Worth. Good place to get a donut ?? or gyro ??. I get the lunch special and feel special. It's dated the only reason why I can't give that elusive give star ? but a good spot to stop in for a bite.

Eeeh it was ok. I went initially to get a sub for my wife but the gal told me they were all out of deli meat for any sub. Ok, cool but y'all have it on your sign as a sub shop lol. The inside is a bit, well not the most well put together but it serves its purpose. There are tables and chairs, plenty of seating.

Iconic neighborhood hole in the wall. I come here for breakfast all the time. Food is great, especially the super taco! Great donuts. The line is oddly slow sometimes during the week so I can't come unless I have a good 15 minutes to wait in line and then wait for the food to be ready. That's the only reason I don't give it 5 stars.

I love Paul's. We came for lunch. Both had hamburger with fries. Delicious. I have had several different things. The breakfast is amazing. If you want donuts get there early because they sell out.

Got there Saturday morning 640am, thinking the selection of donuts would be like what I saw on their website. 1. Dimly lit in the whole place, the selection of donuts was basic. 2. I asked what kind of filled "donuts" they had and was told they were not ready. I selected 6 donuts for almost $8.00. got home they were so dry I didn't even finish the one I broke in half. I found this place on doordash. I've ordered multiple times since then. The last time i ordered, I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast and didn't get the gravy with it. This place is owned by some cambodians and the food is awesome and they have donuts and different breakfast delicious yummies. If you want to try some very good food and you're hungry and you want something cheap come here this place is a very very good place to eat. Went today on a Saturday afternoon at 11am. They were out of a lot of items unfortunately. Thought they would be better prepared on a busy day. The woman working behind the counter was very unfriendly.

When I ordered my food, the customer service was great. The employees were super nice. But this place needs to be cleaned. Online showed a special for 6inch subs at 3.50$ my husband went to order and was told they don't sell subs anymore. It's literally in the name and on the site! We were offered nothing else no alternative or maybe a discount on other items for the inconvenience. Will not be returning.

I?m a regular I go there almost everyday and the two girls up front always make my day. They are quick and attentive! I recommend the Gyros Plate and the blueberry fitters.

Used to be 5 stars for me. The blueberry fritter and super tacos are awesome! I have never even gotten Greek entrees from here that's how good the breakfast is. However, it seems like without Paul around it has lost some of the charm. Still fantastic though.

Good gyros! Great cookies and very nice staff. Neat old building. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Cleaning with horribly strong smelling chemical in a mop bucket while diners were still around. We were there around 12:30 so it's not like they were about to close. Ruined the last part of the lunch. We had to leave.

This place used to be the best place to get gluten friendly pizza now it?s frozen smaller crust and you are paying for the cheese but dont expect any sauce or cheese on it it?s some splatter on it . I recently visited Paul's and had a terrible experience with the incredibly rude cashier. The new owner seems to have let the place go, with the inside eating area being dirty and the overall landscape looking terrible. I had two delicious gyros. The lamb was well seasoned and well cooked and the pita bread was soft with good flavor. The kicker that made it the best gyro I've had was the grilled onions My wife had a sausage roll and donut that both had great flavor. Both were very fresh as well. We had some baklava that was a little hard but still had good flavor We will definitely come back

I have loved this place for years but I cannot support this business anymore while they keep the employee with the red hair. I believe her name is Marlene. She is very rude for no reason and makes me feel uncomfortable. I keep trying to go hoping it turns around but her customer service makes it very obvious that my business is not wanted there. Food has usually been good but today I have no idea what happened. It was after 11 am. The meat for gyro platter was overcooked and dry. Excellent service and delicious food. Someone complains about the prices, but I invite them to check out the competition. Places with lower prices just simply cannot top Paul's quality OR serving portions. I paid less than $10 for my lamb gyro and there was lots of lamb and salad on my plate. So we?ve passed by this place several times and finally decided to stop. Now it?s a weekly visit. Best gyros ever with a generous amount of meat and great soft bread. Taste is delicious. Found this out of the way place who happens to be the only place around open during this winter extravaganza in Fort Worth...we got hamburgers and gyros...they do traditional gyros and chicken gyros and they were AWESOME! Having been over in the Mediterranean numerous times, I've had a few gyros in my time and these are exquisite! The sauce for them was wonderful! Get a chance check them out! And their donuts are wonderful too!!

Great little neighborhood spot that opens early and serves donuts all day. You can also order anything on the menu all day. Feel like a gyro at 7:00am? They'll fix you right up.

I will not be back. I have been buying the Apple fritters for a very long time?.never again. They were dry, burnt to a crisp and I never did get even a small bite of apple. Nearly everytime I either call or go there, over the last 2 months...they are sold out of the raspberry-filled eclair. It wasn't like that under the original owners, so I asked them about it and the guy said they will make more, but they never have. I understand food cost and preventing waste, but the previous owners nearly always had them available.

Was in town for a drs appointment and my son was hungry for donuts before we went to have lunch. Y'all.... These donuts are AMAZING! these are the softest donuts I have ever had in my life. It was like a pillow of heaven. We ended up going back a few minutes later with my mom and nephew and the lady sold her 2 dozen donuts for $9! She said around this time they start discounting the donuts because they close at 3. The sausage kolache was also amazing! Will definitely stop here when we're back in town.

Paul's is an interesting combination eatery. In the morning you've just GOT to try one of their apple fritters. Then come back for lunch for a gyro. I especially like their two-fer deal: two gyros for under $10. And these are not small affairs; these are generous, piled high gyros! Staff is friendly, food is good and prices are a good value.

Placed an order for gyro plates for co-worker?s birthday, some ckn & some lamb. Got all lamb and not everyone can eat that. Called to ask to correct and they refused - even if we took the plates back to them so they could see we did not eat them. The manager said sorry but that?s what you ordered. If you can?t or don?t eat lamb- why would you order lamb. Extremely poor customer service. Just one more thing not as good as it was before it was sold to this group.

Walking into this restaurant feels like walking into a friend's house. The staff are kind and thoughtful and the food is delicious. I came by one time right after my son was born. My wife had just been allowed back on solid food and this is what she was craving. Been going to Paul's for a long time. It was the first place I ever had a Gyro. I still order one when I come by for lunch. Their breakfast tacos are awesome. The super breakfast taco is huge! I order mine with bacon and they are not greedy with the amount of meat they serve with any dish. Donuts, pigs in a blanket, apple fritters are always good too! The breakfast is delicious, very reasonably priced, and the is nice and clean. It is visible and easily accessible and staff is friendly. It's not your upscale retro place but it is easy on the eyes. But the ladies bathroom, however could be a little more ADA friendly. I liked it and will tell others about it.

A gem in Fort Worth. Great breakfast tacos and breakfast plate that won't break the bank. Friendly, family owned. They know your name when you're a repeat customer, and that's basically 90 % of who walks in the door. So, you'll hear the owners constantly greeting people by name. Gyros great, big burgers, etc.

Donuts are excellent. Cookies are delicious. Gyros are amazing. Grilled chicken salad is great. Good service. Lunch rush can take a little bit of time, but overall more than worth the wait.

Independently owned donut and gyro shop. Most locals living near this place love Paul's. For breakfast, there's usually less than 2 people in line so it's a quick place to grab some juice, coffee, and a pastry in the morning. The staff is friendly and they know all their regulars. One of my favorite is the fried apple fritter. It's a huge bargain and will leave you stuffed.

Update; there's new owners, quality and quantity has changed. Before I would walk out with 2-3 bags of food with donuts and kolaches and I would be at about $50-. Now, I bought 3 double ?? cheeseburgers, 2 gyro's, 2 ?? fries, and 2 boudin kolaches type, 2 apple fritters and I walked out paying $56-. I know inflation has hit hard, but no. I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and discovered Paul's , it's amazing the food is great there always friendly. The owner really makes an effort remember who you are. They're super breakfast tacos are awesome. Anyone that gives this place a bad review curmudgeon. Where else can you buy a hamburger and donuts the same time impossible. Love it!

Since the sale of Paul's a couple of years ago the gyros are no longer the best in town. The onions are no longer grilled and the pita bread is cold. As a 20 year customer I find this disappointing.

This place has completely fell off with quality and taste within a year since I had first discovered it. The guy is rude, who I'm assuming is the manager or owner, the woman who takes the orders is nice however the cooks seem to change often, so does it taste. Get your donuts and keep going.

Fabulous apple fritters, the best anywhere, and donuts. Sometimes somewhat slow getting orders out, but they make everything fresh. A local place of the South Side that's easy to drive by if you don't know it is there. (They need to upgrade their sign, but most of their customers know where they are.)

Paul's has the best breakfast tacos! The sausage is the perfect amount of spicy and the tortilla is soft and you can tell authentic, not store bought! I order the sausage breakfast taco and my husband orders the super sausage breakfast taco (includes potatoes). This is our favorite spot to hit for breakfast.

Good cinnamon roll & wide selection of beverages (coffee, donuts, cinnamon rolls, etc). 1/5/2021 return visit... Worst cup of coffee I have ever had. After watching help pour old coffee into a third of fresh brewed coffee and filling my cup it was terrible with a stale extra strong taste I had to throw it out, she must not be a coffee drinker. Now I definitely won't be ordering coffee from Paul's again.
