So glad I finally tried Paul's Bakery about 15 years ago! Who doesn't love a fresh baked donut??!! These treats never disappoint. I appreciate that the donuts are never stale and always full of flavor. Two of my faves are the old fashioned and the coconut. My partner loves the chocolate frosted! I love Paul's French Silk Pie. Devine. We savor each slice. It's always a good day when we start at Paul's.

Place was clean and the counter staff attentive. 1st time here. Lots of choices and they can change while you're there based on what's coming out of the bakery. Paul's bakery is celebrating their 50th anniversary on National Donut Day. Thought it was a perfect time to try them out. They have a huge following! The staff is friendly and efficient. Stopped by this morning ~7 a.m. (8/20/2022). The bins under the counter were jam-packed with any and every possible donut you could imagine. The staff I worked with were super friendly, polite, attentive, and patient while I made my selections. The donuts are just simply the best in the area! Paul's is a must if you are looking for fresh donuts in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area!

If you're one of those people that don't have to worry about calories, then I'd say go often and go early. Best selection is before 10 am. If you are counting calories, then this is the spot for your cheat day. I haven't tried everything yet but I plan to. Gotta have goals.

Truly delicious doughnuts in many formats and flavors, and the staff is efficient, cheerful, and helpful. The cakes and pies are tasty, too. This is definitely a stay-on-your-feet place, though, sometimes with a line that takes 10 minutes to wait through. Wear comfy shoes and bring a happy, patient attitude.

One of the best donuts and brownies I have had! We ordered online and chose to have them delivered. I wished the website allowed us to tip online, so that it would be safer for both the customers and delivery person. Today our delivery person waited for us to pick up our donuts from her, but we waited inside and told her that we'd prefer contactless delivery. They have a to die for chocolate buttercream donut which I have to have every time I go there. The sour cream are perfectly glazed for a proper donut cake to glaze ratio. Maple bacon donuts are also delicious as pretty much anything is I have from here.

Fantastic pie. We travel all over the country trying bakeries everywhere. We have had many pies people claim are the best. Very few are. We bought an apple pie at Paul's today after driving 50 miles on a recommendation. It was fabulous. Excellent crust just the right texture and thickness. Firm and tart apple slices baked perfectly. Finally got to try Paul's after hearing nothing but good things about them for months. We ordered a chocolate and vanilla cake for Christmas. The staff was very friendly and the cake was beautifully decorated and was so tasty! We are moving down the street in March and we are excited to make Paul's our go to bakery!

The staff at Paul's bakery was super - called me to let me know it was ready for pickup and had it waiting for me when I arrived. This place is amazing! They truly are the best donuts in the world. Their cake and cupcakes are awesome too. My wife and I even used one of their 8" round cakes for our bride and grooms cake at our wedding last month. An amazing wedding cake without the wedding cake price. We also had a dessert bar for our guests stacked with over 150 cupcakes from Paul's. Everyone loved them. I stop in whenever I can. The coconut donut is my personal favorite.

You know... really respect and enjoy their products but can we get an order right!?!?! 2nd time I've ordered a cheese turnover only to get home and take a bite and it's apple! Let me add, when you have to take a 2nd trip because the online ordered was missing part of what was ordered, it misses the point of online ordering. You require at least a 24 hrs advance for online ordering, one expects to have that order done correctly.

I love this place for what they are known for: their amazing CAKE DONUTS! BUT I just found out this morning that the new management does not want to continue making them. PLEASE don't stop producing them, they are literally the best donuts you make (besides the apple filled, one of my personal favorites) and they are the ones I get the most request for when I buy dozens for work or for gym events. We were looking for a pie for our daughter-in-law so we stopped by Paul's. We picked up the peach and lemon meringue sitting in the display refrigerator. We and our family were amazed at the quality of the 2 pre-made pies. They tasted like they were ordered and custom made! This was well worth the trip!

Love Pauls !! They have both cake and regular donuts from glazed to filled. My son is hooked on the maple bacon donut, I love the chocolate. They use the same icing on the donuts as their cakes. Wish they did a chocolate glaze as well. It can get crazy busy some mornings but the staff is pretty quick.
