Truly went above and beyond my expectations. I went to Paielli's to order simple sugar cookies with icing and sprinkles for a special work event. I didn't even realize speaking to the cookie decorator was an option, but I'm so glad for the staff's dedication and friendliness. Whoever decorated these did a STELLAR job and everyone was pleased. Plus, the cookies were delicious and affordable. Thank you!

This was my first time stopping here to grab a variety of items. Cookies, donuts and bread are all good. There are plenty more to choose from. Worth the stop to check out this iconic bakery. The people working the counter were very nice and helpful. You won't be disappointed with whatever you choose!

Plenty of yummy baked goods, breads, pastries, muffins, cakes, cringle, all kinds of things! One of the only places in Kenosha, if not the only place, with proper butter croissants for a decent price.

5+? I've been to a lot of bakeries, German, swedish, Spanish, French, but Paielli's Italian bakery is the stuff! ??"Capito?" I've eaten their breads before because they're sold in some of the stores around here. But never their num nums. Their donuts leave everyone else in the dust. O' Brothers? CJ's? Tim Hortons? Dunkin' donuts? Krispy Kreme? And myriads of the smaller bakeshops. Paielli's is the best. ???????????????? Family owned and operated, been there since before I was born, and I was born in 1959

Updated Review - 10/13/23: Today is Friday the 13th and bad things are supposed to happen?. but not today?. it was someone?s birthday at work and they brought in donuts from Paielli?s?. Mmmm!!! Delicious! I wish someone at work would bring them in every day! I love their donuts! Everyone does. One of my favorite donuts is their cake donuts. There is nothing better than a nice cup of coffee and a cake donut! I highly recommend everything from Paielli?s Bakery! ????????????????????????? Update - 8/4/22

I was craving a napoleon cake since I moved to WI and finally I found Paielli?s Bakery in Kenosha , WI . I called the bakery and a nice lady answered me and assured me that they have it available. I sent my husband to get it and was happy with our purchase , it was fresh and tastes yummy as expected. We will be a regular customer to this wonderful place and we highly recommend it .

The workers there were very friendly. They were willing to answer questions. I asked about bread bowls, and without my asking, one woman went to the freezer in the back. She came out with a bag of 2 bread bowls. The place was spotless and well organized. My only complaint was not everything had a price on it.

Ran into this Italian baked fresh front store for their bakeries here in Kenosha, WI. This is just as you find it at your local grocery store but made on premises. Italian bake sweets and goodies are also sold here. Great stop for bread.

We are longstanding fans of Paielli's. We had a particularly persnickety order for an extra special first birthday party. Paielli's had always made wonderful and delicious cakes for us in the past, but would they be up to the challenge? The answer is a resounding yes! The great cake decorators at Paielli's came through! Absolutely exemplary job! Amazing, would highly recommend.

The cake decorators always do a great job! Had a wonderful birthday cupcake cake made. While I stopped in to pick it up they had cookies that matched our blue theme too. The homemade buttercream frosting is the best!

We are very disappointed that the pumpkin donuts this year have been changed. They are very dry and not enough frosting. We actually went and bought a different day thinking it was a bad batch.

I had requested some customized cookies for my wedding and had a family member pick them up. The pick up date was set for two days before my wedding. When I saw the cookies, they were the completely wrong color than what I had requested (I sent pictures, spoke to and confirmed colors and design before officially placing the order and they were still wrong). Moved back to Kenosha last year after about 30 years and stopped by Paielli's to get some of my favorite Italian treats. The wonderful aroma of the entryway brought me back to when I would visit with my parents and grandparents in the 1970s. The selection is even better than I remember and the staff is the friendliest ever. Definitely a weekly stop. Side note: I drove a delivery truck for Paielli's in 1983. On my first day I didn't latch a donut tray properly and I ended up cleaning cyclops out of the wind

Review is based on the Kringles. Once you try O&H or Bendtsons in Racine, you'll understand the rating. Maybe I'll try something different in the future.

Such great baked goods and extremely friendly staff. I had to get a cake for my friend's wedding shower and paielli's was the only place I could find that would do a filling in a sheet cake AND they print custom images!! The customer service is amazing and they make sure no matter what you are taken care of! Will definitely order from here again!

This is definitely the best bakery in kenosha County. When you walk in you are greeted by almost all the staff who are working up front. Very nice selection of breads and dough. They make some if the best pastries, and have them on full display. You have to give credit to a place when the macaroons are picture perfect.

I have not patronized this bakery. However, I was stuck on the road after my car died on me 7/25 and a guy in one of the delivery trucks helped me get to a secure location. I really appreciate his kindness. If he is a representative of what the bakery offers, it's a great place!

I went to Paielli's Bakery today for the first time. I am from Illinois and moved to Wisconsin 8 years ago. I have tried different bakeries trying to find one as good as the bakery at home. Today I found the one I will be returning to frequently! I bought a cream horn which was flakey and delicious. The lemon poppyseed loaf was so good it was hard not to eat it all at once. The assorted cookies were very good too! I also bought an eclaire which I am sure will also be delicious when I eat it tomorrow. The

Best croissants in town! This place has EXCELLENT baked goods, AWESOME POLITE service, and is in a great location! What more can you ask for? AND they are open at 6am. If you live in Kenosha or even just visiting, hit this place up for a delicious breakfast treat or even take something home for a midnight snack!

Picked up another cake after going here for about 20 years, it's gone downhill over the past few years. the donuts r fine, but the cakes are more frequently disappointing. we all agreed the inside layer of frosting was different then the outside. outside was normal, good, buttercream, inside tasted like crisco, different, thick, dense, not creamy, overall gross. in past years, they've never been level, middle frostings been getting thicker and thicker, and one year the cake had a big crack down the middle,

We are so happy we choose Paielli's to design our wedding cake. They have the best prices in town and the cake was both delicious and beautiful. Ellen, the cake decorator, pulled off our vision from a Pinterest idea we shared with her and it looked even better than the original! Paielli's will also bake you a mini wedding cake on your first anniversary so we didn't need to freeze our top layer. So happy we choose them!

I called to check if they made torte cakes(very few bakeries do). The woman that answered was very curt, asking immediately when I wanted the cake. I mentioned I wasn't ready to order, just getting the info. After I said thank you I will call back to order - CLICK!! the lady just plain slammed the phone down! Every time I have stopped by to order goods, the people at the counter seem to want to rush every thing because they just want you gone, and they are always a bit condescending. They don?t seem to want to hire people who actually care about doing their job how it should be done either.

We came up to visit our family in the Chicago area. The kids wanted us to go to Paielli's Bakery for treats. Excellent and friendly customer service. The goods are SO delicious!

Although the baked goods are wonderful, they have a relatively small selection and prices are a little high on some thinhs. They do mark down older items which my favorite bakery, O &H in Racine does not and the employees are very kind and hard workimg. I also happen to know they donate a lot of the goods they do not sell to local food banks and soup kitchens. So I do reccomend spending your money here if you can find what you want. If it's bread, cakes, cookies and average donuts they have you covered.

Oh, my goodness, this is Italian neighborhood perfection. Paielli's Bakery is not fancy. But where it lacks in fancy, it makes up with old school charm and history. Gloriously soft Italian rolls and bread. Genetti cookies that will change you. I always discover nothing but cheerful and courteous employees on duty. A must-stop when in the area.

Large bakery, clean, well displayed. Good donuts. Though $13 for two donuts and some cookies seemed awfully high.

Their Tiramisu is some of the best I've had, but their very popular bread products are not. It's sold everywhere around Kenosha, but every time I try it, it's just a bland mess. Don't let the "oh, but it's local" fool you - get something else. It's not cheap, and it's not very good.

Very unorganized. The people don't know what there doing. The cake I picked up that my daughter ordered for my granddaughters birthday was 53 dollars and a amateur would have done better for half the price. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

I ordered a Red Velvet cake for my sisters surprise bday party and what was suppose to be the tasteful part of the party was the worst especially when everyone there knew it was a Red Velvet cake and were looking forward to having a piece. I might as well bought a cake from Walmart that you can make at home.

i called them on friday to bake a cake for my stepdaughter when is was all said & done it was her best bday ever, best cake ever! they made the cake to look like a pig, so i would most certainly recomend to others.

This place is listed under Italian bakery I called them to see if they make home made Scalidi and the guy who answers said he never heard of it lol they are either pumped up on there cyclops witch I do have to say are good or just 2nd gen Italians one of the two the main thing is they don't make the most hardcore Italian cookies of all Time ....

There are so many options and the staff is very helpful. The prices are quite reasonable as well. I'm currently eating a Carmel Apple turnover from here and it is to die for- not too sweet and very flakey.
