Nice set of small shops, donuts, candy, a restaurant. There is outside seating and a great view of the sound. Very little parking, especially when Duck Donuts is open. There is no restroom close by, you have to walk to a nearby park.
Went here for duck donuts and was not disappointed. The layout is great as duck donuts is a hopping place (for good reason as it is Delicious!) you can wait for your freshly made donuts while looking over the sound. East to walk to for the town of duck also off the boardwalk. There is also a coffee shop. In the back is the duck boardwalk which has some great views!
some nice shops to browse and walking along the boardwalk is always enjoyable
It has a great set up. Lots of local shops, a boardwalk that leads to the various other shops along the boardwalk and my all-time favorite spot is Hawaiian Island Snowballs and Ice Cream parlor. The owner and his quick wit and often abrasive humor is a breath of fresh air since the rest of the locals are posh and way too nice. Get a scoop of icecream and a helping of brash humor! ??
Shops were closed when we went, but still a beautiful area to walk around.

You can take a nice boat ride to see the dolphins ...if they are not sleeping but you will see where the pelicans live.

been going to these shops since I was a kid. We just tried duck donuts for the the first time last summer. Oh my goodness! The wait time in summer is CRAZY long so we no longer go in the summer. My family owns a rental in Corolla so we go down in the off season. Duck donuts is in and out in the off season so if you dont like waits and are around in the off season GO!! wait time was 5 minutes. and their donuts are crazy good and tons of flavors!! my husband liked the maple bacon. my kids and I liked the oreo
Cool bunch of shops in the heart of the town of Duck diagonally across the road from Loblolly Pines and right next to the downtown Duck town office and amphitheater. Anchored in the morning by the famous Duck Donuts and in the evening by the incredible Eventide restaurant. Also has an ice cream shop, a candy store, a jewelry store and a t-shirt shop. All are located right on the sound boardwalk so as you walk along you're right next to the water. Super cool sunsets!
Fun and eclectic experience. I do wish there were less flies and occasional shade along the board walk.
Nice location, great walking. We enjoyed local favorites such as Duck Donuts. There is also treat places luck snow balls and fudge. Souvenirs are close by. There is a short boardwalk trail the offers great views, benches, even a few marker photo ops such as a giant red chair. Pet friendly and nice for families.
Great little place to shop and enjoy yourself right by the water. And great to watch the sunset.
The board walk here is the best sound board walk. Great to be out doors and see the wild life from frogs to fish, snakes, crabs, and even a few muskrats. Along the way is great shopping, food and candy stores. Duck donuts is a Big must for stopping in and watching these delicious treats being made. Swing by the newsstand and grab some excellent coffee and a book! This place is perfect for book/specialty drink lovers!
We went to the ice cream shop located in this small plaza. They have a wide variety of delicious flavors, from which to choose. And, they will let you sample a few, to help you make a selection. I highly recommend the banana fosters. It tastes incredible!
Live music on a Sunday morning (we came mainly for Duck Donuts) and enjoyed popping into different shops and the view of the sound from the wrap around deck was awesome for selfies with the lady. Will return! A++
Duck Donuts!!! Love the specials holiday dozens. Love the design your own donut menu. Just right amount of merch in store. (The website still had Fall Special showing the day after it ended. Wish it had been changed to Christmas Special online. The kids were disappointed.)
Went to this group of shops on the boardwalk for Duck donuts. They were delicious! Small shops abound, some with very unique crafts and gifts.
Great place to find "Outer Banks" clothing for the entire family. Prices are affordable and store was well stocked in all sizes. Very friendly staff and great location at the Boardwalk in Duck.

The sound is beautiful. The boardwalk is quite nice and provides the opportunity to stop at multiple shops/boutiques. Definitely worth taking a stroll on the boardwalk
Duck has an awesome boardwalk, there's places of scenic views that make you feel secluded from shops, and then just around the bend are shops and restaurants!
Went for some duck donuts and was not disappointed. Donuts were delicious and people were friendly. Some picnic tables outside to sit at. Also good access to the sound boardwalk.
Great shops! So many different shops. It was great finding all kinds of unique gifts to take home.
Only shopped in one of the stores which is was really nice and the guy working the counter was also very nice.. Then we went over for ice cream and again the service was awesome and the ice cream of course was very good?
Went to get Duck Donuts. The center was cute. Unfortunately we were not happy with the donuts. They were not as good as we have had at another location.
Tables and area is dirty. All the shops are meh. The boardwalk is nice though.

It is always really crowded! Yummy Duck Donuts!! They also have outdoor seating with a view of the and water bowls for pups.

Very nice small shopping plaza with a few shops. The boardwalk behind it is the best part and it will take you to a bunch of other shops down the line.

Nice selection of shops with a small boardwalk but rather difficult to park in. Even during the slow season there was just one parking spot and it was still difficult to get around with people just standing around.
