Literally the best donuts I've ever had in my 60+ years on the planet! Their raised glazed are partcularly light, airy and so delicious, but every donut here is guaranteed to delight. This is a good independent donut/coffee shop with a nice selection of plain donuts which I love. (They also have breakfast sandwiches.) My husband's raised sugar donut was fresh and warm. It was so good he had a second one (sharing part of it with me). I had a delicious cake glazed which was fresh and also delicious. The glaze was nice and light, and slightly crisp on the outside. I don't know what they are doing, but keep it up. A+ service and amazing variety of freshly made donuts. I highly recommend the apple fritters. A carrot cream cheese cake bar a very well balanced creation. Chocolate chip cream cheese cake bar and a cinnamon roll delicious. Stop in and enjoy this beautiful place for yourself.

Just learned of this place and thought we?d check it out. Warm and inviting. All donuts made onsite that morning. Tried the fruity pebbles, maple glazed, Oreo, and chocolate twist. All were wonderful. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Will be back!

Today was my first time in and it did not disappoint! I noticed Right away how they have options for nut allergy, or gluten, which was really nice to see(as someone w food allergies). The vibe is artsy and cozy, and the (owners) and employees, were all very friendly! I ordered A cinnamon stack(gf), a pumpkin muffin and a cinnamon roll. The doughnuts are exceptionally good - we had a traditional glazed and a vanilla iced cake doughnut. Very fresh and light and airy. The glazed one was similar to Krispy Kream. I was surprised by how great they were. The matcha latte was solid as well. If you want a sweet treat in the morning, stop by!

There's not many savory breakfast options but they have a variety of other goodies (mostly sweets) to break the fast. I enjoyed an everything bagel with cream cheese and adding Rose flavoring to my oat Milk Latte. I would've benefited from knowing what to do with my utensils and plates after I was done too.

What a great addition to Chanhassen! My wife and I have been here three times now, cozy little family run donut shop! Every donut we have gotten is scrumptious, I always get the sausage/egg/cheese croissant breakfast sandwich too, it?s very good and on fresh baked croissants! 10/10! Cheers!

These are exquisite donuts. I had a variety of raised donuts, which were delicious, light and soft. There were a surprising number of filled options as well, including blueberry, Bavarian cream and lemon. I?ll definitely be coming back for more.

?Stopped by Orion Doughnuts a bit early in the morning so the fritters and cinnamon rolls weren?t quite ready yet?kind of a bummer, but everything still looked amazing. There were plenty of options to choose from, though. The Rice Krispy chocolate doughnut was legit, and the doughnut holes? Dangerously good. It?s a small shop with a limited menu, but the service was super friendly. Overall, a solid 5-star spot!?

These were absolutely phenomenal donuts! It was my first time ordering here, I had the apple fritter and maple old fashioned which were some of the best donuts I?ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back!!

I needed a special 50th birthday cake in a hurry and they had it baked and beautifully decorated with gorgeous pink rosettes and I picked it up in less than an hour! I was so impressed and so grateful! Their customer service is fantastic! The cake was also delicious and it was a huge hit.

Delicious treat, cinnamon stack (made without gluten) and piping hot coffee. Cute place with a few outdoor seats. I would love if they had free Wi-Fi without having to use the insurance agent?s from somewhere in the little shopping center and would make it 5 stars if they could offer GF goodies with no cross-contamination.

Stopped in for the first time this weekend. (All the positive reviews! ) I'll add mine as I ordered enough for the family to sample and we weren't disappointed. I went a bit later so missed out on a few options. But the apple-filled Bismark was delicious. We all enjoyed freshly warm apple fritters too. I didn't try the bacon-topped long john but will order next time. Five stars all around and best wishes for a successful future.

The cookies and coffee were delicious. I did not need gluten-free but the GF items looked marvelous. The store is clean and comfortable. Watching the happy, busy bakers in the back preparing the goods gave me a good feeling. My order today was "to go" but I will return, to sit and enjoy coffee, eat baked goods and relax!

I am so impressed with the quality service and delicious baked goods at this bakery! The ladies at the counter were so genuinely kind, they went out of their way to help me and make recommendations, and their over all energy and smiles made a good experience, incredible! I will absolutely be back!

We got a half dozen variety. Everything was great! They even filled a long john on the fly for my daughter. I love the glazed donut holes the portion size is great and eazy to eat. Good hours, we were able to swing in before school.

I really wanted to love Orion Donuts and support a small business, but we have now given the them 2 tries and were pretty disappointed both times. The first time we ordered a box of donuts and they were put in the box on their side, resulting in a hot mess of chocolate all over the place when we got home, pulled off from the donuts in front of the chocolate frosted ones. New donut shop in Chanhassen. So far we have thoroughly enjoyed swinging by on the weekends! It's a special trip and the quality is fantastic. Also ... They have breakfast burritos and other sandwiches. I didn't realize this the first time I went. For the days the family wants sugar and you wouldn't mind an alternative this was a huge bonus!!

Stopped in early The Prices are very high for 6 Donuts 20 bucks nothing special about them my glazed donut was so dry I couldn?t eat it got a cinnamon roll though my gut said walk out I tried it taste like a sugar bomb on dry bread customer service was okay but your better off going to Hyvee or Dunkin and get a donut cheaper that you can actually eat just my experience way over priced coffee taste like Folgers its was a bad experience but I had to try a new place that?s my fault

Very nice shop, donuts we excellent, just missed one thing thar disappointing. Ordered chocolate first and rather than getting another box for the additional donuts, she placed them on top of the chocolate, big miss... got home to gourmet donuts that were not chocolate... with chocolate all over the bottom.

We have ordered about 5 cakes now from - FROM Scratch Bakery in Chanhassen. Every one has been superior to other cakes from other places. The latest one was the carrot cake. Wow that was amazing! Best carrot cake we have ever had!

Carrot cake cupcake and free sample of triple berry hand pie we're great! I got a frozen mocha and my husband got a large late. The coffee was good. I would not stop here in a hurry. There were, we think, 8 people working, but our order took forever. Felt disorganized; like, they had no specific duties for people which led to confusion.

This bakery is amazing! Their gluten-free bagels are DELICIOUS and the service is phenomenal. They?ve been sold out recently when I?ve visited so today i called ahead?. They generously offered to make me GF bagels?. So great! Thank you ??

Scones were pretty good.. Staff was super nice. Also, the gluten free cherry white chocolate scone, through me off at the gluten free label. Gluten free often tastes like the food has been infused with old tapwater. I got another scone with Gluten, and I couldn't tell a difference at all. If you are gluten free, I think this place is really worth the drive.

Lots of gluten free choices and the Lady that helped me (Mary) knew Everything about these items . The gluten free bread made a Great grilled cheese sandwich and the brownies and chocolate bars were delicious. I want to love this bakery. The selection of gluten free food is really great. However, don?t plan on your special order being ready for the arranged pick up time. Every time I?ve gone in I?m told how short staffed they are - which I have compassion for, but a call ahead of time would be appreciated. Maybe a free coffee while I wait would be a nice gesture??.

Everyone was very friendly, and they had fresh items coming out of the oven as I walked in. I ordered some ham and cheese scones and some white bread. The scones were delicious and the bread is very soft and an enjoyable flavor

The bakery is really in a tiny space in a strip center, and I am amazed at the variety and quality of baked goods which owner/chef Shannon turns out. My wife brought back a variety box of muffins and pastries. I had the best version of the standard cinnamon roll that I've ever had. Normally big as a discus, overly slimed with sugar which soaks the puffy insides. Oh my goodness, what a hidden treasure From Scratch Bakery is. Love the artsy atmosphere and the friendly staff. Had their delicious Cherry White Chocolate Chunk scone with a flavorful cup of coffee. Yum. Everything tastes delicious. I've been going to this bakery for almost a year now, since it changed hands, and have never been disappointed. They use fresh ingredients and don't skimp on the quality. Great regulars like cinnamon and pecan rolls, but also new stuff to try. I especially like the cakes and cookies and anything CHOCOLATE.

We used From Scratch for our daughter's baptism. They did a great job, we only gave them 1-week notice and they were on-time, no questions asked and we loved the cake! Thank you! Really nice to have such an efficient, tasty, option locally.

I ordered a specialty cake for someone with severe dietary restrictions 1 month prior to the event. Given her dietary restrictions, and never having a birthday cake, I ordered a very specific cake. Again, 1 month prior to the event. Picked up the cake and was told that, due to staffing issues, they didn?t have time to complete my cake as ordered. That was frustrating. The caramel pecan rolls are most excellent. The white bread and cinnamon raisin bread taste great and I really like both the lemon and strawberry cakes. Cherry pie and banana cream pie are also my top favorites.

We recently tried the 6" Strawberry Cake and it was heavenly! So moist and such fresh strawberry flavor. We will definitely be trying the other cake flavors too. If you have not tried this bakery yet, you need to visit them!

The donuts tasted great and I loved the music.

They sold us a stale chocolate cake. It was probably the most disgusting cake we have ever tried. The frosting was so old it was hard and crumbly and tasted like old stale sugar. We had to throw whole cake away. It was so disappointing. Their other stuff might be good but I can not say the same for the cake they sold us today. What a birthday disappointment argh :(
