Since this location is local, it is a must to drop by and buy some of their snackies. 4 items: heat up the donuts for 5-10 seconds to get the best taste. 1. Small hip donut shop. Order from a pad. The donuts are beautifully made and absolutely delicious. The butter pistachio is subtle and so yum. I found the donuts I tried weren't too sweet. So easy to indulge. The tiramsu, get it. I would love to try the peanut butter jelly donut, next. Love the feel of the takeaway box. Love the general orange-y color scheme of the place.

The butter pistachio and the coconut were our favorites. I think what sets these donuts apart isn?t the dough, it?s the creams inside the donuts that are so good and unique. I actually really like them and I typically avoid donuts with the inner creams because they?re typically too sweet. Not these, they have it dialed in just right. We?ll be back to try a few new ones we didn?t have the capacity to try this time around. The guy working there was very friendly and helpful. Great customer service.

The milk cream ball was amazing! I am usually pretty strict with my (relatively) clean low carb diet, but decided to treat myself recently for a birthday & i was pleasantly surprised. I still didn't go nuts & eat the whole thing - as much as I would have loved to lol - but i split it with my boyfriend & we were both impressed by the fluffy, yeasty dough & the sweet-but-not-too-sweet creamy filling. I love the donuts from Old Ferry. They have a variety of unique donuts that aren't too sweet compared to the normal American standard. I ended up getting the creme brulee and milk cream ball. The milk cream ball was nice and airy, while the creme brulee was delicious with the caramel crackle on top. The donuts are a bit on the pricey side, but worth the cost. The decor of the store is giving vintage 70s modern which is cool. Parking can be hard to find since they share parking with a bunch of other eateries

Finally we had old ferry donut here!!! The donuts are really good, awesome!! Especially pistachio donut would be perfect with hot coffee. I went there around 2:30pm, but some donuts have already went out. I would better to go early because there are many donuts that I want to try. And, the owner is very handsome :)

Great donut place! Pretty expensive but worth it, the cream inside is really good. Didn?t expect the donut to be that good. We went here before they close so not much flavors are available but the ones that are taste really good already. How much more the other best sellers right? We will come back for more soon! ??

The worker was super friendly and gave me lots of recommendations and a donut sticker. I tried the Pistachio cream and milk cream donuts. The Pistachio had a nice mix of textures, but the flavor wasn't particularly strong. I recommend the milk cream. They also have different coffee drinks, some teas, and flavored milks. I kinda like donuts and cant eat more than half of one because they are too sweet and overwhelmingly silly but yummy. I LOVE these, they are the best donut or pastry I've ever had. I can't recommend anything I've ever had in life more than this place. I've been dreaming about going back. I feel like Balance is a hard thing to do in life and they do it so well with everything. Upon walking in we were quickly greeted. The man working helped describe the donuts we had questions on and was very hospitable. We ended up getting the cookies and cr?me and butter pistachio donuts, they were both delicious, light and creamy. Would definitely come back.

The doughnuts are fresh and delicious!! The flavor milks are so good my favorite was the vanilla. The employees are super friendly and attentive. It?s a small location with limited seats.

Korean take on a donut house. Coffee is passable, donuts are good but not great. Had the tiramisu donut, but it doesn't taste like mascarpone cheese nor coffee liqueur, the key ingredients of a proper tiramisu. It does got a dusting of coco powder on it so maybe it's a look thing? Tasty, but misleading name. Not sure if I wanna give the Earl grey donut a shot next time... Service is friendly, shop is tiny, and parking isn't the easiest - that lot has too many eateries jam packed together.

My favorites are the Raspberry Ring and the basic glazed ring. I don?t usually like cream fillings, but my friends and family love their cream filled ones. I really like the Raspberry Ball also, it is amazing and has real fresh tasting raspberry jam type filling. The parking is easy at this San Gabriel location. The owner and employees are so nice and the store is so clean.

Nestled in Alhambra is an awesome little donut shop called Old Ferry Donut!!! The staff here are really friendly and always great you with a smile. My wife really loves this place because the donuts taste so good she says, "Like the oil is fresh, everything, not like some places where they use the oil so long it leaves that oil aftertast.. I have never experienced a donut that was fried at the correct temperature until I came here. These donuts are properly cooked. The donuts are delicious and not greasy. Love the flavors and have tried all of them. The people working here really know what they are doing. Excellent. Buy a donut here and you will see it surpasses a fancy pastry.

I've only had the butter pistachio donut, holy hot bananas I really love it. It was light, fluffy and sweet. Staff was friendly and helpful! Delicious unique donuts. Employees/owners very nice and helpful. Only drawback is the prices. Not priced for the average customers like me. We paid over $25 for 5 donuts. I recommend them if you have the budget. We will be happy across the street at a normal donut shop. Sorry Old ferry donuts.

Visited Old Ferry Donut for the first time on a Sunday afternoon as we in the San Gabriel Mission area. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and were able to see the variety of donuts that they had for the day. We ordered a total of 3 donuts and drinks. Simply the best donut I've ever had. I got the creme Brule donut. It had the simplicity of a glazed donut except with the creme brulle exterior and a creme filling. 10/10 would go back. Probably go back today to try a different donut. Lol

I bought a Boston Creme bar for $3.75 and a small coffee for $4. The donut was given to me in a decorative box, which was nice but the cost of that box is added in the final price. The filling in the doughnut was very good, not immitation sweet or too sugary sweet. Unfortunately their prices are very high. They've made it so an average person can't partake a few times a week, or even twice a week! Altogether, paying $8.54 for one donut and a small coffee is sadly not a sustainable treat.

Ordered one pistachio butter, coconut, tiramisu, and cr?me br?l?e. My all time faves are pistachio and coconut.. sooo good!!! I just wish the pistachio taste was more potent. Tiramisu was my least fave of all. I just couldn't finish it. Cr?me br?l?e was good but not something I would order again. I've been back two for the pistachios and coconut. I prefer the standard cheap donut shops that are everywhere, but if you want something unique and pricier then check this place out. They were sold out of their filled donuts. Can't they make more, or are they made somewhere else? The simple, not-filled donut was okay, but pricey. They give you a donut in a cardboard box instead of a little bag like most places-wasteful.

Cr?me br?l?e (4/5) crispy sugar exterior, soft dough and creamy vanilla custard. Honestly plain and one note compared to others. Not too sweet Raspberry (5/5) ??so good. Tart raspberry glaze with chunky raspberry jam on the inside. Sweeter than the cr?me br?l?e but had really refreshing raspberry flavor. Packaged very nicely.

Get the Butter Pistachio!! Crumbly on the outside, and more pistachio cream inside. Donuts are all so soft and not too sweet. Milk Cream ball and Creme Brulee were good too.
