O J's Donuts

Stopped by for dessert after brunch and grabbed a glazed and a chocolate glazed donut?both tasted incredible with coffee. This place is seriously adorable! We noticed a big difference in donut availability when we came back after lunch, so be sure to visit early. The coffee smelled amazing, too. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

So, I recently went to a donut shop around the area in a more expensive part of town and their donuts were gross. We randomly found OJ?s Donuts and fried it out and they were SO moist, fresh and delicious! I was so happy we found this spot! The folks that work here were so nice and helpful. Excited to make this our regular spot.

When i was a kid, I recall getting donuts here a few times, but my dad would typically take us to Big Bear Donuts, which unfortunately went out of business. At home, I don't have any shortage of options for donuts, but I've been to enough places to tell you they more or less all taste pretty much the same. But with that said, I will say the donuts here were among the better ones I've had. The dough tasted fresh and the Boston Creams I got had a good amount of filling.

Been here twice and already love it. The sausage Croissant was really good. The donuts too. If me and my dad get here early The donuts will be even better. The staff was really friendly. And I know they work really hard to get fresh donuts.

OJ?s Donuts is a must-stop in Big Bear! We grabbed a glazed donut, some glazed donut holes, and an apple fritter?and every single bite was incredible. The glazed donut was light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet. The donut holes were poppable perfection, and the apple fritter was crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside, and big enough to share (though you might not want to!). You can tell everything is made fresh and with care. This place is a hidden gem for anyone with a sweet too

We only tried 2 donuts today, the glaze and the sugar powdered they were so insanely puffy and soft! Way better than the DD?s for sure. But I can?t say the same for their coffee here.. DD?s coffee definitely tastes better than the coffee at this place.. sorry but I didn?t enjoy it. Overall is good experience for a tourist like us ??

Came in this morning and it was quick and easy. Ordered a sugar coated donut, chocolate glaze donut, cheese danish, medium black coffee and a small mango smoothie. Everything was delicious. The donuts were fluffy and doughy. The danish was super good. A little bit too sweet for me with the glaze, I?d rather have one without glaze on the outside. I wish they had that option but I didn?t see it. The cheese filling tasted like cheesecake and had the texture like one. Overall super delicious. The total was $12.

I like visiting local donut shops as opposed to the newer/trendy ones! The array of donuts offered here is simply mouthwatering. I like the classic flavors! What struck me most beyond the deliciousness of the donuts (and the yummy smell!) was the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You can tell that the customers go there because of the welcoming/friendly vibes.

They bake one of the best fresh French crullers I've ever had, maple or plain. Friendly service by the owner. Good place for classic donuts, nothing fancy or special but really....try the crullers! Plenty of parking.

Oh man these donuts are waxxxiiinnnn!!! Man I mean packed with flavor. The maple they use must be straight from the trees because I've never had a maple bar so bizomb!!!

Smells like Pine Sol. Not sure if they were cleaning before closing or if that's always the case. The cream in my Boston Cream donut tasted like it came from a can. The girl smashed my donut with the other two we ordered - a hollow Apple Fritter and a cake donut. Disappointing.

Donut only review: Delicious soft fresh donuts so they're first come first serve cause they make a certain amount for the day. Lady there is nice and efficient. Donuts are around $2. I wish they didn't charge credit card fees this the 4 stars ??

There was a line running out the door so I thought this was going to be better than it was. they are pretty much just basic donuts. I do not recommend going here for french creullers because they are very deflated. My devil's food cake had a nice crunch but not terribly flavorful and kind of dry. The kids thought their donuts were just okay as well. The ham and cheese croissant was good. much like a ham and cheese croissant from most donut shops.

We've been getting donuts here for years. The owner recognizes & remembers people, that's the kind of service we're talking about here. Not only are the donuts divine, the service is very hometown mom n pop shop. It is wonderful. Every flavor is fresh & fabulous. I've never once had a bad experience in 20 years. Highly recommend whenever you're in Big Bear.

I have gone in 3 times this week for the donuts, which are very delicious. The same employee has been there to greet me every time, she has been super friendly and welcoming.

Horrible, used to have great food, and good coffee, the coffee was so watered down it should have been classified as tea, they used to have orange juice, now they have sunny D, so sad used to be an amazing breakfast stop, I will definitely never be returning.

Every pay day I come here for breakfast. My favorites are the croissants and danishes; but you can't go wrong here. One day I will order one of their novelty donuts, which need to be ordered a day in advance but it will be worth it. Will continue to go here.

Donuts were fresh. Disappointed no lemon filled donuts. The lady behind the counter said they stopped making lemon filled, because not enough people bought them. My husband said I do, she replied, but you don't come here everyday. This place was priced higher than what we usually pay for a dozen donuts.

Donuts and muffins great quality. They we're out of most of the croissants by 11ish but the jalapeno ham and cheese was quite yummy. Great friendly service just a bit crowded in the shop.

Pretty solid, convienentt donut choice! Thought it would be busy with three events in town, but was in and out and on the road! Good selection of the pre-made refrigerated coffees, as well as having freshly brewed option.

Place always comes through with the best donuts in town. Apple fritter, cake, chocolate bar, Boston cream and maple glazed French curler on my last trip.

Had ham and cheese croissants and it was good. They make all those donuts and croissants and other bakery in house. Coffee is just mediocre, it would be way better if they had espresso machine instead of gas-station-quality coffee.

I would give them 10 stars if I could!! Seriously, these are the best donuts you'll find for miles. I'm practically addicted. The donut holes are amazing, I have tried to find a place better but after 3 years OJ's Donuts still holds the crown. I am a bit of a dount addict and having this place around the corner is dangerous.....dangerously delicious!!

Great strawberry cream cheese pastries, but the coffee was pretty weak. Place wast modestly clean and had a kind and caring staff. I'd recommend going before hitting the slopes.

Really now, how hard is it to keep ham and cheese croissants made and ready to sell? Why is that so difficult? Why are they out 75% of the time when so many people come in daily for them? It's the most frustrating thing on Earth to CONSTANTLY waste my time coming here just to turn right back around and leave empty handed. When they do have them, which is rare, they're amazing. But that hardly ever happens, and it's becoming old. Very unsatisfied, loyal customer here, soon to no longer be loyal.

Great pastries and coffee for a reasonable price. You can get a donut, a cheese danish, and a coffee for the price of what local shops would sell you just 1 pastry or 1 coffee. I also appreciate that they are open early in the morning.

OJ?s does donuts well?it has to? it has ?donuts? in its name. Slight crisp outside and fluffy inside with crisp drizzles of sugar. Delicious in taste, smell, and texture. The place itself could use a visual upgrade because it doesn?t look so comfy?don?t expect to choose from several coffee types and relax on a food table while eating your donut. You grab and enjoy those donuts ELSEWHERE!

These donut are fire. Had the maple bar, chocolate old fashioned donut bar, and 2 cinnamon crumb donuts. Crumb was the best but devoured them all. Didnt try the coffee, but regardless of the quality, worth the trip for the donuts!

Fully stocked; chocolate custard donut, apple fritter and October they had a yummy pumpkin crumb muffin paid around $5.

Bad service, the woman at the counter was grumpy and a bit rude; however, the worst part Is that I had found glass in one of the donuts I took home while I was chewing it. I highly recommend not eating from this restaurant.

Super stoked that they have frozen yogurt now. Only place in Big Bear! I wish they had low/no cal flavors too. And a better selection...

Well it ain?t gr9 but it?s open on Wednesday so I guess it has that going for it. The cappuccino isn?t a coffee btw. It?s cheap too so if you?re broke it?s a good spot.
