This place is a gem. Delicious old-school donuts, it opens early as all get out, and the granny and her grandson working inside are beyond cute. A slice of Americana and one of the coolest, most old-school spot in St. Louis!

This place has a fairly limited selection of donuts, even in the early morning. The cake donuts have a pretty good outer texture, but the interior can taste a bit too moist and mushy. The yeast donuts are made well. Everything is really cheap so I'd say it's worth a try, but nothing to rave about.
Sweet, fresh donuts. Definitely a takeout place, but worth going to. It is cash only, and the doors aren't automatic for those with accessibility needs.
Delicious donuts, especially the apple fritters and long johns. My daughter loves their donuts with fruity pebbles sprinkles. staff really appreciates their customers. Not as many varieties as larger shops, but the styles they do have really hit the mark. Keep up the great work
I tried to stop in on a Monday couple weeks back. The hours posted said they opened at 5. There were workers inside, but at 5 the doors were locked, and there were no donuts in the cases. I'll update my review when I'm finally able to give them a try, it would just be nice to have some clarity as to their hours of operation
Great donuts. It is Cash Only. Reasonably priced. Donuts have an initial crunch to them. So you are going to either love them or think they are OK. Worth a try to judge for yourself.
These donuts are so light and airy. The shop is a true gem in the community. Call in advance for big orders but you will never be disappointed because the donuts are spectacular all flavors. Staff is sooo nice and greet you with smiles. Will make your coffee and make your day.

Me father used to get donuts here back in the 1980's! They have the recipe mastered and every donut is great! Stop by they are open from 5:00am-1 pm daily.
This classic donut shop is awesome! Handy to The Hill community where I stay sometimes for business. Truly remarkable product. One of the best donuts I've ever had. Great, friendly service too...just what you'd expect from a neighborhood business.
Closed on Tuesdays now apparently. Great donuts, but apparently they're they are closed on Tuesdays now which would have been nice or know lol. Hopefully I can catch them next time since I don't live in the area anymore :/

Very happy to have this place back after they had to close to repair storm damage. Worlds Fair went down the tubes when it changed owners so it?s great to have another shop that does traditional style donuts so well and so close! The people are always nice and the prices are right.

AKA "Elvis' Donuts on the Hill!" I have an unusual taste for plain (no icing!) cake donuts which are great with hot coffee or tea. They have plain cake, buttermilk, and blueberry with no icing commonly along with the more adorned varieties for sweeter-toothed folks (custard, cheesecake, chocolate, etc.). Their coffee is great. It is a small neighborhood shop so if big order you may want to speak with them in advance. Very nice folks we have known for many years.
FRESH and no-frills! Just a good donut. Plenty of options and owners were friendly. Unbelievable prices were a great surprise! This will be put on my 'must visit' list for St. Louis traditions now. They are cash only, so come prepared!
The caramel twists are amazing -- some of the best rolls I've ever had. The glazed buttermilk donuts and the yeast raised donuts are very good as well. Everything else is pretty average. Most donuts/long johns cost 0.75. The place is run by an older guy and woman. They are very polite and nice. The place looks kinda run down but I kind of like that in my donut place.
This hidden gem has the best donuts in the city!! Glad we tried them, now it's the only place we buy donuts. So good??
These are the best donuts in St. Louis, hands down! I have tried at least a bakers dozen other shops and O'Fashion's glazed yeast, glazed cake, and sugared jelly donuts are all the best I have ever eaten. And I have eaten A LOT of donuts. Eat here daily! Just leave some for me!!!
This place is absolutely tiny. There is not even room for 8 people to stand inside (if that many). The place looks very run down and quite frankly questionable. However, they have EXCELLENT donuts. Their long johns are good, fluffy and light with a perfect amount of frosting. Their glazed buttermilk is the lightest, tastiest cake donut I've ever had, and their traditional frosted cake was just perfect. Don't let the look put you off - this is a place who seriously knows what they are doing with their donuts
I showed up at 5:45 am for donuts and couldn't gain entry ?. All the lights were on . And the man inside, who was making donuts told me. We're not open . I'm not sure why .
Every time I've had them in the last 20 years they have been great. They just have a problem with actually getting open in the morning. Not very consistent.

Melt-in-your-mouth donuts--real, not the airy concoctions foisted off by DD and KK. I'm an aficionado and think these are among the best in St. Louis. Because it's a mom 'n pop shop, selection can be limited but it doesn't matter--they're all delicious!

Nice little donut stop. The only thing I ever find myself getting here is the glazed donut and it is REALLY good. Everything is is average. Would have given 3 stars except the glazed donut is so exception it get another star above average.
Not open during published hours. I'll revise my review when they start being honest about when they're open. Nothing is more infuriating than driving all the way to a business that claims they're open only to have that be a lie.
I?ll take fresh made, high quality donuts like this over mass produced, sometimes frozen ones any day. Nothing fancy here but who needs it when you have such great quality.

I just drove by at 10:30 pm and you're not open. What happened? Please post correct hours of operation on Google, or post notice if you will be closed. Also, no one answered the phone when I called - please set up an answering machine, so customers can find out hours/store closures.
Went there well it's supposed to be open in the morning, door locked one employee inside just stared at me finally open the door after me standing there for 15 minutes close the door very rude will not go back

Solid choice for donuts. All the basics expertly prepared. People get upset when I bring them around because they cannot resist them. blueberry cake is a favorite.
