I don't think I've ever had donuts this good before. Cooked perfectly and the icing wasn't to sweet. We got 3 iced donuts with sprinkles, 1 glazed, and 1 french crueller.

Ohmymy ! These donuts are incredible ! When I worked for APS bus garage we would quite often stop at North Hill Donuts for a yummy donut and cup of coffee. Today, being in the neighborhood, I decided to stop by and get a very much missed FRENCH CRULLER . I was sooo excited to see they had 4 left ! Oh yeah, grabbed a half dozen and chatted with Louie for awhile . These donuts are made fresh daily on the premises and quite frankly the best donut you will EVER sink your teeth into ! Finally, donuts that taste FRESH and delicious! Hard to find around Akron/Falls/etc area. The older gentleman that served us was so sweet! We hope to order the gigantic donut one day for an event haha. It?s CASH ONLY- but they have an ATM inside the shop!

Louie and North Hill Donuts are an Akron gem. Best donuts in Akron hands down, plus stopping here to grab a dozen and have a quick chat with Louie never ceases to make me smile for the rest of the day. Make sure you stop by and visit, you won?t regret it! Bring cash, there is an ATM you can use but planning ahead will save you $$ on ATM fees.

Called two weeks in advance to place an order for a birthday party serving 45 people for two giant donuts. I was quoted just under $60 cash for my order and they repeated that they had one chocolate and one vanilla giant donut on order. Just came to pick up and was shown that the piece of paper said that I ordered two donuts but they only made one that is half-and-half iced. Extremely disappointed that everything was written down correctly and repeated to me correctly and I am now short half of the servings

I used to go here as a kid. Their apple fritters were my favorite! I bit into one and I can taste the fruit that's gone bad. Literally so disappointed :( I spent 12 bucks and didn't get a receipt of course.

Best donuts in all of Akron. I don?t eat them often, but when I do I come here to buy a dozen. The old man there is always very kind and nice. He?s always excited to box up your favorite picks. Some of the best donuts I?ve ever had in my life. Always fresh. Always delicious. The owner is always there and smiling when you enter the door. This reminds me of the mom and pop bakeries of my youth. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good donut/pastry.

It's a shame that this is only a take out place, especially since they have a counter and stools but they are chained off. The donuts are very dense, not like the air fluff ones from the large chains. Good taste

Mid-century digs hint that North Hill has been around for a while. It's clear why - the donuts are fresh and delicious. Cream filled was recommended and I tried coconut on a whim. Staff very welcoming. I'll go back for sure.

Cash only. Old school donut shop like you see in the movies. Delicious donut great selection. My only issue is I wish you could sit down and injoy a donut and coffee the chairs and counter are rope off for some reason which sucks. But great donut very good owner is a very kind man.

We did a taste test with friends and family this morning between North Hill Donuts and Jubilee. North Hill won in all categories. From the icing on top to the cream inside, they didn?t skimp like other shops do. Flavor, texture and yummy-ness were all winners.

These are the most amazing donuts I?ve ever had in my life. The cream sticks and the glazed.. oh my gosh take my money. We could have world peace if everyone just ate one of these. Very grateful for this gem in Akron, God Bless this fine establishment.

My wife went in today to pick up the donut we ordered for my daughter's 11th birthday, the old man told us it was free a couple months back, today it was 30 dollars. Not the issue, my wife came back to grab my wallet to pay for the donut, we only Live less than a minute walk away, within that time he sold the donut and was extremely rude when asked why. I will not be giving them my business ever again.

This place is very old. They've been around for the longest time. And anybody that knows this place it is the best place to get donuts.

I've searched the whole state for better donuts and these are still the best. They're fresh every time I get them - never stale. Multiple flavors to choose from. The glaze that they use for their donuts is perfect and their frostings are all homemade. My favorite is the double chocolate cake and the cherry cake. Their apple fritters are great too. Only complaint is it's a little expensive, $20/dozen. Note they only take cash.

Their donuts are soft and taste great! They don't offer indoor dining, and I'm good with that. I'm usually picking up donuts for other people as well. The gentleman behind the counter is so nice! I will definitely be going back!

World's best donut here! You cannot get a bad one but do not come here without trying the cream and jelly filled powdered donut. It is better than you are imagining- promise! Plus the staff is always incredibly warm and kind. Go here!

The service on a Sunday morning at 6:30am was great. The doughnuts were all good. They did have a nice selection of doughnuts to choose. Definitely a step up from most of the doughnut shops in the area.

The place isn't much to look at but these are the best donuts anywhere around since Crest Bakery. The dough is light and flavorful and you could crawl into the jelly cream and live there forever. The giant donuts are great for parties and will easily serve 15 people. Everything is priced well and I've never met anyone in there who wasn't friendly.

Wow! I thought I knew what the best donuts tasted like. North Hill donuts truly deserves the recognition of being the best donuts you'll ever have. I'm new to Ohio and the Akron area and honestly, this is the best thing I've eaten (not just sweets, but everything) since relocating here. The owner was truly a delight and sweet as could be. Great people, prices, and donuts. I live right down the road and don?t know why I don?t go there once a week. I?ve had it once before the pandemic and the donuts were great. Just went this morning and the lady working is so nice and listened to my toddlers talk about the most random things. Got 6 BIG donuts and 2 cookies for around $10. This is the first time I?ve ever seen my daughter eat more than just the sprinkles off the donut, she ate the whole thing! She doesn?t do that for anywhere else.

Excellent donuts, fantastic coffee, and owned and operated by one of the nicest people I've ever met and a friend of the family for decades. Louie runs a great shop here and has some awesome employees today and over the years. It used to be good when it was a Dunkin Donuts franchise, but is even better now as North Hill Donuts because there's more liberty to do right by the customer and make it a greater experience every time. A local donut shop that offers a large variety of different donuts and treats that taste great! Coffee is also served here, and while the atmosphere definitely feels stuck in a different era, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. This place is a must visit if you're looking for a quick dessert or breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Great donuts! Fresh made, so not like the dry donuts you get at Giant Eagle and Dunkin. They cost a little more, but you're supporting a local business and it's so worth having a great, fresh, delicious real donut. The coconut is probably my favorite- so freaking delicious!

I often stop here to get donuts for my coworkers and they absolutely love them. The donuts are large and delicious. Every time I go the people are extremely nice and very personable. Often I walk in and there are people sitting at the counter drinking coffee and just talking to each other. There aren't many places like that where you walk in and you're greeted by name and feel welcomed. I always reccomend this donut shop to large chain stores.

Very nice gentleman waited on me at 8 pm and told me of the 3 freshest hot donuts that had just come out! I chose the crueller and peanut donut and oh my goodness - they were THE BEST donuts I've tasted! So glad I decided to turn around and head back in when I first drove past it. Great donut shop like you would find 20 years ago. Classic flavors and selection you would expect. Great krulers. Down side is it is cash only, so be aware. Stopped by for the first time Sunday morning since I had cash and I've heard good things. The gentleman was so nice & when I told him how much money I had, he told me how many donuts I could pick. I ended up eating 3 of the varieties (the rest were unfortunately shared lol). The blueberry cake was AMAZING!!!! I also had the double fudge and a powdered Kreme stick which were just as delicious. Definitely a little gem with far, FAR superior donuts to the standard Krispy Kreme or Dunkin!
