I was looking for a donut shop that were homemade. I found Nicola?s and drove from Odessa,Fl to give it a shot. BEST decision ever. The customer service was awesome, he was so kind and friendly. My favorite is a blueberry cake donut, and it was light and flavorful and not dense at all. We cannot wait to come back!

Such a great little shop! The donuts are fabulous! I always get a dozen of the specialty donuts and a dozen of the regular donuts and they never disappoint. The staff are amazing and friendly. I grabbed a m&m donut, out of the very many in show I decided to start with this one today. They have guava donut! It was my first time at Nicola?s today. It was on my list for some time after reading the great reviews and one of the few shops in Tampa which sells cronuts. All I have to say is AMAZING! Don?t hesitate. Rush to this place and pick yourself up some. Go early because once they sell out, they close shop. That speaks to the freshness of their food. It was my first time here and I stopped by this morning to grab five dozen donuts and asked for a variety of their greatest hits. Nichola's donuts are fantastic and HUGE! Everyone RAVED about how great they were! These aren't just donuts, they are outrageously good. The "fancy" donuts are OVER THE TOP. People kept stopping by my office asking where I got these. I absolutely LOVE Nicola's donuts! Their donuts are so extremely tasty, and I love coming in and seeing the different donuts they have available. Their coffee is yummy too! I feel their donuts are different in that their dough is not as sweet which is a perfect balance because their icing is. They are also thick and fluffy! They know what they're doing over there.

This place is amazing!! It's a little hole in the wall place that I never noticed my entire 4yrs living in Florida. Better late than never!! We got 8 of their fancy/crazy donuts at $2 a donut, walked out paying $16 for amazing donuts you can't get anywhere. Look I have been waiting to try these donuts for years. They are a local donut shop and I must say they are worth waking up early for. All the donuts I have tried thus are a amazing. The coconut one is really rich and flavorful. The croissant glazed square is so good and flakey. The jelly filled one is tasty and generously filled. Love Nicolas Donuts! We visit every time I'm in the Forest Hills area. Today we got 4 donuts - a chocolate and strawberry frosted, a sour cream, and a coconut. This sour cream donut was next level heavenly. There is a true distinction between these donuts and a chain produced donut in their fluffiness, sweetness, and glazes. Go local and support Nicolas. To die for. It is a small shop with no inside seating. You don't need to sit, your doughnuts will not last long enough. They have a great selection, but you have to get there early. Some of the best flavors are red velvet, glaze, snickers, roses and the somos which are specialty doughnuts. They cost a little more, but well worth it!

Cute l'il Donut shop, entirely lived up to our expectations. Good choice, with varied flavours and options. Friendly staff, perhaps a little too encouraging! My Wife, the Donut connoisseur, really seemed to appreciate the Pumpkin Spice Cake Donut (not in the photo), eating half and saving the other half to warm up in the microwave later. Yum. I went while in Tampa for a short vacation and these donuts were so good, we went back the next day. The cinnamon roll and apple fritter are dinner plate sized. Great value! I also wanted to spend the last of my American cash but didn?t have quite enough, so I asked to split it. One of the owners took what I had and said that?s fine and sent me on my way. This place has the BEST gourmet donuts in all of Tampa!! I've been going here for many years and though they've changed owners, they have remained consistent with their product and that's impressive because a lot of places lose that when they change ownership.
