EXCELLENT!! Visited 10/16/24- My favorite bakery in Chillicothe. Living far away, it was my first time to visit here since they relocated a few years ago. Was so sad when their old location burned. This is New System back and better than ever. As soon as I walked in the door, the comforting, familiar, yummy fragrances burned in my memory from childhood greeted me like an old friend and I just stood there and breathed it in for a moment, blissful. New System Bakery staff is very welcoming and friendly to everyone who visits! I have no clue why anyone would want to go to an establishment that isn't! If you choose to stop in, you will not be disappointed. I cannot fathom why someone would post hateful things about a business that doesn't deserve it...if you choose to go to another bakery because they believe in bigotry post that so most of us can avoid that establishment! SUPPORT New System Bakery, a Great and Welcoming place for everyone!

Our first visit here today and it was awesome! The Chicken Croissant and Cheese and Broccoli Soup was excellent! Dessert was very good, plus some came home with us.?? We'll be back!

Small and quaint bakery that caters to your sweet cravings. One of the best Bismarck?s I?ve had. Powdered delicious with a soft and scrumptious vanilla cream filling on the inside. All donuts, cookies, and other pastries are out of this world. Good coffee. Nice and friendly service from all staff. Parking on the sides of the building. Decent prices, for delicious baked goods.

The customer service was absolutely amazing! The sweetest workers, who were very helpful! Also their baked goods I couldn?t recommend more! So fresh and yummy. Would give unlimited amount stars if I could! My new favorite bakery.

First time here, very disappointed, no donuts only a few cookies. We're not from Chillicothe so highly doubt we'll be back.

They are one of our favorite places, their food is excellent and so are the staff! We highly recommend them to everyone!

We had the lasagna, salad and roll today for the lunch special. It was delicious, and the service was fast. We also got a box of Bismarks and the flavor cinnamon rolls that were so good!! Love this place ??

The Bismarcks are amazing. I was in town for two days and had to stop by this place before leaving to grab a bunch more. The lady behind the counter was really nice.

Come here if you want the best food in town. No where else can you get delicious homemade food as well as great fresh pastries. The staff is so friendly and personable, if they don?t have something you want, they make sure you find something that?ll make you happy. The owner has really made that place into the best it?s ever been and is always having new innovative ideas, not just with the food, but with events as well. Great bakery in an old building full of history. Decor is tastefully done to highlight the many lives their space has lived through the years. Definitely get the cold brew coffee. While simple, it's brewed in house and very delicious. Their staff is friendly and make you feel like family. New system bakery is a definite stop every time I'm back in Chillicothe. You won't be disappointed.

I bought a white 2 layer cake, it was so dry. and the cherry/raisin cookies did not have much flavor. I also got the blueberry muffins, now they are good. the pineapple upside down small cake was good too. I might give them one more try. they are a bit pricey.

Not a fan at all. First complaints are the stairs and 2 doors you need to open and close with your arms full of donuts. 2nd set of complaints are no fry cakes, Empty long John's, and no jelly filled donuts. Third set of complaints are that there just isn't enough cinnamon in the rolls so they are plain and just doughy. I don't even really consider these donuts they are just various sweet breads. Unbelievable ! My husband ordered a dozen Bismark from this place to be sent to AZ. The order was placed on Friday to be sent Saturday and arrive on the following Monday as of Wednesday had not received anything . THE TRACKING said probably won't receive them any time this week. I would never order from this place we have nothing for 28 dollars. Owner said to bad people we don't care.

This is a Gem n Chillicothe! A wonderful little bakery and a very historic building. They have been a part of Chillicothe for a long time. Wonderful people that run this place. They always have seasonal items, and you can even eat lunch there. The building is very beautifully decorated inside, A very neat place to eat and grab some sweets. They have fresh fruit cookies cakes and some very unique items. I highly recommend trying them out!

I actually ordered from Door Dash a dozen of there doughnuts and all I can say is WOW. They are absoluting amazing! I am now obsessed and they have the best Starwberry Filled Pastery of greatness. I'm not sure the names but goodness I could eat them all day long! They remind me of toaster strudels but in stick form and are 10 times better! If you ever see them on Door Dash or are in the area they are definitely worth a try!

I was born and raised in Ohio. I remember my mom and dad taking me to get donuts. Now my husband and I live in Texas and you can not find donuts like New Systems! Our favorites are the Bismarks and the Cream/Iced-sticks. Happy they now ship out of state. One of a kind bakery!

We picked up a cake on Christmas Eve. We brought it home and wrapped the box tightly in plastic wrap and put in the deep freeze for a couple of days. When we got it out to serve, it was so dry. It was like eating a dry sponge. Nobody would eat it so consequently we ended up throwing away a half sheet cake. When I talked to the owner she said she was sorry but offered no compensation of any kind. This was our first time buying a cake from this bakery and it will be our last.

I grew up eating this bakery, and I remember it as far back as I can remember. Coming home from school to a Devils Food Pie was such a treat. Since the change of location and staff, the quality has declined in a disappointing way. My parents, especially my dad, loved this bakery. They couldn't go to Chillicothe without going to New Systems. The cupcakes are now dense and taste stale. I'm not sure but they taste like they're frozen then dethawed. Has great doughnuts and cookies. I think sometimes they even havecakes and pies, not very big, but they are delicious. It's a totally different taste than Crispe Creme in town, which what makes it good... It gives you VARIETY!!!

I love the bismarks and cream sticks! They also have seasonal cookies there too such as the Halloween cookies and the valentines cookies. Donut holes are a good time, too. Always worth the drive from Cincy!

Old fashioned bakery. Their signature product is the Bismark. A delicious pastry with cream filling. Want chocolate bismarks? You can only get them on Friday. Just before Christmas they make a fruit cake that is legendary.

paid over $7 for a dozen sugar cookies, they were horrible ! I was shocked, I have never had anything bad from here. cookie had no flavor and the icing tasted old.

Love the bismarks and brownies... All I can say is I want chocolate creme filled like replace the white creme with chocolate cream bismarks with powdered sugar on outside.

You crushed my cookies by cramming 2 dozen in a small box. Use some common sense and a bigger box because the blue icing was everywhere.
