NC DONUT STAR..

We are out of town and stopped here. What a variety of FRESH delicious donuts. The donuts are huge and very filling. ?? ??. It's a must to stop here. I would have pictures of the different donuts, but I ate most of them because they are fat free and sugar free.

My husband had stopped in a few times and was bringing donuts home. The family was in love! So much so that for my daughter's 14th birthday recently she didn't want a cake she wanted donuts. Thanks to NC Donut Star, we gave her both. They offer a huge donut cake at a great price. Staff was super friendly when ordering and picking up. Their maple bacon donut is my favorite. Thank you guys for offering such a delicious treat! We'll be returning very soon!

These are the best donuts we?ve ever tasted!! We ordered the cookies and cream, fruity pebbles, strawberry, and glazed. All were amazing!! We?ve found our new favorite donut shop. If you haven?t tried them yet you should. You won?t be disappointed!

NC Donut Star is a hidden gem. These donuts are hands-down the best around! There?s no comparison. Their simple glazed donuts are airy & pillowy and they just melt in your mouth. They offer a bunch of specialty / seasonal donuts that kids love too. You have to stop in and support this fabulous local business! While I?m partial to the glazed, I can?t wait to try their apple fritters and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut next time.

There was a literal line out the door and for good reason! This place was DELICIOUS. The staff was super friendly and the establishment looked spotless. Not one sprinkle was out of place! The donuts were fresh and fluffy, the icing and toppings were smooth and still fresh (not hard). They had multiple cooler drink options and the prices were great considering size and quality! Can?t wait to go back for an Apple fritter, they were sold out by the time I reached the front.

Good stuff. Special treat. I came in for Boston creme. They were out of cinnamon rolls which I really wanted too but got a cinnamon twist and a apple fritter. apple fritter was great. Cinnamon twist was great and not hard but soft. It was huge! Our family shared them all (except Boston creme that was my after lunch treat). They are not cheap but inclined with similar places I believe. Almost $7.50 after tax for the three. I will be back. It was a happy donut day from donut star!

It was my first time in, and i loved it! The cashier was so nice and even let me try a glazed donut hole for free because i meant to get a glazed with my half dozen (but i got too excited with all the fun choices that i forgot to get a plain one). She definitely didn?t have to do that, and to me that was great customer service! The donuts are also great, i wish i would?ve gotten more. My favorite was definitely the m&ms chocolate glazed!

These donuts are fabulous! I?m not even a donut connoisseur, as I will only eat them on occasion but I?ve had these twice in the past month because of how delicious they are! Definitely worth a stop in if you?re in the Mooresville area.

Not only are their donuts incredibly tasty, their front counter worker always remembers my sister and I, making the trip in to pick out the goodness even more enjoyable!

I have been looking for true apple fritters and OMG I found the place, NC Donut Star. Recently I moved to Troutman and by chance I stopped by to buy some donuts. Every girl needs to get her sweet fix. When I looked at the donuts I looked at the woman I said are those apple fritters they look amazing. I've never understood some people's obsession with donuts. Although I enjoy a donut from time to time, they were always just a pretty tasty treat that I'd enjoy whenever I was in a work meeting and the company bought some dunkin donuts. NC Donut Star is on a different level. The donuts are fresh, delicious and massive! The fillings are unbelievable, and the prices are fair. This place totally changed what I think of when someone mentions donuts.

First time here, they were awesome! Helped us with picks and we're very friendly. Donuts are the best. Very airy and not over powering (on the selection we had)

We went after experiencing these delicious donuts after service at Riverlife in Mooresville. My family and I really enjoyed the whole experience. Looking forward to going again. You have got to try this treasure of a place.

Mom and pop doughnut shop with big delicious doughnuts. Will choose this over KK or DD any day. Thru have flavors you won't get at those chains. Dining area plain and sparse but I didn't plan on dining in anyway. Get in early or they may be sold out

I rarely bother with giving a review but for this donut I will. I do not say this lightly when I say this is the best donut I have EVER had. I had the cinnamon and sugar. YUM!

Thanks to a local review on Google I figured I'd give this place a try. So glad I did, the ordering options, variety of donuts, flavor, customer service and value were all above the bar of expectation and I couldn't be happier with the overall value!

Really yummy donuts made fresh every day! Staff is friendly and locally owned. The apple fritter, maple bacon and samoa donuts are my favorite! Plus you can get any filling you want! The cinnamon roll donuts are huge! Plus they had complimentary coffee that was deelish!

Best donuts around, hands down! If you don?t live on that side of town, it?s worth the drive. Fresh and perfectly fluffy every time. They will customize your filling too! My family?s absolute favorites are the apple fritter, toasted coconut, sugar raised, chocolate frosted and lemon filled.

I love jelly filled donuts. My husband wanted to surprise me with jelly filled donuts. They didn't have any but that didn't matter. The owner is so accommodating, she took two glazed donuts and filled them while my husband waited. They were delicious. Not surprising because all their donuts are superb. If you are looking for a donut that is so fresh you can eat more than one in one sitting go to NC Donut. You won't be disappointed.

Saw pic of donuts and thought I would try. All I can say is WOW! My glazed was still warm. Best glazed I had in many years. Way better than DD or KK and at a good price. Also got a filled donut. You pick the filling and they fill in when ordered. Small place with limited seating but a true donut shop.

Donuts are very fluffy and fresh. They don't use a lot of preservatives (which is good), so don't plan on the donuts lasting for more than about 2 days. One of the neat things they offer is the ability to pick a donut and have hit filled with whatever filling you want, right in front of you. Would HIGHLY recommend.

As someone who loves donuts, this place never disappoints. They have a great variety, a great regular glaze donut, and the service is always so friendly. Only negative for me is it isn't as close as to my house as I wish it was!

This is our go-to place for donuts in Mooresville. We?ve tried many other places but these are by far the best in town. They are HUGE, fresh and delicious and you can choose the filling for the donuts. One suggestion - since you can choose the filling, I often get a dozen with various fillings but when I get home, everyone asks me which ones are which and I can?t tell unless I take a bite first. Husband and wife team bake fresh every morning. They fill the donuts as you order and every filling I have tried is delicious. Their product is so fresh and tasty. I asked my guests to take some when leaving or I would have consumed them all. Worth the few dollars more. Better variety and value then buying a cake. People should support this quality mom and pop bakery and skip the big corporate stores.

Stopped in this afternoon at 2PM to pickup some donuts for my pregnant wife. Not only were they open, the donuts were extremely fresh! These were easily some of the best donuts I've had in a long time. We've tried the other donut shops around town, and these were hands down the best! I highly recommend!

Went on a Saturday morning with no expectations. I ordered the maple glaze with bacon, Bavarian Creme filled and a regular glazed. The best donuts I've ever had! They were so fresh and the staff was very friendly, I can't wait to go back!

As great as there donuts appear to be do you like your donuts with a side of hair ? Because I sure don?t- do you like taking a bite and pulling someone else?s hair out of your mouth? ?? not ONCE but TWICE now there has been someone else?s hair in my donut box.. Wearing just/only a hat in the front of the store does NOT prevent your hair from getting into the donuts or the case itself. When I called I got a stumbler apology like it was somehow acceptable. Definitely will not be back !!!!!!

The donuts were big, fresh, and yummy. The staff was friendly. The only downside was that they put surprisingly little filling in our jelly filled. Our family enjoyed this place and would recommend it.

Not gonna lie I been here a total of 2 times already and the People that work there are rude as hell and rush you you can tell that they never want to work there on a day of there lives at all. The donuts were all right but this is just how it was for me.
