Got to experience a Strawberry Cream Cheese King Cake for the first time. Came for a Lemon King Cake but they were already sold out. I have only had a Rouses Market King Cake before so from that to this one was no comparison in how fresh it was. 10/10 and got even better after day two as we stuck it in the fridge to stiffing up the strawberries/cream cheese filling and I would say that?s the trick!

ABSOLUTELY worth getting there when the door opens to get 2 King Cakes. 1 Bavarian Cream and 1 Strawberry Cream Cheese. Simply amazing, simply THE BEST. Getting them again in the coming weeks.

I had a slice from a friend and I really liked it so I wanted to purchase as a gift for someone, but the customer service was a letdown. Their kingCakes aren?t cheap so I expected a much friendlier atmosphere.I won?t be returning, but the king cakes are good.

I was charged over $16 for 2 Kolache?s and 2 Donuts?INSANE. The kolaches were cold and hard and extremely small. and the health department showed up for a surprise inspection as we were ordering and water was leaking from the ceiling and falling all over my fianc? at the register. The donuts were cute but tasted days old. i will not be wasting my money here ever again.

I had recently conceded to the fact that I just didn't like King Cake any longer. Being born and raised in Louisiana, that is almost a sin! I've passed by this bakery in Springfield many times and decided to try their King Cake today. It was delish. One of the best I've ever eaten. Not over powering with colored sugar. The dough was hands down the freshest and softest I've ever had and the strawberry cream cheese feeling was the bomb. Additionally, everyone was super friendly and made us feel very welcome and grateful for our patronage. I will definitely frequent this establishment more often!

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. My husband and I have both been coming here since high school and we can't get enough. Every single time we come into town, this is a priority! Today, they changed everything for us and meeting the man, the myth, the legend, Mr.Navarre himself! Such a phenomenal and fantastic experience. We will be back very soon, as always. Also during King Cake season they make the absolute best in my opinion! If you're running a little late for breakfast they are open for longer than other places I've been to so it's very forgiving lol Love this local gem

Country charm, nice people, awesome donuts. Listen, this isn't your corporate chain pastries, these are down home donuts. They aren't perfect cookie cutter donuts - put one in your mouth and you'll taste the difference. A must try if you're in town.

Super delicious and fresh king cakes, we had the blueberry cream cheese and oh my! It was so good. We'll definitely be going back to try the other flavors. It was well worth the 30 min drive from Madisonville.

I live in Georgia and was in Denham Springs for a family emergency last week, and my sister who lives there had ordered several King Cakes for her work. 2 were for home though~~~I have to say they were the B.E.S.T. King Cakes I've ever had!! The employees were VERY nice also,,,and I will definitely come back here on my next visit!!!!????

I remember eating donuts at the Chevron and they were excellent! My daughter lives in Killian La. and I live in Dallas Tx. She said Navarre's has the best King Cakes and to prove that, she sent one to us HERE IN DALLAS and it was THE VERY BEST I've ever had! My husband is from Dallas my 10 year old son was born here and neither have ever had King Cake.....the loved it too! It was also a treat for my other two boys as they were too young to remember King Cakes when we moved her. I highly recommend them.....i

Best donuts I have ever eaten. I wake up every morning wanting some of their donuts. It's the only place that I have ever gotten hot fresh donuts everytime I go. Not to mention they have the best king cakes in the world. Any flavor you could possibly think of. A must stop and eat place.

Guaranteed the best doughnuts you'll ever eat and if you're lucky enough to get one their famous KING CAKES.... I advise buying two. Mr. Ernie and Jules have built the recipe for the best king cakes in all of the Baton Rouge and New Orleans area.

Come here from Baton Rouge from time to time to have a nice scenic drive and enjoy a great breakfast plate and donut for a reasonable price. Add in the friendly staff and you have a perfect breakfast getaway destination! Couldn't ask for anything more. Also don't forget a king cake when they're in season!

Bought an excellent Bavarian King Cake!!!

If I could give this place no stars I absolutely would. My 14 yr old daughter was slaved by the owner here. Two years later and they have yet to pay her ONE CENT! They claimed they waited until king cake season was over to pay in full. She worked for a month without one dollar. We have waited long enough and are now moving along to necessary steps to ensure she will be paid. Child labor laws should be followed in this establishment. They purposely hire young girls to work without pay and should be ashamed.

My husband and I were not inpressed , we ordered the $ 4.99 breakfast it was in a hot plate deal everything was cold. The grits we're cold, the sausage and eggs were nasty. Now if you want to eat a good hot breakfast and made to order. Then go up turn on to LA 22 and go to TNT RESTURANT. Hot coffee and good delicious food.

Purchased from someone for a fundraiser and was very disappointed. It tasted liked a old dry loaf of French bread with some cheap icing from a can wiped over the top of it. Will never buy one from them again! Gag!

I've been eating there since before it was even called Navarre's Pastries. In the beginning, they prepared their doughnuts in the small kitchen area at the Cheveron next door. The quality has always stayed consistent and Jewels and his family have always been kind and welcoming. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Friendly and very good service. Hot coffee , good biscuits . lemon - poppy seed muffin may need little more lemon just touch , barely has hint (essence)of lemon flavor, but still really good!!

Absolutely horrible customer service especially for a first time customer. Drove from Bedico to stand inside for 30 minutes while they looked for a PLAIN king cake I ordered the day before. After 30 minutes of waiting for them to look for my king cake that they couldn?t find, I was told they aren?t selling anymore king cakes even if I ordered the day before.
