I paid for a tres leches cake for my wife two days before her birthday/ Mother?s Day. The day I purchased the gentlemen at the register was nice and even gave me a free donut with the cake. The very same day that I picked up the cake, we sang happy birthday. Once we cut the cake and took a bite we realized the cake was dry and the bottoms were burnt. We immediately took the cake back hoping to get our money back or at least a better cake, but we were told we could only get $20 back of the $40 we spent on t
I love their selections, but am obsessed with their tees leches! Every time I?m in the area i make it a priority to stop by to grab even just a slice; sometimes i may go out of my way just to grab some as it is that good! The staff are very friendly too, definitely recommend.
Okay just walking in the place smells amazing. The staff was all smiling extremely friendly and nice to all the guests in front of me. They were equally as nice to me and I can't wait to eat these beautiful pastries. The conchas truly look wonderful.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Tres leches is very very good, worth it to come here...seriously drove here now and grab some tres leches. Conchas are good, a little on the dry side but very good with some homemade chompurado. Bu?elos are very crunchy. A few seats and tables inside. Very good bakery and I will come back again.
This is the worst tres leches cake ice ever bought. The icing was HARD & super dry, definitely an old cake. The cake itself smelled and tasted like mayonnaise. I would not reccomend at all. I unfortunately spent over $50.
Called to order cookies for a large corp gathering. Heard good things from a referral. Called to ask a few questions first byt not speak English which I can work around, but my inquiry seemed to bother them and hung up due to communication barrier. I believe I was pleasant. Truly trying to support local. Also told I had to come to store to order, no ordering over the phone or online. I'll try but would be more motivated to do so with kindness and a remote interest in my order.
We were recommended this small cute bakery by some folks and were very impressed. I just sort of wish they had a place where they displayed their prices for the self serve area so we knew upfront what we were paying for.
Ordered a cake of tres leches with fresh strawberries. Super dry cake!!! Nothing like a tres leches cake! None of the milky cream you expect. There was only strawberries in the Middle of the cake? Absolutely no flavor. Worst 80 dollars spent. The bread was said to be fresh, but the conchas were stale and stiff. Your better off getting a cake at king soopers or Walmart. Never going back! Never suggest anyone come here and waste their money!
This rosca was super dry and clearly overcooked. Saddest rosca i have ever had. Not worth $39 , and only had one toy baby and normally a large has at least 4. I should have asked for a refund and gone to the other bakery in cos.. the cakes in the fridge super old. The icing on cakes is cracking so they cant be fresh.
Picked up some delicious bread from Nana?s Bakery today. We have purchase from them before and their bread is always fresh and delicious. Not to mention their staff is very welcoming. Today I picked up a larger order for an event and they even helped me out to my car with my order. Definitely recommend you giving them a try.
Ordered for our mom and she loved it. The cakes design is so pretty, the pink was perfect!! and they split the cake half chocolate and half vanilla just like she wanted. It tasted so good that they already finished the cake and it?s only been a day lol!! Gracias nanas bakery!!
Went there yesterday to get a last minute birthday cake and it was sooooo good!!! Everything was was made so well, thank you Nana's :))
We enjoyed everything we picked up! The tres leches was delicious!
Any Special Events we alway get tres leaches cakes are always fresh and taste so good!
This bakery is an ethnic treasure. The pan de juevo, cochinitos, tres leches cake and tamales are truly authentic Mexican bread. Bread always fresh and Oscar the owner is super friendly. A must try.
So good the tresleches cake is amazing so were the rest of the treats we got and the tamales ?? the people r so super nice I will definitely be back
I love this little bakery! The lady was always so nice to my kid. Great pastries, breads and so much more
I love this place!!!!!! Best conchas/ pan de dulce in the springs ?? Just picked up Rosca de Reyes for Jan 6!
I went to get Mexican pastries to take to my family hours away from here bc I always get the best in town but this last time I was so disappointed and embarrassed at the same time thinking we will be enjoying this delicious bread altogether But it was old very old it tasted already rotten the filling Plus it was hard I couldn?t believe I wasted my time and money plus I wasn?t proud of it as I used to If your bread doesn?t sell give it away asap or throw it away please don?t try to make money out of your tra
I googled for a bakery near me so I didn?t know what kind of products they served until I arrived. These were pastries I?ve never seen/heard of before so I asked for help and the employee barely understood English and asked if I spoke Spanish. So, it was difficult to get the assistance I needed. I ended up purchasing 3 pastry balls (again I have no clue what they?re called) and they were VERY dry! It had a cake center so should have been more moist but I had to drink 2 glasses of milk just to eat one bec
I went to get a Tres leches cake and I found out there was money taken out of my account that was fraudulent, one of the sweet ladies there paid for my cake and a drink I got and told me not to worry about it. I walked away crying in relief and I am so very thankful for all their kind hearts!
I stopped going to this bakery. They do not have the price posted on the bake goods, and every time I came by, I was charged whatever they wanted to charge. It became pretty expensive just to pick up a few things.
So disappointed with the results of our cake this weekend! There was several things wrong with our cake. The cake was supposed to be a leche cake, but it was dry! Second the cake had no filling in it! The cake was not decorated like they usually do. We buy our cakes here for every occasion. We called to discuss our disappointment and they did not seem to care or try to make things right! We will no longer be ordering our cakes from here nor recommend them to friends or family!
I was welcomed immediately. The place was clean and there was a lot of conchas even for being the end of the day. Went home and the conchas were soft and flavorful. Definitely worth stopping by.
This used to be my favorite place to get cakes for parties. The flavor was great, the staff friendly, and willing to take on any design. Now: staff is rude, the owner seems always stressed. Which I get since there seems to be a lot of people nowadays, but she is always on edge and rude. She used to give me discount (which I never asked for) but I appreciated it. Because I used to get cakes often. For our family and friend's parties. Now, she gets mad to see me. Like I will ASK for a discount. Which I don't
The best Mexican bakery in town. I have taken their pastries to many functions and people all Ways want to know where I got them. They are amazing.
Everything looked great it was hard to not try one of everything. Can't beat the price either. Then I find out they have tamales too, pork was really good and huge too. Awesome value and Awesome flavors with friendly customer service as well
Very amazing little bakery, with what I would venture to guess from the very alluring aroma of the whole business were fresh baked goods. We bought 5 (very delicious!) baked goods which came to only $4.99 at the register. We did originally go to the shop for kolaches and although the shop does not have any, the gentleman who was working that day suggested a couple of local businesses that had breakfast burritos and the like for us to try. I will definitely be going there again!
Love this place. Clean shop, staff is super nice and the desserts are what I remember from my childhood. I always send my local friends here!
Every year I order my daughter?s birthday cake in this place? but I guess this year I won?t You need to train your employees on how to attend your customers.. when I went, there was a lady that look at me so bad.. she talk to me in a bad mood, she was super mad, she never take my order she was doing closing/other tasks and it was 7:00pm she just ignored me?you need to be humble!!
Stopped in because I heard they have the best Tres Leches cakes, and was not disappointed! It is delicious. We also picked up a few other treats to try. Will definitely go back.
Love it! My Nana passed away 7 years ago, all of us make her tamales and rice & beans. Tonight I made rice and beans and picked up the tamales from here, they were great! No olive in the middle like my nana used to make but delicious. I also picked up a ton of breads and they were amazing as well.
Ordered a cake three days ahead for a birthday. Wasn't ready when I got there, so they quickly did an bad job trying to finish it. Mind you, they gave us the time when it'll be finished so it's their fault for giving us a bad cake. Bread is good though so I'll give them that. Just don't custom order cake here.
We just moved to Colorado Springs a couple of months ago. I started looking for a Maxican style bakery, the one's I found were not up to par. Some were dirty and others had bad customer service. I then found Na Na's Bakery, I have read the other reviews posted here and I had a totally different experience. The lady in the front was friendly, and a gentleman who I believe is the Baker was also very friendly. I'm Hispanic but I don't look Hispanic, my wife is of Irish descent, I spoke to the lady in English
We've ordered cakes from here every single holiday and birthday. It's disappointing that the more we order cakes the more they let us down. Today was my brother's birthday and we had wanted a shark cake they couldn't do fondant so they improvised and used a picture of a shark. The picture is so poorly cut out and washed out. For $50 we were expecting just a little more effort. That's the last time we ever order from there.
Incredibly friendly and helpful people. The pastries that my son and I sampled here were lovely.
Always friendly service! Have been coming for years.. Best pork tamales, ( Chicken so,so ??). Today a bit salty and hardly any meat, just might be an off day... I'll definitely be back! ?? Their Tres Leches always delicious! ??
I read the reviews before prior to shopping here and all can say is that a lot of these negative reviews that complain about the dryness of the pastries are bias. These negative reviews only show the ignorance of theses shoppers. Traditionally most of Mexican pastries are dryer than others. Unless its a tres Leche cake, which is soggy and sweet. These culturally insensitive ignorant reviews are exhausting. If you enjoy traditional Mexican pastries than shop here. Just ignore these entitled negative reviews.
Absolutely the best Mexican panaderia I?ve ever found in Colorado Springs!! Endless homemade pastries, tres leche cakes, flan, and more! They also sell tamales and bread on it?s own. Amazing prices, amazing food, amazing people! (They accept credit and cash; and also are fluent in both Spanish and English if you?re worried ??)
Stopped in for a treat and the flan was delicious, it was not too sweet like a grocery store product.
I was so happy to find Nana's Bakery! A friend said he had bought Tres Leches cakes there and they were delicious, he was right I ordered one picked up the next day and it was amazing! Will order a birthday cake now and hope it is a delicious!
Simple and very affordable pastries. Limited experience with Mexican bakery so hard to comment much. Fair bit of sugar but not too crazy. Definitely has it's niche customers.
Great food! Great service!
We went to order a cake on Friday and talked to one of the employees about ordering a cake and at that time, they couldn't even give me an estimate on how much it would cost. The baker was not in and we were told to send her a picture of the cake, which we did and left our number. We never received a call back. We then contacted Nana's bakery and asked for the woman who would be making the cake and was told she was going to be leaving. We told them we were almost there if she could wait a few more minutes.
Delicious bakery goods. My wife bought me tres leches from here and it was superb i gained a few pounds from it. Their tamales are delicious as well.
No English, but that's ok. Grab a tray with some tissues to put the goods on, grab some tongs, grab some delicious pastries. They'll bag it up when you bring the trey over. We got like five pastries and spent less than 6 bucks. Bring cash to tip these wonderful bakers.
The aroma of the freshly baked bread penetrated my nostrils as I entered the establishment. It took me back to Mexicali Baja California. Feels wonderful to get a taste from home. Definitely returning...
I ordered my daughter's cake the same day of the party and they had it ready in the afternoon. And it was delicious, well-decorated, perfect! I absolutely recommend this bakery!
Highly recommended. The pastries and tamales are delicious.
We went later in the day and their was no bread. The service was no good. I'm from cali we have panedeias everywhere and also have bread fresh and ready. We were disappointed.
They refused to even talk to us. They stood there laughing, they should LEARN HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS! Aprendan como se tratan los clientes.
Go inside, get some pastries for 75? each(deal)...best tamales near galley/circle hands down(6 tamales for $7) I suggest pork...traditional flan and that cake type that's like milky, super good..and don't worry no matter how much you may or may not like or accept brown people, brown people will always accept you ;)
This place has some of the most amazing pastry treats in the Springs. Thank you all for your continued service!
Walked in. Wasn't really greeted. Place looked clean. Their assortment of baked goods was a little lacking. Had the pineapple empanada, it was eh. Taste like they just took canned filling and put in bread.
We love Nana's BakeryThe baked goods are fresh and delicious. The staff is always kind and helpful. The tamales are amazing????
The prices are great but pastries are really dry. The staff need to improve their costumer service skills. It looks like this bakery is geared toward Hispanic community. It feels like if you're not Hispanic then you're not welcome there.
I asked for the cake to to be in the colors pink and gold and they gave me the cake in purple and white nothing to do with what I had asked and they still checked the paper they wrote the order in and it said pink and gold. This is the 3rd time I have ordered a cake and they have messed up my order another time I asked for a desighn and they gave me a completely different one and another time I spelled out my sons name because everyone always misspell it and they still mispelled his name. I?m sad to say I
I had a delicious filled puff pastry. Would recommend Nana's. Price was reasonable for our economy.
Friendly staff and EBT card friendly! Their selection is a bit limited but everything is so tasty and I highly recommend the empanadas and the churros!
Found this because our usual bakery is closed on Sundays and we completely forgot. Everything we got here was delicious and the price was amazing. We will definitely be back!
Friendly service, and soft fluffy conchas. This is my new favorite panader?a in town. I wish they had orejas but maybe they cycle their pastries!!
The staff was incredibly helpful. The conchas were very good. My only complaint was there wasn't as many selections to choose from as most of the other panadrias I go to.
Great quality, strawberry cake was delicious. Gave me exactly what I wanted. This place just gained a loyal customer.
Tres leches lacked flavor and was quite simple. I cannot recommend it.
I love their Tres Leches it's the perfect mix of nice moisture without being overly soggy. I always grab cookies there. The staff is always nice and attentive.
Stopped by to try the cookies. Absolutely delicious. The wedding cookies are so light and delicious. I'll be coming back for more and we are going to use some of their cookies at our wedding.
Exceptional pastry and amazing trece leche or is it two leche, ,lol, cakes and desserts plus bread, milk and such My fav treat stop PLUS the cashier is real easy on the eyes. Gracias Bonita!.
this my favorite bakery,i have it every time. I can it has wonderful deserts. IF at all possible, try it you will be happy!!!
Place is great! Good selection as well as a bunch of Hispanic foods Tre leche cake and some other stuff ! Also it's super cheap !
Great place to get fresh baked goods. I?ve known the bakers for a long time. They also have locations in Pueblo. They bake every day can?t get better than that.
Please add a tip option for card transactions. Very good stuff here!
Best conchas since I've been to Mexico . Some were dryer than others but nothing warming them up couldnt fix. ???
Good customer service, this is the only bakery (I've seen) that has fresh dulce de leche. The pastry was very good.
I bought a DELICIOUS chocolate cake topped with flan here. This is definitely the bakery I'll be going to from now on.
They make the best Pumpkin Empanadas and Wedding Cookies! The staff are very friendly. I love this bakery!
I was just told Noone at this place speaks English. So I couldn't put in a pretty big order. Definitely will never go to this place.
This is the best place I've seen that has the greatest selection of Mexican sweet bread. Always fresh.
This Place deserves a zero on a Thursday night around 7:40 we went to order a cake for Saturday first of all the door was locked the door says they close at 8 so we knock the lady open she was so rude she was mad because we were there we were explaining her what kind of cake we wanted and what we wanted on the cake and how we wanted it so supposedly she was writing when I was telling her and we paid a whole cake before we left and I even repeat myself several times what we wanted on the cake on the day we w
The staff is amazing...the Mexican bread is fabulous. There cakes are beautiful and taste phenomenal.
Waited too long to see if they can bake a birthday cake. really simple design by the way I had to wait until she was done taking care of everyone to tell me no
The people were very polite, courteous, and friendly. The flan? Not so much. 2/10 flan... Cookies were amazing tho
Delicious with great prices! We loved everything we tried and plan to go back again to try even more. :) YUM!
Great people with amazing pastries! Give it a try and will love it for sure.
I'm not going to lie, the bread smelled really fresh when we walked in but they didn't have what we were looking for. Wish they had more variety.
We ordered a Jurassic park cake, and it came out looking like a damn rainbow! Not worth the $57 we paid for it at all
Pan dulce is incredible, as well as the cakes, like the one covered in a layer of chocolate topped with glazed strawberries! Yeah baby!
We love Nana's Bakery. It is the best place in town to get Mexican pan Dulce!!!
Great service and exquisite variety of bread, highly recommended.......Exquisito y sabroso pan.
