Muriel makes my day each time I visit. Always friendly and happy. Donuts are simply amazing. Perfect golden brown and slightly crunchy outside with a soft fluffy inside. I'm partial to the jelly sticks. Can't go wrong here. A local gem!

These are some of the best doughnuts in the area. Delicious old fashion style doughnuts that are very tasty. It?s about $9 for a dozen and they are just so good. A nice little store front where you can see all the production in action. The staff are as friendly as can be what a great little local spot!

These may not be the best doughnuts out there but they are fantastic for the price. We got one of each of the varieties (they have 6). The plan ring and the plain bar are the same donut in different shapes, same for the sugars, and all four are ones that can be passed on. The two you should try are the jelly and the cinnamon sugar, these two are quite tasty for different reasons. Btw you will need a glass of milk to accompany any of these bad boys.

Upon visiting some friends in New Hampshire, I was told that we could not miss Muriel's Donuts. They shared a story about how Muriel and her husband ran the business together for years, and when Muriel finally retired after her husband's death, the town begged her to return to make donuts. The donuts were delicious. We ordered a half dozen of cinnamon sugar and a half dozen of plain. The shop was adorable, but it's Muriel that warms the heart the most. I wish I could visit her and her donuts weekly!

What can you say? If you are age 55 plus then you probably remember donuts before Dunkin killed off the small shops. These are crunchy, flavorful and WARM when you buy them! Simply the best!

THE WORLD?S BEST DONUTS!!!!! These donuts bring back memories of my childhood. They are old fashioned homemade goodness. My Dad would stop there after plowing and get these fresh hot munchies of yummyness. We would eat them with maple syrup. Pure decadence. This is a NH hidden treasure.

This donut shop has been around since long before I walked this earth. Inside, there are articles printed and posted on the wall saying that this is the ?last true donut shop in New Hampshire?. Not only is that true, but these are the best donuts I?ve ever had! And Muriel, the sweetest shop owner you?ll ever meet, puts her heart and joy into making these delicious treats. Travelers, do not pass by Lebanon without stopping here (and don?t forget cash)! This shop is a bucket list must for all!

This is as authentic as it gets. Muriel makes every doughnut and cruller by hand. She?s a joy to meet. Affordable y delicioso! Crunchy, sweet, and soft at the same time.

Great donuts!! These are crisp and light, not overly sweet, easy to eat 6 without feeling guilty! Plus, they're also a great bang for the buck. Definitely try them!!

What can you say. A Lebanon icon that has been in business for many years. Donuts are homemade by Muriel and her son. Possibly the best jelly sticks made. A dozen (or two) of these never make it home intact. We travel 45 minutes to get these. Parking is a limited (please do not block the neighbors driveway) and she sometimes runs out so try to get there early. You will not be disappointed.

One of the best donut places in NH if you set your expectations right. The donuts are old-fashioned in the best way. Ingredients seem minimal, fried in lard (yay no seed oil), not much variety. The crispiness is awesome. I really grew to love the jelly sticks, and usually not into jelly donuts. Excellent price. Cash only.

Muriel (if that's her selling the donuts) is super nice. Very pleasant to talk to. Donuts are great, fried perfectly to just a little crisp on certain parts of the outside. They're all cake donuts. I love that they're not too sweet. The cruller is my favorite, I think the jelly one could use more jelly.

I lived in Lebanon for 2 years, dangerously close to Muriel?s, they are to this day the best donuts I?ve ever eaten. Just stopped by on a visit and haven?t changed my mind.

Though we got to Muriel's when they were getting ready go close, she was very gracious and accommodating. Her homemade, old fashioned doughnuts were delicious and freshly made. My kids loved their cake doughnuts and my jelly stick was just the right amount of sweet and golden brown on the outside. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Muriel is so sweet herself and she's been making these delicious homemade donuts for 50 years! It's a hidden gem not far from the Lebanon Green on Granite Street. So worth a visit...or several visits!

These may be the best donuts I have ever eaten! We were doing a Google search, seeking cider donuts on a fast trip through New England, and saw that Muriel's was highly rated. No cider donuts here, but our disappointment lasted all of 15 seconds. As soon as I tasted my first donut, I immediately regretted only buying a half dozen for the two of us. Muriel's is a must for the next time I am in the area!

I don't get here often enough. I absolutely love the jelly filled sticks! If you haven't had a chance to walk in & order do yourself a favor & make that dream come true! The donuts in the store are great but there is nothing like getting them fresh.

We visited Muriel and her donut shop today. Drove from Nashua, NH and it was so worth the trip. Donuts and we tried all kinds were delicious and Muriel is delightful. Beautiful drive with some foliage still showing and we would recommend the drive for the donut reward at the end.

This is what everyone should come to expect an old fashioned donut should taste like. Fresh out of the fryer, sprinkled with sugar, and consumed while still warm. DELICIOUS. They absolutely melt in your mouth. Muriel is also the cutest little old lady you've ever seen. Spunky for sure. The place is a little hidden gem, so is a little hard to find. But well worth the search.

The most old school of old school donut shops. Come and see 85 year old Muriel turning crullers in the fryer with her wooden dowel as she has for decades. Stay for the crispy crunchy basic donuts. Be forewarned: no tables, no chairs, no credit cards, no coffee.

Worst donuts we have ever had. This may have been a bad day when we tried this shop so I will admit we never went back. That said the donuts were so grease laden and tasteless that a trip to Dunkins is a five star experience compared to these. We tried them and threw the majority out as being inedible. Hope your experience is better but if you go ask to try before you buy

Muriel is a local treasure that Lebanon is lucky to have. She has perfected the classic donut and is incredibly kind as generous.

I flew up from the Midwest after hearing about these donuts from a friend in Hanover. It was money well spent. Muriel makes donuts the way my grandmother made them: tasty cake batter deep fried in lard and then shaken with cinnamon sugar while still hot. Drive right on past your nearest Sunken Donuts and get to Muriel's. You'll never eat anything else ever again!

Their fresh homemade sugar coated traditional donut is the best! Warm, melt in your mouth and sweet tooth satisfying, and also is plenty to fill you up for breakfast. Better than Krispie Kreme & Dunk in Donuts, their donuts do not compare. I just wish they were open more often to cook them fresh for you as you walk in. ?? Yummy!

Excellent donuts. Not likely vegetarian friendly, I think they must use lard or maybe a touch of bacon grease in the oil, it has that kind of flavor although I could be completely wrong. Anyway the donuts are delish and fresh and perfect and the owners are lovely people.

I used to visit this place as far back as 1990 and the memory of these doughnuts has stuck with me ever since. I moved away from the Upper Valley in 1992 but finally made it back last week. I was so happy to see that it's still open and the doughnuts are as delicious as I remember. They've really ruined all other doughnuts for me in the world. It's been nearly 30 years since I first had a doughnut from here and I have yet to taste anything close.

Muriel makes the best donuts ever. I've made the 1.5 hour trip (one way), just to taste the pure deliciousness. She is a national treasure.

Best doughnuts in Leb. Cheaper then dunkin and WAY better quality. Can't get them any better then a good ol'fasion homemade doughnut. Soft inside with a nice crispy like crust on the outside. Muriel always has a smile on her face and is a very sweet and lovable lady who can make your day. Stop by and say hi to her and get your self a great breakfast. (All you can buy is her doughnuts, no other food or drink items)...but dont let that be the reason for you not to stop by.
