Every day stop for the Sentinel Inspection company to pick up donuts, pig in a blanket, porkie pigs. One to two dozen of the best donuts in town. Very friendly staff. Quick service.
The drive thru today was fairly log. Wrapped around the building and out in 7th. Lots of customers. At our turn it went fast. They were out of sprinkle donuts except chocolate, so we went with glazed. Pigs were great as usual.
Mullen's donuts have the absolute best donuts. This hometown breakfast stop has served their wonderful, warm, sugary donuts to generations in the Bay City community. I remember going with my grandparents on Sunday morning before church and I have had the joy of taking my own children.
Mullen's Donuts make some of the very best donuts and kolaches anywhere, I kid you not. Here in Bay City, their donuts, apple fritters, and the incredible pigs in a blanket ("pigs" ??) Are the stuff of Legends. They are so incredibly good, you simply must try them. The donuts themselves are also incredibly good, always perfectly fresh and often still warm. Also, the apple fritters ..... ?? Thank you Mullen's, for doing what you do!
One of the best donuts store. The donuts are light, fluffy and well priced. The staff are happy which adds to the frequency of the donuts.
Donuts are good. I used to like their jalape?o pigs, but sausage seems to be less flavorful my last couple visits.
The best donuts ever! Tastes like home. I've gone to several other donut shops around the state and it all pales in comparison to what Mullen cooks up. I always come here when I come home to Bay City!
It has taken 49 years to find the absolute best donuts. Had the perfect jalape?o sausage kolache and the a decadent maple glazed. Service was outstanding. If you are ever in the area, it?s worth the visit. It was great meet the owners Bud and Cliff!
Donuts are cold sometimes, and I do not like when they put them on a microwave! Ruins the Donuts. Compared to other places around here, they are still the best!
Coffee was good. I think the apple fritter was delicious and fresh. The indoor seating pretty basic.
Stopped in going through town and was very pleasantly surprised. Donuts and Danish were excellent and the service was exceptional. Had a great dialogue with the counter lady while she got my order. Highly recommend.

Moved here from Indianapolis and looking for a donut place to surpass Long's Donuts. This is NOT IT! No menu posted for their drive-thru, can't even tell they have a drive-thru. The ladies were nice, I really wanted a couple of caramel or maple iced cream-filled, not Bavarian, long johns, but they only had chocolate, and unfortunately, I'm not real big on chocolate and then they had plain cream filled, which honestly didn't sound good so I passed. Not being sure what else they offered, I opted for a half-do

We come to mullins donuts for the pigs, here lately the sausage is cut so small. Your getting mostly bread. The ladies up front are great, but if this is there new quality then there are more donuts shops in baycity...
The girl at the counter seemed like she would rather had been anywhere else than where she was. Donuts are good and reasonably priced unlike many you find anymore.

The coffee taste bad, watered down and almost tasteless, and they don't know how to make a traditional kolaches, definitely a different experience. Service was fast and easy, how ever the food and coffee just didn't do it for me, also no drive through menu. Very awkward welcome.
Over $9 a dozen and were not as fresh as usual. The hot plain ones had an off taste... it was a bit disappointing but will give them another try, as they are usually much better. Perhaps an off day, we all have them. ????
The sausage kolaches are not my cup of tea. I'm picky when it comes to the type of sausage used though so I will be trying them again but will order something new. Service was great so I'll be back.

I came in during the afternoon. I was able to get some fresh donuts even if the selection was less because of not being the AM. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there was nothing to send it it over the top. I was worried that the coffee would taste burned but it did not. They have a regular coffee but it was a good tasting decent cup.
The donuts were fresh out of the oven! Light, fluffy, and just the right amount of glaze. They were almost better than Krispy Kreme.
We absolutely love this place. We've always managed to get there when they're really busy but there's never a very long wait. Their baked goods have lots of flavor.
My donuts were delicious the apple fritter is to die for. Mmm it actually has an inside DELICIOUS, GOOIE, apple filling. Most of the these I?ve had in the past don?t have any kind of feeling. These were delicious my only complaint is I didn?t tell them I forgot that I have it heated up a little bit. We also had a chocolate eclair which was delicious they still both ends so you get lots of good stuff in the middle.
Some of the best doughnuts I've ever had. The standard glazed is delicious, but try the devil's food if you fancy chocolate. Family owned and operated. If they have pickles, pick up a jar!
Great tasting donuts, with a huge selection to choose from. Cleanest donut shop ive ever seen. Friendly staff ready to help. Coffee is alright. Totally recommend stopping in; "you deserve a donut."
Food is still good. Changed over the last 15 years I suppose. For those who are yearning for the pigs in a blanket from the 2005ish era I?m afraid it?s true what they say, you can never go home, cause things change. If you liked the grease fraid it ain?t greasy enough no more. Mostly dry bread. I took some photos so you could see, I?ll try to upload them.
Best doughnut shop in Texas, possibly the world. I hear their doughnuts don't even have calories; they're virtually health food! ?? Have one of whatever they have hot up until about 9:00AM. Family owned and a great community supporter.
Google search said open until 5:30pm and got here at 5pm and they were closed. Drove from Austin headed to Sargent knowing we would make it on time. Change your hours on Google search.
Absolutely Amazing. Glad they stuck to their guns against Shipley?s. They wanted them to drop signature menu items to comply with Shipley?s. NOT. After so many years, they drop the name and Mullen?s continues to be the best Donut shop in town.

If you're looking for some awesome pig in a blanket,then Mullen's Do-Nuts is where they are at. Need to try their breakfast combo it is full of eggs, sausage and of course you need the cheese which makes them taste great, just try both if you're hungry.
Mullens Donuts has a great local following. Our family favorites are the pigs in a blanket & the Big Cheese (approx 6 in link sausage and cheese wrapped in yeast dough) my personal favorite, plain cake donuts, seem to be in high demand, and aren't always available.
First time there! It was amazing! They helped me right away and had everything I wanted. Probably the best chocolate doughnut I've ever had. Oh! And the prices are very affordable!

First impression was a comfortable small town shop with very personable employees, you don't get the big name brand feeling when you walk in. Employees were very helpful and the food was fresh and delicious.

If I could give this place half of a star I would! Me and my family were on vacation and went in for breakfast. The staff was VERY rude and the food was horrible 3/4 of it went in the trash! I do not recommend this place to anyone.
The best donuts in town. It used to be Shiply's donuts but their changed their name recently. The staff is always very nice and the donuts taste good for a city like here.
Doughnuts no longer have good glaze...and they are now heavy like cake doughnuts. Will never go back. Its awful. Losing Shipleys glaze and airy doughnuts was a big mistake!

Very clean! The donuts were all fresh! And you get a huge cinnamon twist for $1.20! We divided it between two people!
Not the same as like when they were Shipleys the donuts were dense and the pigs in a blanket had more bread than sausage and it wasnt a very good quality sausage like when they used to be Shipleys very upsetting!!
Everyone has told me how good this place is but the website doesn't work and there is no drive through menu how am I supposed to know what to order when I can't go inside
