The people was so patient with me while I chose my flavors and very kind. The croissant donut was absolutely amazing, definitely a must try and in my top 5 favorites.
Everything was great. And I?m sure the donuts are just as good. I haven?t tried them yet as I bought them for my staff to show them how much I appreciate them. So with that being said that is literally the only thing that applaud me coming into your business. A trainee took my order. So polite and was doing outstanding. However, the older lady training that said person was just nasty. The way she trained and talked down to your staff was gross and should not be allowed. To borderline chastise them like that
The croissant donut will always be a showstopper. However the other donuts I got did not taste much better than what I could get at Safeway. Came in at 5 am sharp and expected fresh donuts and I'm pretty sure mine were at least a day old. Still not bad donuts, but for the price and reputation I expected much better.
I have gone to Mr. Yo's multiple times and been happy with my order each time. This time I got the glazed donuts for a work event. Three dozen donuts and all were consistent and taste quality and ability to disappear at a work event. Easy parking and quick in and out with my order. Multiple people working at 7:00 a.m. to take care of customers. I will go back again. Enjoy!
I own Kaizen Karate & Self-Defense in Windsor (down the street from Mr. Yo?s). I have known the staff at Mr. Yo?s donuts for 11 years ? Janice and Patricia are fantastic. I get donuts regularly for some of our events, and our karate kids love them! Mr. Yo?s also make some great breakfast ham and egg sandwiches. Mr. Yo?s is the best! ????
These donuts my husband and I both agreed were better than Lamars. They were soft and fresh. I liked the plain glaze. I feel like you can really tell a donut spot by their plain glaze. Croissant glazed was fun and i enjoyed that one as well. The apple fritter was too sweet for my liking. I like when the apple chunks still taste like apple not just cinnamon sugar. Very small selection at 11am.
Im not one to typically leave reviews. But my kids worked hard to earn a "donut day" and my wife decided to take them in this morning before school. They were so excited until JANICE made them so uncomfortable my oldest didn't want to get a donut anymore. He was looking at all the options and she had zero patients with him. Janice also told my wife she had to take our youngest out of the store because he didn't have shoes on. (My wife was holding him in her arms and he is a year and a half and just woke up.
Disappointed! I hadn't had an Apple Fritter in a few years, so I decided to try one here at 8:00 a.m.. What I got was a small, hard, flat, overcooked and overpriced pastry. Maybe it's due to Bidenomics, but $3.09 for that sugary "rock" was really a huge disappointment. By far, the worst apple fritter I've ever had. Even worse than Dunkin. I used to get them at Winchell's Donuts in Longmont, and they were huge, fresh, soft and practically a meal in themselves - enough of a treat for two people to eat and be
Super team work!! These gals have the best communication i ever did see as a team, working together fast an efficiently, saying please an thanks to each other as well as thier clients, so nice to see such great team work. An politeness in a business
Fresh and Delicious donuts! Don't let the line scare you. It is a testament to the quality of this donut shop and we'll worth it. Store is open for Drive thru but you can place an order and pickup in lobby. Lobby is not open for ordering, only for pickup. This is one of our favorite local spots for donuts. You need to be here early to be sure they will have want you are wanting. They sell out fast! High demand!
Grabbed a dozen this morning at 6 am. The two ladies there were very nice and helpful. The Donuts were delicious ??
Disappointing. The apple fritter was flat as a pancake and burnt. There is really no good excuse to serve this to a customer. It should have ended up in the bin, because that's where it ended up after two bites. Glazed donuts are on par with Walmart bakery donuts. That's not necessarily a bad thing but charging twice as much as Walmart isn't a good thing. Other assorted donuts were okay. Too expensive for the quality. I'll give them another try sometime, and if I have a better experience, I'll update my
The best donuts in northern Colorado. With Mr. Donut in Johnstown coming in a close second. Their donuts are airy and crispy. Exactly what a donut should be. Not heavy and doughy. Their glaze is also perfect, not too sweet or runny. My favorite part of eating there is getting there early and grabbing a slightly warm donut that is crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth in the inside. Also, their prices are reasonable. Always a plus!!!
Best donut holes I?ve ever had. Sells out quick because they are so good so get there early!
Donuts were good, wait was almost none, but the staff at the register were not particularly pleasant or patient with me in deciding what I wanted. The cost is a little below average for donut places. Has a drive thru
I need to start getting up earlier so that this super popular donut shop isn't sold out or about sold out when I get there. As a tip I was told to call in the morning and they'd hold my order so I could get it a bit later. They fill the filled donuts white you are there. Great products. They use good ingredients. Nothing like the ones from the grocery store. Try the croissant donut!!!
I almost didn't post this because I didn't want to share my secret! The croissant donut is the best thing to ever happen to me. I'm trying to wean myself down to one a week but it's hard. I could literally eat this every single day. It's light, fluffy, with perfect layers. The glaze isn't too sweet and sticky and it's nicely coated. It comes plain which is my favorite, but you can stuff them with Bavarian cream, vanilla or Raspberry filling. GO RIGHT NOW. You won't be disappointed. But go early because they
Best donuts in Northern Colorado hands down. Right in the middle of Windsor. Get there early because the favs can go really quick. They have a great drive through to keep ya covid safe. I?ve tried all the donuts and they are all fantastic.
Janice makes my day when I get my donuts! She is always friendly and helpful and the donuts are fresh and delicious!
My most recent visit wasn?t so great. The croissant donut was over fried and taste burnt. The long John?s that we had cream filled hardly had any filling at all and were hard around the edges. Everything tasted stale. The mature woman that?s the manager is still very rude and was hollering for a helper in the back instead of just going back and getting help. She is very condescending. $28.00 for a dozen donuts and half of them went in the garbage.
Service by the older woman was not pleasant. No hello or welcome. She was grumpy when she explained to us that there are regulations on where we could move tables around to fit our party of five. Donuts were okay. We purchased the most basic ones and they were about $2 each. We came around the 9:00 hour and the donuts were just okay.
Not bad. Exactly what you would hope for for a hole in the wall donut shop. Hard to beat these.
Some of the worst donuts I've ever had! Overpriced and Old - 6 Donuts and a dozen holes for $17 and they are from yesterday! Dry, tasteless and dense. Not what you expect and pay for at 8am on a Saturday morning out with the family!
I visited Mr. Yos today excited to pick up some delicious donuts and some of their famous ?Cronuts? for a lunch date with my Aunt later! What I was not expecting was this to be my last visit, as I was treated so terribly by the owner that I drove home in tears. The owner, an older lady, could not even attempt to hide her impatience with me as I asked a simple question to the cashier of whether they were able to split my half dozen donuts into two boxes rather than putting them all in one. Once the owner fin
When they have donuts they are great! We?ve tried multiple times to come between 7:30 and 8 to get donuts and they are closed. The kids get really excited for the donut shop, then when we show up they are closed it?s super disappointing. They need to plan to make more donuts on Friday?s and Saturday. It?s so hard getting littles going in the morning to be there earlier enough to get them. If you post hours til noon, you need to be open til noon. Not close at 7 am or 7:30.
Great donuts selection and friendly staff.
Had a possibly glazed donut, cinnamon roll, and croissant. Rarely do they have everything avaliable in stocks. Almost 3 dollars each and I can confidently say I had better donuts from the Rescue Mission in Fort Collins. Not worth the calories Edit: forgot to mention my glazed donut had black spots on the underside. Not going to speculate a while lot but it very well could have been mold If you check the Public Health Recods you will see they have never had an Inspection Not yet anyhow
The best donuts in Northern Colorado! I always run through the drive through when we have guests and when the kids are home from college. Get there early.
This is an easy stop to grab breakfast for my team when I?m in Windsor. They have a drive thru (huge bonus) and they are quick. There are TONS of options, and everything I have tried here is great.
If you?re looking for the best donuts in northern Colorado, this is it! We?ve literally tried em all. It?s quite the drive for us but so worth it. They?re not too sweet, don?t leave that nasty coating in your mouth and just taste like real donuts. I?m eating a Lamar donut as I?m writing this, they?re so so bad they sure make you appreciate Mr. Yo?s a whole lot more.
Gotta say these are the best donuts in Fort Collins! They arent just a donut with a fancy candy topping, they actually cook them to perfection! The creme brulee long john is so good. I hope to one day get there before the red velvet cake donuts sell out so I can finally try one!
The older lady was kinda rude (twice)and not customer friendly at all. Seemed to be bothered and not a lot of variety of donuts. Owner's response: Sorry, hope you have a pleasant experience next time. Well, this is definitely not helpful at all. As stated on review this is the 2nd time we go and older lady is so rude, how can owner expects us to go back? What is the owner doing to fix this? Is "owner" talking and training this older lady to treat the customers right? Nope, "owner" didn't say that. N
If you want any selection of donuts here you legitimately have the be there the moment it opens in order to choose from the 2 dozen donuts they make for the day. It feels as though this place is a hobby location for the owner, makes just a few donuts and is only open when it wants to be, despite its posted hours. The Safeway across the street should be stoked for Mr. Yo?s being there as it gets all of the business Mr. Yo?s turns away from its abysmal lack of selection and fickle business hours. Furthermore
Best donuts in Colorado! The cronut is my favorite :) I highly recommend getting there early thought, right when they open as they sell out quickly. You can always call in advance to place an order / make sure they have what you want.
I was told about this place and excited to give it a try. I purchased a 1/2 dozen and the donuts were stale and not flavorful. So very disappointing , but The customer service was friendly and the location close to home. Due to the customer service, I?ll definitely give it another try as maybe it was just an off day??
Love the donuts from here. However management needs to have a conversation with their staff about tip money. I had a worker tell me I was ?good to go? when I was owed change and watched her put the extra money in their tip jar.
Always enjoy their donuts, good flavor, texture. Great friendly service. However it seems that they might need to limit some customers. Just some friendly advice, limiting one order to 3-4 dozen is not a negative, when there are then another 60 people who can get some. Keep up the good work Windsor. love the local feel.
Croissant donut and apple fritter are my favorite. Best donuts I've ever had, and I'm a donut fanatic. Updated my review to three stars because this place is almost never open when I drive by in the morning. Today it's 9:20 on a weekday and they're closed, sold out. Rarely are they open past 10 am. I can't understand why they opened a second location when they could just make more and sell more donuts at this location.
Mr. Yo's is amazing. All these people complaining about not getting there early enough for donuts?? Sounds like a personal problem, not a business problem. When they run out, they close!! They open at around 5am... Of course they are out of donuts by 10am! Get up and get there earlier, don't give the business a negative review because you didn't get what you wanted. They are super popular, they run out quickly and early!
Everything here is YUMMY. I took a dozen cinnamon rolls with me to family Easter. They were so good the box was gone in less and hour! I don't care for the older woman who is at the window, she's rude! Part of customer service is being pleasant.
I like supporting small businesses and especially hearing the story behind this place my mom and I decided to try it out. The staff member at the drive thru window is so incredibly rude, not personable, clipped/short, and poor communication with customers. The donuts are pretty good though, I like the Oreo and fruity bit ones, just could use a little more of the frosting on top!
Love this local donut shop. They have fluffy donuts with classic toppings. Long Johns that they will fill on request with raspberry or Bavarian cream. Best of all coffee that you can grab to drink while sneaking a donut on the way home??
This is for the new Fort Collins location, I don't see the listing on Google just yet. I was greeted so warmly by Alyssa & Cailey; what an excellent team! Plenty of delicious donuts to enjoy at 9 am today with great customer service. Looking forward to visiting often!
I love Mr. Yo's! The croissant donut is my favorite!! I also never liked apple fritters until I had Mr. Yo's! Sometimes they surprise you and do a seasonal fritter (like pineapple) and it was the best thing ever! They are also so sweet and speedy with their service!
The ONE star is due to VERY POOR customer service. I am a repeating customer and never had issues prior, but I am very disappointed with my daughters recent visit there. An older woman who claims to be the manager was extremely rude and disrespectful to her. Please work on your customer service if you choose to work in this type of environment. Ugly attitudes are never necessary. REPLY- It was around 7:45-7:50, drive-thru. As the (employee, a woman) was closing the window she could be heard making a remark
I really wanted to like this donut shop. Today was my second round giving it a try and unfortunately was disappointed again. Rude, impatient service this morning around 8:45am. We live in a small town and the only local donut shop should be warm, fuzzy feels with friendly people and delicious donuts. Sadly not the case. Apple fritter was like a flat pancake and no apples. Flavor wasn?t bad but it?s not a fritter. Same with the cinnamon twist, oily and the oil tasted old. Truly hope I can try this place aga
Changed from 4 to 5 stars. We have continued to purchase donuts only from Mr. Yo's as they are the best around. The smiles and happiness from everyone there that I have seen over the past year is what made me change it to 5 stars!
I've been to many donut shops and nothing is as good as Mr. Yo`s, with the exception of Voodoo donuts in Denver. Best to get there early as they run out of some favorites by 8-9am on the weekends. Keep in mind that while their hours say they close at 1pm, if they sell out they will close. (Can't blame them) On a side note, my wife says they are a 5 star, this is because they have the best Bavarian cream according to her.
Wow. Came here for the first time this morning and needless to say I will not be returning:/ the older woman was incredibly rude to me when I was asking basic questions (as I?ve never been there before). Then the donut itself tasted stale and was a bit hard on the edges. I?m really disappointed:(
4-stars since the cronuts are very good, and this is a great local business. However they are almost always sold out. Only been able to get one 1 out of the 5 times I?ve visited. I always feel pressured to make a decision quickly and it doesn?t help that they don?t have an updated website or running menu.
Love Mr. Yo's donuts (BEST Apple Fritter anywhere and coconut has amazing top crunch!), but ordering from different tiers is kinda complicated. I got 4 twists 6 glazed 2 coconut and an apple fritter. I was expecting for them just to charge individually since I was crossing tiers and that would have amounted to $11.97 without tax, but got charged $16.34 with tax and they said they actually gave me a discount which was correct, but I don't know how they calculated that. Can someone tell me how it works when y
Yummy, I would go back again this weekend, but it's a 30-minute drive. Very good donuts
The donuts that they do make are fairly delicious. You can choose your filling for just about any doughnut there and the fillings are excellent. Their cinnamon roles are the only real failure here. The only issue I personally have happens to be the lack of any type of puff pastry. I enjoy danishes and turnovers with my coffee so I probably won't return unless I want doughnuts specifically.
Mr. Yo?s is awesome, great homemade donuts in all varieties. Only reason for 4 stars is they never have enough donuts. Basically sold out every Sunday by 930am.
Delicious donuts but theu sell out quick and there's always a massive line right when they open so either order a day in advance, be prepared to wait or try to go a little later but then you risk them being sold out.
Mr Yo's is worth the drive...no matter where you're coming from. You gotta love buying super tasty Colorado grub from an awesome family with the best staff and service! Make sure you have a minute for the drive-thru line, but it's like driving up to a restaurant with a packed parking lot!! You know it's gonna be worth it!
My husband just took me here today for the first time and I truly love these donuts. He says their still the best since high school. Definitely the best donuts I've ever eaten.
Hands down the best donuts I have ever had. Although they are priced higher than other places, I will pay the extra cost for the hard work and dedication in making the donuts hand made. I have had donuts all over the United States. These are the best.
Best donuts in CO, hands down! My favorite is the cronut (croissant donut). You need to go early though or call in advance to make sure they have what you want in stock!
Very very yummy donuts. We pre-ordered 3 dozen through Facebook and they had them ready for us. Only giving 4 stars because it was a little pricey. For 3 dozen, tier 1 donuts and 3 extra donuts it was $41. To me, that's quite a lot for donuts. But, they are delicious, especially the crossiant donuts and they stay fresher than most donuts.
I love this place. Non-chain, so what's left is what you have to choose from. Fresh donuts. Plan on getting here early if you want something specific, otherwise they'll be sold out! Their old fashioned cinnamon are the Best!
The croissant donut is the amazing! Best donut shop in Colorado, worth getting there early before they run out of some things. The staff is also super friendly and patient.
Excellent donuts. In Texas, there are donut shops everywhere. Up here, there is one donut shop per town. Thank goodness there is Mr. Yo's. That was THE BEST DONUT I have had since leaving Texas. Plain, glazed. Soft. Yummy. Excellent. Worth a wee drive to Windsor for yummylicious.
They are better than the food store chains. But hands down Lars i s better only if you are in the same town they are. Now I did buy two different types of donuts there, one was better than the other. Someone at church brought in donut hole from Lars. The white ones were just run of the mill plain Jane donuts holes from anywhere any donut making place. But then there were... ahhh some darker colored one. I could not detect the exact flavor. They were so out of the ordinary delicious, i would most definatly
If your not there early enough plan on not getting what you want! We got there and hour and half before closing and they said they can make us a dozen doughnuts with ?what they have left? be prepared to be disappointed the variety we got was not worth the $15 I was charged never coming back! We got four doughnuts that didn?t even have icing the rest were crunchy and dry cake doughnuts. We got a cinnamon roll which isn?t a doughnut and some other speciality one. All in all Go early or don?t go at all never c
The staff is very friendly and helpful explaining the variety of flavors they offer. The donuts are so delicious and they have big selection of fun outside of box flavors!! Highly recommend Mr Yo?s!!
Best donuts EVER! Mr Yo's is amazing and always so so fresh ?? great price and amazing service. Staff can give you helpful ideas to find your perfect choice. Our family Loves Mr Yo's ?
Great donuts! My daughter liked the donut holes. My wife liked the fact that you could buy a donut, and they would fill it with your cream of choice on the spot. A bit pricey for this feature, but it was very good.
Best doughnuts in the world! And to the people that complain about the price, well for the best it's going to cost more. I would literally pay 20 bucks, for just one dozen, there aren't any better doughnuts out there. I come from Greeley as early as possible because I know they run out quickly. Which proves, their doughnuts are amazing. Another thing I love, these doughnuts don't get stale until after 5 days from being bought. They remain fresh way longer than any other I've seen.
Called this morning and politely asked how much a dozen glazed donuts would cost. Lady on the phone started trying to place an order. I explained i don't want to place an order, just need the cost. "I don't know why you're yelling, but it's $11." Was the response, though i never raised my voice, simply repeated myself more clearly. Rude customer service, poor listening skills, and overpriced. A dozen donuts of any variety is only $9 at donut haus, and when i asked them the same questions in the same manner
Holy cow are these donuts delicious! Their Bavarian creme filling is wonderful. I got donuts here for my daughter's breakfast birthday party (in place of cake) and they were a huge hit!
Great donuts! Bought donuts for work crew. $53 for two dozen assorted. What kind of donut world are we living in?
The donut holes were a little old but the croissant donut more than made up for it. Don't miss this wonderful family run store in Windsor, CO.
Always my go to for donuts. You can tell how popular they are, everytime they are closed for some reason, everyone goes to Dunkin Donuts as an alternative and they can't keep up. I even heard an employee tell one customer that they were so busy because Mr. Yo's was closed that day. If you are in Windsor's area, you owe it to yourself to have a donut from them.
What happens to Mr Yo?s cronuts???? My boss used to buy these. I drove 1 hour to the shop, and got a flat gross cronut. Not the cronut I remembered. So disappointed! The first time we went, it was closed because they ran out! They don?t sell out, the kids who work there just want to go home ! Did they get new management? Never again.
Would be five starts because The donuts are good but went through bought a dozen paid for a dozen and got eight. The line is crazy and the phone Number does not work. Really just don?t like not getting what I paid for especially since the four I missed out on are my kiddos favorite.
I have been frequenting Mr. Yo's since I learned of it from a friend after moving to Windsor. Friendly staff and a great selection of donuts and breakfast sandwiches. My family's favorites are the chocolate long johns, apple fritter and the flakey sweet croissant donut. A must try.
Nothing like having your favorite donuts at your wedding. This place is amazing.
My fianc? doesn?t always like to try new places, sticking with generic chain restaurants. I?ve been able to convince him to try Mr. Yo?s and we have been going there often for nearly a year now. They are our favorite donuts and the staff is friendly most of the time. Definitely recommend giving it a try over chain restaurants :)
They have ramped up supply for their drive-thru service, today they still had the specialty donuts the kids and I wanted at 10am. You must try the Cronut. It's a croissant turned into a donut and it's the most indulgent, light, and flakey donut you could find!
Mr. Yo?s makes the best donuts I?ve ever had, anywhere. Their raised donuts have the fluffiest texture! I?ve been there many times and the staff are always polite and friendly. I?ll be back (and back and back and back?)
Tried to go to Mr. Yo?s both Saturday and Sunday this weekend and both days it was closed. Today, Sunday, it was apparently closed due to being out of donuts at 10am. Please make more donuts so that you are able to stay open your short business hours.
These people are so rude and disrespectful. Donut's are amazing. However, they sell out quick and more often than not they are closed for one reason or another. Prices on the steep side. The way they treat their employees won't leave you wondering why they are always hiring. I won't ever spend another dime at that place.
Hands down the best donuts around. The drive thru is slow and the donuts cost more than at other donut shops--and both are worth it. Get there early before they run out of your favorites!
Donuts are okay. Limited seating area. Watch out for Janice. Her customer service lacks every time I?ve been in there. She raised her voice with my mother because she wasn?t answering quickly enough. Their pricing structure is confusing with the ?Tier system?. Would be nice to see Janice smiling while she is serving her customers. After all, she works in the service industry...
Since first opening this Mr. Yo, has been providing excellent donuts, and the girls have always made the time spent inside a fun experience. It's a family favorite and a weekend staple! Thank you for the great times
The croissant donuts are to die for!! All the others are great too. My only issue is that their phone doesn?t work. I would love to go their this morning but their phone not in order! Bummer
Wow. These are amazing old fashioned donuts. I made sure to get there at opening so I could try fresh donuts!!! I tried the glazed and the sugar and I am blown away! I can?t wait to get these again! Good job guys!
