It was a great pleasure to come by again to this donut place?I hadn?t visit since like 8 years ago, but happy and delighted to see Lee Chea there helping all her customers with such a joyful attitude as always! Awesome Apple Fritters! One of the things I like the most about this place is not just her great customer service and variety, it?s that their donuts always taste so fresh ? what I mean is you can?t taste the oil, just the donut. I especially like the apple fritters because they have huge chunks of apples and you can taste the spices like cinnamon. If you?re in the area and you like donuts this is a sure thing. My wife loves this place. She's been going here since she was a child. Omg it's so expensive here, but I understand why so many people go to this place. The food and donuts are so good. I remember one guy got his leg amputated after not taking care of his diabetes and hopped all the way from the hospital on his good leg just to get a maple bar donut. SMH. Oh well. Being healthy is so overrated.
Adding Mr. K's Donuts to my daughter's 2nd birthday party was the best touch to the them. Their customer service is the best. Very nice people.
The donuts here taste so fresh. And you can tell they change the oil very frequently. I only just started coming here when I moved out of the area, but now I stop by whenever I visit. I always get a dozen mixed with several large ones, it's like $18. I'm told the Thai iced tea is amazing, and I want to try that next time. They also have ice cream, coffee and espresso drinks and a water refill station for sparkletts bottles.
Omgosh! I ordered some huge dounts for my daughters birthday last weekend. Excellent customer service ,very friendly & accommodate for the early time I needed them. Fresh and yummy, red velvet is great as well.. thx you.. .
Came here around 11:30 and waited at the counter for service. The guy working here saw me and continued to wash dishes for about 2 minutes before looking over at me again to mumble "I'll be right there".I waited about 5 minutes from the time I got there until my order was taken. FINALLY he takes my order and seemed annoyed as I was asking if they had certain items. I ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese on the side and waited 20 minutes for my bagels. A very well deserved 5 stars. The sweet lady who owns the shop is seriously so amazing. She loves to talk, and it was great. She gave me about 35 cents off for no good reason other than she's a sweetheart. I put some money in the tip jar as a thank you for the nice gesture. More than happy to support a family business, especially that of a very hardworking older woman. Had such a lovely chat with her. Whenever I'm in the area, I'd love to come back. The BEST donuts in LA County! The small strip mall where it is located definitely looks past it's prime & needs work, but don't let that sway your decision in going there. I went there late, at about 11:00 PM on a Friday, but everything still seemed & tasted fresh. Ordered a dozen + 3 more. I like them all, but the raspberry filled is my favorite; they're great! I think the filling in them is made from real fruit because they taste like it is & the color & consistency is similar to Knott's raspberry preser
The woman I see most of the time are the sweetest ppl. Always so welcoming. Baked goods always fresh and they have this cream cheese filled croissant that so delicious. The croissants sell out fast so get it when you can.
The doughnuts here are amazing! I absolutely love how hardworking the staff is. I met a man with a mighty beard when going there and he is so incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here for not only the food, but also the staff. When I come back to visit Cali, I will be sure to stop by here again.
I love this place! My favorite donut shop! The only donut shop I'd cheat on my diet for ;) the woman that owns it is so sweet! She went out of her way to make a special mother's day donut trio gift for me! (My mother in law loved it!) Definitely worth a visit
The first time I was here was great because customer service was excellent, they were fast, and the croissant sandwich was tasty. I went again a few months later to buy croissant breakfast sandwiches for 12 people to give to my clinical mates in the hospital. Mrs K is the best person to meet and talk with. The total best Donuts by taste, look, quality, and display. I have not tried her coffee yet. Tomorrow morning from working all night I will be at her place by 8 AM and I will try her coffee on the way to play Water Volleyball at the Lakewood YMCA.
