Mother Made Donuts

My family has been going here for years!! They have excellent fresh donuts every morning . My dad calls in at 5:00 in the morning when going fishing to have sandwiches made we're able just to swing by pick them up they're excellent every time. Very friendly people. Not just donuts they sell lotto tickets,scratchers, sandwiches, oatmeal, cookies, special made coffees cold, iced, blended. I highly recommend mothers made donuts.

By far the best glazed donut and cinnamon roll donut I have ever had! And I've had my share of donuts, but hands down the glazed donut was delicious! It was like cake! The texture how soft and spongy the dogh was, no oil flavor at all and it wasn't to sweet it was flavored perfectly!!! If yall haven't been here to try these donuts out, you have been missing out !! I'm going back today to buy some more for the fam!!

Awesome fresh donuts, they taste like they were just made. Prices are affordable and worth it. I also had the hot chocolate and it was delicious, one of the best hot chocolates around add a donut and your set. Customer service is awesome, very friendly, very helpful. Very nice people in general. My wife had a mango boba smoothie and it was actually pretty good. Donuts are well recommended.

This our first time at Mother Made Donuts on New Years Day finding a donut shop in Whittier is hard to find but we found this shop on Lambert Rd. We arrived and step they a full variety of donuts fresh. We decided to a dozen to go and watch the Rose Pardare.

I love this place, feels like home. Not a big donut fan but I like their croissant breakfast sandwiches and I only buy my lottery tickets here. I coffee & thai tea is good also.

Love it here. Great service. Love their custom made letter or number donuts. Have purchased for events they always have orders ready on time. Beautifully made. Best glazed donut I have EVER had.

Wasn?t happy with my latest experience. They ran out of croissant bread for a breakfast sandwich and replaced it with white bread and charged me the same. I had gotten 4 sandwiches and even though they were much smaller as you can imagine none of them where completely eaten. The taste was not the same and they insisted on charging the same price for white bread as the croissant bread.

got a fresh donut and a croissant warmed up for my girlfriend and they had a fresh pot of coffee ready to go as well! they are a great couple of people behind the counter working here. i would just suggest they might want to minimize the clutter on the counter.

Bought their donuts for years. Best breakfast sandwiches on croissants or bagels; fresh, warm, moist bread. Little hole in the wall place..tight parking but it flows in & out. This donuts are very yummy and the prices are good. The lady isn't friendly nor rude. She doesn't really greet but she still makes up for that in the donuts. My glazed twist is so soft and smells so good!

I stopped here years ago to get some donuts as a time-saving breakfast before taking my son to school. I grabbed one of my favorites (buttermilk bar) while in the car and AFTER I had already taken a bite or two, I noticed there was a piece of carpet stuck to the bottom of my donut! A huge piece, like 3/4 of an inch with the weaved backing attached and everything. It made me nauseous. Their boba shakes are bomb. The boba is so soft. And their donuts aren't overpriced either! Revised 08/27/20: Ordered birthday donuts and they were a minor hit! The price for 17 custom donuts wasn't bad at all (approx $2/donut). Donuts were delicious as always.

Great donuts for an ok price but by far the best ones around.

They have white cream donuts. Not just custard filled.

These donuts are good. They had a good variety of donuts and tasted fresh. Had one for the first time about a week ago that was brought to me and it was amazing. I had to go back for myself and get a dozen to have for dessert and some for breakfast. The donuts still tasted great the next morning and that's not the case with every donut shop but you won't have that problem with this shop. You should give this shop a chance and you'll see you won't regret it.

The churro croissant thing they have is really good.

Their bread for donuts is delicious, and they were really soft. The icing wasn't chunky or gross it was smooth and had good texture. Overall, great donuts with lots of options!

Whole in the wall... but, Great donuts! I almost missed this place as I was driving by. It is a small business with a very small parking lot. But, if you stop... you will be glad you did. And, the coffee is good. $ More importantly, they have a good variety of great tasting traditional donuts: old fashioned buttermilk, glazed, frosted, sprinkles, apple fritters, filled, etc. Their donuts are fresh & light. Perfect with coffee, milk or juice. Enjoy!

Amazing Fruit BoBa Drinks.

Their donuts used to be fresh, must have changed baker. Donuts last few weeks are small and old. When asked the lady at counter very rude and threw donuts. Wont ever go back! was going in everyday.

Husband loves coming to this location for nostalgic purposes but their tuna sandwich left me wanting it again. It sounds basic but was delicious! The down side overall was just parking. The location itself is welcoming ^-^

Very pleased with their donuts. Bought a dozen in the morning, really good variety, they had cute halloween donuts, and the prices are reasonable. The donuts are chewy and delicious. You can tell the baker knows what he's doing and puts effort into the work. 24hrs after I bought them, the leftover donuts were still good to eat. Friendly service, asian lady greeted me with a smile.

Donuts are decent, but some weird pricing strategies will prevent me from coming here again. Choice dozen was $13.50 last week and the same was somehow $14 this morning. I know $.50 isn't a big deal but not a fan of them just typing whatever price they feel like that morning into the pay tablet... ?????

Mothers don't it always has wonderful service friendly smile very talkative and the sandwiches are the bomb. Split a tuna sandwich and a pastrami sandwich with my friend to compare and try different sandwiches. I liked pastrami a lot,he loved the tuna most. He has been here in the past for that tuna sandwich. Very satisfied

Came to the donut shop with my girls. The donuts were old, the person helping gave me the wrong donuts, after I told him, it was the wrong one and said he could not exchange it, even though we did not touch it. I threw it in the trash and just kept the one that my daughter chose but after taking a bite she said it was rancid. When back to the owner and told him and he said he didn't care.

Donut selection is about the same as everywhere else. Prices as well. The donuts taste good though! Ham and cheese are pricey but it?s worth it because of the amount of ham inside of them

Love this place, you go in and have tons of selection of super FRESH donuts and they are extremely friendly and remember your name so you feel at home. Their coffee is nice and strong and my daughter loves their hot chocolate. Be sure to stop here if you're in the area.

One important fact about this donut shop besides how great they taste is they are a TREE NUT FREE bakery. The only one that exists that I know of. The prices are also great and they are open until 10pm daily. If you are ever in Whittier it?s a must try before you leave.

I have been going here for over ten years for a reason. Because they are the best when it comes to customer service and donuts! This place is my go to every time I need to have a donut fix.

Cash only, apparently. The woman at the register tried to use the chip on my card as payment and failed, then she tried to swipe it multiple times and couldn?t do that either. She suggested it was my fault somehow. When I did order my sandwich, which is not only named on the menu but has a full color photo of it, both her and the other employee were confused because they?d apparently never heard of the turkey croissant that they advertise on the menu as having. Looked for some donuts while we were staying in Whittier CA and this place came up. And the gentleman who greeted was so friendly and Mrs. Mother was so cute and friendly and the donuts omg sooo Soo yummy. If we are ever in the area again will definitely go back.

This has to be the greatest sandwich in all of Southern California it doesn't have the flashy thick meats and expensive marketing campaign but the price is amazing the sandwiches are consistently really good and it has the proper portions of everything you would want in a sandwich every single sandwich is delicious so when you want something new you won't be disappointed as well mother made number one for sure

Went here to get some lottery tickets the lady said it was number 14 they go backwards so I just asked ok what number do have next she told me 12 so I asked what happened to number 13 she said I don't know that the way they came in. I left!!!!

This place is soo good from the doughnuts to their breakfast sandwiches. So yummy and the little yellow chilies they give on the side have a great kick.

The place looks clean and neat but the prices are too much. I think it's too expensive just for donuts. Need to look around and compare prices so your customers don't go to the competitors.
