We ordered Aloha themed cookies & cupcakes for my granddaughters 1st birthday and Morris bakery knocked it out of the park!! They were beautifully decorated and so delicious!! Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you!

We stopped in on the Witches Night Out event. There was a young girl at the door inviting everyone in. We loved all the choices of desserts including the many pumpkin flavored for the season. The younger lady behind the counter was very patient and answered all of our questions about what this was and that was and gave us descriptions of the flavors etc. We ordered several items including pumpkin chocolate chip brownies, pumpkin cheesecake, and a couple Halloween decorated cookies. Everything was delicious!

We ordered this cake for my sister?s baby shower. It went beyond our expectations. It was the most beautiful cake that I have ever seen in person. The inside was vanilla with raspberry and it was delicious?? They were responsive and kind. Thank you so much Morris Bakery for making our cake dream come!

I ordered cupcakes for a bridal shower and they were amazing! And decorated as I had asked. Many compliments on them!

I?ve ordered my children?s birthday cakes from here for a couple years now... I just ordered a 1/2 sheet the other day and I will never again go back. They charged me $65 ahead of time for only a 1/2 sheet then we went to cut into it and it started falling apart. We found icing holding some of the cake together. One side was higher then the other (not level at all) and half of the chocolate side there was the same amount of icing as there was cake. It was suppose to be buttercream and it definitely didn?t t

ROACHES!!!! I saw two roaches in the span of 10 minutes. So gross, tasted awful, and gave me food poisoning!! Be careful, it's not worth it at all.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon, before a paint & sip event down the street, the pastries were amazing, I wish they had donuts but I?m just happy they had some tasty treats left! I will hopefully be back for more! Nice & friendly staff

2nd time I'm here around 515 and lights are out. I left at 530.tried calling. Nothing. Two other people drove off too. Nothing open, people inside. Disappointing when I drove from minooka trying to make our Christmas break special. Never again.

Nice local bakery. Donuts were fresh, good assortment, larger than your typical chain donuts. At $13 a dozen these were well priced too. Highly recommend-satisfied some sweet tooths!

Of course they have great donuts and cinnamon rolls that are fresh baked from scratch every day. But take home a coffee cake or rolls if you want a real treat. Great coffee. You will notice how friendly everyone is and how many customers they great by name. Since 1974, this has been a Morris tradition. Worth the drive. Right in the heart of downtown.

So, I have been watching Nick who makes the bakery goodies on Tik Tok for awhile & I knew the next time I was in town I would be stopping in - NOT DISAPPOINTING!!! WOW!! DELICIOUS!! NO skimping in ANYTHING here!! We were at a car show on Sept 14th and we happened to park our vehicle in front of the store and the people that were coming to the bakery was non stop!! We got this mini apple butter pie and he was glad he got 2!!! I got the cherry roll patries..YUMMMM!! If you are ever near this location..get in

The lemon bars are to die for. Had a Danish and an elephant ear too. Both pretty good! I recommend going early in the day. They get picked over by the afternoon. It's pretty small to dine in. But it's perfect to order what you want and go. Or walk around outside and eat it on the downtown strip.

Hands down, best donuts around. Unfortunately when I went into today when they first opened to get donuts for my anniversary, they had absolutely no donuts and the cashier who was glued to her phone couldn?t care less or inform me when they?d have donuts in stock :( such a bummer.

A morris STEPLE! An absolute pillar of our great community! As soon as you enter the door they treat you like you've known them for years! Great service and great prices. Might I add the smells!!! Ugh! They need a "Morris Bakery" scented candle!!

I called for 2 weeks to try to place an order for a baby shower and was repeatedly told they were too busy, call back the next day, or they took my number and never called back. They said they were too busy and short staffed. I understand but after 2 weeks I gave up and ordered from somewhere else. I will never try to use this place again. Very poor run business.

Got my wedding cake there. Was delicious! Was hard finding a bakery that was LGBTQ++ friendly.

The baked goodies are the best in town.

Went in at around 4:30 right before closing and they still had a decent selection of cookies and misc sweets. I picked up a cinnamon roll, a sugar cookie rolled in sprinkles and a chocolate cookie with chocolate frosting. In total it was just over $5, a steal! Everything was delicious, especially the sugar cookie, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Came in 08/23 for the first time and never again will I make a trip out here for them. Horrible customer service. The woman seemed mad that I came into the store and I don't know if she was having a bad day or just didnt like my race. She walked out from the back and stood there without saying a word. I asked for a receipt and she wasn't able to provide one for me. I was charged $35 for a dozen donuts and a coffee cake. Disappointed.

The baker Nick is straight up a holocaust denier and does not like jewish people. The desserts are really amazing though!! Definitely worth a try even if you are jewish

The bakery opens early so people heading out can stop by and grab what they want from the amazing, and unique selections. Everything is made fresh daily, and the enticing smells can be gotten from a block away. To top it off their coffee selections are simple, but taste amazing. The people who run this place goes to great lengths to make your experience here unforgettable. I highly recommend stopping by.

Delicious donuts and a few tables, two of which sit in the display windows, which is fun. Prices have gone up of course and often the donuts are sold out early. The only thing I could ask for is stronger coffee and a microwave where you can heat up your delicious apple fritter.

The 2 stars are because their donuts are decent and the coffee is fine. They are also for the extremely poor customer service. The person in front of us came in to pick up an order they had placed and the staff didn't have it ready or even seem to know what he was talking about. When it came to be my turn at the front of the line (after they had already skipped me and waited on the person behind me) they didn't say 'hello' or otherwise acknowledge me aside from staring at me. We don't live in town, but our kids go to school in town. We try to stop in at least once a month because it's a treat for the kids. Great backed goods and when we can get them fresh... the best apple fritters!

Donuts are good, but depending on the day you go they may have a lot of donuts or only have four different types. This was extremely frustrating because you would expect for a bakery to have more then four kinds of donuts at 7:30 on a Sunday morning!

Always a pleasure going into the Morris Bakery. The fresh smells the small-town ambience and great attitude by those that work there. The bakery goods are phenomenal! Even at work when we have out-of-state visitors we always insist on bringing in Morris Bakery Goods and they never fail to impress! No hesitation at all giving Morris Bakery 5 Stars across the board! Decent seating especially in the two little Cubbies upfront looking out on Liberty Street. A true small town gem!

Always has amazing treats on the daily and we've made several special orders from the back bakery and they've never disappointed.

We came into town to visit here, but the service was horrible. The woman behind the counter actually seemed annoyed when we came in. Didn't talk to us, barely answered our questions. We felt very unwelcome. Food was ok. Overall a very strange experience.

Always great experience, wonderful welcoming and warm. Doughnuts are always amazing and fresh, get the chocolate covered doughnut with the white dab of frosting on top in the middle, everyones favorite. When they have specials, make sure you get there early for the line.

My favorite place in Morris!! Peanut butter cookies are so soft they are amazing! Glazed donuts are so good! They have yummy cinnamon rolls and frosted cookies too!

The baked goods are spectacular. I dropped in because I was in town and can't pass up a bakery. I enjoyed some blueberry fritters and later some brownies. I'll definitely stop back in if I'm back in the area!

The donuts here are amazing but I have been here 3 times and each of the times they didn't have all of the donuts/patries out when they opened. If you open your store why would you only have 1/2 of the inventory to choose from? Disappointing.

They have amazing doughnuts! I enjoy their cake doughnuts in particular. They're soft, and fresh. They also have great coffee cake, and coffee. A nice location in the middle of all the stores on Liberty St.

The best bakery. Unfortunately, they really have nothing set out until around 6:30. So it?s very deceiving that they open at 5 am. Don?t even bother going before 6:30 unless you made an order the day before. But after 6:30 one of the best bakeries for miles around.

Called for cake for next day pick up and was told not possible! They need 2-3 days for a simple plain cake that says happy birthday what???? Is this a bakery? Great coffee and some of the best homemade donuts you will ever have. The charm of Morris can be witnessed as the staff says good morning to and recognizes most of the customers. This place is one of the best!!!

The health department needs to pay these people a visit. The overnight crew particularly the owners son is baking the products shirtless while constantly cross contaminating by touching his fecal laden phone all for tik tok, zero health code safety precautions are employed. Eat at your own risk!

Love this small family owned bakery. Their donuts are delicious and they are always available to provide unique custom creations whenever needed for special occasions.

Incredible throwback Bakery. The hospitality, quality and price were fabulous. The potato rolls and blueberry fritter was off the chain. When in Morris, Illinois, stop at the Morris Bakery. You will LOVE it!

Excellent baked goods! Frequently come here with a group of cyclists as a mid ride stop and love getting a donut or cinnamon roll before heading back for the last half of the ride.

Unfortunately, staff was not wearing masks. I wont go back if they are this careless with my health. I asked about it and staff told me the owner doesn't make them wear masks. No social distancing among customers, half who also weren't wearing masks.

I called to order a cake for about three weeks from now. I figured I'd better order early because I've heard they stay busy. When a woman answered the phone, I barely got "I'd like to order a cake" out of my mouth, when the woman cut me off and said the owner wasn't taking any more orders, because she was too backed up. She didn't even know when I wanted the cake, nor was she interested. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Horrible customer service and rude employees called literally a month ago got excuses left and right left messages for Lauren after being told that who we needed to talk to then week before the event they said no one can make a cake and the person said she?s taking a new job and hung up on us we have used this bakery for over 30 years but this was horrible and has probably made us never use them again
