The best donut shop in town, runs by the sweetest owner. There's no doubt how perfect their donuts are, but the hospitality is what sets Morning Star apart. Always greeted by a warm welcome and a huge smile. Love seeing the daughter come on the weekends to help out. We will always support this small family owned business. Thank you for being so awesome.
Always a greeted with great friendly service each time I come for donuts and kolaches. My favorites are the jumbo jalape?o kolaches . I like that the rolls/bread part of the kolaches are not heavy or too doughy. The ratio of proteins to dough is just right . The small glazed donut designs are always so beautifully iced with love and I see it when my kids beg me to get the magical donut holes designed with them in mind . This is the second year our family has special donuts to celebrate a very special Christmas tradition. The donuts always look amazing and they are always so friendly. They are my number one choice for deliciously decorated donuts.
Came here for the decorated donut holes, which my little boy absolutely loved. A dozen of these came out to $6.70, which is not cheap but the cute designs are worth the premium.
I've been going here every since I was 4 and still haven't found a better donut shop in all of DFW! Go here if you want donuts way better then any chain, 10/10 would totally recommend. Super nice employees as well, they're the best! Can't believe I've been going here over 10 years now!!
Completely blown away by the quality and service here. I ordered a specialty donut box with a Spiderman and Pok?mon theme for my son's birthday. I was amazed when I picked these up. The amount of detail and work that went into each donut is very apparent, and they tasted great as well! I would venture to say that Morning Star makes the best tasting and best decorated donuts in DFW!!

The donuts are DELICIOUS!!! But what really keeps me coming back and a faithful customer to this donut shop are the friendly staff! They always greet you when you come in and they remembered my girls and ask about them even when they?re not with me. Any place can make good food but when it?s accompanied by equally good genuine people it just makes it a million times better! This is the only donut shop I?ll ever go to as long as I live in Plano! :)

Such a good donut shop! We really love their apple fritters, jalapeno sausage kolaches, chocolate glazed donuts and character donut holes. Our kids especially enjoy the cute designs and the shop always includes a few free glazed donut holes with the order! Very friendly place, love living nearby!

This is a great little donut shop right on the way to my daughter?s school. Great prices and really good, interesting donuts. My favorite is the cronut they have periodically and my daughter loves the Lola he?s. I go there once a week on the way to school and there?s always something different when I go in.

I really love Morning Star Donuts. In my opinion, they are the best donuts in town. They are not over done with tons of extras. Simple, plain, and not too sweet. Its simply the perfect donut. This shop has been around for a while and I was a little surprised to see there was only one review. I just tried it for the first time and really liked it. The shop is clean and looks like your typical donut shop. The donuts are tasty and the "kolaches" (pigs in blankets) are good. Not too doughy like some other places. I was rather surprised to see they actually hand-paint donut holes with pictures of cartoon characters (attached a pic) and give them out free with your orders. I'll definitely go back.. es

Love this place! have been going here for almost 6yrs. The only shop we love! Donuts are light and fluffy, not heavy and ick! She makes the cutest little donut holes and can do "Happy Birthday" ones. Donuts are great and your option to fill with custard which makes the donut taste much better in my opinion! Kolaches are very tasty and the lady is very sweet and courteous! Recommend this place and will keep coming back....
Amazing donut shop! Excellent donuts, but the decorating of the donut holes is what my kids love! They decorate based on the seasons and what's popular (christmas donut holes with santa, trees, stockings, etc. Superman, hello kitty, dinosaurs, minions!) The owners are so kind and friendly we love coming here!

Beautiful presentation and incorporation of the kiddos love for fun delicious donuts. From Pokemon to seahorses, or hearts with music bites all flavors. The staff is very friendly as well.
