Morkes Chocolates

Ordered a few chocolates from Morkes and every part of the process was wonderful. Easy to order, sent and delivered quickly, wrapped nicely, and the statues themselves looked amazing. They were a hit at the event we ordered them for. Will def be ordering again from Morkes. Wonderful company and great experience.

Well, I just found the best cherry sour candies anywhere!!! And wow, the donuts are delectable! So many chocolate and candy choices, from truffles to gummies and all things St. Patrick's Day themed, you're sure to find just the right item to satisfy any sweet tooth. Stopped by seeing this sweet little independent Chocolate Shop in Rand Road. Inside is this well managed Chocolate wonderland, with lot of varieties of home made chocolate, freshly made donuts, and other treats. Bought home made chocolate mix and match ( they either give in a bag or in a box). Also the doughnuts tasted good. Definitely will be stopping again. Slightly overpriced, but being a small business and how well the store is kept, makes sense.

THE BEST yellow cake and Devil?s Food cake donuts aren?t made in a donut shop?they?re made in a chocolate shop ? MORKES. Every year I take a couple dozen to the family reunion picnic. Every year they?re the first thing to go!

This place may be delicious but it is severely over priced and the staff was not friendly in the least. I stood in front of the cashier for a few minutes asking if I could check out and she just sat there staring at other people that were waiting on something. I asked if they were done and she literally ignored me. Just was not a pleasant experience at all.

When I walked in, I was kindly greeted by an employee there. Customer service was great and friendly. The atmosphere inside is very fancy and feels inviting. Their donuts which I decided to try today, are a little pricey, ($2 a donut, I got 8.) but they are super delicious and have a way more authentic taste and texture than Dunkin' or any other shop that sells donuts nearby. Great experience.

I haven't been to the store myself but was brought some doughnuts and carmel/chocolate apples by a colleague and everything was amazing. I usually get stomach aches from fried or processed doughnuts but theirs tasted more bread like and natural and I didn't get that feeling. The apples I ate were the chocolate covered nut kind that is I was told one of their known fors. I also had the chocolate sea salt which was awesome too.

Yummy to my tummy, if I lived here, I'd go every day all day and camp out to be ready for the next. Kind service with a decadent fix. I was glad I was able to sneak some back on the plane.

I received a box of candy that was shipped to me. Candy was very wet and leaking sticky substance. I tried a piece and it was very bitter. The box was so sticky I had to wash my hands. I ended up tossing it because I was afraid to eat it. The shipping box was not damaged but the candy was. Some of the candy had holes in the chocolate. Not good at all for what the price was.

Very disappointing experience. Order placed by phone for shipping. Order never arrived, employee maintained ?it wasn?t her fault it was UPS.? UPS maintains Morkes put the wrong address on the shipping label. After 3 calls I was given a refund- no offer to make it right. The candy order was to be favors for my husband?s surprise 60th party.

Came here because the reviews were pretty good for my wife's birthday gift. The woman behind the counter was extremely helpful and polite. It doesn't get better than hand made donuts and candy. Everything is just delicious and so fresh. I have loved every single thing I've eaten from there. Definitely make it there as soon as possible and you'll be hooked for life.

Morke?s chocolates, donuts and taffy apples are obviously delicious (the best around). But don?t overlook their gluten free cookies. Hard to find GF cookies, but to find ones that are amazingly delicious is exciting! We order them by the dozens. You would never know they are gluten free. Just ordered again this morning and can?t wait to pick them up this afternoon lol

I recently visited Morket's Chocolate, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The owner, Rhonda Dehn, was incredibly unprofessional, treating both her employees and customers with a lack of respect. It was disheartening to witness employees being mistreated right in front of customers. This created a very uncomfortable atmosphere, and it was clear that the staff was unhappy. As a customer, I also felt disregarded and poorly treated, which is not what you expect when visiting a local bus

Drove by this little shop so many times and finally decided to go in and try the donuts. Wow I was impressed by how delicious they were and fresh even at 4 pm . The best donuts I?ve had in this area. The shop had so many other treats too which all looked tempting and the store itself smelled divine. I ordered a chocolate sculpture of a dog and it came out great. I had it sent to my mom's house for Christmas and she loves it. The manager helped me over the phone with the shipping and was very nice and answered all my questions. Will order again.

Walking into the shop will remind you of Willy Wonka with treats from floor to ceiling in every shape, size, and type. My favorite is actually their donuts (cider spice in the fall in particular). Always a great place for your Valentine gift or basket for friends or clients.

Went in there based on an article in Chicagoparent as a recommendation for hot chocolate. It was okay definitely had better was getting chunks towards the end. The kids enjoyed the apple caramel. We tried the clusters the toffee was a hit, the nut ones couldn?t taste the kinds of nuts?assuming they were a bit stale

I have utilized Morkes for all of my chocolate needs, from the incredible creamy fondue chocolate, the peanut brittle(my favorite), the high-end taffy apples and the donut Birthday cakes. I have never been disappointed. The manager there, Jane always has a kind word and is unbelievable at her job. She helped me plan a surprise chocolate and wine party in their private space and it was phenomenal. Highly recommended! D

Such a cute little place to get doughnuts, caramel apples, chocolate covered strawberries, truffles, chocolates or candy. Oh they have coffee too! Best covered strawberries We have had ever.

A recent wedding client of ours used Morkes Chocolates as an added sweet treat for the guests on their wedding day. The 200 chocolate covered strawberries were simply divine and the communication and experience of working with this team was kind and efficient. Highly recommend.

They have great sugar free chocolates. Their donuts are always fresh and tasty. They have a different flavor donut every week.

I can't say enough about Rhonda & her team at Morkes! My daughter wanted a decadent little treat for her wedding guests, & Morkes not only had the right mint truffle chocolates, they were each dusted in the wedding theme color, put into a little gold box, & decorated with pretty mini green leaves & ribbon. They not only looked adorably elegant, they tasted devine! Rhonda & the staff are so helpful & responsive too. Loved everything about our experience!

We were here for a bday party. The kids had lot of fun with 3 chocolate projects. We tried some of there chocolates and they were good. I wish the store was little well organized and they had less products to display. Every corner and open space of the store was filled with chocolates. Their chocolates taste really good. I have been here a few times. It is a beautiful chocolate shop . They are so creative with the molds they use too . The one part not many people know about as they are shocked when I tell them is they have fresh donuts. Morkes is a must-visit if you are in the area and are at all interested in chocolate or donuts! I visited Morkes for the first time, September 16, 2023. The shop from the parking lot reminded me of a mystical little cottage ?? deep in a forested ???? area in northern Ireland ????. Fantastic chocolate! The peanut butter cups are my favorite. Got my girlfriend a variety of toffee and she loved it..breakfast toffee is the best out of all the toffees in our opinion. This place's service is excellent, and it speaks volumes considering it is tiny and I went a day before valentine's day and managed to get in and out quickly as they properly staffed their shop to meet the demand.

The chocolate and various sweets are delicious from here. They have tons of different molds for the chocolate and can custom make any you would like if they don't already have it. The donuts are also delicious. They have varying seasonal sweets and the prices are always very reasonable. If you are in the area and have a sweet tooth it is definitely worth making a stop.

Morkes has great donuts, if you are lucky enough to ever get them. We?ve been there at least six different times for the donuts advertised on their large, tall sign, and they have been out EVERY TIME. This is not at the end of the day. We just went there again today at noon, and they were sold out of the chocolate raspberry donuts advertised. Didn?t even have frozen day-old. They are open until 5pm today. If you are always sold out, doesn?t common business sense tell you to make more donuts!

We had a nice time despite some service related issues. We were told that we'd be the last party of the night, so we could extend our time. Bad costumers service. I placed an order 5 days prior to an event I had. When my husband got there to pick up the order he was told that the order wasn't ready because I had placed the order a day before. I dislike untruthful statements. People need to take accountability seriously. My husband waited 20 minutes for them to get the order ready. I was late to my event because of that.

Great place to go to for your chocolate needs. My wife gets all her chocolate chips here to make all her shaped and colored chocolates at home. Wonderful little shop with lots of items. The staff was friendly and helpful and everything was labeled and visible. The only reason I took off a star is there weren't a lot of varieties within an item for example the type of nut or chocolate used but they also have a very nice sugar-free section.

A quaint Shoppe for doughnut and sweets lovers. The "Yummy cream" is a highlight and the manager is very friendly! They even offer cupcake making parties. I got my wife chocolate covered strawberries(which are her favorite). She said they are the best CCS she?s ever had. The chocolate is rich and creamy and the strawberries are very fresh. Will definitely be using them in the future.

Some of the best donuts and chocolate I've ever had. When they have the day-old Donuts on sale they are still as fresh is the day before. There are great bye and still tastes great.

I'm a bus driver for a field trip, they offer me free coffee and doughnut, so then I feel hooked with the flavor of this lemon chocolate doughnut. I tell them "I'd shop but it might melt in my bus." They gave me four frozen doughnuts to act as an ice pack. Nothing here was less than amazing, including customer service. And with as much as I walked out with versus the price I paid ... Purely awesome.
