I went to Moon Donuts last night and even though it was 9 ?o clock at night the donuts were soft and fresh. I picked out a dozen and a half and these were delicious. The assortment was overwhelming and it was difficult to choose, but they had my favorites. Fresh donuts abd hot coffee t might are a good thing. This place is in a mini strips mall with minimal parking. The lady was very friendly and helped me figure out a future visit for their special ?Birthday Donuts?. Good selection of donuts to pick from, but they are a little over price, but they are good. They also have fresh orange juice. The service is where they need to improve.

Blueberry cheesecake donut was really good, and not sickeningly sweet like so many fancy donuts are! Had real fresh blueberries, cheesecake topping was good, I would get that again. Lavender donut was good, but I didn't taste much lavender? Devil's Food donut was one of the worst donuts I've had, it was somehow flavorless, with very sweet icing and a burnt-bitter undertone. That one got tossed barely eaten. Also, the store is pretty inaccessible to anyone using a walker or even just on crutches.

Moon donuts is so great. The place is cute, not large. It is very clean and parking is easy and free. It is located in Redondo Beach which is a lovely area. We were going to have lunch after getting donuts to go, but their food looked so good we stayed there and ate inside--still taking our dozen home. Loved the donuts and flavors offered. I tried the regular glazed donut first hands down the best so you know everything else will be great. But I do believe the traditional glaze was my favorite. The Nutella Cronuts were so good too! We didn?t have one don?t we didn?t like. My son loved the strawberry cheesecake. My husband liked the house special. Anything you have will be fantastic. Only thing I would make change is the chocolate glaze is too thin. But still tasty.

Tons of unique flavors to choose from, all delicious! The coffee and Thai ice tea is also well balanced. Service is quick and friendly, and prices are low to the area also

This was a cute little place that had a great amount of donuts, the only thing I couldn?t understand was why they were priced so high. It was already around 12 o?clock and with the amount of donuts I saw I knew most of them we?re gonna be in the trash anyway.

It was my first time at Moon donuts and I will definitely be back again. I only put the atmosphere as 4 stars because there was no one in there at least while I was there with someone else I went with. It was sad in my opinion because it was one of the best tasting donut?s I ever had and I have had doughnuts from different places in the past. I tried one of the fancy donuts and the presentation was amazing.

BEST doughnuts in Redondo area hands down. You won?t find a tastier, fluffier glazed if that?s your jam. Their choice of decorated flavored doughnuts are really well made too. Consistently great for more then six years of coming here.

Stopped in after seeing all the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. The donuts are great, especially the cream cronut. Bought three and the owner threw in an extra one! Definitely recommend this place, might just stop by another time before leaving town.

This place has the best donuts I've had in a very long time. We tried the glazed donut holes, strawberry nutella cronut, and the blueberry cheesecake donut and we were blown away at the flavor and freshness. I will no longer crave Krispy Kreme nor the sham that is called Randy's Donuts ever again.

My daughter was so excited to try this places donuts. When she bit into it, she saw this big long hair in it. We didn't have time to go back because we went on vacation. It's a small place, but don't let that fool you. This is by far my favorite donut place. I try all the fad places as they pop up, but moon Donuts is just amazing. Came to LAX on business and found this little gem in the Torrance/Redondo Beach area. Amazing staff but even better bakery delights! Came there every morning and you can see why the locals rave about this place. Their creativity for their Donuts were unmatched not to mention their selection of breakfast sandwiches! Looking through the glass and seeing them all nicely stacked dark brown caramelized edges was like in the movie Jerry Maguire ?you had me at hello.? Donuts are fine, hard to screw up a donut. However, they charge a blanket 50 cents to use a credit card. My donut order was 9$ and they add 50 cents for a credit card!

Really enjoyed these donuts! Would come back again. Unique flavor and the dough was light and airy. A family owned donut spot with all the regular go to donuts and then some yummy types I haven?t had before like their almond matcha donut. They also have cute ones for kids and also sell delicious oj on the side. They have a small shared parking lot and they do take cards. Very good donuts and will definitely be back!

The Vietnamese iced coffee is a "go to" for me... 5 bucks flat, can't go wrong with that. Solid variety of donuts too plus they got sandwiches\croissants and such. (Side note: doesn't hurt that it's right next to a smoke shop)

Surprisingly, I find myself favoring it over the well-known competitor nearby. I frequent this spot often since it's conveniently located, and ever since my discovery, I have made numerous trips to pick up treats for my family and indulge in a little self-care.

Couldnt decide so i got 3, a cronut, glazed and cinnamon roll. The cronut was pretty dry but might be because it was end of day. The glazed was really nice and soft but felt like a lot after eating the entire thing. And the cinnamon roll was really nice but pretty basic. I liked it but i still prefer sidecar.

I bought a box of donuts most of the donuts were pretty good. However the apple fritter was very much over cooked in fact the edges were burnt. I did not notice it until my husband pointed it out to me when I got home.

When a shop closer to me failed miserably, I contacted Moon Donuts with just 36hrs notice for 3 dozen specialty donuts for my daughter's 'Baby Sprinkle' . They came through! Not only were they gorgeous, all our guests said how delicious they were. Thanks Moon Donuts!! Super grateful!

Badly organized. Might be ok if you are choosing 1 thing for yourself and don't mind waiting. Terrible if you are picking up a pre order. I've picked up here for multiple sports leagues and a kids party. All order in advance and most often weekly repeat orders. Almost every time the order is not ready and the staff don't seem to know anything about it. Impossible to communicate.

By far the best Boston cream doughnuts around. Great tasting dough, great texture, amazing cream, but best of all, they clearly put in the effort to fill those things fat and proper. Just recently discovered it due to a friend graciously picking some up for me, so I'm excited to try what else they have but have no doubt that their other stuff is great too.

We decided to try Moon Donuts because it had the best reviews and closest in our proximity and we're so glad we found this gem. The donuts were delicious! I had a maple donut and boyfriend tried the glazed raspberry filled donut. He couldn't stop raving about this choice. The girls behind the counter are very friendly and their donuts are delicious. Highly recommended. Will return!

I gave this place 5 stars before, but I'm going to edit this review for two reasons. First, I tried a different donut, other than my favorite (the glazed blueberry cake--the best donut you'll ever have) and it was atrocious. Worst donut ever. It was an unglazed old fashioned, but it was soft and spongy and tasted like it was three days old. So for that I will deduct two star. Not sure about the donuts, but their boba drinks were tasty! I had the Taro smoothie and my daughter had the Thai iced tea. Both were delicious. The donuts did look pretty good! The donut selection was very diverse, included bacon toppings, Oreo toppings, and of course the standard fare - glazed, cream filled, chocolate, etc.

The blueberry cheesecake donut is delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the cronut type donuts, the apple cinnamon flavor one has a great flavor, but the cronut base was a bit stale.

I live about 550 miles north of moon Donuts. My son lives in Redondo Beach. There is just never a time I don't stop in and see this wonderful family and have their fantastic product. What a bunch of nice people and what a really good donut they make

These are some good donuts. Light and really big! Not to mention the employees there are extremely nice. I was just visiting town but I will go back next time I am there. Awesome donuts and fantastic staff! That's a 5 star for me.

Great apple fritter, but the big surprise and recommendation to anyone else reading this is the red velvet donut. Super rich chocolate flavor and the frosting is just the right amount of sweetness.

Do NOT get their ?Vietnamese iced coffee?. Does not taste at all like it should, it didn?t have condensed milk and they added artificial syrup for no reason. Overly sweet and over priced. $6 for the worst cup of coffee. Croissants were good.

Super fast and friendly, but the best part is that the dose of donuts are unbelievable. Fresh, soft, moist, tremendous variety. and, they do every variety perfectly. Not too much filling in the filled ones. Not too little glaze on the glazed ones.

Moon donuts has incredibly indulgent donuts. A nice crisp exterior and fluffy interior. Honestly the best you can get for such a cheap price! They?ll always be my favorite treat in the South Bay.

We have been going to this donut shop for 25 years. Moon used to help (and I'm sur still does) the local elementary schools. My son liked their donuts, but eventually became part of the Starbucks group. During finals at law school he discovered that he could take a break, go to Moon, sit at the counter and get an amazing cake donut and good cup of coffee for $2. I don't usually leave reviews but I absolutely love these donuts. They remind me of my favorite donut shop back home in Missouri. I have tried multiple donut shops and hadn't found one I liked until I came across this one.
