Monster Donuts

I have been coming to this location since 2023 when i moved to Texas. Always great service and donuts and kolachees. Totally worth the wait in line! Prompt service, Fresh Food & Friendly staff... All of the donuts are made fresh, and my husband and I especially love the kolaches and glazed donuts.

We love Monster Donuts! This review is long over due. We have been coming here for years and go a couple times of month. Make sure to go early because this is well known donut shop in the area. Sometimes we?ve gone after 11 and it?s already slim pickin. Staff is quick in moving the line and always friendly. I really love getting a heated ham and cheese croissant in addition to our dozen donuts.

Very cool donut shop. Has a whole vibe. Looking at the Totoro drawing on the wall, nomming on some tasty donuts and kolaches, to music from My Neighbor Totoro. Kids got donuts with kitty cats, rainbows, gummy worms, while I had a Bavarian cream filled ?clair, and a couple jalape?o sausage kolaches. All pretty good. Selection seemed limited, but really. They had everything you'd need. Service is swift, building is a small slip in the shopping center. The seating is neat, but limited, and the gender-neutral

The donuts were tasty and had a nice variety of selections. Next time my granddaughter is in town I'll be sure to visit again. She'll love the kid friendly decorations on some of the donuts. Do think they need a website but everything else was above expectations for a neighborhood donuts shop. Also like the unique style of the place.

Some of the best kolaches in Leander/Cedar Park area! The bread is to die for! Must go with the jalape?o kolache, always soft and best bread to ingredients ratio! Lol They're just so good! My family and I have tried MANY kolache places and this one tops our list. Their donuts are also amazing and their staff are all so friendly!

I don?t know how this place is still in buisness. The donuts are good but they are ALWAYS closed. I don?t remember the last time they were open. It?s like the mangers are tired and don?t want to be open? That?s not how you run a business. Beyond frustrating I hope they go out of business and put a new place that will actually stay open.

Wonderful selection of fresh donuts, kolaches, and other confections. Staff are quick and very personable. Prices are competitive for the quality of products you get!

Korean owener and they are very friendly and kind. They have coffee robot inside and their donut is top notch. My favorite is glazed donut and sausage bread

They have a great atmosphere inside and their donuts are different, creative, and delicious. They have some nice non-donut options that are great too. Definitely a nice change of pace from the regular mundane run of the mill donut places around here that have all the same boring average quality donuts.

These donuts melt in your mouth. The glazed donuts and donut holes are the best I have ever had. Hands down, the absolute best. Better than Krispy Kreme and Round Rock Donuts (in my humble opinion). I can?t decide whether I am happy or sad that I have discovered this place so close to my house. ???????????

The best donuts I've ever had. We have been here many times and they are consistently good. The old fashioned cake donut is Devine, the ?clairs and Bavarian cream are incredible. Even their Kolaches are top notch. 10/10 would recommend.

The jalapeno sausage kolaches also have jalapenos backed into the bread next to the sausage. Solid choice for a spicy breakfast. The cake and old fashioned donuts we're fantastic. Really looking forward to more!

Excellent donut experience all the donuts tasted great and the employees there were very friendly, kind and helpful. They gave us a sample of cinnamon bites. They were phenomenal.

Love this place! I wish I took some photos. It's such a fun and interesting donut shop. My kids love to go there and pick out which donuts they like. The most recent trip my son picked a dinosaur chocolate, and my daughter got a pink princess donut. They have monster figurines scattered throughout the store. Truly the best donut shop I?ve found in the area. I moved to NYC and my first stop when I visit family is monster donut for an old fashioned and a spinach puff pastry. The spinach is flaky and dream-worthy. I know that sounds crazy. It?s a donut shop. But don?t forget your greens.

If you would like to ruin all other donut shops for the foreseeable future by all means go here. All other donuts in the area taste mediocre after getting donuts here. Also their breakfast stuff is pretty solid. Staff is always super nice.

Such a surprise on how great the eclairs and kolaches are, so light and airy texture. So good.

Ungodly sweet, dense and oily. Had high hopes after seeing all the positive reviews but was quickly let down.

We love this place! Their kolaches are the best IMO. When my kids were younger, they enjoyed the different designs and holiday themed donuts? honestly even as teenagers they still do ?? I love that I can pop in quickly and get treats for my staff as well. Very friendly and patient staff too!

Fun little donut shop. My kids absolutely love coming here and getting to pick one of the colorful donuts with sprinkles, or a little ring, or a sugar character. Tons of variety in decorations keeps them excited. They also have kolache and sandwich things, but the donuts are definitely the star of the show.

a small business that I'm always excited to visit. the kolaches and premium donuts are my favorites and they're always nice, fluffy, and fresh. the owners are very nice too. I'm going to be moving soon but I'm still planning on going out of my way to keep coming back

Went first thing the morning of November 14th and they were limited in their donut selection. Tried to order 2 different items (cr?me filled donuts and red velvet cake) which they said were not going to be ready for a while.. (no exact time was given in case I wanted to come back) which is quite a bummer! If they need to have a limited menu from 6-7am that might be important for them to expose for customers.

I am not a donut fan, but enjoy these. The texture is always great. Good crunchy exterior and soft in the middle. Surprisingly the cake donuts are really good. Sucker for red velvet and these are fantastic. Family enjoys anytime we pick up on a weekend.

My absolute favorite donut shop in the area (and top 3 of all time). I'm not a local, so I really don't understand the craze about Round Rock donuts. Monster donuts are WAY better, less expensive, and have more variety across the board. I wish they'd open something closer to me, but every now and then, I'll make the trek over to get a big box. In fact, I might do that within the next week, because I'm constantly craving them.

We love the doughnuts and kolaches - they are dangerously good and there is a great selection to cater for all tastes! Staff are always professional and helpful and I have to comment on the extra safety precautions that they are taking in the current pandemic environment - personally I really appreciate the effort to keep their customers and staff safe and healthy. Very nice inside. Calm and clean ?? was my first time going and I got donuts holes. My son loved the chocolate sprinkled donut holes and the glazed were good too! Light and fluffy. I would definitely go back and try other things.

Great selection of high quality fresh donuts, pastries and kolache?s! Very friendly folks, quick service and always with a smile! Love the donut holes, melt in your mouth. Fun place to get donuts with kids! Lots of great designs and they taste good too! It's a sensory explosion. We went at 9:30 on a Saturday and they had plenty to choose from. They close at 1p. So if you go for lunch donuts you may have a limited supply.

I went to Monster Donuts for the first time with my family this morning. I went in expecting it to be your typical gimmicky mediocre donut shop, but my expectations were exceeded in every way. The staff was really friendly, the dough smells amazing, the donuts and kolaches are delicious and the prices are great. We?ll definitely make Monster Donuts a regular Saturday breakfast spot.

The donuts are surprisingly good. They taste very fresh. Had the red velvet cake donut and could easily eat 2 more. Donut holes are dangerously good too. Glad I finally stopped in. Will definitely do so again.

We just moved to Leander and decided to try the donuts shop closest to our house. We found Monster Donuts and we are very pleased we decided to try it. The donuts taste fresh unlike other places where you can taste the rancid oil. They are fluffy and soft and just the right amount of sweetness. We highly recommend it.

The donut holes were definitely our favorite, especially the cinnamon flavor. Party in your mouth! As for the donuts, we tried the glazed - they were light and fluffy, and not overly greasy; and the chocolate iced - good, but we?ve had better. We also tried the cinnamon cake donut - it had a perfect texture, soft and cakey, not too dense. If you?re in the mood for donuts, these are close and convenient and definitely better than grocery donuts. I would give them a try.

Love this donut shop! Their prices are extremely reasonable and their donuts are outstanding! I crave their cinnamon donut holes all the time! The store is extremely clean and their service is always spectacular. The only downfalls are that there isn?t much seating and they?re closed on Mondays. Otherwise, they?re fantastic!

I love this place it seriously has the best all around donuts, usually donut places will have either good donuts and trash kolaches but monster can truly do both! Best donut place I have ever been to. Donuts are always Supercross, cooked in new oil, and there are so many selections. Do your self a favor and get the buttermilk cinnamon old fashioned.....no words for how good it is.

I really love this place. Everything is always fresh and very good. They have some really fun donuts and neat combos of items. The staff is always friendly and quick. The hardest part of coming here is not coming back every day. This is a great shop that for sure needs to be on your list of for sure stops.

The donuts here are amazing. We are new to the area and needed to find a donut spot. These are made fresh and melt in your mouth. The inside is so cozy and cute like a store front on the east coast. Can't wait to go back!

When I looked at the pics I was impressed of how different their donuts looked. You can tell because of the icing looks good quality. I had to drive 16mins away to try them out. I almost didn't. So glad I did! Hands down the best place I've been to that wasn't a chain. (I love DD and Krispy Kreme). I saw the blueberry donut and I saw chunks of blueberry! Both food, service, and accessibility is great, they have donuts, kolaches, Apple tart, and much more. They can heat up thr kolache if you want to, I'm not sure about wheelchair accessibility. But besides that, it's not far away. It's awesome and I'd love to go every week

Best Kolaches (okay they're really Klobasneks) in town by far!! I honestly haven't had better outside of West, Tx. The ratio of bread to meat and cheese (and jalapeno) is spot on!! Love it and so glad y'all are nearby!

I got a monster energy drink, a dozen donut holes, and 2 donuts for 5 dollars. This place is amazing, they could probably even charge more for their delicious donuts

You cannot buy donuts in dozens or half dozens even though the menu says so. Every time we've been in we are charged individually per donut at a much higher price. The donuts are ok.

Great place to get some cool donuts for the kids and yourself. Everything is very fresh. But you still cannot eat inside and there's no seating outside. Not a big deal but something to plan for.

I love their selection, but they are constantly closed at times that makes no (business) sense. They were closed the Friday (today) before Thanksgiving break. 5 people drove up and left when I was there. There was also a young boy who had rode his bike there to get breakfast. Monster donuts is closed for Thanksgiving break, but everyone else is open and the local achools haven't even started break yet. Seems like a poor decision on their part.

The fritter was choice, Dense but lightly flakey on top. the place has some cool decorations, with lots of figures on display. be careful with the donut holes. they are little clouds of deliciousness that feel like you're eating nothing.

Honestly the best donut shop around. I have NEVER had a donut from here I didn't absolutely love. It's always very busy yet somehow the line moves incredibly fast. Prices are so fair and staff is so friendly.

Absolutely amazing cinnamon donut holes. Before I left the parking lot the entire dozen was gone. Wish the size of donuts were a tad bigger. We went(or tried to go) today for the first time. We went about 11am and the case was more than half empty. They had sprinked donut holes and a few other random flavors but that was all. I asked the guy when they would have more cinnamon holes since that was what we came for after reading the reviews, but he kind of laughed and said he "didn't know and I should come another day before 10". He asked us to move so he could help someone else so we ended up just leaving. Not good customer service at ALL.

Donut shops are a dime a dozen but this unique, Kaiju themed place stands apart. The dough was flaky and delicious. Not all donuts are created equal. Try this place and you'll get it.

When I walked into the store I thought it was a very nice place but then the older lady taking my order was very rude so I will never go back.

The manager in the Crystal Falls location is extremely rude and sarcastic. She thinks it?s okay to laugh and respond as if people are a joke and apparently her employees are starting to copy her poor example. Place is cute and all but for me management was too unprofessional. They just lost a handful of costumers because my colleges and I won?t be going back there.

Best donuts I've had. Always stick with the Regular cakes, glazed or frosted. They have other great and delicious looking donuts but I'm a classics type of guy.

I had decided that I wanted to get some donuts and kolaches for me and the kids this morning. I found this place on Google Maps, and WOW! They do a bunch of creative "Monster Donuts", plus they're definitely the best around here. Highly recommend!

I thought the donuts were small and probably the worst I have ever tasted. The oily taste was disgusting and they were very expensive. 6 donuts cost me almost 7 dollars...I purchased 2 jelly there was nothing in them. I don't recommend and will never go back.

Fresh! Eat them day of because they don't stand up to the test of time! The donuts change periodically but you can always get your favorites like bacon maple! Yummy!

After reading all the positive reviews I decided to give em a try. Soon as I walked in the door I seen there measly selection. I mean 7-11 and HEB has a better selection lol. At least I'll know not to go back :)

Expensive for small donuts which taste like reused oil. Cinnamon roll are good. Would pay this price if the there where more coffee choices.
