Father?s Day brunch with no prices posted. Was told $25 a person after sitting down. Didn?t feel right to walk out. $60.76 for two. Coffee was extra. I guess steak was included but if you didn?t have steak the price should have been lowered. While we were there didn?t see anyone get steak at 10am. Most of the serving pans were empty and the food was lukewarm and not very appealing. The best looking item was the cinnamon roll but they were huge who would pay $25 for a cinnamon roll??? Another customer was ex

It's a new tradition my best friend and I are doing. We take each other out for breakfast on our birthdays. The service is perfect. Not so crowded. It reminds me of our old hangout as a teenager. Highly recommended.

Visited on a Saturday morning, was a slight wait for a table to open up but no line. Very straightforward breakfast place with what seemed to be home baked bread (excellent). Food came out quickly. We did have to flag down a server for coffee refills and to get the check but as I said it was busy.

We had great breakfast here before hiking Mt. Monadnock, our server was very friendly and we had great conversations about traveling and all the staff we interacted with were great. Our food was delicious and had great portions and was very filling and at a great deal as well. Would highly recommend and will be back.

I visited this restaurant in the middle of the week but unfortunately, it was anything but enjoyable. The dining room was practically empty, with only one other table seated besides my own. I came with two friends, and we all ordered omelets with coffee. While the food didn?t take too long to arrive, the portions were laughable. Each of us barely received any home fries alongside our omelets, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. On top of that, our coffee cups were never refilled, even though the restaurant was

Beware! This place is disgusting!!!! When I was there, I saw the worker picking his nose and then touching money. Another worker sneezing on the food. Ewewew! I saw brownish/black things on the floor and looked close and discovered rat poop. Eat there at your own risk for disease and sickness. ??????????

We've always had a great experience here. We've ordered take-out weekly for 3 months, and never had a problem. But today changed my opinion of this diner. When I called to order, I was put on hold for several minutes until I hung up. This happens, they must have been busy. I called back a few minutes later and placed my order. They said 15-20 minutes which is normal for a "busy" day. No problem, I always plan for around that. When I got to the restaurant, they didn't have an order in under my name, and i

Good breakfast options, with daily specials too. A great diner style breakfast. The corned beef hash was cooked perfectly, as were the eggs. They offer lunch options and they serve beer and mimosas. The service was amazing, our server was sweet and attentive. Great kids options available and lots of parking.

What a great cafe-diner experience! My daughter had Eggs Benedict and I had the French Toast both very good. The menu is simple and the prices are incredibly reasonable giving breakfast is becoming the new ?dinner experience? in the northeast as it has been for almost five plus years on the west coast. The staff was super friendly and given to exemplary service. Our server was Nick and we were super impressed with his positive attitude and genuine concern given his young age. I hope to get back soon to try

Went for breakfast and it was great!! Portions were generous and staff was all very friendly!!! Thank you Monadnock Cafe...????

This is a great little place for a home cooked breakfast. It's not fancy at all but clean and presentable. Food is good, and pricing is more than fair. Wait staff are attentive and pleasant. They have tables and counters to sit at. Menu is not super extensive, but I consider that a plus in helping to make decisions, especially when you're hungry. Omelets, pancakes, and other traditional breakfast items are available. Have not been there for lunch yet, but my expectations would probably be the same. Simple g

I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt on at least 4 separate times. Each visit is worse then the last spanning 2 years. Today was ridiculous. They were busy-ish not horrible still available tables. Waited for over 30 minutes for our food I had to leave so I paid and my girls stayed for their meal that took an additional 15 minutes that wasn?t complete. She never went by and check on the girls and the food as usual was subpar. My meal that my girls boxed up for me was wrong I can not eat t

This place is great. There is just one server and if it gets busy there could be a delay. This server working is terrific and proficient

Amazing customer service! Highly recommend this place foods great and the atmosphere is very welcoming! I have to give it a solid ?????????? rating all around

I'd come back if only just for the home fries! But the rest of the menu is wonderful and well priced. It has become a favorite breakfast spot of mine, and I always recommend it to others.

Great breaky and brunch place. Hot Momma Eggs Bene is my all time favorite, always pair with a carafe of mimosas for the ultimate brunch experience.

We visited this diner with a party of four recently for Sunday breakfast. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very prompt, cordial, and took our order. She always kept our coffee cups filled. The food was fresh, cooked to order, and reasonable portions. Prices were standard for breakfast items. We highly recommend this diner for breakfast. Free and plentiful parking.

Food was delicious. Came out quick. Quaint little place. Prices are average.

We are in from Colorado for a wedding and we met the owner of the cafe at The Monadnock Inn as we were checking in. Went in on a Friday night for some dinner with my partner and Grandparents. Service was attentive and very kind. Food was fast and delicious with a hometown feel. Prices were on point! The owner was a great host and very kind as well. We will remember this experience for the rest of our lives! Well done!

We just went this weekend while camping at a local State Park. The service was quick and friendly and we met the chef. The place was clean and tidy. The cheese on the cheese omelette was a little too gooey and the coffee was kind of weak but overall we really enjoyed our meals and went twice. The cinnamon roll and pumpkin muffins were to die for!! If you're looking for good comfort diner food I recommend it! We don't live too far and when we're in the area again we'll definitely be back.

Don?t eat here! If we had visited the bathroom first we would have walked out totally disgusting!!! Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like. Waitress was nice. Side of ham was over cooked so she took it off our bill. Food was overpriced and just average. It?s not a 4.3 star place.

This place is the real deal. Great hearty diner food at reasonable prices. Coffee was hot.

I'm new to the area and have been driving past this diner for a few months. Today I finally got a chance to stop in for breakfast and I'm definitely glad I did! The place is cute and homey, the service was prompt and friendly, and I enjoyed my eggs benedict very much. I got a cinnamon roll to go and it was also delicious. I'll definitely be back!

The service is excellent! The waitress was so nice! And the food is just as good! The booths are very comfortable! 10/10 rating!! It was nice and quiet when we went at around 1. So amazing!

Great waffles and pancakes, wonderful young staff. Saw Carly on her second day as a waitress handle the uncalled for verbal assault from a particularly crabby customer. This encounter was handled with a surprising amount of grace for someone so young and new to the job. She immediately returned to her work with other tables in a calm and collected manner. Very lovely little diner, definitely coming back.

We have been here 3 times now and have enjoyed our meal all 3 times.. The service has always been good although we did have to wait for our food all 3 times. There are plenty of options and we have gone with a group of 4 all 3 times and everyone has gotten exactly what they asked for. The prices are reasonable and we only had to wait a short time for a seat once. This may be our go to for Sunday breakfast from now on.

We did not have to wait to be seated. We took a few minutes to think about what we wanted. The waitress came over and my wife gave her order. I asked what type of meat was in the meat lovers omelet. The waitress said "I think sausage" I asked what other meats are in the meat lovers omelet. She said "I am not sure". I asked if she could find out for me before I ordered. She said "OK" but just stood there and looked at me. She finally turned and asked a man sitting at a table beside us and she seemed

Absolutely delicious food and large portions for the price. Every time I go, it is very crowded. It is a small place and there is usually just one waitress. My server is always rude and rushed. I've had multiple servers and they all act the same. I don't know if they're just stressed over how busy it always is. I would go all the time if the place was bigger and the servers more polite. The food is definitely worth it.

Monadnock Country Cafe is a relaxed locally owned country cafe. Yes, sometimes refills on coffee can be slow, or you may have to ask for the check. However the food and food service is always top notch. We always have been served the food as soon as it?s done being cooked and it?s always hot and yummy! The cinnamon rolls are to die for!

My girlfriend and I usually go here once a week and it?s normally a good experience but today I asked for a regular cheeseburger and the waitress didn?t listen to me and thought I said I wanted a Bacon lover?s cheeseburger which cost me $3-$4 extra. If the waitresses are not sure of what the customer wants they need to ask rather than assume and cost the customer more money by doing it. I like the owners and the restaurant but today was just not a good experience.

The food was weird. Waitress recommended pancakes... they had a strange smell that lingred as an odd aftertaste. My Wife's Ruben looked good... But the thousand Island dressing wasn't... It was tarter sauce with ketchup added, and very very tarter. My daughter ordered poutine, and said the gravy wasn't right... another strange lingering flavor. On the positive side, our waitress was very nice and accommodating, and the other patrons seemed to be regulars... where the waitresses knew their orders by heart

We have been here three times. Food is always great!

Great service! Super clean restaurant! I liked that the food was fresh, not covered in grease, simply prepared. The new owners did a very nice job updating and they were friendly.

asked is your hash homemade. waitress had no clue, asked, and told me yes. they brought me hash browns, sent back and got hash..from a can, not homemade. the waitress said shes from the south so she doesnt know. what? how about you train your staff properly..oh and it was 18.53 for 3 pieces of french toast, a bacon egg and cheese and the hash and coffee..the sandwich was over 6 dollars! I will say the waitress was very nice, although aloof, and the french toast was good so I gave 3 stars rather than 1. lots

Food was good, but was charged $1.00 extra for mayo packets even though we asked for mayo on the burger and they did not put any. They never mentioned that the mayo packets would be extra. Also not told that sourdough toast was .50 cent extra. It's not the $1.50 it's not being told that it is extra.

If you like a small, intimate dining experience with local people of the town, this is for you. Great food with kind staff! Excellent!

Very busy place but I think it is the only place around. The Eggs Benedict were good, the French toast was average. The sausage was "brown and serve", which is not very good. Very friendly people work there. I don't think we will be going again.

A lot of the items on the menu they did not have? The staff did not show any interest in us. We had to keep asking them for service. I will not go back.

A good place for breakfast. We took friends there who were staying with us and we all found something to enjoy. The food was good (my husband got lobster Benedict - I don't usually like Benedict much but it was very good) with good portions, and a decent price. It has a diner atmosphere so don't expect fancy (though I love the bright green walls ;))

Has gotten too expensive. I get prices have gone up, but this place is getting excessive compared to other area diners / restaurants. The food has always been okay, but it?s no longer worth the money in my opinion.

The food is always great and the wait staff and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. I usually eat here about 2-4 times a month. Love this place!

Great breakfast and lunch spot. Clean and modern atmosphere. Very attentive staff, good food and prices

Always a great breakfast. Never had a bad meal. Plus service is excellent, and the people are friendly and polite.

Awesome veggie omelettes there and great toast and home fries too

Stay away. Slowwww service due to kitchen issues. Food was, at best, poor. Gave them one star because waitress was cheerful, attentive and helpful despite obvious kitchen problems.

Stopped for lunch during a beautiful autumn foliage ?road trip?. With COVID, you?re never sure of what you?ll find and here we found a treasure. Our waitress, Cindy, first thoroughly cleaned our table and then proceeded to be so personable aand professional

A number of times dining here and you feel like you're home. Food is abundant and fresh and down home cooking. Fish Friday is oh so good.

We always have a pleasant experience when we go here. The staff and owners are very friendly and food is good.

This is a small eating place in the next town over from me that I'll visit once or twice a month. I've always experienced good service and food cooked just as I ask for it to be.

Had an omlette custom made with home fries. Excellent omelette and portion was huge. Very fairly priced and friendly staff and owners. Will come often!

I go every weekend for breakfast, service is always good and food as well. Prices are right where they should be. Highly suggest

This is our new favorite spot! Love the atmosphere and staff! Food is great! We look forward to breakfast here each week!

Everything was very delicious and service was wonderful! Very kind and attentive waitresses and the owner was very friendly too!

Food and service was excellent. Atmosphere is relaxed and very country. Well worth the trip!

Food was very good. Service was friendly, but they were stingy with the butter, and charged me for a sm cup of syrup.

Best food in town!! And everyone is very friendly! Short wait time and excellent customer service!!

They have great food and the staff are extremely friendly and polite. Love having a mimosa with breakfast, like being on vacation.

Fabulous breakfasts!! Great service staff...delicious homemade muffins. Small but super comfy & clean with nice new booths.

New owners are doing everything right. Food is good. Helping sizes are good. Good tastes fresher. We'll keep going back

Went for father's day breakfast and it was excellent. Our new breakfast place!

Love this place, great food and it feels like home. If I had the time I would go every day for lunch or breakfast.

It was convenient to where I was going. I walked in as they were closing, but they gladly let me order a meal. They were kind. Thank you.

Great food, pleasant staff, a little worn looking, however would return

Hometown diner for breakfast, friendly wait staff

Very disappointed that all the staff were maskless. Not one of them had a mask. Also they allowed people walk into restaurant without masks even though they had a sign on the door saying masks were required.

Quality of food is good, the kitchen is slow. Overall decent place, just need to step it up in the kitchen.

What! Only 5 stars? The best food and service in New England! You must try it. If you don?t live nearby, just move!

Always love coming here. Staff always make you feel welcome and treat you like family. Food is amazing

Smaller side portions. It was breakfast... Breakfast is simple, one has to want to make it bad in order for it to happen.

Very nice staff and amazing food. Absolutely worth checking out and dining in.

Great place lots of food, but most importantly taste, there cook is always right on

Now called monadnock country cafe. Very sad about how this has turned out. Very cheap tasting like it came from a can from the dollar store. Servings on the sides are maybe enough for one or two tablespoons. Very dissapointed.

For the price not worth it and waited over 45 minutes for our food it wasnt that busy sounded like they only have 1 cook and they are very disorganized when it comes to which server is where for what tables.

Food is always fantastic! One of my favorite places to grab a quick lunch

The staff was very attentive and very knowledgeable. They did not rush us thru our breakfast.

The food tasted ok. But shortly after I left I was beyond sick. I have never had this happen before. The friend that was with me also got sick.

This is a nice country place to meet and to eat good food at reasonable prices. The Staff are awesome!

When you go for breakfast You are part of the local crowd Get a western with baked beans and a fresh grilled muffin.. Bring a newspaper to read with your coffee... and enjoy..

Good food, nice people, expect slow service though

Nice little spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Great people! Good food too!

Great people. Great food. But none of the staff were wearing masks. ??

So careful with gluten free orders! Having Celiac Disease, this is something that I truly appreciate.

85 percent of the time I go there my order is always messed up. Something missing or brought when halfway through meal.

Great staff, and awesome food cooked the way you like it.

Great breakfast or lunch at great prices. The service is good too.

Great place too pick up an ice coffee after hiking Monadnock!

Great food, nice people, relatively good service

Down home cooking. Friendly staff. Fast service. Worth a stop.
