Mochitori - Korean Fried Chicken & Snacks

Mochitori - Korean Fried Chicken & Snacks

Reviews Summary

The restaurant receives mixed reviews, with many praising the Korean fried chicken (especially soy garlic and sweet spicy flavors) and mochi donuts for being delicious, crispy, and well-seasoned. Positive feedback highlights friendly staff and good portion sizes. However, several complaints cite inconsistent quality, unprofessional delivery service (late orders, wrong items, rude drivers), and occasional hygiene issues. Some find the chicken lacking flavor or authenticity, while others criticize long wait times and poor customer service. The donuts and corn dogs are frequently mentioned as standout items, but service and consistency need improvement.

Totally a hidden Korean spot for their street food and mochi donuts! Limited seats so they majorly do delivery. (The owner said they r famous for their Korean-style fried chicken, definitely visit again for that.) ?????????Donut was so chewy, soft, and flavored! I love my injeolmin flavor which was powdered soybean. Gentle taste, not too sweet. Highly recommended? ???Original corn dog was totally delicious too. I got half mozzarella half hot dog to try both, the outside bread was chewy, crispy, melted wit

Can?t say good enough words. This is the only place I?ll truly miss when we move from Hoboken. Boneless chicken with soy garlic sauce is the tastiest in the world. Everything on the menu is great. Donuts are amazing, light and fluffy as well. You just have to come and try it for yourself.

Best Korean Fried Chicken restaurant, the name suggests it all. Not that expensive, not that cheap either, but the quality of the food is really amazing. Takes around 20 minutes to deliver food after the order is taken. Highly recommended one in Hoboken.

Really yummy mochi donuts that matched our birthday theme perfectly. They were a huge hit with our guests.

Amazing wings. Tried soy garlic and sweet and spicy both of them were delicious. Very crispy & juicy!! Highly recommended

delicious food! and the woman working is so sweet. this place really deserves more recognition!! the food tastes so good. got the half and half and full beef corndogs and both were a genuine 10/10. i eat korean corn dogs a lot and this place genuinely had great food. the corndogs were crispy, it wasn?t doughy and wet inside (like a lot of other places) and the flavors of the sauces they had were great as well. my partner and I went ?mmmmm? with each bite which is so rare when it comes to food. I?ve tried ab

Chicken Factory is the best chicken in the town everrr? Forgot to take a photo of the chicken :( the donuts ?? for the dessert is amazing at the same time beautiful design. They are perfect for the party food and dessert ??or for your office as well. Also we ordered drinks and drinks was great too. Easy to have everything at once. I?ll definitely recommend it to anyone.

I got Binimbap and let me just say it?s one of my favorites now! Their food is always fresh and tasty. Highly recommend the Mochi donuts, they are a must try!

Excellent korean fried chicken! In the picture is a soy garlic wings+drumsticks, fries, kimchi, and coleslaw (all small). We also adventured with the hot cheetos sausage corn dog that was surprisingly good. Note that there's only 8 chairs and the chicken can take up to 25 minutes to be served

I found this place by luck and by also some googling. I originally go to NYC for some Korean corn dogs but I?m so glad I found one in Hoboken. i got the hot Cheetos covered Korean corn dogs (all mozzarella) and let me tell you something IT WAS PERFECT. It had the best flavor and the balance between spice and a cheese was perfect. It literally was a party in my mouth. And the lovely owner sells mochi donuts they were soo good. The perfect flavors and has amazing ones. She usually sells out pretty quickly so

Mochi tori is a cute and quaint little place that serves tasty korean comfort food and delicious mochi donuts. Their donuts better than dunkin donuts. Highly recommend this place!

Way too expensive for quality. Chicken is crispy but lacks flavor. Prices comparable to the Korean chicken chain that rhymes with FonShon but much less tasty. Ordered half sweet and spicy (which was not spicy at all) and plain and quickly realized their chicken needs some kind of sauce otherwise it is very bland. Not for me.

The chicken is so crunchy and tender and the mochi donuts are also so chewy and not too sweet. The pickled radish that comes with the chicken is a really nice palate cleanser.

Wings were great, but for $18 for 12 I'd imagine they'd be a little bigger/come in a bigger portion. Both flavors were great. That Korean corn dog is amazing, got the half cheese half dog with the potato crust. Would definitely recommend

My Childhood memory still lives on. I lives in Hoboken a little over decades this place is my go to for early dinner. Sometimes me and my late husband John ordered to go. They made to order so you might want to call them then pick up in 15-20 mins. They also do delivery. The wings are flavorful I love garlic & spicy sauce and the owners are lovely Korean husband and wife so definitely I?m honored to try this authentic recipes. I was the neighbor upstairs they really use only qualities produced. I want to le

This is a copy cat of BonBon Chicken, that famous Korean fried chicken fast food outlet. Located on Washington St in the heart of Hoboken's main thoroughfare, this place does a decent version of the sweet, fried, chicken wings and drumsticks. They have other Korean specialties... But we've never seen an Asian working here, so don't expect authentic tastes. Prices are decent... While the service is bland.

Really crispy wings with right amount of sweet and spicy sauce made this one of the best wings I've ever had. The wings seemed to be made fresh too! Also this is the amount of wings present in their small pack which is quite a lot. So keep that in mind when ordering.

A lil? apprehensive at first due to parking; however I?m glad I didn?t let that stop me. Customer service A+, food+??we?ll definitely be back!

Ordered large sweet and spicy wings and drumsticks, tasted good until towards the end. Found a long fine piece of hair in with the chicken. Not sure I will return

I am from Massachusetts but my brother lives in the area and we Googled and found this restaurant. The lady here was so nice and the food is delicious. She told me Happy New and thanks for trying her restaurant. Thanks for the great service!

the most beautiful and delicious donuts i have ever eaten. they?re soft, chewy, and absolutely gorgeous to look at. highly recommend!!

Everything was perfect until they no longer offer "notes" or "sauce on side" option in the uber or other delivery apps and straight up put the sauce in. No matter how long it takes for the food to be delivered (20mins and sometimes 50mins), the wings are all soggy. Please change back and offer "sauce on side" option. The wings were perfect if they are not soggy

Amazing food! Staff were lovely and the place was so pretty!

Got the house chicken wrap, costed $15, found it expensive for a wrap but the quantity is comparable. The taste was great too.

We always order wings from this place, they are very good and the best within Hoboken; very crispy and different options of sauce, either mix or on the side. We also tried their mochi donuts and I was surprised, very delicious!! Totally recommended.

I ordered a mozzarella dog with potatoes on the outside on Uber eats and the description didn?t say anything about it being covered in sugar. Uber eats also did not give the option to choose not to have sugar on there. I?ve seen this has become a trend at similar places that sell these corn dogs and I?ve seen they also put sugar on them at similar places. Please stop putting sugar on top of corn dogs and mozzarella dogs. Sugar does not go together with these foods, it?s unnecessary, does not taste good, and

Not sure if this is a legit Korean Fried Chicken restaurant. The drumstick and wings both lack flavor. They are good, but lacks a bit of flavor. The sweet spicy flavor also lacks spiciness which is a bummer for people like me who actually enjoy spicy foods in my opinion. I can?t say much about the service because I ordered online for pickup. Upon arriving, my order was ready which was good I guess for a Friday night order. I?ll probably give it another shot next time I?m in the area.

Fried chicken was dried (overcooked) with not enough sauce. Normally, it?s cooked well. The corndog was good, but I didn?t like the sugar sprinkled on top. Corndog was very large and batter was soft and fluffy (homemade).

The serving size is fairly large but I have a few big issues with this place. The menu is limited to like 5 different things, prices jump from lunchtime to dinnertime and the chicken wrap that I ordered had no real flavor whatsoever, it's as if they didn't season the chicken before they cooked it. The fries however, were really crispy and the sauce you get with every order makes the food tolerable.

The drumsticks were juicy and tasted clean! But the "plain" sauceless adventure left our palates longing for more excitement. Even I, the salt-sparing champion, think that both the meat and the batter could use some more salt and maybe a dash of curry powder to level up the flavor game..!

Crack Chicken! Need I day more? It is a small place but they deliver and the lunch special is perfect. $10 for portion control rice, cold slaw and wings...soy garlic or spicy or half/half. Delicious ?? never disappoints. Lunch special avail but not on the online menu.

Love spicy chicken. The best K chicken ever so far. Drive 1 hr to satisfy and manage my chicken craving. And alway works??????. If you get luck, you can park right in front of the store and have a steamy hot crispy juicy yummy yumyum chicken piece or 2 in the car. My lucky day was today. ??Try!!! Dont forget to grab a tea with pearls and jelly. Wish opening no. 2 in north bergen.

Juicy, crispy, flavorful chicken A feast for the senses and the stomach A must-try for Korean food lovers Korean BBQ Chicken Factory is a hidden gem for Korean cuisine enthusiasts. The restaurant's flavorful and tender BBQ chicken dishes are an absolute delight.

Some of the best chicken I've ever had, it's not very heavily breaded and very crisp. The two flavors they offer are both great and you can't go wrong with either of them. The only points of consideration are that the wait can be 30-45 mins for prep and the food can be a bit pricey. All things considered it's definitely worth it and some of the best chicken I've had.

They are so nice and the food is so good! Don't really write reviews and recommendations, but I have to! Great place to grab a quick bite, really recommend!

A legit korean chicken place in Hoboken??? What??? I didn?t believe it so i havent ordered it till now. It definitely blew my expectations!! Delicious crispy chicken and the sauce does not overpower. Well done.

Service was kinda slow but I'll be back for the fried chicken! So good.

Really tasty Korean fried chicken - both the regular and spicy are great, though the other stuff on the menu leaves a bit to be desired. Be warned that the spicy sauce - while not excruciatingly spicy - is sticky and will burn the skin around your mouth if you don't eat neatly.

Dry chicken, small size. Really expensive for what it is. Sauces were sugary and bland. Not spicy at all. Icing on the cake was that their desserts are just corner store junk food. Hard to find good fried chicken. Fort Lee area is the only way to go for the good stuff.

I spent the last five months in SE Asia where I became obsessed with Korean fried chicken, so I?m really happy Hoboken ? not known for having very interesting restaurants in general ? has this place. The food isn?t earth-shattering but it?s exactly as it should be for a cheap-and-cheerful chicken place. Had the spicy fried and it was delicious. Will definitely be ordering whenever I get a craving for Korean fried chicken. ????????????

This place gets only 3 stars because food needs a little more flavor. I have tried korean fried chicken at other places and are much better. Food is very "simple and mediocre " for the price. I tried the wings and drums ....I got 2 big pieces of drums and the rest looked like pigeon legs.... yeah that tiny!!!....

If you're too lazy to take the path for AUTHENTIC Korean Fried Chicken in NYC, this PLACE IS THE CLOSEST spot for your famous Soy Garlic wings. Although, I've had better quality as far as flavoring and batter. The only downfall about this restaurant is the wait time. Normally, "KFC" will take about 35-40 minutes (even less) to make at other korean restaurant . Whoever is cooking in the back makes the wait a little longer. I once waited over an HOUR for a small batch of fried wings and THIS WAS NOT A DELIVER

Highly recommend the Lunch special- Fried chicken+ rice+ coleslaw is delicious and great value Tried the sweet-spicy (excellent) and soy-garlic (if you prefer more subtle) toppings for chicken

The food is delicious, but the service is frustrating. I've walked in 30 minutes before closing to be told they wouldn't take my order because it was too late. I tried to order delivery and was told I was too far, by one block and they were too busy to bring the food. Other restaurants don't have these problems. Chicken Factory needs to figure out how to serve customers better. When I want food from them I'm beginning think the answer will likely be "no."

I'm a huge fan of their chicken here, and the lady who works here is always very nice. PSA: you can get half soy garlic and half sweet spicy if you're stuck between them or looking to split with someone.

Mochitoris from here were a big hit with my son?s class. Everyone loved it. I bought these for my son?s birthday for the birthday snack they can take to school instead of the traditional cupcake or cake pop thing I do every year.

Ordered chicken bibimbap through uber eats, it was okay, nothing great. I prefer gogi grill. It is possible that by the time uber eats delivered the food it was already semi cold and did not taste good as a result. Being close to nyc and the great korea town restaurants have spoilt us. This does not compare.

This place was wonderful and had incredible service!!! We had a birthday in the group and without telling them they came out gave us donuts and sang happy birthday for the group!!! Incredible time and even better people!!! Definitely will be coming back more offten!!

The best chicken in jersey and the best donuts!!! Definitely recommend this place !!!

I love everything from this place. Love the mochi donuts and bibimbap. For the chicken the portions are huge so really worth the money.

As a Korean American who lives in Hoboken, I'm torn about giving this place a poor review because this is the only Korean-ish restaurant in Hoboken and I wish there were more. But as much as I tried to like them, I just didn't enjoy my experience there. The chicken was okay. We got a mixed drumstick/wing plate. I think the wings are better because the proportion of batter to meat is probably higher and you get more of the tasty flavoring. The chicken was pretty good but it not as good as Kyochon. At first

This place has good food - not great, but good. Where it fails dramatically is in customer service. My first time was in person and the woman behind the counter was pretty much annoyed that I had questions. She was dismissive and seemed more interested in watching her baby sleep in the cradle behind the register than serving me. It was early afternoon - I was the only person there. I went for a twenty minute walk only to come back and find my order was only half prepared. I figured it was a glitch but

i got the korean corndog and sprite it was good and all but the corndog didnt have alot of cheese it was hollow. My dad git a green tea SUPER bland and it was dirty where you drink out of it and they told us to get a new one and that was ALSO dirty???????

Never ordering from this place again.....ordered at 8:25 and it is now 10:06 and their store is supposedly closed by now and they still haven't delievered. If I could cancel the order I would but it was ordered online. BonChon from Grove St would have been better and faster! Update its 10:10 and they finally delivered cold french fries and half warm wings. We ordered a large and small wings with fries and it took 1hr 45 minutes. This is a disgrace to the food profession and they should be ashamed of the

The chicken is great and the donughts are awesome especially the blueberry-lemon. The girl working behind the counter is so sweet and helpful.

I love the soy garlic wing. They're crispy and well seasoned. It's not everyday that I pick up a box from chicken factory but every time I do, it's a delight.

Wonderful authentic Korean-style chicken place! Fresh food and friendly service. I always visit this place to pick up hot spicy chicken whenever I visit Hoboken. Strongly recommended!!

It's the only and the best Best korean style fried chicken in hoboken. It's great for delivery but no mood to dine in.. Try soy garlic and spicy w extra sauce on the side.

Amazing Korean spicy chicken! It tastes authentic and flavorful. It's our go-to food when wanting some quick and easy dinner.

The delivery service is terrible! The first time I ordered the food for delivery took me 2 hours to wait my food delivered. The second time I have never received my food, and I give them a call to check my delivery status, they told me it?s delivered but nothing has been delivered to my address! After that, they just hanged up my calls! I won?t have any of food from them.

I loved the food and the staff is so nice.. They even kept my kids happy.. the whole is experience was great.. I will definitely go back..

Ordered food. Was given wrong food by delivery driver. Then delivery driver texts me cursing at me and calling me a thief bc he made a Mistake!? I called the store and they apologized but didn?t even say they would fire him. He said I hope you order again. Do not order from this place they?re extremely unprofessional.

The chicken is great. Bibimbap is more of a rice salad, but good. Can be a little slow if you don't order ahead.

Best Korean style fried chicken in town.

The wings are too dry and small. Not juicy at all. I ordered three times from here and both times it was dry and small wings... so disappointed, I guess I need to order from boom boom chicken .. they are much more juicer and bigger bigs

fried chicken is good, salad is ordinary/not up to standard and delivery is very slow and often 30min +/- late !!! you want us to starve to death ?

Awesome spot. Very good chicken tenders and desserts. Good service

The mochi donuts are amazing! I had the cheesecake flavor and it was so yummy and perfectly chewy.

We love Chicken Factory. The food is fresh and unique. The service is outstanding. It is the best take out in Hoboken!

Great food Everytime. Edit: food still good but whoever is spicing the lemon pepper needs to take their meds.

Absolutely delicious!! Perfectly crispy as you'd expect from Korean fried chicken and the fries are equally as good!!

The food is always good. The chicken is always on point and delicious . My salad was fresh and well prepared

B E S T!!! fried chicken ??. There's a 20 min wait but its so worth it!. Definitely, please give them a try. You won't regret it!

Love the taste of chicken here. Make sure you are asking for the sweet and spicy type.

They actually gave my order to someone else the person walked out with my order opened it and realized they had the wrong order gave it back to the cashier already opened she then started small talk with me hoping I wouldn?t realize or say something she tried to give me the order that was already opened outside not good at all so unprofessional id rather go back to bonchon

Hoboken NJ location was packed with "Order pick-up" crowd only 1 table for eat in

The chicken is fantastic I love it I go two to three times a week best chicken I ever ate

Best Korean fried chicken I have eaten !! Fries are delicious and crispy too and the garden salad is also really good !!

Me and mina think that the donuts are very good and the workers are super nice. highly highly highly recommend!!! very affordable pricing as well

The best chicken I've ever had. Absolutely the love of my chicken life

Possibly the best and I ever had. Looking forward to trying the mochi donuts.

Chicken is amazing! Takes about 15 -20 minutes to complete order so order ahead

Big mistake. Where did they get these scrawny chickens? Heavy coating and rather greasy. Totally disappointed and just over fried til the meat filled with grease.

We ordered sweet potatoe noodles with vegetables and bulgoki. Very disappointing because there was no meat at all.

DELICIOUS CHICKEN!!!! So yummy and kind workers. Probably the most best chicken place in Hoboken!!

I had soy garlic chicken this morning for the first time. Taste was great.

I go here very often for lunch and get their Soy Garlic. Very friendly people great food
