The drinks there I love all of them especially their boba they have a pretty good variety to choose from. The mochi donuts though I didn?t personally like them they were a bit too greasy and made my stomach hurt. Overall I love to go there to get a quick drink in the day I would recommend trying.
I try to stay away from this place otherwise I?d end up with a box of mochinut donuts and eat them all in one seating! They are so good! The have rotating flavors so always something new to try! Not to mention their famous rice dogs and bubble tea!
Got a couple very different things from this place. One of them was a strawberry shortcake mochi donut and the other was a mozzarella Korean ricedog Starting with the mochi donut - it wasn't bad, but not my favorite either. I get the concept of this fusion creation, but it doesn't feel fully necessary in my opinion. The doughnut wasn't really fluffy or moist - and it didn't have much of a chew to it. The strawberry flavor was also mild as well On the contrary, I did find the cheese dog to be a lot better.
Ordered cherry, matcha and red velvet donuts. They were really good. Glaze was a little sweet though. Donuts had different shape and they were soft. Liked red velvet one the best. Also, ordered tiramisu cocoa. Really liked it. Not too sweet and they served it with toasted marshmallows.
Super cute and delicious mochi donuts! The set of 3 box is a subset of the set 6 box. All the flavors are great (I like the ube one the best). The ube milk tea is also creamy and tasty, but a little pricey compared to other places (wish it came in a larger portion). I?d like to try their corn dogs one day.
This Mochinut is located within a larger building. The menu was easy to look through and they have an option to order through a person or on the screen. You can see donuts being freshly made. I loved the donut and the rice dog that we got, but our service and wait time was horrific. We ordered three donuts and one rice-dog. The messed up the first rice-dog and had to remake ours which is fine. But they were very focused on DoorDash orders and many many people behind us got served before we ever did. We ende
Got churro, marshmallow, and lemon cheesecake crush flavors. All the donuts seemed to have the same base but different frostings. The flavors were so subtle that they all sort of tasted the same. I loved the texture, more mochi than donut unlike other places I?ve tried.
Found this place in Seattle while scrolling on doordash so I decided to try it as I was cracking something sugary. We got two corn dogs: - the whole mozzarella cheese with crispy potatoes. - double cheese. Both were good yet I have had better one. Also got 3 donuts: - Strawberry 4/5 - Glazed 2/5, it didn?t taste like a glazed donut, it needs more glazing or more sugar to the glaze. - Creme br?l?e 3.5/5 I really liked their dough it was fresh and fluffy. Personally, I believe/prefer that desserts should tast
Went there for a Stray Kids Seattle final hurrah celebration. The doughnuts were yummy, but ran out of other things quickly. Their service was amazing despite taking on way more customers than originally estimated. The atmosphere was chaotic, but chill. Plenty of places to sit & enjoy our food & drink.
This cute mochi donut place by South Lake Union is worth a stop. They sell mochi donuts made from rice flour, with 6 flavors available per week. These are a bit of an acquired taste, as they are what you might describe as gummy in texture. They have interesting toppings and flavors, so you can pick simple or one topped with crumbled cookies. They also do funky hot dogs covered in all sorts of toppings as well as boba drinks. They are essentially a cash-free place. It is confusing getting in because it loo
I only got a mochi doughnut but it was super fresh, the perfect texture and delicious! (Photo not taken at the store)
Obsessed with these mochi donuts! Light and chewy and amazing flavors!
Unique donuts with a great texture and flavor. The Vietnamese coffee was my favorite! I love that they aren?t overly sweet like a normal donut. I wanted to try a dessert that I couldn?t get at home while we were visiting Seattle, and this definitely hit the spot.
Great donuts! Texture is very unique and manages to provide a new experience after the traditional donut. Also available tiger sugar bobas, ricedog (delicious!) and donuts on a cool wide variety of donut flavors. I will return and recommend
Ordered the double mozzarella and sweet potato mozzarella. I felt the double amount was a normal size. Had 3 donuts. $27 was very expensive. Even though it was good, I'm not sure I'd return. Street parking only. I felt my car was going to get broken into. Employees wasn't very helpful. When ordering you have to use a self service tablet. It's nice when you want to order quick but when you have a question, I felt as I bothered the Employees. They place your dogs into an open paper food tray not even covered.
Was very happy with this place. The mochi donuts were chewy like I expect compared to other places. The flavors weren't overpowering and didn't take away from the donuts. I liked that they paired the place with bubble tea. They were served in a plastic can that was sealed there instead of a cup with a plastic lid. I've already gone back to retry the donuts and the consistency was the same. Would have liked to have seen a change in the flavors, but the time frame between visits was only a few days apar
First time trying mochi donuts! They were super doughy and much larger than I thought they?d be. All the donuts tasted fresh. The strawberry one was my favorite, the flavor was sweet but not too sugary. I will definitely be back!
Love this place ! Visited here the second time ?? ?? Love the boba milk tea ! Pretty much all the other flavors they have are amazing too. I particularly enjoy the option of pineapple with lychee jelly drink ?? Tried the matcha mochinut and the sea salt brownie mochinut and I?d pick the sea salt one for next time, but they?re super delicious! ?? Here are a couple more points ! ? The place is very aesthetic and vibrant both with food and decor ! ?? ?? ? Friendly staff and lovely goodies to purchase apa
Oh so ADDICTING! The mochi donuts were light and chewy, slightly oily. They have a rotating selection of donuts. With 6 to choose from every day. We got the guava mochinut which was a delight! Tasted like sweet guava flavoring with a hint of Li Hing Mui to give it a beautiful ombr? finish. Topped with a lemon Li-Hing. We also had the pistachio cheesecake, which was good once you get used to the saltiness of the pistachios. And more of a sour cream taste than a cheesecake taste. The Korean Corndog was cr
Wow?probably not coming back here. The service was slow and a bit discourteous. I used there self-ordering screen and finished by asking to pay cash. Then I hear the guy say to the people ahead of me that they have no change for cash. It tool him about five minutes to manually reenter their order and process their payment. Rather than get dragged into that b.s., I reentered my order and paid by card. The only thing a staff person said was my order number. No hello or thank you or enjoy or have a nice day.
First time trying this food, a combination of Japanese mochi and American doughnut. The texture is not fluffy but chewy. But it does stick to your teeth. It is not very sweet so I can easily finish 3 of them as breakfast.
I loved the visual "self-ordering" method, nice photos and descriptions, although that did give the experience a rather impersonal feel. Overall, I think the self-ordering minimized the chances of an error and we got exactly what we ordered. I had to crouch to enter my email address for an emailed receipt, so the user interface could use a bit of tweaking. As for the donuts, they were great! They seems relatively freshly-prepared, with a bit of crispness to the outer surface, but with icing that had dried
I really liked this place. I think it has a great atmosphere with a pretty diverse menu. They have the mochinut donuts, the Korean dogs, and boba. Believe it or not, I actually didn?t think much of the mochinut. The flavors were subpar and the quality wasn?t the best. I ordered the ube milk tea with tapioca and the Chungchun half and half dog with sugar on it. To my surprise, I thought the Korean dog was amazing! I got it as a ?oh what the heck? purchase and was delighted! If you haven?t tried a Korean dog
Love their mochi donut, chewy and tasty! I don't recommend getting 50% sugar on the ube cream latte tho because the coffee is gonna overpower the ube. I'm gonna get 100% sugar on that next time
Really like the strawberry and Nutella ones!! I was going for black sesame but learnt they are rotating their flavors for now and not yet have a full schedule plotted out, so all lucks :) Lines a bit long and we waited for about 45 mins around 13:00, try avoid noon busy time during weekends.
Super convenient for me so been many times. The bubble tea in a can is an interesting concept for sure. Execution is not there tho. The milk tea for the brown sugar and Thai tea flavors is thin and runny and not that flavorful. The boba is pretty mid too. The mochi nuts are good but the best thing in the menu are the corn dogs
My new favorite Mochi donut shop! The building and area this place is located isn?t as busy as I thought and it?s quite clean/new. I came around 6 with no line. The staff were friendly and packaged my donuts quickly. There came out fresh new donuts that looked all amazing! I got one of each and my favorite was the strawberry! Perfect sweetness and most importantly it had the perfect texture, airy and chewy! I?d definitely recommend this place to those who never tried Mochi donuts or donut lovers! ??
Nice alternative texture from traditional donuts, but not any less greasy. I was greeted when I walked in, but no one pointed out that I had to input my own order into the computer screen and it took me a minute to realize that. Once I completed that however, my box of three mochinuts was ready in mere minutes. I chose plain, pictachio, and churro caramel. The pistachio frosting had good flavor without being overly sweet, and the mochi is just as chewy as expected. It's a good product, but not mind-blowing
It was our first time going and it was pretty good. There's street parking available, some space inside to sit, and some standing room in the store. We got the 6 pack of donuts and the sweet potato hot dog. We really enjoyed the texture of the donuts and most of the flavors were great. They were pretty good, but I was slightly disappointed in some of the flavors because they were a bit bland and under flavored. I recommend the Vietnamese coffee, the strawberry lemonade, and cookies 'n cream. For a pack of
Mochi donuts were so flavorful and soft Corn dogs, including the flaming hot Cheetos one, were top notch. Thai iced tea boba tea was creamy and smooth.
The paradise of sugar and the best donuts that you can find in Downtown is here in this place, quite popular in the last year but equally very delicious, it is a perfect place for photographs and lovers of posting everything on Instagram since the place everywhere has something to highlight the donuts are prepared at the moment and if you have the opportunity to physically go to the place to surprise the taste, with multiple flavors to select but all with a perfect flavor in the dough besides donuts they ha
Love this place! Wondeful location, friendly staff and quick service. And the Mochinut here is soo good! Its actually a bit chewey/stretchy as a Mochi donut should be. I wish they also had the corn dogs here, as in the other Mochinut stores. And the boba tea here is always fab!
YUMMMM. The mochi doughnuts here are soo good. They are light and fluffy and there are lots of flavours to choose from. Would recommend the half dozen assorted so that you can try different flavours. The matcha bubble tea is also really good. Definitely would recommend!
The service was non-existent. I was not acknowledged other than to be handed the donut. One of the worker's literally sat on his phone the whole time. The donut just tasted sweet. I could not pick out any of the flavors that were supposed to be in it. It was also not fresh.
The donuts are delicious and staff is always wonderful! The only reason it?s not five stars is that the donuts are VERY sugar-dense and it can be hard to finish them in one sitting, great for sharing though! Also some flavors are ~amazing~ and some are a little lackluster so check the menu before going!
Cute little place! Mochinut offers bubble tea and donuts. If you have a sweet tooth or are curious of the hybrid donut/mochi treat, I would definitely visit.
Great donut options and love the drinks especially the strawberry cream boba. Ordered 2 drinks and 6 donuts and didn't wait too long for fresh and delicious food. If you're in the area definitely go here.
This was an awesome first experience! I showed up and the nice two ladies were extremely sweet and accommodating. I got the classic mochinut and it was awesome. Sweet, but not overly, soft, fluffy, chewy.. perfect late night sweet. The awesome lady running the night shift here was also so sweet to interact with ?? would come back again ????
My wife and I stayed nearby, and stumbled across this place. Neither of us had ever had rice flour donuts (they are slightly chewy in a delightful way). I had had bubble tea long ago, but not recently. In addition to the donuts, I got the a mango drink with lychee jelly. It was super fun and delicious. I highly recommend trying it. Its fun!
Chewy, not very sweet, fresh donuts! They have new flavors every day! Super cute box if you buy 3,6,12! A great little gift for afternoon tea, small scale celebration (or maybe big celebration as well!)
Expensive, but worth it! Definitely one of the better mochi donuts I've had. I got the half dozen, which was one of each of their available flavors, and I was very impressed. While I didn't love all the favors (ew peppermint, amirite?) by and large, I loved most of them. Not only were the flavors really good, the dough was the perfect amount of plump and chewy. Given the caloric content of each donut, I probably won't be binging a half dozen again anytime soon, but next time I do, I will definitely get them
Ordered BOBA Milk Tea which is $5. This is the first time I had Milk tea. The taste of the tea is well balanced. I thought it will be more sweeter ( More sweetness could easily ruin the natural flavor) but it is actually well made and it tastes so good. The drink is so relaxing and nice feel while drinking, I also tasted Mochinut which is so yummy. Again ordered tiger sugar boba drink which is creamy and good
Closer to a 3.7 star than a 4 tbh. The container for drinks are neat and cool but it's honestly way too sweet and the sweetness wasn't adjustable. I wouldn't recommend their boba really, maybe if you're craving something and it's nearby. But the mochi donuts are def a 5/5 !
Tasty mochi donuts in SLU! The location is super cute with punny plaques and good photo ops! We ordered a half dozen, one of each of the weekly selection! Our favorites were the Ube crunch and Creme Brulee. Super tasty! It took a little extra time for our order, as they were making fresh mochi donuts- but I never mind waiting for super fresh items! I only took off one star because they weren?t the *best mochi donuts I?ve had, but I still was left satisfied and would still absolutely recommend!
I bought a dozen donuts and a taro drink for $59!?! But it was all so good. The Vietnamese Donut is the real winner. The mango donut took 2nd place. The others looked pretty but didn?t really impress me taste-wise. Next time I go back, I won?t order so many.
Really good mochinuts! Been here a handful of times. It?s fluffy, light, a little oily and chewy, similar a donut but with rice flour and better! The rice dogs are good but not as tasty as down at the actual ChungChun rice dog in CID. They kept falling off the stick and the sauces were each $1 each extra. The boba was also subpar, I got the thai tea boba and it was not very strong, too sweet, and the boba was too soft. We also got the strawberry matcha and it was also very sweet and not very rich in flavo
The best donuts of all the donuts. They have multiple locations throughout the Seattle area. They rotate 6 flavors a couple times a week so all the flavors aren't available everyday, but that wasn't an issue for me - all the flavors are fire.
Melanie was fantastic and very helpful! Very unique donuts. Hotdog half n half was tasty, we all had a bite and surprisingly everyone in the group enjoyed it a lot! No coating, just half n half hot dog w a side of sweet chili ??? sauce
Great mochi donuts. Loved the sesame and ube. Ice-cream was delicious and reasonable price. They came up with new boba milk tea. Definitely will try it out next time!
I bought a box of 6 donuts for $16 + tax. Worth every penny! Every single donut was DELICIOUS! Each donut was light, fluffy, and unique. Next time I'll have to buy a whole dozen for just myself! The attached picture were of the flavors that were available that day, but they rotate the flavors around so you can try a different one every time you visit!
Didn?t try any of the donuts but the tiger sugar milk tea (got it half sweet) was divine. EDIT: have now tried the donuts and am obsessed. Especially with the Nutella ones and cocoa one.
mochi donuts were so tasty!! I love the texture and variety of flavors they have weekly. Highly recommend this place, 10/10 so good.
Delicious rice donuts. Tried a lot of the flavors and haven?t found one I didn?t love yet. Best eaten fresh. They are still good the next day but much better eaten soon after purchase
Got the donuts. honestly I don?t think it?s their best product. Not bad though
I?ve gone here a handful of times and the food is super tasty! Like the other reviews state, you do have to by them by the half or full dozen, which is quite a bit, but in my opinion they are worth it! I do wish they would sell in smaller quantities and that?s the reasoning for the 4/5 rating. The last time I went the staff member suggested we keep the box open to prevent them from getting soggy from the toppings the next day. This worked and they were just as good.
Great spot to check out. We loved the rice dogs!! Mochinuts were good, but the rice dogs are what you gotta try!! Boba was good as well. We did the original, the cheedos half cheese and half dog along with the potatoes rice dog.
What a unique first experience at having mochi donuts! The location wasn't super busy when I arrived, and staff was quick to ask if I had any questions. I got 4 different flavors, churro being my favorite and my partner's fave was the raspberry! Chewy and airy and flavor on point. The only reason for the 4 star is the donuts didn't hold overnight very well, they became super hard or super mushy depending on the flavor. Since we had to get 6 to order, there was no way around it. Would come back again but let
It was really yum. Great flavors.it was first time trying these. Texture of the donuts is very good. I loved the nutella one and the churrio flavor the most!??
I loved their donuts but their boba pearls were not frees so I didn?t liked their boba tea at all.
Fresh deep fry corn dogs and donuts.. not really my thing but it wasn?t bad, I just wish they give more catsup (they only give 3 small packages) pay extra for it.
Loved the Pistachio Cheesecake donut! It was chewy compared to normal donuts but it grows on you. The menu ordering system was confusing. I wanted to get hot boba but couldn?t find the option on it, but apparently it was available.
Expensive but worth trying once. I got half dozen which cost $16 plus tax. The taste is chewy like mochi or rice cake, sweetness depending on which flavor you choose. Most of them are very sweet but better than what I bought from grocery store.
The food was amazing and my work crew loved them. The service was friendly and the place in South lake Union was very clean and smelled amazing. This place is legit! I highly recommended checking out out.
Interesting concept. Quite tasty, but didn?t blew my mind as I expected. Staff was nice and courteous. Not sure why minimum quantity is 3 doughnuts I wanted just one to try. It is quite large doughnut for one person. Located inside a building with other shops and bars. There was plenty of parking on the street when I visited.
Their mochinuts are perfectly chewy and not overly sweet. But the highlight for me was their coffee bubble tea. It?s hard for me to get a caffeine buzz, but this definitely did the trick. It?s definitely my new go to order!
Perfect donuts for the days I need a pick me up! I love that they have rotating flavors every week - which they always update on their Instagram (@mochinut_seattle)! This week, I picked guava, raspberry funnel cake, and churros with caramel in my box of 3. DoorDash pickup is really easy too and you can request the flavors you want in the notes section!
Too many people in the line not practicing social distancing. The shop offers six different flavors everyday and they asked us to check out the daily flavors on their Instagram. The strawberry flavor is a bit sweet but the texture of the mochi is pretty good.
5 stars to the staff being hella friendly but honestly these donuts are just ok. They are extremely sweet and literally all flavors taste the same. I was looking forward to all the flavors they had but when I got there they were only servicing 6. Kind of disappointed
Quite a bit of wait time even during slow hours, but the mochinuts, drinks, and hotdogs are always tasty.
Not sure why there?s so many negative reviews on here for this place. My family and I enjoyed the mochi doughnuts here a lot! The staff was kind. Doughnuts had a soft and chewy texture and we agreed that the black sesame flavor is the best. Flavors are constantly rotating each day and you can only buy doughnuts in the half-dozen for $16 and dozen for $30. The whole company sells their doughnuts like these so don?t blame the franchise.
They have only 6 flavors per day and the taste is different than regular donut. It is kinda chewy and soft in one bite.
The best donuts you can ever have! Very delicious and satisfying and unique!
Love mochi ice cream so I knew I wanted to try from a mochi bakery when I visited Seattle. It?s my understanding that they rotate flavors often so today I had the orange zest, churro, and eclair. The mochi was super light and fluffy - nothing too sweet. I loved it and found them refreshing. I also got the ube boba and it was delicious. Easily best boba I?ve ever had, nice texture and not too sweet. I would easily come here every week if I lived nearby.
The best Boba milk tea and fresh Mochinuts, I loved how fresh their ?? were and that everything is prepared while you are there,, they also followed covid protocols,, which is very important especially when dealing with food... definitely gonna come back...????
The donuts are without a doubt delicious! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because you can't buy single donuts. You need to buy them in half a dozen increments (i.e minimum of 6).
Unique dessert in the heart of SLU. These are doughnuts made with rice flour, so they're much lighter and crispier. I love the doughnut itself. Things that can be improved: pricing, freshness of the doughnut (they are a little oily when older), and most importantly the flavor of the icing on top. The Vietnamese coffee was pretty good, but pistachio just tasted like a plain mochinut.
I got a box of Mochinut for my kids, they were so excited and enjoyed it. I went on the weekday. Staff were friendly and I didn?t need to wait. Definitely worth to try!
I was really excited about this new opening, and can?t wait to try out. But I?m concerned about the sanity of the food, the whole process is a chaos here. I visited the store around 7pm, it?s clear that the staffs are busy given a lot of ppl are waiting in the line. I totally understand the staffs hard work but even if you?re receiving a lot of orders, you should always keep your sanity as first. I saw staffs not only one not washing their hand when they come back from outside or cleaning their table. Weari
This place is amazing! I first discovered their food last night and just had it for dinner tonight too. The potato mozzarella dog is my favorite and me and my wife smashed a half dozen mochi donuts in one sitting because we couldn?t stop. I got the strawberry cream drink with tapioca and it was delicious. We will definitely be having more in the near future!
Rude and incompetent staff. After buying drinks and donuts from there, first they refused to provide a water cup which is weird. One of our drinks (Thai tea) was way too sweet, and after we ordered we asked if they could put in less sugar. They said it came premade that way. When the drink came out, it was just super sugary milk so we asked if we could just replace it for a regular milk tea. Again they declined and offered no solution. Go to a proper donut/boba shop somewhere else.
I ordered from Uber eats requesting a change to one of the drinks and the staff did a phenomenal job. Especially because I had mentioned I had a successful surgery and they accommodated me and on top of that- they left such kind and sweet messages. I?m very happy and grateful and I hope your staff knows that they?re beautiful people with great hearts.
These donuts were really good. Basically exactly what you expect them to taste like, fun mochi texture. I'd go back.
Seasonal rotation, easy loading lanes to get in and put quickly. Our favorite was the cinnamon churro. Staff was friendly and helped guide us through the options. The cheese dogs were great. we tried the Ramen Coated version, and it was amazing. Highly recommend.
Good place for mochi donuts and Korean hotdogs on a stick. Order from the kiosk and wait until your number is called.
Absolutely LOVED the donuts and the cute cans my milk drink came in! Highly recommend this place for something unique and sweet!
Tried the donuts at this location twice, but both times they were chewy and didn't feel fresh. When I asked for a replacement and a refund, the store rep denied my request. Drinks are good as usual.
Milk tea is good. One of the best mochi donuts I?ve tried ? so soft and chewy!!
wow these donuts are so fresh, soft, and chewy. My standards definitely went up. I can?t go back to eating american donuts. Krispy kreme is the exception.
