Mochinut Rochester Hills

Mochinut Rochester Hills

Reviews Summary

Mochinut receives mixed but generally positive feedback, with many praising the unique chewy texture of the mochi donuts and the delicious Korean corn dogs. High ratings highlight friendly service, fresh flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, some criticize the 3-donut minimum, inconsistent boba quality, and cold/stale donuts. The automatic tip feature on payments is a recurring complaint. While the mochi texture isn’t for everyone, fans appreciate the novelty and quality. Customer Reviews

I had such a lovely experience at Mochinut thanks to Arzanae. She went out of her way to be kind and thoughtful ? something you don?t always expect but truly appreciate when it happens. It wasn?t just good service, it was genuine care. That kind of warmth stays with you. The donuts were great, but it?s people like Arzanae who make you want to come back. Mia & Jordan

Very excited to have a mochi donut shop in RH! We ordered 3 mochi donuts: creme brulee, churro, cookies & cream, 1 lemonade boba & 1 thai tea boba. The donuts are not regular donuts, they have a more chewy & doughy texture; I appreciate that they're not greasy/oily, they tasted alot better after warming up in a microwave. Unfortunately, the milk bobas were already premixed, so no substitutes for milk alternatives; the tapioca bobas were inconsistent as some were soggy & others had a hard center. It's also t

Kids liked the Raspberry and Cookie donut. Creme brulee was OK. Not like a donut really, kinda squishy. Different for sure. Have to buy 3 or more. Corn dogs look interesting. They have 1 folding metal stool for customers. Get a table or 3 and some chairs... I say give it a shot for something new.

The best dessert spot I?ve been to so far! The atmosphere and customer service were incredible. The cashier up front, named Jakir, was really nice and informative. The mochi donuts were chewy and flavorful. Their ube milk tea with lychee jelly is out of this world. I?ll definitely be coming here all the time!

As a donut lover I was skeptical but Mochinut did not disappoint. Everyone loves the donuts. The Korean corn dogs were a surprise we did not know we could get those here. They were heavy on the cheese but delicious. We will absolutely be back again and again.

Great donuts. Big time not a fan of the automatic tip included on the touchscreen. I had almost zero human interaction. I walked in, selected my order on a screen and it had a tip automatically added to my total. I had to manually take the tip off on the screen. The employee took a spatula and placed 3 donuts in a box. Not sure what the tip was for. They?re paid hourly to put a donut in a box with a spatula. It?s take out. Get rid of the tip screen

Mochinut never disappoints. The place is always spotless, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The mochi donuts are fresh, fun, and full of flavor ? perfect every time. Great vibe, great service. Definitely a go-to spot when you?re craving something sweet!

We finally made it to Mochinut and we weren't disappointed. The donuts are fantastic. Fresh and delicious. Our kids loved them. Very friendly service. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Came here for my birthday today, and their Korean corn dogs are AMAZING. Biting into that crispy shell with the stretchy cheese inside was almost like biting into Heaven. Their milk tea and mochi donuts are good, too.

I really love and appreciate their variety of Super Dilicious K-Style Donut. Kind & Pleasant people work at this place. Always a pleasure to stop by and buy K-Style desserts! OMG. I'M SO BLESSED! ??

The donuts are a niche, different than normal donuts so I'm sure it'll vary from person to person if you like them. But a couple knocks against this place. First is the 3 donut minimum. If I knew I had to buy 3 every time, I'd be less likely to stop in and grab one on a whim. Second is the payment system. I don't know if it's the owners or the software company, but it auto selects 15% tip for you and to make it zero you'd have to go through the trouble of selecting "custom" and entering zero. My whole life

I wasn't a fan of the mochinut at all. The gummy texture of the pastry just wasn't for me but I'm also not a big donut or pastry person to begin with. Originally, I stopped in to get a single mochinut for my son but was disappointed to see that there is a minimum of 3. The person who helped me was nice but I won't be back.

I came here at 8 p.m. on Sunday night. There were only three kinds of Mochinuts left, so I had to buy whatever they had remaining. They weren?t as chewy as I expected, and the donuts were cold?probably sitting out for a while. It just wasn?t worth the money for me.

Workers are always super nice and they had a good variety of flavors. Corndogs were also very good!

Corn dogs are amazing donuts are yummy and for the people complaining about tips yall do realize the employees hand make the corn dogs and make the donuts in the kitchen LOL

Absolutely horrible at putting an order together in time. Even when you're the only customer. Terrible service, terribly inept/incapable staff.

(Translated by Google) The donuts and hot dogs are chewy and really delicious. I'm so glad it's nearby. ^^ The sweet and sour drink is also a great way to relieve stress. Thumbs up! May you prosper~~ (Original) ??? ???? ???? ?? ????. ???? ??? ?? ???^^ ???? ??? ???? ???? ????. ???! ?????~~
