Mochinut Raleigh

Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise Mochinut for its delicious, unique donuts (especially churro, maple bacon, and Ube flavors) and friendly service. Many highlight the chewy texture and weekly flavor rotations as standout features. Korean corn dogs receive mixed feedback—some love them, while others report undercooked or greasy batches. Boba tea is frequently criticized for being overpriced, overly icy, or having poorly cooked pearls. A few complain about inconsistent presentation vs. social media ads or long wait times. Negative reviews often cite raw food, poor service, or recipe changes. Overall, fans rave about the donuts and atmosphere, but quality control issues with corn dogs and boba drag down some experiences.

Wow! Delicious mochi donuts! Crispy on the outside and good on the inside, exactly what they need to be. The environment is fun, and the workers are friendly and always willing to explain the menu or give suggestions! Clean Atmosphere with plenty of seating. I got 3 donuts to-go and ate them all before I got home... I didn't mean to, they are just that good! I don't even feel bad about it! I kind of just want to go back and get more now...

The inside was absolutely gorgeous! The man who I assume to be the owner had amazing customer service and the food was hot and fresh. The cheese pull was insane. Tasted amazing for a very good price. My only critique is I feel like they should be cooked longer. My batter inside of the hot cheeto dog was undercooked. I dont think a longer cook time would compromise any other factor of the hot dog. Definitely recommend though!

All of the other low reviews are correct. I gave Mochinut 2 tries bc my little sisters heard about it and wanted to try it but I definitely wont return. The korean corn dogs were absolutely DISGUSTING. Like someone else said I'm pretty sure they were undercooked. You could literally taste the undercooked dough, all of the grease on them, and the breading was just bad with a nasty aftertaste!! You know how on the internet u see people having a cheese pull when they bite into it? yea no the cheese wasn't even

Overall, good atmosphere, the older man working the counter, was really nice. The mochi donuts are always amazing, and I always love the brown sugar milk tea boba.

This place is so good! The donuts are DELICIOUS, the corn dogs are so crispy and so warm, and the bubble tea was amazing as well!! The owner was the sweetest as well so please go support his business!!

Very kind staff! They have games if you would like to eat in. Take out boxes and super sturdy and cute. We did take out and ended up putting the kdogs in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes just to make them a bit warmer and it tasted fantastic! We went by the end of the day and the donuts still tasted marvelous. I would recommend the Nutella and birthday cake one if available when you go.

The mochinuts are really good, they have that signature fried/ slight crispy outside with a chewy glutinous feel obviously more similar to mochi than a traditional doughnut. Def worth trying if you haven't experienced it, I had the toasted marshmallow and mango coconut. Not to mention thhe bubble tea which is incredible, probably one of the best I've had, I got the ube with boba. They also have regular tea options and coffe, as well as a few canned korean drinks and the stuffed corn dog things which im not

We really enjoyed the mochinuts. They taste like a funnel cake mixed with a donut. The Boba was okay. It had a lot of ice in it. The atmosphere was wonderful!

The mochi donuts were delicious- crispy on the outside and soft inside. The workers were very nice. I love the atmosphere and they have a flavor suggestion box and thankful wall for customers to post on.

Yes yes yes.. don't walk- RUN! The Donuts are a texture that is maybe preferred. If you've had a taiyaki..its kinda like that. It's like a nice soft yeast Donut with a bit of chew. These aren't too sweet and just perfect. The drinks were good. The cherry berry boba is heavy with a Raspberry syrup. It wasnt for me but my oldest loved itb and her brown sugar boba. Next time we go. We're shooting for the hot dogs.

Absolutely love going here! I love that the doughtnut flavors change weekly so there?s always something new to try. Not to mention the half and half crunchy is like eating heaven on a stick. It?s always made fresh to order and the combination of the mozzarella and hotdog with the cereal is incredible. Plus the fruit aids with the popping boba make the perfect pairing. Never disappointed when I go!

I have driven by Mochinut several times and finally decided to stop in and try one. I love mochi having lived in Japan, so how could mochi and donuts combined not be good?! Oh My! They are AMAZING! They have a delicately crisp exterior, then you sink your teeth into this lightly chewy deliciousness...a perfect hybrid of doughy mochi and fluffy donut! I had a chocolate covered one. YUMMY! I bought 3 and gave 2 to my parents to try. Now I wish I either bought more or kept all three! The owner is su

Mochinut is addicting, in the best way possible. Our favorites are the churro, I could eat a dozen, and my family loved the glazed with sprinkles and strawberry.

I waited about 15 minutes for a corn dog when I was the only one there and I took it to go. I went back home and it was raw in the center. I thought it was cheese at first but it was not. Very very raw.

Mochinuts are yummy. Especially the Churro favor. However, the boba tea is a big disappointment. The drink is $6.49 (after $0.75 Boba add on). 3/4 cup is ice. See pic. And boba is undercooked, they are still hard, taste awful. I didn't eat any after one boba. So basically I paid $6.49 plus tax for 1/4 cup of drink. It's one of the worst boba tea I had.

Today was my first day trying this place and let me tell you, absolutely amazing customer service. So friendly and they helped me with the menu and the food/boba was delicious! Definitely will be back and I believe the lady?s name was Destiny that gave such wonderful service. Thanks for the amazing experience guys!

I did not try the boba tea, which seems to be the reason for the mediocre ratings here, so I cannot comment on that. The donut was soft, chewy, and tasted great. The passionfruit icing was the perfect mix of tangy-sweet. It's worth noting that I visited pretty late, around 7pm. The donut did not have the texture of something that was made for breakfast, which I find to be the biggest issue with buying donuts later in the day.

just love this place! boba is so good! donuts are fantastic! atmosphere is wonderful! going there again, definitely! rate this place a 5 star!

We tried the churro and caramel biscoff, they were both AMAZING!! Lady at counter was super sweet. It was very clean and neat inside.

It's a great place and snacks, the only sad thing it's they stop picking the phone 35 mnts for pick up orders, I wish they give that little extra push more late ??

The crew at Mochinut is always super welcoming and eager to point out the ever-changing menu of new creations. We always like to try the new flavors, and some of the OGs like churro never disappoint.

Mochinut is a new store in Raleigh. They sell Mochi donuts, Boba tea, and Korean corn dogs. It's a bit pricey but good!

The service and food were very good i recommend the corn dogs and milk tea !

Loved the mochinuts. New boba on the menu is so good too. Will be back!

This Mochinut is soooooo good . Doughnuts and corndog are amazing . I definitely recommend this raleigh mochinut. I will come back again

A wonderful little spot with some very good food and drinks! Mochinuts are a wonderful doughnut without the "dense" feeling afterwards. Their bubble tea is also incredible, not too sweet with some of the best flavor I've had around the Triangle. Haven't tried the dogs yet, but we will on another trip back. Highly recommend this place!

I usually absolutely love Mochinut. The consistency of the pastry is like nothing else. But this past time, it feels like the recipe has changed. Tonight it tasted way more like a donut than a rice cake which is incredibly disappointing. I?m hesitant to go back

Donuts were delicious and staff was super friendly. My little guy loved this place and is already asking to go back. Donuts are kinda pricy but it is worth it for a once in a while treat.

The donuts are sooooo good and I love how they have new flavors each week! I always check their instagram to see which one I?m going to get when I go ?? I also love that you can get drinks with or without the boba. Sooo yum overall, very clean environment and super nice employees!!!

Delicious donuts, nice presentation and friendly service. I ordered Ube and Cookies & Cream (with Pocky).

Such a cute place!! The Korean corndogs are delicious, the donuts are fresh and the atmosphere is joyful. There are a few small table games to keep kids (6+) occupied while the dogs are made fresh to order.

Mochinuts themselves are delicious, but be prepared to wait 5+ minutes if you order anything else on the menu, even with only 1 customer in front of you. How are you going to market something as "milk BOBA tea" at one price on the menu and then charge extra to add Boba to it? $0.75 extra to add something that is in the name is very deceiving. Also, another customer mentioned that their milk Boba tea tasted like there was no tea in it. When we asked the staff, they confirmed that there is indeed NO tea in t

Donuts with frosting tasted piercingly sour, like something in it had expired. The churro cinnamon was stale and was as hard as a rock; I knocked it on the table and it remained intact. Brown sugar boba tea was watered down, barely any brown sugar or tapioca pearls. It felt as if I drank milk water essence with a dash of sugar. Disgusting. I reached out through their site and never heard a response back. My entire order was inedible.

these donuts are DELICIOUS!!!!! our favorites this week were the maple bacon and of course the og churro!! highly recommend! love that they change the flavors weekly - excited to see what comes next!!!!

Food was amazing definitely recommend for others to try it

The mochinuts are always delicious, but it's always a little disappointing when what they show you on their social media page isn't how they make them when you arrive. For example, the Strawberry matcha one today on Instagram had a nice green glaze with what looked like strawberry powder or sprinkles on top. But when I got to the store, they looked like messy matcha thick cupcake icing with a strawberry pocky stick slapped on top, so I had to pick something else instead. This inconsistency happens with a fe

This is a great spot! I really enjoyed the maple bacon doughnuts and the Korean corn dogs. A big thank you to the owner for making our visit memorable.

Yummy donuts and bobas. Their donuts are definitely different than typical donuts. You got to try it. I haven't tried their hotdogs, but I will be back to try them.

Great mochi donuts and the staff were so nice!

Such a beautiful place owner was so kind and attentive and food was just delicious.

Literally was the best experience ever. The people were so friendly, the food was hot and fresh, and the atmosphere was super inviting! Most definitely will be back!

donuts=fine, service=mid, timing=horrid, it took over 30 minutes to get two corn dogs. DO NOT waste your time and money coming to this bad establishment, there are better options around the area.

Delicious donuts! I love it. Staffs are so friendly and kind. We will definitely come again.

Cool place. The employees and owner were really nice. I got the matcha mochi donuts and the crunchy corn dog and they were delicious

The mochinuts are very good, the boba is absolutely horrendous.

Nasty I said no sauce n still gave them all sauce ?
