Mochinut / Quickly Bubble Tea

We ordered a few dozen for an event ahead of time on Snackpass. Everyone raved about how great they tasted. The texture was spot on with a variety of flavor. On top of that, the customer service is the best. They were super accommodating and helpful. The owner and staff are absolutely amazing. Definitely a repeat customer moving forward.

This place was pretty good. There are new donut flavors weekly, but appear to be six flavors at any one time. They also offer bubble tea, in about that many flavors as well, but we didn't try any on this occasion. You place your order via a large touch screen near the counter. We didn't have to wait too long to get our donuts, but there's only one screen, so I can imagine it being busier on the weekend. Mochi donuts tend to run pretty expensive, and it's no different here, at about $20 for six donuts.

Mochinut Arlington Heights is amazing. The staff is great. The store is very beautiful and in a good location. I've had every item on their menu from the donuts to boba teas. Their donuts change weekly so I have tried some of the specialty donuts but not all. Overall the hotdogs are very good but the donuts and boba teas are waaayyyy too sweet. I came in during the weekday, around 5:15, about a month ago. There was not one person in sight. I said hello a couple of times without any replies. I dodged traffic on Arlington Heights Road to park at the lot across the street so I was committed to buy. I placed my order at the kiosk. Waited for someone to come out to greet me or pack my order. Amazing donuts. Went to this place for the first time. It was so beautifully decorated / painted inside. We just happened to walk by this place and saw a sign saying donuts ??. We went in and saw they have boba tea and donuts. We ordered 6 Assorted donuts thinking we can eat 1 or 2 and take remaining home but when the donuts came, they were so so yummy that we ate them all. Honestly, those were the best mochi donuts I had. They were super fresh. And very flavorful. It just took less them 5 mins for them

Pretty cool little place. The donuts were awesome. Can?t really comment on service because basically you use a iPad to order and then pick your stuff up at the window. But it was an overall fun experience.

What a unique place! The only way I could describe the mochinuts are a cross between a doughnut and funnel cake! It was delicious. And the drink options are pretty cool! I got an iced coffee with boba and really enjoyed it. Definitely a cool spot in downtown Arlington Heights!

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, it was busy but was in and out fast. I got the taro, original, and chocolate one. The taro one was very oily tasting and didn?t really taste like taro, but the other two were good. I just wish there was a way to order only one off their menu, I don?t normally eat something this sweet that often. Looking forward to trying the hotdogs soon.

These donuts are dangerous. Very reminiscent of a Krispy Kreme. You can easily eat more than a few in one sitting. They're served wrm and fluffy with that light layer of icing on top, but they have that spongy mochi texture (in a good way). I liked the original and the raspberry. The icing on the raspberry one was very sweet and slightly tart like Italian ice.

This was a very cool experience. I tried a mochi donut and a donut filled with blueberry cream. This was a totally new texture for me. They were amazing. I would recommend at least trying it once. I love the art on the walls too.

Got a mochinut to go! It is a different experience. The dough is more dense than a yeast donut and can taste the rice flour similar to tempura almost. The icing flavors are unique and offer something different. I tried the watermelon tajin which was a bit of sweet n spice. It was almost a savory feeling to it. Overall, an interesting experience.

This is a must stop in Arlington Heights. The mochinut flavors change daily so it's not the same every time. I love the matcha milk tea. The hotdogs are amazing. They are a cashless business so come with your card.

I walked in on a Sunday afternoon. Two workers and not even a "hello". We went to the order online... wanted to taste 2 before buying two dozen. I went to Mochinut very excited because of good reviews. I can?t speak for the donuts or the Korean corn dogs but the bubble tea was absolutely horrendous. I ordered the hazelnut cacao snow with tapioca. It seemed like there was no sweetener or dairy in there, which is fine but it also tasted like their ingredients were very old. I had ordered from uber eats and the Hot Cheetos was cold. The cheese inside was not even melted. It was stale.

Swearing too loud in the kitchen to hear customers saying "hello" multiple times. The food ordered was on the counter and we were trying to get an employees attention. They couldn't hear us over their inappropriate conversation in the kitchen. Unprofessional, inappropriate, and no one should have to listen to them swearing while gossiping when customers are trying to get the food we pay for.

I have been here a couple of times and I really love the food. The donuts are amazing and I wish I could eat them all the time. The milk tea is pretty good, although the plastic straw on metal lid is quite the noise. The taro milk tea has a wonderful coconut flavor and the ube with coffee is also very good. I believe they have milk alternatives for the drinks. I had their corn dogs too and they were fantastic! When it was empty it took around 5 minutes to make. Mochi donuts are fun for a once in a blue moon treat. Be prepared that this establishment is cashless & self-checkout. The food is fun, but definitely a premium price point for what you get. The people were fine, but there's minimal interaction. The atmosphere is okay, but small.

The bubble tea was fantastic! We have tried a lot of bubble tea and we were impressed with the Fizz and Taro Green tea. We got them less sweet and it was just how we like it. Also had fun donut flavors and combo deals.

After trying three donuts, my opinion. Tasty but the frosted ones are on the super sweet side if you're into that and they do have the rice texture as you're chewing which you may like or not. Lastly they are pricey and not very large. Three donuts was around ten dollars! I love donuts and coffee. Most people do, but much to my surprise they have NO coffee here! The mochi donuts were a revelation in texture and taste. Each bite offered a chewy, melt-in-your-mouth experience that was simply irresistible. There is a variety of flavors available. corndogs were incredible, I tried to finish two, but 1 is more than enough if you are planning on indulging on some doughnuts as well.

Honestly a calm place to be at and will come again in the future, their mochila donuts are amazing and the got a big selection of drinks with fast service

I've been a fan of Mochinut since I tried it in LA and I'm so happy that its finally here in MY state! These are some of the best kind of donuts I've ever had. Not too soft, not dense, just right. I love the rotating flavors too each week.

Somehow my last review got deleted because it's an actual negative review. The owner is stealing tips from the employees, and lied about it. Claims there is no tip jar because they "don't take cash" - that will change soon when IL forces businesses to accept cash. You can still accept cash tips even if you don't accept cash in the register. Heard directly from two employees that they aren't given the electronic tips. The food and drinks are great, but pretty un-cool.

Terrible service. We ordered a donut and a corn dog. We were given the donut and told 5-6 mins for the corn dog so we took a seat. 25 mins go by, 4 other groups have gotten bubble teas and donuts already and left but we still hadn't received our corn dog. Not only that but we can hear everyone goofing off in the back, everything they are saying, laughing very loud and making it seem like they forgot about us. The donuts are incredible. Expect a very slightly different texture than a traditional donut but they are so dang delicious. I could eat a truck load of them.

Their dough is softer than other places that makes these donuts better. Donuts at other places have a harder dough if you like that. The tiramisu flavor was the best. The churro and mango flavor was good. The Ube and green milk tea was tasty also. This review is only for the tasty Mochi donut, not for service as today was the soft opening. Thank you to the person working today! My kids saw the Chocolate Raspberry and insisted they wanted that chocolate one. They couldn't process why it's Chocolate Raspberry. The awesome lady working there offered to make fresh ones she's working on and just put chocolate on those. This was so sweet of her!

1 major complaint. The owners keep all the electronic tips for themselves instead of giving them to the employees. This is actually illegal in Illinois. They even removed the cash tips jar so the only way to tip is electronically. Great food and drinks, but the owners are stealing the employees tips. Was told directly that the tips don't go to the employees. You don't have to take cash but tips can still be cash. No tip jar prevents honesty.

Got 1/2 a dozen (just 1 of each from the top display), an ube bubble tea, and a mango lychee fruit fizz. The girl behind the counter was super helpful and friendly, and the guy who was running supplies / trash out seemed genuinely happy to be there (doesn't impact the food, but it was refreshing). The donuts seemed to have a minimal amount of rice flour in them because they lacked the gooie-ness that other pon de ring type donuts I've had at Mochi joy donuts near me in Indiana or Mr Donuts in Japan. They're tricky to make so maybe it depends on the batch or technique too. Still fun but pricey.

I believe it was the owners or management that went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable and were very accommodating to the 11 of us (7 kids). The food and atmosphere is great as well.

My husband and I had already tried another location of yours in Chicago and knew Mochinuts were something special. Arlington heights is just a little closer to us so we had to visit and good lord did it pay off! GO GET A MOCHINUT STAT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Interesting place. The prices are a bit high for doughnuts but they are unique. A lot of the more interesting flavors were sold out last time I was there.

Great place! These are such a fun alternative to traditional donuts. They're a little more chewy and not greasy at all.

I got two different flavors of bubble tea and I had to throw them away because they tasted awful. I was surprised since I had been to the Saint Charles location and they were great there.
