Mochinut NOLA (Metairie)

This place was really cool! The Korean corn dogs were great and the garlic Parmesan fries were so good! The ocean water with strawberry popping boba was also really good! I also got a donut with coffee cream inside and that was delicious.

This is a unique little donut shop and more. In addition to the specialty donuts, the Korean Corndogs are also available here!! The shop is spectacular for cleanliness. There are seating options, so you can order and eat in. There were a huge selection of donuts- but the few selections were plenty to provide a variety and not feel overwhelmed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend giving it a try.

I've stopped by because I was checking out the comic book store nearby. I never had a Mochi donut before and I enjoyed it. The donut flavors: Glazed, Twix, and Strawberry beignet. These donuts have a chewy texture due to the flour they used. If you are looking for a regular donut, then you might need to go elsewhere since these aren't the same! I liked them all. The employees here are so sweet! They greet you as you walk out and when you leave. They are super helpful and are eager to answer any questions. The packaging for boxes and drinks are very aesthetic. The donuts are so good, not too sweet and perfectly chewy. The rice dogs are also super good. However, they do not put a lot of potato on. You can put however many sauces you want as the condiments are self serve. The boba is also pretty good. However, the tapioca balls do tend to stick together.

Very very very good. The donuts were light and fresh. They didn?t have too much sweetness at all. I had a boba milk tea and it was worth the wait. The line was long but went fast.

I enjoyed my first visit to Mochinut with my daughter. We did a trial run of the Easter Egg hunt the Wednesday before Easter and it was so fun! EVERYTHING was super yummy, and my donuts were still good the next night! We got donuts and fry half and half/half dogs.

Got one of each to try the corn dogs. I liked the takis flavor. The half and half with chesse and hotdog was ok. I'd rather the all hot dog next time. The donuts have a similar texture like cafe de mon beginets. The coffee was really good. Wife didn't like the lemonade it wasn't freshly squeezed tasted artificial flavor. Over all pricing is obviously expensive I give this place a 4.

Boyfriend and I went here on a first date and had a great time! Food was amazing and the atmosphere was super welcoming! Came back for the donuts on Valentine?s Day and dropped the whole dozen in the yard. They replaced them for us and were super sweet through the whole thing ?? if I could give more than five stars I would!

My first visit to Mochinut. The berry refresher was just what I need to combat the Louisiana heat. The food offerings are definitely unique. They offer a corndog-like food that is rolled in a variety of things, from hot chips to fruity pebbles. You can choose from either a hotdog or cheese for the inside. Then it's deep fried. The donut flavors change weekly. Follow their social media for that week's flavors. Definitely worth the trip to try this unique place!

Service was great and loved that hey had Korean hot dogs as well as mochi donuts. Their soft serve + donut combo is pretty fun. That said, while the hot dog was pretty good, the mochi donut was not the best I've had. A little too oily in taste and texture and the flavors did not pop as much as others. Still happy to get some mochi donuts while we were in town though! The wall of gachapon was amazing too lol

What an awesome place, I had never had a mochinut before but they are so unique and tasty! The lemonade strawberry Boba tea is fantastic, get strawberry poppers for it. We will be back for dinner or lunch to try a ramen covered corn dog and Korean fried chicken, their other offerings sound delicious!

The corn dog gas soo good and crunchy. I got the passion fruit lemonade, and it was great, the little containers are soo cute.

This is my third time coming here. On the opening day, the corndogs were great. I went in today and ordered a potato half and half. While I was eating it, I notice some parts were still gooey but thought it was just the cheese, until I got to the hot dog part. The inside was undercooked, see picture. Pretty disappointed, hopefully they'll get it together soon and not serve undercooked corndogs.

Great food, nice atmosphere. Not much sitting space. The hot dogs are Nathan?s beef which are usually salty, definitely recommended the half & half or all mozzarella corn dog!

Definitely would recommend this place to go out and try. Great for adults and children all ages. The race dogs are to die for me and my girlfriend went yesterday. I got the Fritos Rice dog and she got the french fry Rice dog. We also got some other lemonade and it was really good.

Staff is always happy to see you and helpful. Hieu always makes perfect icecream swirls for me and my little sister. The corndogs are a delicious savory, crunchy treat for anyone.

I ordered six mochinuts for my kids, and ate a couple there with my friend. We had great service and we were very pleased with the food. The kids really enjoyed the strawberry flavor.

Over priced donuts - overpriced EVERYTHING . donuts are just ?bread with pockets of air? dipped in cereal , Oreos & powdered sugar. Sauces for the Korean hotdogs aren?t even house made. I?m not impressed. Just another ?trendy spot? with colorful packaging.

We arrived with a 2 and 5 year olds for donuts which were very good; 4 donuts for $13.65 which is ok, not great. BUT then they spied the toy vending machines and each child got one prize at $8 each, so $16 for 2 junky toy key rings, a total ripoff. They understand the tokens but not the cost per token!! So parents BEWARE!!

Donuts ?? are amazing!! If you're lucky and they have the Biscoff cookie donut get it. It's worth every penny. Not a big fan of the corn dogs or whatever they are. The purple bubble tea thingy drink is good too. ????

This was an interesting experience. These are essentially corn dogs with various kinds of toppings, such as flaming, hot Cheeto crumbs. In addition, they have various sauces you can use to dip your corn dogs into. It was actually very good. We did not try the donuts, they seemed a little pricey.

It?s ok if you like crunchy corn dogs at a high price and donuts that are great. More like candy donuts but they are so good. My granddaughter loves it and it must be a young person thing because it?s full of college type kids. Not my favorite meal.

Not the best and not the worst. In my opinion the hotdogs were good/alright and the donuts too, but when I ordered the Ube with the Boba both of the ones I ordered were too damn sweet. And it wasn't the best... Also, one of my family members went there to get some Boba and they said that the Boba was horrible, disgusting because the milk was expired making the Boba taste disgusting. I really like the place when I walked in I definitely got the girly pop energy and it?s for the girls but the Korean corn dogs I feel like were not it it was greasy if it wasn?t greasy it would?ve been better so if you like greasy food then the Korean corn dogs are for you!!

This donut was really good. One or two is all you need. They a little different then your average donut. Plus they make the milk teas with the bubble stuff. Pretty good. Atmosphere nothing fancy, just some tables.

I was in town visiting family, ordered the donuts with bacon. The bacon was wickedly rubbery. I called to speak to someone about my dissatisfaction, the employee said, ?Oh, well. This is the kind of things I've been missing about California! I really enjoyed this place! I braved rush hour traffic from CBD to metry to have a corndog/cheese stick before they closed at six and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. I will definitely be going back to try every flavor! The service/staff was so friendly, patient and helpful. We also tried the Mochinut, my friend LOVED it. I think I will keep my mochi and my donuts separate but it sure was fun to try!

Light and tasty this was a great find. Always a great selection of flavors and never disappointed.

I came here with quite a few teens. They all loved it. In my opinion, it's overpriced for snack food but the teenagers had no complaints. I will say that I paid about $10 for two lemonades- one was mango and the other was watermelon. They were both so delicious, that I had to go back and spend another $5 so I could bring home a blueberry lemonade for my husband.

Delicious donuts, hot dogs, corn dogs, and even in store made beverages, as well as fast and friendly service, they also have ice cream as well that involves stacking a donut into the ice cream which looks really delicious! The store also has a really beautiful and colourful aesthetic and modern design.

This is a great place! The mochinuts are good, but they tasted like beignets to me. The workers were also very kind, greeting people as they entered and were very helpful. I loved my experience at mochinut. I ordered a half beef hotdog/half mozzarella corn dog covered in Hot Cheetos dust, a Thai tea with tapioca, and five different donuts. If I can give a 0, I would. The girls at the front were on their phones and did not even acknowledge me as my kids and I came in. I ordered the Korean corndogs and the dough was raw. I asked the guy that was working there and he made a face at me as if I was the problem. I am not wasting 16 dollars on 2 corndogs ever again.

From Mochi donuts to Korean Rice Dogs... They make it all fresh and all day. From what I'm told, they cycle through their flavors biweekly, sundays and thursdays. So you'll always get a fresh flavor palette! So far, my favorite flavors are Churro & Pandan... Definitely check those out if they're available. Very disappointing. I picked up half a dozen of assorted flavors for the family. It's all rather bland. The same base with various flavor frosting. The service was terrible. No one explained anything. The girls at the registered were just in their own world and giggling their heads off.

You don't know a great donut until you try these light and sharable donuts. The corndogs are amazing. Get the half cheese half meat covered with frys and you won't be disappointed.

The one who attends is not helpful, I am a delivery driver and she looks at me standing, she is not at all friendly, she acts like she is not looking and works sitting down. They should change the wing that attends to customer service, terrible service, part of her.

Their donuts are ao fluffy and fun to eat. I also love their coffee boba, I have it every time I go, and I don't even like coffee like that.

Was really excited to try this place the donuts aren't really sweet they all tasted like churro without the sugar coating I had 2 of the hotdogs the potato and plain mozzarella they where not bad at all and the lemonade not sure if it's freshly made or not tasted like country time and needed more sugar it was bitter I'll try it again when they have some more flavors I'd like to try
