I took my kids on Saturday it was our first visit. The space was very nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. We ordered the corndogs, spring rolls m, donuts, and drinks. Everything was tasty and the drinks were freshly made and delicious. They have a few games also in the back cards, board games which were fun and nostalgic. We also loved the green picture wall. The server was very nice and helpful We will visit again

We traveled a little ways to get here. The service was great. The food was good. I did not care for the crispy wings I thought they were dry. The dumplings were delicious. The spicy chicken ramen was great. The potato 1/2 was amazing followed by the ramen one! The hot Cheeto one was good but a little on the greasy side. Love the atmosphere and selection of mochinuts! I'm always surprised by the new selections of flavors. I was surprised by my latest visit because we were able to get lunch. It was so hard to choose from but I ended up getting the bao and chicken curry rice. I loved the sweet and spicy aspect. It was served with the most perfect fried egg I've ever seen. The chicken was moist and tender. The service was very attentive and cared very much about our input and feedback. Looking forward to visiting again soon. ?

My sister and I recently went here and we loved everything about it! It's very cute and the food and drinks are SO good, and the service is even better! Chef V is so sweet and attentive. She is clearly very passionate about cooking and will happily fatten you up if you let her. We will definitely be returning!

We?re visiting from Memphis, Tn and had been seeing Mochinut all over TikTok. We decided to go in & we?re so glad we did. The food, tea, atmosphere, and customer service were great.

We came at 7. Closes at 9- so i get it. But The donuts are so stale and hard. ?? this is our 3rd time here at this location ( loved the suwanee one!) but disappointed every time. Especially for $55 for 2 ppl. (3 donuts 2 drinks and 1 entree) The cashier was kind though, this is just food / price based

We tried a lot...pork belly rice bowl, noodles, pork & chicken dumplings, veggie pancake... everything was excellent, highly flavorful, comforting. The chef told us the recipes are based on her mother's home cooking. Highly recommended.

Cutest little spot! Corn dogs, wings, dumplings, and mochi donuts were the best we've ever had!!! Food was fresh, hot, and super tasty!!! Love that it is gluten free!!! I will definitely be making the 40 minute drive to Athens for this again! Owner makes everything herself and is very friendly!

We had a wonderful experience at mochinut! There was only one lady working behind the counter and she brought our drinks out very quickly. She also brought them to our table personally and color matched our straws! Both drinks tasted very nice and weren?t syrup heavy. A bit pricey for boba, but the service and taste makes it worth it.

Fantastic food my co-worker took me over here, and it was very different than what I was expecting. I'll be coming back here for a long time doughnuts are fantastic too. Updated to add: I had the Spicy Garlic Noodles with Chicken and BAO Steam Bun both items are great and worth the price. Had the right kind of spiciness for me as well.

I just went for the first time, and it definitely won?t be the last! The food is top tier, and the boba drinks are the best I?ve ever had. I can?t believe I?ve lived 5 minutes away for the last year, and I?m just now finding this place. I?m sure this will be a daily staple for me from here on out.

The decorations are super cute and the donuts are very good and light. I had a Thai tea which was very good and I stole a sip of my sister?s brown sugar boba which was very yummy as well. If you like your boba on the sweeter side while still holding the tea flavor I would definitely recommend Mochinut. I have not tried the Korean corn dogs yet but they look really cool!

I love them!!! This is the perfect dessert for someone who isn?t crazy about sweets or doesn?t like dessert to be too sweet. DISGUSTING and SLOW. Placed my order at 7:03 pm. Wasn?t ready until 7:59 pm. And it was wrong! They forgot the broth for one of our ramen bowls. The filling in the dumplings was lacking taste. The hot Cheeto mozzarella corn dog had a sweet flavor overpowering the hot Cheeto. The ramen that was complete was flavorless. I have been a fan of the donuts and bubble tea since they opened, and a fan of the corn dogs since they were added to the menu. You have to give this place a try! I got the soy pork belly noodles and they were AMAZING. The drinks are so good (not too sweet or too milky, just right). The donuts were a perfect balance of crispy and chewy, with a good selection of flavors. The staff is very friendly and even helped me when deciding my order. This is also a great spot if you wanna eat + have a tasty treat after!

The atmosphere in here is very nice and the customer service was good. I had the potato half mozzarella/half hotdog and a Thai milk tea. It is A LOT of food even though it may not look it. Reasonably priced too, and they give a discount to UGA students. The boba was also so cute and very sweet.

Got a Brown Sugar Milk Tea Boba. Tea was good but the boba was hard, not soft and chewy, and clumped together so it wouldn't go up the straw. Pretty disappointing considering the price. Realized they overcharged me though, total was $8.37, but the menu price is $6.75+tax. So they overcharged me $1 plus tax. Double check your total or they'll scam you.

The Korean corn dogs were really good! The texture of the donuts were chewy and soft and so delicious; I can?t wait to try more flavors.

The woman who runs the place was so nice and personable. She made great suggestions on what I should try and even makes homemade gluten free Ube Cake and in house made pickles!

Service was incredible, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. The food was the best experience of all! I got the Chicken Spicy Noodle bowl, Mochi Dounts, and a Hot Cheeto Mozzarella. No words can express how incredible the food was. My buds and I enjoyed every moment of this experience, and we will definitely return.

You should definitely come here! The woman who works here is wonderful and she does it all by herself. Our food was absolutely delicious and she got it out to us pretty fast. I recommend the soy pork belly with rice and the lemonades!

Hit or miss really. The brown sugar Boba is my go to. The mochinut flavors do rotate, it?s recommended you look at their Instagram to see what they have in advance. Wait times can get a little iffy and they do stop serving the corn dogs at 7pm, though it?s not really posted anywhere. We?ve been enough to figure it out. I?ve tried the three highlighted foods they serve at Mochinut: the corn dogs, mochi donuts and the boba tea. The corn dogs are always made super fresh and are delicious, I?m definitively addicted to the chewy and crispy mochi donuts, and the milk tea I ordered was good! On top of the cool atmosphere and the good food, the staff has always been super nice. Definitely a must try!

When you enter you'll notice how spacious it is and how nice it is. Also you can take few photos on the left side since it has a cute green leaves background with the sign. As for the mochi donuts, they are so delicious! Just be aware - they are little pricey, but they are worth it. And the flavors of mochi donuts changes every week so be sure to check their Instagram page. Oh you'll have to try Ube milk tea because I think it is the best! Delicious ?? Will come again!

Stopped in to grab a donut, not knowing about Mochinut donuts--chewey, delectable, interesting, new to my food experience. SO GOOD. PLEASE hire a professional housekeeper. I feel like they are making the food service workers clean to lighten the load of actual cleaning that needs to be done but a professional business should have someone that professionally cleans the place. Everything we tried here today was AMAZING!! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. It's super cute inside and feels like a good place to study. The strawberry yuzu lemonade and the raspberry yuzu lemonade are both fantastic. We also tried the crispy chicken with rice and the spicy garlic chicken with rice and those were also really REALLY good! I can't wait to go back!!

I have no issue with the service or desserts here. I just don?t think the food is worth the price you pay. Just avoid their food menu unless your looking to spend a pretty penny for something that isn?t worth it. The food is good (I get the half&half potato corndog)(the boba tends to clump together), but the atmosphere feels a little clinical? it's hard to relax. they changed the music to spa music, which feels out of place. there are bells that hit the door which is jarring everytime someone comes in. there are new menu items that I didn't notice till I went up to order. the location is nice if you're on the eastside and don't want to bother finding parking downtown.

This place is a gem! Not only do they serve delicious mochi doughnuts, but the owner prepares excellent and personal dishes like bbq pork belly and lemongrass spicy chicken that are fresh and well thought out. Just about a year ago, this was one of my favorite donut places in Athens where I would visit at least once a week for various flavors of donut and decent boba milk teas. I have revisited the place after being away from the neighborhood for a few months, to find that it has turned into a confusing "donut shop" with donuts with no distinct flavors, bubble tea with badly clumped boba, and very bad hygiene. I will never return. Very sad.

It was ok. Went at 2 pm and the available donuts had noticeably been sitting out for a while and was not at all fresh. Had a selection of about 6-7 donut flavors. The bubble tea came in a small plastic cup rather than the taller plastic can-like design advertised. The donut was ok, nothing special. Would definitely taste better fresh. The bubble tea tasted all right. No background music playing. It was about a 20-25 minute wait for the bubble tea and already made donut to come out. The place has potential.

We've been coming for mochi donuts sporadically since they opened, but only just tried lunch. We had the mala dumplings and BBQ pork belly bao; it was all delicious! The bao was fluffy and the pork perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back for more bao very soon and are excited to try more of the menu. Google should adjust this location from "donut shop" to a lunch spot with donuts to more accurately reflect their menu.

Honestly my new favorite place in Athens! Nothing better than great sweets/foods in a sweet environment with great service. Felt very welcomed and was treated super kindly. Highly suggest a visit if you?re looking for a calm space with nice sweets and snacks.

The donuts were good but the wait time for a corn dog took well over the 15 minute wait time I was told. I estimated it to be 25-30 minutes for a single corn dog. The bubble tea wasn?t the best and could get better from ding tea for the cost and size. My total was more costly than what it should?ve been and I wasn?t offered a receipt. From what I calculated it was over $6 dollars and tax wouldn?t have been $6 for a $32 order. Unless there are other fees and included tip but I tipped on top of the amount. I?

The donuts are different. They remind me of Chinese style donuts. The icing is great, and the flavors are unique. Not my favorite, but I am a Dunkin and Cafe Racer girl. The service was sub par. Younger adults who didn't seem to want to be bothered with serving us.

I come here for the Indonesian food, so I can't speak to the doughnuts or tea, but I've enjoyed everything I've gotten from here before, especially the mala dumplings! Chef V is an absolute gem of a human and will probably take your order herself. She can help steer you in the right direction if you aren't sure what to try!

The service and food and drinks were very good. However, the place was very dirty. There was a dead roach on the floor and all the tables were dirty. We had to wipe down our own table.

Their fried hotdogs are delicious. I like to add some condiments on them like mayo and ketchup. They're available on the counter to the left of the service area. Their boba drinks are okay. It's just another place to get boba drinks in town. Donuts are good but pricey.

Disappointed because I went and they were ?out? of corn dogs. The donuts were delicious (though I was sad that the sesame flavor was not in season). The milk tea was decent quality as well, with softer, chewy boba (which I prefer). My one complaint is that none of the tables or chairs were clean. They were covered in crumbs and icing shards.

This is a really unique spot in town, probably one of my favorite Asian places in Athens. The doughnuts are really good but what makes this place special is the food. The owner Viana also makes a bunch of additional food like curry and chicken dishes with pandan mochi scallion pancakes (my personal favorite).

Pretty good but the donuts were expensive for what they were. I love the texture of the donuts but they leave a really greasy taste in your mouth unlike most other donuts. The toppings could also be a little bit higher quality but I?d go again if I really had a craving for them

Honestly really disappointed? there?s no sides to go with the corn dog. They don?t have water cups and water bottles were a dollar. A single donut was almost $4, and it was nothing special. Super overpriced and if they charge that much they should at least have water cups. The boba isn?t freshly made either. Not going back.
