Mochii Donut

Mochii Donut

Reviews Summary

Overall, reviews are mixed but lean positive, with many praising the delicious donuts, boba tea, and unique corn dogs. High ratings highlight fresh, flavorful treats and good customer service, though some find prices steep. Common complaints include slow service due to understaffing, inconsistent food quality (raw/doughy items, old oil taste), and occasional rude staff. While some love the chewy mochi donuts, others feel they lack authenticity. The boba drinks receive frequent praise but sometimes suffer from overcooked pearls or weak sweetness. Worth trying for patient customers, but may disappoint those expecting quick service or better value.

Customer Reviews

I ordered 3 corndogs, 2 potato mozzarella and 1 hot cheeto mozzarella. The hot cheeto corn dog was a half&half, but we still paid an extra dollar for the mozzarella. Ordered to-go so we could eat at home, but we live 30 minutes away from the mall so we can?t do anything about it. $10 for a single corn dog is not worth it might I add!! Especially when the one of the potato corn dogs was way smaller than the other corn dogs we bought. I?d also like to add that they don?t give you your receipt unless you ask,

The service was bad. The workers were rude and had a sour face the whole time. She didn?t give us the right food that we asked for and we payed a lot for our food. It wasn?t worth it and the whole experience was confusing. They didn?t seem to know what they were doing. I recommend tow hands instead for Korean corn dogs. It?s cheaper, more yummy, the service is amazing, and it?s only 2 minutes away. I don?t recommend.

The food is FANTASTIC. I got the mango milk tea, and it was probably the best thing I had all day However, the workers didn't seem to want to be there, which is understandable. Working jobs like this suck.

Recently opened at the Fox Valley Mall food court (right next to The Great Steak)!! They have delicious mochi donuts with good variety and didn't have any sold out when we went. You can get a single donut or 3, 5, or 9 donuts at a time. It's $3.50 for a single donut. Matcha green tea and churro ones are great. We also got strawberry ones which the kids loved! Chocolate and cookies & cream are good too! I think most Mochi donut places do change their flavors but would have a variety of flavors available. W

These donuts are delicious. Tried it for the first time and it hit that nice sweet spot. It's a premium treat so the price is a little high, but I think it's worth it for what you're getting. Also tried the strawberry fruit tea. On point. They even seal your drink like it's a soda can. Be wary that you may wait a bit if a couple of people ordered ahead of you. Don't order if you're in a rush. It's worth the wait if you're patient.

They charges a 3.5% credit card convenience fee. Is this a thing now? The food was alright but the donut?s glaze was still wet. When we got the food we asked for napkins they said they don?t provide them. ??

Had the strawberry donut and every flavor for the corn dogs. Everything was amazing! Definitely loved the potatoe one more! Worth the wait and $$$ (Which was about 10 minutes) Want to skip the line? Scan their barcode and just pick it up when they call you!

Tried their mango milk tea for the first time and while I'm usually uncomfortable with chewing boba, I can give a pass for this one. I love coming here for donuts and boba smoothies after shopping and I won't be stopping any time soon!

Amazing food and drinks over here! I got the half mozzarella half hotdog Corn Dog with a strawberry donut and a brown sugar boba tea. Very delicious! ??

The only thing worth visiting in this mall. I?d recommend the Cheeto half and half kdog. They have combo meals too for a good price. I got one with Mochinut, Kdog and milktea. The Kdog taste fresh and homemade, very similar to the ones I got in LA. The Mango Fruit tea good, my friends says the milktea and slushee are just as good. The mochinut also taste fresh. I got the churro and it was delicious!

Donut (Matcha and Churro) - 9/10 Milk tea (Mango) - 6/10 Corn dog (Hot cheetos) - 5/10 Milk tea and corn dog is okay, but I think I would stick to other locations to get these items. The donut was very good though, I would come back to get it again. PS: The top of the boba can is so hard to open, especially with longer nails or people with disabilities. I?d recommend changing it for easier use.

I DoorDashEd a brown sugar milk tea, a hot Cheetos mozzarella corn dog and a match/mango/strawberry and taro donut! All delicious! Super fresh.

Was at the mall and decided to try it out. Hot cheetoh corn dog was big and delicious, not too breaded and good flavor. Matcha donut was amazing. Definitely coming back.

Don?t even waste your time or money.. the corn dogs are hollow, no flavor. Ramen cheese corn dog 3/10 Mozzarella corn dog 1/10

Stopped by the day after they opened, and there was a long line. They have a good variety of korean corn dogs, mochi donuts, and bubble tea. They?re decently priced compared to other places that sell the same items in the area.

Lazy worker lied saying they sold out of corndogs. ?Most of our corndogs are sold out? ?No problem, which ones aren?t?? ?Um actually? they?re all sold out?

Poor workers looked so tired and worn out. I went to the mall early in the morning around 10:30-11am, remembered I needed something in the evening and went back around 7:30pm, and saw the same poor girl working from the morning. This is just not right.

The Boba tea was great. The service not so much. The person who called out our order had a really sour attitude. I don't expect everyone to be smiles and sunshine 24/7 but a small amount of kindness and understanding can go along way. Hope the person serving us has a better day and doesn't spread their bad attitude to others.

It was okay for a 1st time try but I've never been to this place and wanted to try it. Kinda expensive for what you get. I wanted a flaming hot corn dog but what I got was more of a flamin hot mozzarella on a stick. I thought the corn dog was going to be paired with mozzarella cheese and then fried with the hot cheetos dust. If I had to come back, I probably wouldn't, not for a $10 fried cheese stick or corn dogs. It was tasty, I'll give it that but was kind of disappointed a little at the same time. If you

Delicious donuts, but they were sold out of most flavors. I only ended up getting 1 ??

Customer service was great the two times I went. The Boba was very delicious, and I was very happy they had non dairy option's. The hot cheeto corn dog was not good. It tasted like very old oil, but my friend enjoyed the regular style corn dog. I also tried almost all of the doughnuts, and the best are the Nutella and Strawberry. All the other ones taste a little dry. Overall, my experience was good. I will be coming back for the boba.

Cute little spot with good snack foods - although the korean corn dogs are pretty big to be considered a snack food! I got the hot cheeto full mozzarella and the potato full mozzarella corn dogs and they were delicious! Definitely should've gotten a drink with my food because they were honestly quite rich, but they were very tasty nonetheless! I can't speak for the donuts or milk tea since I didn't go those items, but it's something to come back and try!

These donuts should not be called mochi donuts. They taste like regular donuts and are outrageously expensive. Mochi donuts are supposed to have a chewy texture. Also, lady at the register was rude. Will not be returning. If this is your first experience trying mochi donuts I highly recommend researching other locations in the area.

These donuts definitely met my expectation. They're light, fluffy, and very chewy.

I?ve been there twice so far. I?ve had the same small issue each time. They are understaffed. The orders take a little long. However, it is fresh and cook to order, so that?s warranted. Each visit, my drinks have been delicious. I have tried the standard brown sugar boba. Delicious flavor, perfectly chewy boba and chilled milk tea. I?ve also tried the lychee tea, which is respectfully on the sweeter side. I paired it with mango popping boba and rainbow jelly. Delectable!! Also, the super cute can top bottle

Got their boba tea with my cousin. Boba was over cooked with no syrup added to it. Our drinks weren?t sweetened enough and filled mostly with ice. There was no option for amount of ice or sweetness.

Fresh and delicious! I can really taste the fruit in the icing, just absolutely mouth watering. I loved the customer service as I ordered for pick up and received a call as I was running late to pick up lol. Overall, loved trying these donuts for the first time.

The potato original is amazing! My absolute favorite item. Only 3 stars because sometimes it comes out raw/doughy and once there was a hair in mine, but overall id recommend

Paid $16 for a corndog and 1 drink. Tasted like moldy cheese and drink was nothing special but boba tasted cold. Atmosphere was nice but I?ll stick to other locations for these food

The donuts and corndogs are delicious, however, they are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Theyre good, but not blow-your-mind good for the price-point like I expected. $10 for 3 little donuts (with less mass than a regular donut due to the shape) and $7-9 for a corn dog?? I hope all the money theyre making goes towards making the prices affordable in the future... The donuts have a nice chewier/stretchier dough and taste like funnel cakes. I loved the Nutella Smores and Original flavors, I've been wanting to try so

Went an hour out of our way to this location because it opened earlier. We were told to wait 20 minutes for donuts. We waited 30 minutes and were then told it would be another 30 minutes for donuts, so we left after wasting 2 hours and got no donuts. I figured a Donut shop would have donuts.

I stopped here for a quick snack , I didn?t believe it would be that amazingly good . The potato corn dog was one of my favorites to try ! My friend did get the hot Cheeto corn dog and he loved it ! Would recommend the taro milk tea as well !

The corn dog was super fluffy, crispy and delicious! The packaging of drinks and the Mochi bag it was delivered in was super cute and reusable!

Perfect donut with fruit tea, so many different flavors, gonna come back and try other flavors.

Mochi donut is THE place for the best donuts . Always fresh and good variety. They also have Korean corn dogs that are not to be missed if in the area . Fast and friendly service

They?re so sweet! and super informative for first time customers!!! The food and drinks are amazing, and the service is surprisingly quick, but still expect to wait since it?s all fresh. They are also very organized considering it was only 2 people working when i went!

Love this place! I tried the corn dogs and donuts. Everything was delicious. My favorite one was the hot cheetos cheese corn dog with a Nutella smore donut. A little pricey. But very delicious

Love these corn dogs! The boba is soooo refreshing but not that big of a fan of the donuts.

This was my first time trying mochii donut. There are amazing.

My kids loved everything specially their Donuts.

Cute mochi dount and corn dogs!!

The donut is actually at average and not as chewy as I expected.

So many different options ! Loved the variety on the donuts ( favorite one was the strawberry) ! The boba was delicious as well ! Will be going back thank you Mochii Donut ! ??

One of my favorite places that?s opened up in the mall. The employees are so sweet and kind and the food is just amazing!

Great donuts and corndog variety, worth trying out. Service can be a little slow and prices could be more competitive.

Drinks look good and they is good ?? But the girl was sitting on her phone instead of making people food ?? and she had alot of people waiting

Lovely cute little gem, Great combonation of boba tea, mochi donut and special korean cheese donut after shopping at the mall.

Super cute and Fun flavors! Good addition to the mall perfectly fits in with food options

The brown sugar tea was delicious and the boba was soft and good

The lady was rude for no reason at all, but the boba was good

Not bad, nothing extra special about them. I guess if you find a place, then try them out just to say you tried one...

Over rated experience! Mochi Donuts are hyped for no reason. Got cold donuts, no taste.

It is the worst place I have found in the fox valley, super delayed, they attend passively as if the client does not matter, one is a lot

Donut and milk tea are pretty good! It's a great location in the mall!

This place is okay There are better options but this place is alright

They take forever to take your order amd when they give it to you

Got a variety of donuts, all of them were awesome!
