Mochi Munchi

Hadn?t tried a mochi donut yet and this was definitely a good place to go for one. They had a great selection of fresh options and I enjoyed the cinnamon jelly drizzle. The texture is squishy yet firm and light, different than the regular donut shops in a good way.

First time ordering here and the donuts are great! They're so delicious, have a soft, slightly chewy texture and it's so good! Blueberry, Butterscotch, Fruity Pebbles, and Strawberry are my favorites. We also got a Taro Milk Tea and it was delicious as well! I wanna say it had a slight Jasmine taste to it? I'm not sure, but I loved it! Totally recommend!

These are arguably the best mochi donuts in the city? so soft, so fresh, the perfect mochi bounce with every bite? and such fun flavors and toppings. I will admit, $35 for a dozen donuts is a bit of a splurge (but should note it is the going rate for gourmet donuts)? Maybe they already do this, but I think it would be helpful to regulars if they offered a rewards program or daily specials. Definitely recommend! And go back for ramen in the same building for dinner! ;)

This place is so nice and the lady that was working was amazing. We got one of each flavor donut and they were all so good. She was super nice and convinced us to get the caramel boba milk tea (i think that's what it's called) and that was very good too. Overall, its such a nice place and has a really good aesthetic and atmosphere.

These are some of the most exciting donuts I have ever had. The textures are truly amazing. My wife, kids, and I all really enjoyed the ambiance, the service, and the especially the donuts. If you are looking for a food adventure these Mochi donuts will not disappoint.

Quite a delightful place! Came in for Wei Ramen for lunch, happily left with donuts from Mochi Munchi. The lady at the counter was absolutely delightful. Even after a long ride back home, the donuts look so good and were very delicious. It's a nice pillowy texture and sweet without being too sweet. Pair it up with one of their milk teas or a coffee from the shop upstairs and you have an absolutely wonderful treat for the afternoon.

We tried the strawberry, matcha and coffee donuts. They were a bit stale and did not taste fresh. I thought they would be much better for all the five star reviews this place has gotten. We should have known what was up when they don?t even have a sign out front.

Donuts were very fresh and tasty. I would recommend the Oreo and cappuccino ones! The lady at the counter was super friendly and provided exceptional service.

I LOVE that you can choose the amount of sugar and ice in your drink. Delicious! On the picture: Jasmine tea with honey aloe, quarter sugar and less ice.

Walked in during the day and the lady by the counter was stuffing herself using her hands and she kept rushing me to ask how many donuts I wanted rudely (probably wanted to get back to eating). I had to ask her to wash her hands before serving. Also this place is shared by like three other restaurants so you can't sit wherever you'd like. The donuts were decent but definitely overpriced and the service was worse. Don't plan on coming back.

Fantastic donuts. Had the chew you'd expect from a mochi donut. Flavors were great without being obnoxious. The boba tea was next level. Downtown Indy seems to shine with its independent food stops, and Mochi Munchi leads the way.

So happy to have this place downtown. Selection rotates of 6 flavors. Mochi donuts are delicious and lighter than typical yeast or cake donuts. Bubble and fruit teas available here as well which complement donuts! Open into the evening so can order as a dessert. Only two blocks north of gainbridge fieldhouse off Washington St, sharing building with Wei ramen. Highly recommend giving a try. Only mochi donuts downtown indy area!

Very friendly host who made the most delicious Monchies for me. I went with a dozen because I couldn't pick 1. All had the nice fresh mochi texture I look forward to and the flavors were wonderful without feeling overly sweet.
