?????????? 5 Stars for Vibes & Flavor Found a hidden gem today: Bober Tea | Mochi Dough. Tried the Supreme Strawberry Green Tea and a mochi donut, and let me tell you? this place delivers. ? Real strawberries ? Jasmine green tea with that natural, not-too-sweet finish ? Donut was light, chewy, and full of flavor The shop is very aesthetic ? floral walls, disco balls, digital ordering, and an outdoor seating nook for the perfect tea break or hangout spot. Location: 6105 Hours: Open daily Vibe: Modern, fres
This new spot is cute, vibrant and has delicious donuts! We ordered a 6 pack of donuts and each had their own unique taste. My favorite was the Churro flavor, but all of them were light, fluffy and a nice treat! There a bunch of drink options too, so you can have your coffee and donuts together. The parking is primarily on the back of the building. We visited on a Sunday, so it was packed. I would suggest visiting on a week day day if possible. The shop has entrances on both the front and the back of the bu
Lovely first experience visiting this mochinut shop tucked into the Mission Gorge area. Immediate impression of the location was very positive. Adorable decor, incredibly clean, nice vibe with the music as well. The service was very fast and friendly. We tried six flavors of mochinut. Each had an excellent texture and weren't overdone with the toppings (in either sweetness or amount). Our standouts were the churro, the creme brulee, and the matcha. The drinks were also excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the bla
This is the best donut shop I have ever had in the 20 years I have lived in San Diego. I am a person who doesn't like sweets too much. The donuts here are sweet but not greasy, and you won?t feel thirsty after eating them, so they have made the sweetness just right. A little pricey but worth it! The environment inside the store is very clean, the interior design is very pink and cute, and the service staff are also very friendly.
I love the supreme mango drink. The little fresh pieces of mango were a little sour. I like that fruity and not super sweet flavor. And the surprise cups! Omg so cute! I love that i got hello kitty. The mochi donuts are really good too. It was hard to pick a favorite flavor. But i will say the creme Brule, lotus, and watermelon were really good.
Hi, I have been ordering drinks and sometimes donuts from this place for the last couple of weeks. And so far I have been very satisfied. I work and am very busy so don't always have time to go places, and even though I hate getting charged a delivery fee, the prices for the drinks are fairly reasonable and worth it : ) Sometimes there is also a promo deal. Thank you for making delicious drinks and food.
First off, this place is so pretty! ?? I love the pink decorations and every corner of this shop. Onto the donuts, they are soft, chewy, the perfect texture with a variety of flavors to choose from. My favorites are the strawberry garden, matcha, and dirty taro. Will be coming back as they switch out new flavors every few days. Service is great as well. Highly recommend!
To get supprise gift there will be additional 5+$ and out of 3 that we get 2 are defective and cheap key chain. Food are good but expensive. Toys yes it will be a surprise you will be lucky if you get a good one.
I'm so disappointed they were out of cups. It's frustrating to drive a long distance, especially for children. I hope they can restock soon. Perhaps calling ahead next time would be helpful. It's understandable to be upset in this situation.
We have been waiting a year 1/2 to eat their Mochi Doughnuts xD, and well, the mochi did not disappoint. The drinks we got tasted great, too - Strawberry Green Tea and Brown Sugar Cookie Cream. Not too sweet, and everything tasted fresh. Service was good as well, quick & friendly. The place itself looks very nice, clean, and aesthetic. Definitely recommend coming for a bite & drink.
It's so cute inside (I'm a little biased because pink is my favorite color). Went for the grand opening and took advantage of BOGO for drinks. - Classic Milk Tea w/ 25% sugar - Pink Vietnamese Coffee Both drinks were delicious!!
Very tasty, specialty donuts. Ever since Mochinut closed down by Balboa, my wife and I had been looking for a similar taste. Mochi Doughnut fit the bill, with a slightly lighter texture and flavor. The creme brule flavor was my favorite of the ones, with the churro flavor coming in second. Staff was friendly, but interactions were fairly normal. Decor was over-the-top cutesy in style, and had its own charm, as was some of the visual design on products.
This boba spot is so cute! Me and my buds ordered boba tea and the mochi donuts (YUM). Highly recommend the black sesame donut! Staff was pretty quick and kind. Def will be back and taking my buds. Also they have a few tables outside, which was really convenient as we had a dog and a stroller.
I?m writing this review, not to deter you from going, but so management can make improvements to their new business, and hopefully thrive in the community for a long time. I?ll start by saying the donuts were delicious and unique to anything I?ve had in San Diego. OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT: 1.) When store opened (10:05), everyone walked up to the counter, as you do in every other place, but the line was told they could not take orders at the counter and we had to use the self serve digital kiosk. All go
Had to try the new place out. The mochi donuts was good. The matcha milk tea was okay. Took a bit of time to get our order but overall was an okay experience. The kids did like the Hello Kitty suprise that came with the drink.
I love mochi donuts because they?re not as overly sweet as regular donuts. The flavors are delicious, and pairing them with a boba drink really balances things out by cutting through the sweetness of the donut. It?s such a perfect and satisfying combo?absolutely delicious!
I got the Brown Sugar Latte thinking that it already included the boba, but it didn't. The drink had so much ice that it was hard to appreciate the drink itself. Within a matter of minutes, I finished the drink. I paid around $12 for the drink+surprise in a cup and fortunately, I got a cute plushie (Cinnamoroll with sunglasses), but I basically paid $12 for the plushie, not the drink which is kind of a ripoff? The environment is very pretty and pink, but I probably won't come back due to how expensive it is
Food gets served pretty quickly! Even thought they were out of surprise cups, they still let us pay the mystery keychains separately! Really love this place!
the donuts are SO good and so cute! i just wish there were more dairy free options for the drinks
Brought our cheer team here for a sweet treat before competition. It?s so beautiful and clean. The pineapple green tea is too dieee for! Staff is super informative. They keep the donuts coming and are extremely fast for the crowd they have. Our girls loved the surprise cups and their donuts. 10/10
I was in the fence to give 3 or 4 stars, 3.5 I guess. I was very excited to try this spot and I have to say, I had high expectations and I?m a bit disappointed. My experience wasn?t bad, but for me the quality of flavor and value didn?t match up. They have put style over substance in my opinion. The flavors are a bit too subtle for me and the Mochi donuts are quite oily, even for a donut. The drinks taste good but are over priced for the amount of ice used in the cup. Maybe ask for little ice when order so
Alright, service seemed a little rushed and passive aggressive. Just because you are smiling does not mean it comes out nice. I also don?t like the fact that they don?t accept cash. Oh well
It?s too small, the drinks are ok?but the service it?s really bad, the girl at front counter it?s mad and she?s rude rolling her eyes, to be honest my family and I don?t think it?s worth the hype and the ?toys? aren?t worth it, the day we went they didn?t have the cups and we had to pay extra for one toy
This place is cute as a button and would be my new favorite donut shop if they allowed you to buy 1 donut at a time. That's right, the only way you can order 1 donut is if you buy a drink, too. Otherwise, you HAVE to buy AT LEAST 3. Also, this place has had 5 star reviews for months and just opened this week, so obviously, something shady is going on. Ps. The parking lot is TERRIBLE. Save your money and go to S3 a block down.
Is it good....? Meh... Are 6 donuts worth $20?!!! F TO THE NO! Go find yourself a better place, save your money..
ONE OF THE BEST MOCHI DOUGHNUTS AROUND!! I got their Ube mochi donut flavor and I liked it a lot! Very lightly fried and still keeps the mochi texture you expect. I love how fresh they make their doughnuts ? the frosting is still very soft and gooey! They also consistently put out new trays too. Also, wow! The decor in this place is STUNNING! Super aesthetic and I love that they have an indoor and outdoor seating area.
This place makes for good premium Japanese donuts. I had the churro, the cookies and cream, and chocolate with strawberry drizzle. The mochi doughnuts were all very good. My favorite was the churro mochi because it was not as overly sweet as the other two. All three doughnuts had a nice soft texture. The box of three costs $10. Given their size, I would like to see a more competitive price. They offer beverages made by Bober Tea & Coffee, but that is for another review. The offer inside seating, and I hop
Went to the grand opening yesterday! Automated ordering was seemless. Boba was amazing! Doughnuts were very tasty, got a box and the unique shape lets you share them with friends easily, where you can each try every donut. Highly recommend!!!
Honestly honestly it?s alright not all that & it?s super duper over priced in my opinion! you only get like 2 out of a donut for the price. :/ I rather stick to a traditional donut shop tbh. & the only cute thing is the decor I guess ppl love going to take pictures there. Also they only take card no cash and you can only purchase on the kiosk machine there isn?t an actual cashier. It feels kinda overhyped for me.
I love getting donuts here, it?s usually pretty busy when I stop by and I love that they have different flavors every now and then.
The mochi dough was really tasty !! I love the flavor cream brul?e, it like brown sugars boba
Website says ?Opening April 2024?? in my opinion, if a company cared even a little bit about their customers, you would update you website. This is an amazing way to loose customer retention UPDATE: tried to go there for the past TWO nights at 8:00, a full hour before close just to see they were out of donuts? both times? at a donut shop? like what.?
Drinks are good but too long of a wait
1 hour wait for 3 donuts and a drink, then the drink was sitting on the counter for another 10 minutes before the girl called for me to pickup. Clueless! First and last time here
The donuts and drinks are good. However they do not accept cash. This in my opinion is completely unacceptable and should not even be legal in my opinion. I will not be back. I will take my cash where it is wanted.
I was lost in the store and wasn?t told where to order, customer service was non existent. The matcha was nasty, and I ordered two surprise cups which was over $26 bucks? Just an fyi if you don?t get the light ice the whole drink is 90% ice. Don?t recommend coming here.
Highly recommend this place! Such a cute and fun place to hangout with friends, family, or on a date. Love the donuts, teas, and the plushie is a bonus for the experience!
Nice place, fresh donuts not too sweet. My wife and I finished our 3 donuts in one sitting, they are so addictive.
Donuts were sold out at 6pm? place doesn?t close until 9pm.. service was slow and the workers were rude.. waited 20 mins in a line just for them to tell me they just ran out and they will not be making more.
First time here super cute. The Vietnamese coffee was amazing.
just not good the donuts are not good, and the drinks taste weird. it?s cute inside but no no no
Nice decoration and really fresh mochi donut
Good food, long wait. Expensive.
Please change the clear chairs, the bottom swings all the way back and my two year old fell through when she went to go sit.
The Mochi is Delicious.

(Translated by Google) Very bad service. I bought a box of donuts on Father's Day. The girl wasn't very friendly, much less smiling. I wanted to pay with cash, and they told me I had to have the exact amount because they didn't have change. I had to pay with a card, and when they saw I didn't leave a tip, they gave me an even worse face. In short, I'll never go back to someone who gives me a bad face.
