The mochi donuts have such a sublime taste. They are not too sweet which is super nice and have such nice flavor combinations. The matcha creampuff is like the best matcha smoothie I've ever had inside a delicious pastry. And you can't go wrong with Korean corn dogs. Overall I am so happy I came here and will be coming back.

This is such a cute little shop! Centrally located, friendly staff, and a great product. The corn dogs are so crispy and delicious, the cream puffs are huge and so rich and decadent. The mochi donuts are light, fluffy, and have a chewy texture like no other donut I have had! The flavors are unique and fun, and the place is decorated so cute. New favorite spot!

I ordered a 4-pack of cream puffs for $22/box of (2 original, one matcha, and one ube). I also ordered a medium oolong milk tea!

Food: The mochi donuts here are amazing!!! The are made just right with a good consistency and "bounce" on the donuts. My favorite donut is the Padan coconut. It has a hint on vanilla in it and the coconut helps balance the sweetness. I also purchase the brown sugar milk tea, and the tapioca pearls were bouncy and soft. New (I think) mochi and donut place in kemps river. It?s so cute inside and I actually like their corndogs more than the O mochi ones. They have a large selection of donuts that look good as well. The cream puff was okay, but only tried original flavor. Will be back!

This cafe is adorable. I love the packaging and the decorations. The staff was fast and helpful. They have a great variety of donuts, so we couldn't decide on a favorite, so we tried a half-dozen, and they were all great. The milk tea bobas were decent, I can't wait to go back and try a fruit variation of the boba teas.

First, This location is gorgeous. The calm music and dreamy decor effectively makes me feel so happy. Second, the cream puffs are a must?- highly suggested to eat while cold cause the combination of the chewy layers and almost ice cream like cream inside is a summer oasis. Ordered an oolong milk tea, but it only tasted like just plain milk. When I asked if they could put more oolong flavor, the staff was rude and dismissive, insisting it wasn?t their fault. Poor service and careless preparation?I won?t be back.

They recently opened a few months ago. I personally prefer their mochi donuts compared to the other mochi donuts restaurants in the area. This is a nice alternative to other Boba and tea shops springing up all over. Their slushes and tea based drinks aren't overwhelming sweet. The mochi donuts are good and cooked fresh, which make them even tastier! Lots of seating inside and the decor is modern and chic. The service was a bit slow this afternoon but they gave out tea as a courtesy for the long wait...that's a nice touch!

I absolutely love Mochi Donut. I go there all the time. The Mochi is gluten free and vegan friendly. The staff is amazing and super kind. The atmosphere is chill, and the food is so good. If you're looking for mochi donuts around the area, just stop by here instead Their mochi donuts are decently sized including their cream puffs. They also have Korean corn dogs as well and a few drinks to choose from. Inside the shop, the chairs are very comfortable as it has cushions and there's also a couch on the corner. Good hang out spot. Could use someone to clean the tables here and there though.

Donuts were so good and not super sweet and light filling. The corn dogs were so bomb, I wanted to have like 3. We got the hot Cheetos and potatoes corn dog with nacho cheese. Then I got a brown sugar milk tea boba. All was amazing, my kids and husband loved it.

Happened to find this place when we went to the new super market in the same shopping center. They?re offering an incentive for new customers so I signed up and was able to take advantage of it and ordered much more then I would. Everything was amazing and we?re so glad to have found it. I love the super fluffy soft, then chewy texture of the mochi donuts. Every flavor I had was good but I think ube was the best. The crumble on top of the puff pastry was not even a little crunchy. That was dissapointing. But the original and the taro custard in the pastry was delicious! The jasmine tea was refreshing and had real fruit. The boba milk tea was good too. Warning! The donuts are addictive if you like mochi. Be prepared to come back often.

BEST donuts in VA! Today I decided to visited this place while waiting on a pizza next door. This place surprised the heck out of me. Their kindness, hospitality, quality and the overall pride they take in their business is amazing and it reminded me of back home. They take pride in their business and it shows. Their food was amazing, their donuts taste WAY better than any other regular donuts. Keep doing what you are doing. I wish more businesses were like yours. Great attitudes, professionalism and food.

I saw Mochi Donut & Tea in a local food group I?m in. Since it?s off kempsville I decided to give it a try. The staff is so friendly and the place is adorable. My girls and I each had a brown sugar boba. Their?s were caffeine free, mine was not but we all agree they were delicious. We got a hot Cheeto Korean corn dog and the cheese stretch was something to be proud of. I also got a regular crispy potato cheese dog and it was so good! I highly recommend this small business.

My daughter and I had the BEST experience here! It was our first time so we got a lot of things to try! All of the corn dogs were fantastic, as well as the donuts! We also got the boba milk tea! Wonderful donut shop!! They have different decorations for the same flavor so you can choose to your liking for each one. The atmosphere is quiet and nice. The donuts are super tasty and they're often bringing out fresh ones! Happy to have one so close by and hope they stay for a long time, so everyone visit and buy lots of donuts!

I loved the atmosphere. The staff seemed to really be working hard, and I appreciated that. The donuts were very delicious I have to say. The strawberry and cinnamon were flawless! My boba was good, it?s just the pearls were a bit harder than typical that time. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place.

We went here for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! I had the toasted marshmallow donut with a brown sugar milk tea and my husband had a strawberry donut with an oreo milk tea. I honestly had a drink I wasn't very happy with because my husband had selected a substitute for my Boba because they ran out of their brown sugar Boba. I was in the bathroom and expected that they would not have put anything in it as they didn't have the correct Boba. Butttt it was the Cristal Boba. The prices are high, but it's worth it. Idk what they put in their food, but everything is better than anything comparable elsewhere. These aren't your average donuts.

I've never had a mochi donut before, but I'm happy I tried them here. The are not overly sweet and has good texture. The topping flavors are excellent (mango, taro, coffee). The cream puff is large, and filled with delicious custard. I will come back to try the different boba flavors and more food items.

My recent visit to the donut shop left me with mixed feelings. While the donuts were decent, they lacked the true mochi taste I was craving. Plus, it was a bit disappointing that the cashier couldn't tell me about the donuts of the day. On the bright side, the aesthetic of the place was quite appealing. Despite the initial letdown, I'm willing to give it another shot in hopes of experiencing that authentic mochi flavor I've been longing for.
