Visiting from Florida and my bro in law told me about this place and how really good it was and it's minutes from their house. Decided to try it out for breakfast for the family. It's a simple spot..nothing fancy and a well organized display case of the various doughnuts and other pastries she offered. I got a variety of them and I must say these are one of the best doughnuts I have eaten. The taste and flavor were perfect and stayed soft for 3 days. MJs definitely lives up to expectations. The donut variety is great, and the apple fritters are definitely worthy of their reputation. Simple donuts at a cheap price. That's all I'm looking for from a donut.

I want to preface this by saying that I don't typically eat this style of donut. They're not like any others that I've had before. But they're without flaws. Crispy but tender, chewy and soft. Buttery and sweet. It's like being kissed by a cloud. Their pastries are solid choices, but the donut is what you come for. And it's worth staying for. If you want the office to love you, buy them these. If you want your spouse to love you, buy them these. Truly a dough apart from many others.

My first time at MJ. These donuts are incredible. Hard to find good donuts outside of New England but this place is right up there. So light and fluffy!!! I?ll definitely be back!!

At one point in my life I thought MJ Donuts was a closed business until I drove by in the morning and notice cars outside. The doughnut shop sells out of doughnuts around 11am-12pm so please get there early . The doughnuts were okay at best but were very reasonable priced. The apple fritter was the best thing.

After two attempts, I finally got my hand on some doughnuts at MJs. Since the selection was vast, I ordered as much as my wallet would allow. 4 Apple Fritters, a Maple Bacon donut, Cinnamon Sugar, and a Cinnamon Roll along with a glazed twisted doughnut. Easily in my top 3 favorite donut places in Charlotte. What I like most about M J Donuts is that they remind me of an old school bakery I would go to as a kid. Nothing super fancy about their donuts. Simple and taste great! Very reasonably priced. They always have the case stocked. Although I would recommend going early in the morning, especially on Saturday. First time there. Donuts were way over priced. Not very big for what they cost. They were ok. The lady was pushy in making me make my choices, and I was the only one there. I love a good donut, but I had better elsewhere. And at a cheaper price.

My boyfriend found this bakery about a month ago and has become obsessed with it, especially their maple cream sticks. He used to only go to KK, but now all he talks about is MJ?s. I think he only comes to my house because I?m a few miles away from MJ?s. ????. The ladies are very friendly and they typically throw in some donut holes as a bonus in your bag.

It's probably the best donuts in Charlotte if you want GOOD yeast or cake donuts- this isn't dunkin or some fancy place where they add tons of crap, these are rhe classics done right and a couple of other surprises like sour cream glazed cake donuts which are amazing; the cinnamon buns or twists are also game changers, the cinnamon/sugar ratio used is perfectly cinnamon sweet. And the regular glaze they use on most donuts is not overly sticky. If you order a lot, they usually throw in a bag or two of donut

This is our favorite donut shop in Charlotte. Located in Pineville. So many choices and we love to come here. We have tried many other places, and this is our favorite and go to now. Worth the extra few miles. My husband loves the custard cream donuts, and I love the glazed cinnamon twist. The grand kids love the sprinkle doughnuts and of course the donut holes.

MJ Donuts has, by far, the best cake donuts in the Charlotte area! We bought the blueberry, Chocolate, and finally, Pumpkin Cake. It had the perfect combo of spice and actual pumpkin flavor. It was delicious. When I arrived, we also got hot and fresh donut holes. We will definitely be returning.

A-ma-zing! MJ?s are so good that every other donut place is a disappointment to me. Upside for my weight is that it?s hard for me to get there when it?s open, but the downside for waistline is they?re pretty close lol. Best donuts I've ever had in a very very long time. Super soft. Haven't had a maple cream stick in about 12 years it tasted just like I remembered from Amish country. Also make sure you get there early. They close as soon as the donuts are sold out even if their door says different.

Visited last week for the first time in a long time. 8:30 on a Friday morning. I had a feeling the donuts might not be the freshest, but I didn?t realize that until she was already asking for my order. By the time I drove 20 minutes home, the glaze was already sliding off the iced donuts and within a few hours they were all an absolute leaky, runny mess. These were a day or two old for sure. To add insult to injury, she charged me 29.95 for a dozen donuts. Never again!

MJ's Donuts serves some of the best donuts around! They're made fresh every morning and they offer a great variety from cake donuts to Eclairs to donut holes. The women there are super nice. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they close at noon. You have to get there by then or wait till the next day.

This is and has been my Goto donut shop since moving to Charlotte in 2006. Their donuts are always light, fluffy, and have perfect amount of sweetness without tasting too sugary. My favorite is the classic long John with custard. No matter how busy they get, they are always well stocked with fresh, warm donuts.

Great local donut shop!!! They have a large variety of donuts and a lot of them taste great!!! They also have coffee here. The store closes at 12 so try to get in before it closes!!!
