Been wanting to visit this shop, one Great name. Very clean and lots of things to choose from Very friendly and helpful staff Great donut, they have other food and lots of drinks such as coffee etc. open various hours, be sure to view their times of operation. I got the Apple Fritter, very soft and fluffy with a blast of Apple . I will be back

I moved to Castoville Ca., about a month ago I was offered a donut from an office staff and I could not believe myself that I had four donut! I have always been a one donut guy but not that day. I had to take my son visiting from Davis Ca. I didn't mention to him that I had eating the donut before so I just choose 3 and he pick one, 5 minutes later he ask me " Dad can I try one of your donuts" sure help your self. The sugar donut. Can we just take a moment to talk about how amazing it is? It's so perfectly light and fluffy with the nice sweet hints. I'm obsessed. The people that work here are so kind and full of smiles, even when the line is out the door. I never feel rushed. The prices are perfect too
Only reason I give this 3 stars. Is on the performance of the owners past paint ball experience.... fyi inside joke. It's got good products. And a local family busines. Realy more a 4.5 -5.
I was driving through Castroville late one night and stopped at one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants Li Yuen, right by the Missing Hole Donut Shop. I ordered a combo plate to go and ate it in my car. As I was sitting and eating I saw a man, his wife, and their two little girls pull up to the donut shop, delighted to buy some donuts. Unfortunately, the donut shop had just closed. The girls dropped their heads in defeat and trudged back to the car.. that is until a worker opened up the door and c

It's easy to become drawn into the obsession of making little adjustments to keep the donuts uniform and squared up inside the box. Our box was missing the donuts and holes in record time Donut fun no matter what can be experienced in Castroville, CA.
This place is DOPE! The adorable spunky girl at the counter- combined with the gorgeous Latina sporting hot pink bangs, would have been enough for me to recommend this spot. But, Holy Heck! This cinnamon twist thing is the stuff dreams are made of. Its like an old fashioned cheese stick/twist we used to get at Maddocks Bakery in Soquel in the 70's. Chewy, soft, amazing. I haven't even gotten to my breakfast burroto yet! I wanted chorizo but they were out- so I'll have to settle for bacon. First world proble

Ive grew up going here and wouldnt go anywhere else at all, The owner Dan is an amazing person all the way around goes above and beyound to help the Homeless out with something to eat,, the staff very fast working not always friendly at times

Like their donuts for a long time, but recently their donuts do not taste that fresh, like no that chewy and soft, compared to what it used to be taste like.
Everything about this place from the food to the staff is absolutely amazing... It is not expensive for great food !! Will definately go back when in town again !!!
