Miss Donut & Bakery

Reviews Summary

The consensus is mixed, with many praising the friendly service, fresh donuts, and good coffee, particularly in the morning. Positive reviews highlight the owners' kindness and reasonable prices. However, several complaints cite hygiene issues, stale or reheated donuts, misleading menus, and poor service. Some mention uncomfortable encounters with the owner or homeless people near the shop. Good place to come get those treats! Variety is pretty good. Come check it out.

Went in at 5:00. A.m. charged me $17.50 for had to be yesterday's donuts cuz they were stale definitely not fresh and soft. First time and last time

I'd definitely call this a hole in the wall. The donuts we had were super. The woman working at the time was so sweet and helpful.

Family owned & operated, nice people with fresh bakery goodies at low prices. Ham & cheese croissant & a Boston cream filled donut is my go to.

Get the ham & cheese croissant + jalape?os, ask for it warmed up - so good. Just trying the cronuts, they?re crazy !

The donuts aren?t that great & on top of it they need to pulled down 80%of their menus. Most of the stuff they have advertised isn?t available. I understand they are a small business but as a small business owner myself I wouldn?t miss lead customers by having menus with items that are rarely available or never available. For that reason I would say don?t support this business until they can show some decent business ethics.

Great tasting glazed donuts and the coffee is fresh. Good price for a dozen and my fellow employees love these in the morning. I've been coming here to Miss Donuts ever since I got a contract in Lomita.

Went specifically for the muffins. Got the blueberry. Only a few blueberries inside and it was dry. Very disappointing for $2.

I was happy to see that this donut shop offered Cajun food. I was concerned about the B health score but decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I wasn?t able to try the food because the employee/owner refused to serve my wife and I ( two black women.) His explanation for refusing our order was lack of butter even though we explained we didn?t want butter. The employee/ owner could be seen laughing at us as we returned to left.

The Donuts taste like they have been sitting out all day. Not fresh at all. I gave it a 3 because the young lady was very nice and friendly. The overall energy in this place was pleasant, the Donuts not so much.

DO NOT SUPPORT !! Owner likes to grab on his own workers without their consent. On top of that the sheriff told her there?s nothing they can do because it?s part of their ?culture? which is NEVER okay ! Smh do better.

Unfortunately I didn?t get a chance to try their donuts because of the very rude man that works late at night. I think he is the owner. I hate to bring race into it but he really treated me rudely from the moment I walked in and I know it was because of the color of my skin. I walked in at like 11pm asked for a dozen donuts holes and realize I left my wallet in the car so I say hold on one sec I have to run to the car and get my wallet. So I do and come back in a and noticed he didn?t even get the donuts I

Ordered a bacon and egg croissant sandwich. A thin piece of egg with microwave bacon. I go to pay he says my card is declined. So turn to his atm probably owned by him with the same card and get 20 out but a 2.50 charge. Pretty sneaky. I won't return. Lame

Had a glazed donut and a cinnamon sugar donut, they were both good and soft, it seems they're busy time is in the morning so the afternoon it's mostly to get rid of inventory. Prices are fine.

This guy is notorious for reheating day-old Donuts, if you go there early in the morning he will quickly grab a donut and try to put it in the microwave like he's doing you a favor but he's just heating up the old Donut to get soft a lot of people in the neighborhood of starting to catch on to this guy if you haven't noticed his clientele is going downhill at a rapid rate

I?ve had the sugar twists, crumb, coconut, iced coffee and today their bran muffin. I?m not a fan of the coconut but my friend is. Over all I enjoy paying this little shop a visit

Food seems to be tasty, but too processed. Even simple coffee contains sugar. Only for sweet tooth. M size standard coffee is about 500 ml!

it would be nice to be able to drink coffee & donuts without homeless people always lurking & smoking near by all around the shop U can tell owner allows it They have gotten cleaner than before though no more Rats in the parking lot

Best donuts on PCH in Lomita the Cajun seafood is the bomb also, but is only served between 7am to 7pm. Calling ahead is optimal.

Selection could be a little better but the jelly donuts are really good better Than last night with your mother . And that was a good time

The definition of "meh". 15 minutes to get a grocery-store bagel? Really? The back area looks really suspect when it comes to cleanliness.

It's ok it used to be my spot there relaxing, with newspaper, and coffee,. Now ,no paperstands ?and a dead atmosphere.

A family of 6 got a great donut each, for good price! ~1$ per donut. Pleasant shopkeeper.

Delicious !! Very kind lady , turnovers are bomb ??!!

Great place, but I was disappointed that they no longer offer cajun food (per the sign on PCH).

Oh my god I cannot believe this place is still running I have walked in there and saw flies flying around the food and sitting on it and it was terrible.

Family run business. Fresh donuts everytime. Attentive and polite workers. Please support this business.

I'm not happy I paid for some tickets that I never get and the guy say he give them to me they lost a costumer
