The workers in the bakery are really awesome! The donuts are always delicious and they?re so nice at the counter. I came in today with an unexpected large order for my team at work and the lady that helped me was so nice. Best donuts in town!

Really enjoy shopping here, esp the bakery for the donuts and peanut butter cookies with chocolate icing. The meat dept. is large with a good selection & has Hereford beef steak. The deli has tasty meatloaf with sauce. I also always buy the veggie bagels!

Loved this place since I was a little kid. Their butter cream sticks are to die for. Recently had them do cupcakes, cutout cookies and a cake for our wedding. Everything was delicious and exactly what we ordered. Only complaint would be that the box they put our wedding cake in was too small for the lid to shut so we had to wrap it to keep it fresh until the reception, and there was a little confusion about the pick up date. Other than that, very pleased with everything.

I used to love their donuts, everyone does, but lately they are just not good anymore! Don?t taste fresh, often smashed, and I swear they changed their recipe. The yeast donuts taste something like funnel cake now and they are a more yellow color inside than what they used to be. Not sure what they?ve done, but I?m not buying anymore anytime soon. They do have some good deals on things now and then, but regular prices are very high. I understand they are a small local store and can?t compete with some ?oth

Picked up a large order of donuts at the bakery and the service was great! They even had a gentlemen help me load them in my car.

I found a hidden gem in Ashland! Wow, the bakery, the pre made sandwiches, the salads! I stumbled into this little store not expecting much. What a wonderful throwback to the way small town stores used to be. You can make your own salad at their salad bar, grab some chicken wings at their hot food bar, or piece together a picnic lunch. Can't wait to try our huge cookies, and to make a trip back!

Asked meat department employee about chuck wagon patties said we quit carrying them no reason for me to come back to this over priced place. Bought 2 pounds of ground beef since I was there tasted awful found long brown human hair in it. Won?t be back

This is my #1 to go to for cake for many years ? the butter cream frosting is sooo good. And of course their donuts are amazing too.

The staff seemed very committed to making sure we felt welcome. One was almost disappointed that the two of us wanted to take our two bags and case of cokes out to the car without his help. Donuts were good. We don?t live nearby but if we did this would probably be a regular stop.

Its a very nice store! I thought of this place to buy MEAT , because Aldi's was having sewer problems ... So came here to ( BUY ) meat and head home to cook and eat . I did not like seeing a employee follow me and my daughter around the store to make sure we were not stealing !! And then continue the act as a casual customer and walk out of the store, with nothing in his hands not pushing a cart and casually walking out of the store to the other entrance in the store!

It's more expensive and you have to check items on the shelf to make sure they haven't expired. But with my daughter having a dairy allergy, I have been impressed that they are carrying more plant based alternatives. It's nice to have a place a minute from my house to pick up last minute things.

Such a small town grocery store vibe going in here! The donuts are amazing. We usually get some on Sunday morning, and have to stand in line (totally worth it). The deli takes orders for fried chicken. They shut the fryers down at 5:45PM, bit as long as you have an order in, they'll make sure it's hot and fresh!

Very clean store. Well, lit aisles are wide and easy to maneuver for anyone that is handicapped. Workers were very helpful. This store has Delicious donuts cookies and cakes. If you want delicious baked goods for family or friends, this is the place to go.

I ordered 8 dozen cupcakes for my sons' graduation party 2 weeks in advance. When I went to pick them up, 2 hours before the event, they didn't have them. The employee had written the wrong date (18th instead of 8th) and even had written the order for 4 dozen instead of 8. I was left frantic and scrambling to find something to replace them, all the while trying to set up for a very important event. I love their baked goods, but I will never again trust the bakery with an order for an important event.

This store is amazing. So friendly and helpful. Beautiful displays. Food in area where it is cooked was delicious. It was wonderful to pick up and take home home.

The doughnuts are fantastic! The hot deli foods are homemade and delicious. The price per pound is okay, just remember that you can ask for smaller portions. They have tables where you can eat. They have a new ( to us) coffee place, they have a drive through too. They also have items that are really a good deal. They had Easter coloring tubs in a package for. 10, like a little flea market, allow kinds of random items, big and small, good deals.

I have been going to this store since I was a child(35+yrs) for the Deli and Doughnuts. I've had pretty much every baked good they have to offer and it's the best there is for any item! I especially like the cream sticks and apple fritters! The cream inside the cream sticks is so fluffy, that it's like eating a cloud and the cream is not overly sweet like about every other bakery makes their cream. Great store! Love coming here & getting the baked goods & fresh cut meats. Love the 5 for 24.99 deals in the meat department. They are perfect portions for 1 to 2 people. Being single myself & cooking for my dad (mom passed away) it's nice to not have to break the package down in order to have the right amount. The store is bright, clean and well organized. The staff is friendly. Their bakery items are AMAZING!! Some of their prices are higher than other stores, but you might expect it being that they are an independent local store. Be an informed shopper and you'll find the happy medium.

This grocery store is clean and the layout is well thought out. The produce is top quality. The meat section is well supplied with choice cuts of meat. The prices are somewhat high, but you do receive a nice cut of meat ..absent of excess fat or excess bones. The deli offers quality meats & side dishes. The bakery has a wide variety of baked goods. The check out you pull your cart up & the cashier takes the items from your cart & rings it up. Their bagger loads your groceries on a cart & takes it out to you

I have never had a better experience at any grocery store. The cashiers were so kind and helpful. The bakery was absolutely stocked and was a great addition to our experience, which was recommended by a kind blonde cashier there. We are from out of town and stopped because they had a soda that is not sold where we live. The store held all of their cases of it for us after we called. I wish I knew the people's names who helped us but would highly recommend stopping here for any of your shopping needs whether

Such an awesome store. I moved to Ashland from Columbus and I have missed Trader Joe?s. This place reminds me of them. Friendly staff, we've ordered birthday cakes from there for years and just ordered a wedding cake, they were willing to work with the customizations that we wanted to do, obviously they can't do anything with anything that has a copyright. I'm fully confident that our wedding cake will turn out spectacular though.

Guys listen.. if you crave a serious salad and want the freaking works on it .. this is absolutely the best place to get a salad.. they have everything under the sun for a salad .. and its all fresh . And ohhh so good . Don't take my word for it. Go get you a salad form miller's Hawkins market !!!

I am an out-of-towner and had the donuts at this place hyped up to me so much that I was skeptical. Now I wish I had bought more donuts. They are on par with Krispy Kreme, maybe even a bit better.

Miller's seem to have continued the fine tradition started by Earl Hawkins. Still the best bakery around! Keep up the good work please. Once again the great service at the bakery continues. Walnut cookies and apple donuts are delicious.

I do really like this place. The customer service is great, people are friendly, my kids want to go here for their free cookie and they load your groceries for you. But it is honestly not my first choice in town. For the prices, there are other better options in town. It seems like at least one item of mine always seems to get squished by time I am home. First, there is plenty of parking. Secondly, they're right on the way to home. Very convenient. They are a local market whose prices go from reasonable to a little bit pricey compared to Kroger and/or Walmart, but still manageable for a budget. They do not sell beer or wine but they do have a great baked goods selection. I'll be going back.

I appreciate this store so much. One for the amount of choices and there amazing bakery. But legit how kind the checkout is and getting groceries to your car. I always like going here even for lunch for there sushi or salad and hot bar.

The bakery employees are rude as can be. Will put you on hold and hang up every single time. They always act like they?re miserable. Be careful ordering from them because they lose orders and shrug it off too.

Disappointed about their flyers not coming in the mail anymore soon.....that's how I know I need to go there and get sale items??? Prices are generally higher than Aldi, but they have special items that I cannot find at Aldi. Great bakery, they did a great job with our wedding cake years ago and ever since we always order cakes from them. Checkout staff is friendly, and this is a place where they will still carry groceries out to your car for you, which is helpful when I bring my two 3 year olds with me.

I was in Ashland and thought I would check out this Miller's Grocery Store. There is a Miller's Grocery Store I enjoy shopping at in Norwalk, Ohio. I must admit I wasn't surprised by the cleanliness, the organization, variety of options and the helpful and polite staff. All Miller's stores are well stocked, clean, and hire the best people. Picked up some of my favorite items from the bakery and deli. I enjoyed seeing the drive up Coffee Shop and having an area in the store for anyone wanting to relax. All M

This is a nice grocery store that has a small town charm to it; the signs and lights on the building give it an old 50s or 60s look to it. Price wise they seemed more or less equal to bigger market chains but their selection seemed greater; I saw things I don't see at other stores and regional products you wouldn't expect to find in Ashland (i.e., the Toledo Mudhens ice cream!). I also bought a cake from the bakery and it was, hands down, the best cake I've ever had in my life. Don't hesitate to shop her

I absolutely love Miller's Hawkins! I'm a bargain hunter and so I greatly appreciate their drastic price reductions on expired items and quick-sell items in the front of the store. Another great thing about them is their bakery department that puts out some of the most delicious donuts and pastries in Ashland and beyond. The only critique I would offer is that their avocados are always more expensive than other places in town. I really like this store!

I ordered a CREAM STICK CAKE and a WHITE CAKE with butter cream frosting for my parents 40th wedding anniversary and everyone thought they were both amazing! Decorated beautifully and tasted wonderful!!! Highly recommend this bakery!

Always love shopping here....I especially love the bakery that was closed tonight when we stopped but the service desk was nice enough to go behind the bakery counter and get me a cake that I wanted for a cookout the next day. Wow!! The deli staff was extremely rude and untrained. I was speechless at how customers were being treated. I got a cupcake from the bakery, got it home and it was very hard and dry. I found so many items in the dairy section and on the shelves that were out dated as far back as December of last year. I just couldn't believe how far down hill this store has gone since it became Miller's. So sad, Hawkins was a great place back in the day.

Miller's Hawkins Market is a very nice place to shop. They have friendly workers. Shelves are always stocked with good choices. Produce is fresh and they also have competitive sale prices. Best of all, just ask my family, they have the best doughnuts !!

Miller's is a great grocery store with out a lot of other stuff. Just a good home town store with no frills. The associate are all so nice and helpful. They have bag boys, who bag of your groceries and take them out and put them in your car. Usually short lines and easy check out. Highly recommend it.

They're making an effort to keep their prices low however they allow people in the building that are not protected by face masks. They should make a rule no mask no entry as other retailers have done. That way people will feel safer shopping there.

Miller's-Hawkins has the very best donuts and cream sticks and a huge selection, plus their coffee is very good too. They have a nice little area to eat your pastries, away from the other customers.

About a month ago my mother was checking out minding her own business and a the cashier harrassed her. She is 63 years old, 5 foot 1 and 100 lbs. She has stage 4 lung cancer and does not feel well. She did not say anything to her. Why would she harass her?! There was no reason for it to happen. Won't be going there again!

Our family enjoys shopping at Miller's. We prefer their smaller setting with more intimate service. We prefer their meat selection to that of the big box stores. Obviously, their donuts and bakery are too notch too!

Awesome bakery, great service. Some prices are high but they make it up in service. Anytime I've asked if they have a particular in stock that is not on the shelf, they do not hesitate to check in the back.

Everything was easy to find, and the employees were very pleasant to deal with. Would return. Prices were average but that?s everywhere.

During the stupid governess shut down we could go to this place and get the food we wanted. They almost always had everything. There people that work there are fantastic. I drive from mansfield to there now. Will be the only place I shop for groceries.
