This was a roller coaster cake Militello?s made for my son?s birthday. We got SO many compliments about how moist and delicious it was. Thank you for bringing quality and amazing customer service back to Militello?s. Militello would be so proud!

We've been coming here for years, always great. When Mr. Militello passed the previous new owners did it poorly. Now Steve & Tim ( The New New Owners) are bringing it back to it's glory. Very pleased with the baked goods and counter staff, Thanks folks.

Update: Was contacted with an apology and a gift certificte to use at my convenience. The explanation that a new baker still learning.... This used to be our go to bakery for cakes. I ordered a carrot cake for my husbands birthday and was severely disappointed not only was there more frosting than cake, it tasted awful. No flavor in the cake itself and the frosting was buttercream not cream cheese as you would expect. I am sad to say I dont believe we will be back. Its a shame they used to be so good.

Was in the area for business , and being Italian, I saw this bakery while driving, and said to myself, cannoli n fresh baked Sourdoughbread? Really glad I visited cuz I got just what I was thinkin about, but couldn?t turn away from the almond biscotti too and all three were delish, and conversed with one of the young owners , and said I?d be back , and after trying all three later that day , I will go a few extra miles to try something else plus what I got my First visit definitely.

I have purchased paczki every year here. I?ve always loved the cannoli cream filled ones. I purchased 8 Monday for $27. I think I was charged ed $5 for the cannoli ones. Boy were my husband and I disappointed this year. They were extremely dry and I had to eat through almost 2/3 of the doughnut to get to any filling at all. Not going to spend that much money again

It was my first time trying this bakery. I went in and spoke with a baker about the specific design I wanted for the cake. I asked if they had white pearl beads and he said yes. I never asked for silver balls. I showed him a picture and he seemed confident that he could do the simple design. My husband ran in and picked it up. This place is a joke. I?ve already wasted enough time with their disaster to our wedding cake. I?m not going to waste time on the details we ordered a cake, sat with the baker showed pictures and gave descriptions of what we wanted and what we did not want. My husband and I visited for the grand opening. We met the owner and his family. What a sweet story behind the new owner, his family and the Militelo family. I purchased cannolis which are amazing and pretzel bread that was delicious. The cake was moist and out of this world. I can?t wait to go back to try another item and see the window display which was meticulously decorated for the holiday.

This place is literally unbelievable. My wife and I paid nearly $800 for a smaller wedding cake. Dolly took us to the corner table on the left side of the building, set us down, got all of our ideas for the cake, and then said we would also get a free mini cake, on our one year anniversary. As soon as we called them for our free mini cake, one year later, they lied to us and said that we needed to pay money for it and that was not part of their practice. This was a lie straight out of the pits of H E L L .

Militello's Bakery did an outstanding job on this custom cake for my daughters 50th Birthday. Gasper Militello listened carefully to what I had in mind and added a couple of ideas if his own to create this exiting Rolling Stones design. Did I mention that the cake was also delicious? Militello's buttercream frosting is the best in the area. Great taste, but not greasy or oily that some buttercreams tend to be.

I love stopping by Molitello's for donuts on weekend mornings. The staff is kind and friendly, and the donuts are fresh and yummy.

Loved their chocolate chip red velvet cookies. Amazed by the variety of products and enjoyed great customer service.

Stopped in today to get a cake. Got home and cut it up for everyone. No one ate it, because everyone said it had a very strong cleaner smell and taste.

Very disappointed in the quality and craftmanship of the cake from Militello's. The lt. pink cake is the picture I gave them of the ruffle I wanted on the cake I ordered and the hot pink one is what I got. First time in this bakery was an all-around positive, enjoyable experience. I initially went to Kroger to order a birthday cake, but I was told they could not put a cake topper on it. So I asked the lady where a bakery was in the area and she told me about this place at 24 mile and VanDyke. I think they may have changed owners/bakers. Cannoli cream was grainy, shells too hard to eat, butter cookies were ok, sesame cookies were awful and so were the little biscotti cookies. No flavor at all hard , old smelled like musty. This is the third time this has been the case (been going there for years and never had this issue) i would say dont go here anymore. They arent what they used to be at all. Just my opinion.

I've never been to this bakery and wanted some nice cupcakes. I brought them to work for my co workers. I ate one and it was awful, dry and not enough frosting to even help. They seemed like 3 day old cupcakes. I could have baked better ones at home with box cake. Big mistake. Next time I'll go to my grocery store, at least their's are fresh.

For our wedding we selected 5 different flavors of tortes. Every flavor was extremely delicious. The lemon raspberry is our favorite! The cakes were the stars of all of the wedding food! I was asked repeatedly which bakery we had used. We had a lot of fun at a very relaxed cake tasting, and had plenty of help with determining how much to order.

I was very disappointed with the cake I ordered for my son's 16th birthday. The decoration was not what we ordered and the frosting was hard and dry, like it had been sitting for days. We got our wedding cake for 10/2/20 through Militello's. We chose a raspberry torte and it was delicious! They decorated our cake perfectly to our description. They included the cake stand for free. My only critique is that it was sometimes tricky to confirm all the final details prior to the event. You have to speak to the owner Gasper personally to get any answers. Made me a bit nervous about getting it delivered on time, but it all worked out fabulously!

I made my first stop at Militello's this past Saturday 1/19/19. I bought a loaf of the Italian bread and an apple fritter. They were both outstanding!!! Incredible! We had Militello's make our cake for our wedding last weekend and were not disappointed! Though Gasper was going to be on vacation right before our wedding he still promised our cake would be ready and delivered, and it turned out exactly as we wished! We went for the raspberry mousse torte and had no problem sharing the leftovers!! Just delicious and the service was outstanding!! Thank you again Gasper and the Militello crew!

Very good cakes, cookies, bread and donuts have tried different bakeries but always come back for the good flavor and friendly people. Bought a small cake today and asked if it had butter cream frosting. I was told yes but it had a lard frosting very greasy and heavy on the stomach. So i don't think i will be buying anymore regular cakes.

I love the bakery. My mom likes to take a ride over when she visits me. She loves the canolis Always have good sweet treats! Its a must if you are needing sweets and in that area stop in and check them out. They also serve breakfast and lunch. They are so friendly. They service is great its clean.

Bought a birthday cake with simple piping decor worth $49. I didn't mind paying that much thinking it would be an awesome cake unfortunately it wasn't the case. we custom ordered a Casada cake for 25 to 30 people the frosting was like day-old because we had to use butter cream and they wanted us to actually pick it out of the garbage and bring it back so they can see what step they skipped. They won?t refund or replace the cake.

Our guests said they had the best bakery near them at Militello?s and picked up a cake there and drove it with them from MI to our party in Philadelphia! It was fabulous! The owner was not truthful with us on the amount of cake he quoted us for. I?ve seen posts on Instagram stating this bakery has great cannolis so I stopped in to buy some. I was surprised when I walked in that this bakery was super warm inside. I guess I expected the opposite considering it?s a bakery. The cannolis were really disappointing. (I?ve had a few in my day!) The shell was decent but the filling was so loose and almost watery. Absolutely no flavor. Just a fluke?

We just bought chocolate chips cookies from there and they are hard as a rock. Not fresh at all. Don?t waste your money just go to Kroger instead for half the price and way better cookies.
