I would give full stars on the food itself and the friendly girl at the counter. However, DO NOT go if you are hoping to get a premade cake and add any personalization. You?ll get a better result at Walmart or Reasor?s with piping letters. This is supposed to be a 1 year wedding anniversary cake, as the baker who was going to make it cancelled on us last minute. When I talked to the manager about this, he said the decorators aren?t there and it?s just front counter people doing the piping, many in training.

I am new to the area and decided to try this place. Not impressed at all. This is NOT a bakery. This is a shop front, selling pre-made goods. 1. They do not fill donuts on request. The staff is friendly. I have historically Loved Merritt's. Lately I've been disappointed because my favorite item (the chocolate covered eclairs) has been reduced in size to less than half, but still costs nearly $5. I could go $3 tops, otherwise it's more of a, "maybe on my birthday," than a special breakfast treat. They also don't heat up their version of a chocolate lava cake, so you'll have to order something else, if you want to eat it there.

We always order our cakes from here and they always do a great job. This last time it was a horrible cake. The design was not what we asked for. I asked for a white cake with some basic happy birthday, and blue borders. Cake was for a 14 year old boy. The design we asked for was super simple and still managed to mess it up. Merritt's has been a staple in Tulsa for as long as I can remember. Delicious cakes, cookies, and more. They keep a nice selection of cakes on hand (and they'll write on them for you) or you can order just about any creation. The employees are attentive and very friendly. They generally remind me to get a treat for myself and I'm not mad about that.

I ordered my mom's 83rd birthday cake from here and it was wonderful. They decorated it beautifully. Absolutely not complaints. The only problem I have is as long as they have been in business, it looks like they could come up with tall enough boxes that would cover the cake.

Bought a gluten free cake for my wife?s birthday, chocolate with chocolate icing. Wasn?t expecting anything too extravagant since it was gluten free, but what we got was inedible. The cake was incredibly dry and tasted freezer burnt and the icing had so much almond extract that it had no chocolate flavor but a strong alcohol taste. In a family of two adults and three kids, no one could eat any part of this cake that cost almost $60 (8 inch round). Never again, even for regular cake and pastries.

I ordered 2 brownies with cream cheese icing the brownies were hard and the cream cheese fell off the top. They were not fresh they were frozen and nasty. I also ordered 2 fried cinnamon rolls they were straight out of a package not freshly made the icing on top was thick and white, nasty. I also had donuts not freshly made they were frozen. Needed a Tom and Jerry birthday cake for my son's 4th birthday. Ryan was able to find us one and even added on extra touchs that really pulled the cake together. The cake turned out awesome and was delicious. Very happy birthday boy. I highly recommend asking for Ryan he was awesome!

My favorite place to get our cakes, cookies and any sweet tooth craving. The employees here are awesome. On one occasion I had to pick up three cakes and some cookies, and I had my toddler with me who I carried into the store asleep. They carried everything to my car for me!

We have stopped by Marriott's bakery every Saturday morning for years for donuts, pastries and coffee. We think they have the best variety of everything. This new location is perfect and hopefully it's better for their business.

Preordered and paid for 2 pies. There is no preorder pickup line. I was told I had to wait in line behind 20 people (trying to decide what they wanted) just to pickup something that I had already paid for. So if you preorder, allow yourself 20 minutes to stand in line to pick it up.

Very nice and helpful employees, yummy baked goods, they helped me look up ingredients for all their goods to check for food allergens because of my son's food allergies, I took away a star simply because they don't have many allergen free options (possibly none depending upon what foods you need to avoid)

Love the baked goodies. (5 stars) Disappointed to arrive a few times these last couple of months expecting to get donuts or an Okie breakfast and then to find out they are closed on days and hours they scheduled to be open?

How is it that it takes 3 associates to tell me what are on the breakfast sandwiches and each and every one gets it wrong? After 10 minutes of waiting one of the girls comes out to let me know that it also comes with onions and did I want them? I said yes but when the food arrives there were no onions. If after 20 minutes you cannot get any of the 2 sandwiches ordered right how can I ever trust you to make a cake that is going to take HOURS!
