Good, old-school bakery with fresh donuts, kolaches, sandwiches, all types of pastries and specialty cakes. Interior design screams 1980's but food is great and staff very friendly!

Always a great place to grab sweet treats!! There is definitely a lot to choose from. Good thing there wasn?t a lot of customers I think they had A/C issues so I was in and out! The lady assisting me was very helpful and help me though the myriad of treats to choose from. I don?t always get a chance to stop in here but when I do I leave happy!

Greatest local bakery, from desserts to breakfast they have amazing food. I?ve liked everything I?ve had here except the sausage rolls. They having amazing cinnamon rolls their claws are to die for and the ham croissant sandwich is top-notch, terrific cookies, and cakes.

So so so so soooooo doggone good. It's been a while since I've had a red velvet cake that flavorful and that moist. I had a slice of red velvet, a filled croissant, and individual pineapple cake. Merritt's bakery is incredible! I love that they don't use fondant. My daughter wanted to design her own cake this year and we submitted her photo to Merritt's and they paid attention to every single detail - from fire bubbles, to a dragon with butterfly wings, a kitty dragon, a dragon wrapping around the side and climbing up the cake to even a number 7 with flames. Very very disappointed in the service. The food was absolutely wonderful. The young lady would waited on me was rude, I felt disrespected as a customer. I had not been to Merritt?s in years. The food was as great as I remembered, but due to customer service, I would not return. She never thanked me for the purchase of food, handed me my change and walked. No one else was in the store, she went back to sweeping the store.

Great prices. Quick turn around. The cake itself was exactly what my son hoped for. The cake was moist and delicious. There was a lot more cake than I anticipated. I assumed the top ?bun? would be mostly frosting but I was wrong- it was mostly cake. I was shocked at how much cake we got for the price we paid. Very happy.

Excellent bakery with amazing breakfast sandwiches

I went in to order a cake and cupcakes to be delivered to a venue that is 6 minutes from their location. The party started at 3 and I didn't have access to the venue until 2:15. I was told they could not deliver between 2:15 and 3. Her solution was to have it delivered between 2:30 and 3:30. Because who doesn't want their birthday cake 30 minutes after the party starts. It's sad that they couldn't work with me at all. I went to a different bakery with no issue.

I'm in search of a fabulous bakery for birthdays and special events. I found Merritt's bakery looking through Google. I arrived the environment is clean, friendly and employees had good customer service skills. I bought a red velvet cake and some cookies. My family devoured the red velvet cake in no time. However, I left my cookies in the car overnight. When I found them the next day, the cookies still tasted great. I will continue to shop at Merritt's.

I ordered a two-tier cake for my daughter-in-law to be?s bridal shower. Showed them a picture, provided them silk flowers in the color theme, and they nailed it. Cake was not only absolutely stunning, but also delicious. I?ve used Merritts for all our special occasions through the years and will continue to do so.

They did a marvelous job on our daughter's wedding cake and the iced brownies the groom requested instead of a groom's cake. They perfectly matched the icing on the cake and swirl on the brownies to the green napkins at the reception. We got a lot of positive feedback from attendees about the lemon filling in the wedding cake, too. Great job!

I live in colorado and was able to order a personalized cake and get a gift card for some extra treats for my sister?s birthday all over the phone super easily. My sister was able to pick up the personalized cake within the hour and said it was delish! Thanks so much!

Always excellent! The staff are friendly and accommodating and the treats never fail to satisfy. I LOVE their sugar cookies. This location is also easy to get to and get out quickly if you?re in a rush. The custom cakes are always wow worthy too!

Great bakery with the worst sausage rolls. I don't understand how anyone can even eat them. The casing on the sausage is so tough you can't bite through it. You just end up pulling the sausage out of the roll.

The baked goods here are consistently great quality. I love all the seasonal goodies they have as well! The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. The cheese danishes are probably the best in town and their selection is so vast that there's always something new to try! The only thing I don't love about the place is their occasional religious music.

Had the Tira misu. It was good but had way too much powder on top. We went in the afternoon, and there was barely any coffee.

Had a few things here so far. Personally, love the fruit custard tart and the little mini chocolate cake. Macarons are huge and tasty to me but my husband tasted more food coloring than cherry.

I would not recommend marriage Bakery for specialty cakes I wanted my son's birthday cake to be the Jordan shoe she did tell me or suggest that the work will be done better with buttercream so I went with that and it's good she failed to tell me that the shoe cake will be a challenge for them to make it was not proportion right the lines were not neat it was messy it looks like a rush job I did not offer or want to give me a discount and they did not have a box for me to transport my cake in would not even

The cookies were very good, but a little pricey, considering that that some of the Walmart Neighborhood Market Bakery cookies are bigger, chunkier, & better. But if I were wanting bakery goods customized, I'd definitely consider Merritt's.

The lady was very kind and pleasant. My son was awarded a coupon book for completing the TCCL summer reading program. The cashier acknowledged that and encouraged my son to continue and grow his interest in books. My son likes to read every word he sees so it took him a few minutes to decide which cookie he wanted. She was very patient with my baby. Even played around with him a bit. The cookie in my opinion wasn't that great (just because I'm not real big on sweet sweets and it was pretty sweet lol) HOWEVE

We get all of our cakes here. In the 18 years that I've lived here, every cake has been exceptionally moist and delicious. Well, there's a first time for everything. I placed my order too late, so I purchased a lemon cake from the display case for a birthday party. Yuck, very dry and tasted like refrigeration. I won't make that mistake again, but I will definitely order cakes again as usually they are the best in town along with all the other numerous items they make from scratch.

Being originally from Oklahoma, i know there aren't a lot of european bakeries, or even just iconic bakeries like this one to choose from. I had a craving for some cake so I decided to try this place. I?m no baker but: I had the little square cake which the nice lady at the counter said they?d melt in your mouth. It melts after you crunch through the glazing to get to the too sweet interior. Had to eat around the frosting. the Italian cream cake piece was okay. Thank you Merrit's! My 3rd ever visit back in July, after deciding ya'll are my favorite, I visited on my bday. My hubby got me a chocolate cake out of the front cases. Months later today, I've kept a piece in tuperware more out of sentiment than thinking it'd still be good. I've had dryer cakes fresh baked or a week old! Still fresh with little crusting. The icing was still fluffy! A wonderful way to remember a wonderful day.

Guy waiting on us said everything was fresh and made today. Which was totally not true as usual but he was very nice and pleasant. The cookies and brownies were hard as rocks (not fresh) and there are no longer prices on anything. The pre packaged items have no dates or labels on them ( Isn't that against the law not to list ingredients or expiration dates on food?) They used to be labels. I have been going there for over 30 years and it's very disappointing.

The staff used to be so friendly, but the young people who work there now act as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you. After I have spent a fortune on cakes and cookies (and the food is worth the occasional splurge), there is no acknowledgment of your business. They simply turn and walk away. Management needs to train these young people to appreciate their customers? business.

Our first trip to Merritt?s did not disappoint! The women working were so helpful as we picked out our doughnuts, danishes and muffins! Everything was delicious. I was quite surprised that a small school could order ten sandwiches for the teachers and when they opened the packaging the bread was molded with green furry mold. Then I was even more surprised that the reply from Merritt?s was ?it?s not mold, our oven is acting weird? and would not give a refund for the moldy sandwiches. I get a better welcome from Quick trip!!! Not impressed with the two young ladies working at the counter. It was a little after 6:00 a.m. when I got there. There was no one else at the time. I guess what they were talking about was more important to them because it wasn't untill they were done did one of them come to the register to ask what I'd like. What a disappointment.

My man ordered me the raspberry lemon cake for my birthday. The cake was beautiful....it had sliced lemons and raspberries on top and the icing decorating was gorgeous. The problem? It had no flavor. It didn't taste like lemons or raspberries at all. It tastes like sugar. The taste isn't bad, it just doesn't taste like lemon or raspberry. It could have been a white sheet cake if nobody told me what it was. Disappointed.

We were excited to come in while visiting Tulsa this afternoon as the place looks so nice! We weren't thrilled with the results though. Mom didn't like her muffin at all, the donut holes didn't taste right to me. The maple bar I got doesn't look like maple bars usually do either, so I'm nervous to try it after the donut holes. Stopped here for birthday treats, both yeast and cake donuts. Service was wonderful and all the danish and the cake donuts were yummy. Unfortunately disappointed in the glazed donuts, we could taste the grease. This NOT typical, so hopefully a one off, as usually all treats are fresh and tasty.

Merritt's bakery went above and beyond the call of duty. My wife and I recently move from Louisiana and had little hope of finding her favorite cake, a doberge cake. After some inquires someone suggested Merritt's. We were in luck. It's a cake they usually make around Mardi Gras and were able to make it. The surprise on my wife's face was worth all of the effort. The quality matches their prices! Everything is baked or created in house! Small local business it's family owned and operated and they always have some of the most delectable desserts! They have a great breakfast and lunch menu, the biscuits are fresh daily and so is everything in the case!

The pastries are delicious. Merritt's has been an all time favorite in our family for many years. Employees always super friendly and happy. One guy in particular (don't know his name) will make recommendations and just seems genuinely happy to work there and help you out. You will most definitely enjoy their cakes and pastries.

I could eat here everyday. Even when it's very busy, there are plenty of workers behind the counter to assist you. They also offer milk free products, which is great for my niece who is always restricted.Their pastries are amazing, but their lunch special are also great! And the meals come with a big piece of cake! Also, you can look at many decorated cakes while you wait for your order. Love this place!

Made the wedding cake design we picked off of Pinterest perfectly and it was so delicious of course! This location in particular is so nice and helpful. But I did end up switching from another Merritt's location because they were so stressful to work with. Coming to this location was like a night and day difference. Once I started making my wedding order here everything ran a lot smoother. Definitely recommend!

I took my kids to Merritt?s to use their summer reading program coupons. While a lot of the other places did not seem happy to see those coupons, the young lady at Merritt?s was great! She told my kids good job, and was so enthusiastic, acting like it was a privilege to give away cookies. Cakes are amazing - moist! The flavor of cake options as well as the filling options are plentiful. This is also a great place to grab a snack with the kiddos or grandkids. Choices to satisfy all cake and bakery food lovers! Wedding cakes available too!!! Stay away from gross fondant and go with great icing and fun designs of your choice.

I now live in MN but when I come back home to visit I order all my cakes from them. Nothing comes close to Merritts baking. Plus when I pick cake up I get a little of everything. I'll gain a few pounds but we'll worth it.
