Mazzoa Donuts

Mazzoa Donuts

Reviews Summary

Mazzoa Donuts receives mixed reviews with many praising its friendly service, fresh donuts, and mom-and-pop charm, particularly highlighting favorites like cronuts and traditional varieties. However, consistency issues arise, with some customers reporting stale or overpriced donuts. Service is generally described as warm, though a few encounters with rudeness or unresponsiveness stand out. While many consider it a hidden gem with excellent quality, others find the donuts subpar or overhyped. Price sensitivity is noted, with some feeling the cost doesn’t match the experience. Freshness varies, with some visits yielding perfect donuts and others disappointing.

The photo tells the story. The perfect snack to enjoy with a good book. The donuts were too fresh and delicious to wait for a proper picture. DO MOT miss the toffee variety. We also picked up an assorted dozen for the workers at the RV repair shop where we stopped, and the guys loved them. The lady at the counter was super friendly and helpful, adding a handful of donut holes to the box. Bonus points for being open at 5:30am. Well worth a stop.

Donuts are a bit denser than Krispy Kreme?s ones, and some flavors are not as sweet. Despite having some leftovers on day 2, they?re still soft to consume.

Ube donut is wonderful. Ube is in the glaze sweet and yummy! We got a dozen glazed. Ube, cinnamon, chocolate an apple fritter, maple bar and the cronut along with cronut biites. Also a couple custard filled chocolate. All so so good. This will be our go to from now on. Sorry Randy's. Also it's right next to Omings . Dinner and dessert that you can't lose on.

A wonderful variety! The donuts were soft and moist! The worker was helpful and kind! She suggested a few differebt flavors to try- like the blueberry glaze! If youre havibg a donut craving- this could hit that for you!

I went here and ordered a dozen donuts to go. They had a nice selection. They were out of their donut holes, unfortunately, and plain croissants. I brought these to the So. Hills Hospital ER department as a thank you for helping my husband with his ER visit. These donuts are delicious, and the ER department employees enjoyed receiving the treats.

I recently visited Mazzoa Donuts and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the delicious smell of freshly baked donuts. The staff was friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain the different flavors and varieties they had available. I decided to try a few different donuts and was blown away by the quality and taste. Each donut was perfectly cooked, with a soft and fluffy texture that melted in my mouth. The flavors were rich and satisfying, with a perfect balance

Felt down and wanted something sweet to bite and had always wanted to try it. Finally did and they had such a selection of donuts that I couldn't pick for a while. Went with a raspberry and ube donut and tasted so much better than the usual donuts I would find normally. Would definitely come back again and even bring home to the family

Great little spot for doughnuts and croissants. Doughnuts are delicious and the croissants are what I've been searching for. I've hit many spots looking for a ham & cheese croissant with white American cheese. Coffee was exceptional as well. Great spot highly recommend.

Hidden gem! Easily one of the best in Vegas. Clean and great selection as well!

It looks like a beautiful place inside. It is a beautiful space inside. It?s definitely a take out spot. Friendly service & definitely an overpriced donut for the lack of quality. Sad to hear they don?t make their donuts on site. Not very promising after finding out that piece of information. Croissant, I did not take a photo of it. It was decent. I?d say it was about a 2.5-3. It?s not easy to make a fluffy, tasty, high quality croissant. Their donuts were not great. Way too much sugar on one side. Not ev

Got the red velvet and ube with sprinkles donuts. The red velvet donut was delicious. It's probably the best donut I've had in a while. I didn't get a picture of it before I ate it. They put their donuts in a paper bag, which is fine. I wish they put them in a box instead. That's my only complaint.

This place was amazing. First, we went to Saint Honore, and they had no more donuts left. Mind you, this was near 12 o'clock, then we came here. we came in, and right away, we got a high-energy greeting. The lady working there was very nice and was very patient. I would really recommend this shop in Vegas if you're on a trip to Vegas and want to grab a donut. These donuts were probably the best donuts in Vegas, and if you have a chance to stop by, you should definitely come by and grab a donut from here.

Love this donut shop!! Delicious, freshly made donuts. Friendly staff. We go here all the time and they always greet us like they know who we are. The prices are super reasonable for the quality of the donuts. They are big too! Super soft. My pics don't do them justice. Go try them for yourself, you'll keep coming back for more! I highly recommend.

We love this family owned donut shop. They are always so friendly and very welcoming. Their store is always clean and the donuts fresh every day!

My wife and I moved our family here not too long ago. One of the things lacking in a city with an abundance of choices is the lack of simple, quality donuts. While you can buy nearly anything within 10 minutes driving, it's amazing that there wasn't a donut shop to satisfy your sugar fix. That is until Mazzoa Donuts opened. What's amazing about this place is that it gives you the old school, mom and pop donut shop feel. It's not the type of place that will entice you with a glazed donut sprinkled with rain

this place is new to me and I came for food next door. I decided to check it out. Food: I got the blueberry doughnut. Honestly I had low expectations and I was wrong. The dough and the most important part of the doughnut was soft and fluffy and light. It had a light blueberry taste to it. I loved it ! Service: not too busy on a Saturday afternoon when I went. Ambiance: vibe was nice. Clean.

I usually don?t leave negative reviews but I had high expectations for these donuts. They?re subpar at best. It?s disappointing

The staff here are always so friendly and remember me. Cheryl was so welcoming to my grandchildren and made us feel like family. The donuts are really fresh and tasty and they open early, which is perfect when picking up family and friends on early flights.

Freshly baked, hot from the oven, soft and glazed. donuts here are the best! . The staff are friendly and welcoming and the whole place is brimming with the scent of wonderfulness that is the donuts. Get yourself a box then get yourself a coffee, drive 20 minutes to Red Rock via blue diamond, park your car by the side and enjoy the scenery with coffee and donut in hand.

This is the 1st and last time I receive bad service. I used to love coming to this place because they have a great selection. I?m usually in 3 or 4x a week buying donuts for clients as well as myself. I?ve even started carrying cash because you can?t tip on your card at this location. Yesterday I bought 2 1/2 dozen, and I just left. I ordered 1 half dozen. The lady grabbed a brown bag. I asked, can I have a box please? She then told me it would be $1 for a box. I said, ?Hmmm I was just in here yesterday an

I come here once a month or so.. but maybe not anymore. I came in and the young man asked me how many donuts.. I said 6. I picked out my six and went to check out. I bought all the premium filled ones.. my bill was high and he handed me a single bag. The bag was over filled and fell off the table. Four of the donuts fell on the floor - I looked at him and he looked at me. After an awkward two minutes I said ?I guess I?ll pick these up and eat them anyway?? He said, ?yeah I guess so - did you want another ba

The amount of times I should have been coming here prior to finally visiting. Wow... I've been missing out. This place is fantastic. Tasted absolutely incredible. The staff was ultra friendly. No doubt I'll be back for my weekend donut runs.

Bought a basic iced donut and a cronut... I was shocked when the total price was over. $6. The donuts were decent, but the price was exorbitant. I believe the Cronut was almost $4!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mazzoa Donuts, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel incredibly welcome. Their genuine smiles and attentive service created a positive and inviting atmosphere right from the start. One thing that really stood out to me was the Christian music playing softly in the background. It added a special touch to the ambiance, creating a calming and welcoming environment. It was ref

Recently opened, this place is very clean and offers a variety of donuts. They are all at a reasonable price and they taste great! This is now my new local donut shop :-)

Best donuts in Las Vegas if you are In Las Vegas this place is a MUST ! Big selection and great customer service. When I?m back will definitely be back to this place . Definitely recommend this place.

Update 3 (several months later): Changed to a 4.8 star review. Whatever they changed worked! I?ve been back several times and the service has been really good/friendly and they have always had at least 1 apple fritter left, even late. Much prefer the authentic taste of these donuts over the Instagram shop down the road! There are 2 donut shops that are too far away that have earned a full 5 star ? Mazzoa has a line up that is on par with the best but I personally don?t like their version of buttermilk. Twis

They serve you day old donuts with the high price went in early expecting fresh donuts. None of them were. I had a half a dozen.

This is a reminder to support your local businesses. We had a bad experience at Saint Honore and came here after leaving there frustrated. Staff was friendly and even threw in a couple extra donuts. 10/10!

Fun! Lots of yeast and cake donuts to choose from plus a few breakfast sandwiches on croissant dough. Super friendly staff.

This is a great little shop in Vegas the selection is nice and varied with decent options for everyone. The glaze was solid and the cronut was really good. 7.8/10 and definitely should be your weekend donut spot if you?re close. Be sure to check my donut reviews from across the country.

Great donut shop conveniently located on blue diamond next to little Ceasars and Chicken shack. Alway a nice welcome with we walk in. Great staff and clean store.

Visited Las Vegas for a family trip. These are some of the yummiest donuts I?ve ever tasted. Perfectly textured and fluffy. We wanted to try something local instead of the usual Dunkin?. I?m so glad we went to Mazzoa Donuts! I loved the variety of different donuts too. The service was excellent as well and I appreciated how patient they were with us when choosing our donuts. I totally recommend this place.

Omgoose! This place is in such a good location (which is dangerous ??) Stopped by for the first time and the Donuts were BOMB, the associate was so sweet! Check it out!

Super fluffy doughnuts, great chew, not too sweet. Definitely worth checking out.

Awesome customer service whenever I come in! Soft, delicious donuts and great prices too. They also offer a punch for every dozen you purchase to earn a free dozen donuts!

Some of the best donuts I've had, pricey but will worth it

I was in the area since I was going to St Honore donuts but they were sold out. I saw this shop and saw the rave reviews so I was very excited to try these donuts but shockingly they were pretty terrible. I took two bites and couldn?t eat more and my husband as well, even my two year old gave me his donut back lol. Not sure if I came at a bad time or what happened but my experience did not match the ones from the reviews.

I really love this place. Though the donuts are delicious I come here for the jalape?o and ham and cheese croissant. It?s something I carve on a weekly basis. It?s not just the food but the staff and owner are amazing. For a mom and pops donuts shop they really make their customers feel like family. 10/10 recommend

The red velvet donut was delicious! The service went above and beyond! I will be back ??????????????

I ordered 6 donuts and they put them in paper bag that broke and donuts spilled everywhere. Most places put donuts in a box or at least plastic bag to support paper bag Cashier was very rushed but I was only customer in shop 10:06am

Amazing service. When the donuts are fresh they're great when they're not, meh. But everyone here is sweet. My daughter and I love our weekly donut runs here before school.

Donuts here are one of the best in my opinion! Dough is not to acidic perfect blend of sweetness and chewiness

I?m a bit disappointed in the Apple Fritters now. I know we don?t get to Vegas that often but when we first started purchasing our donuts they were all fantastic. We just picked up some yesterday 07-12-2024 and what a disappointment we got from the apple fritters. They used to be loaded with chunks of apple and yesterday we bought a large one and it might have had 4 tiny pieces of apple in it. I don?t mind paying the extra for the large fritters but I do expect that they should have apple like when they fir

stumbled upon this little shop to my surprise the doughnuts and jalape?o cheese croissant is so yummy, and the girl in the front was so sweet and has excellent customer service, i will definitely be coming back ??

I'm just mad they close before their listed time of 8:30pm. I was hot when I pulled up after a long day of work. Smh. Stay open til 9pm! Donuts are great though.

Late review. This place has terrible service. Ordered some jalape?o ham and cheese croissants which are tasty. But when I was eating it, there was a giant black hair coiled all through the croissant. I understand accidents happen, so I called and was very nice about it. I didn't complain, just asked if they still had some so I could swap it out for a new one. When I got there I waited patiently and kept it in the bag. Even waited for other customers to be away from me. Finally got to hand over the bag

I?ve been coming here for years! They have the best donuts I have ever had. Way better than pink box and Krispy Kreme. Their dough is soft unlike other places where you bite into a donut and it?s either too dense or it?s dry. I call it Goldie locks Donuts because the donuts are just right. My favorite donut is the crumble and their ham and cheese croissants are amazing! Great mom and pops shop . If you don?t believe me try them for yourself.

The service here is amazing Some donut shops they have bad customer service skills.. But not here , they are pleasant and not moody.. They also don?t get upset if you do not buy more than one donut lol ??

Should you desire dry donuts, this establishment is recommended. Regrettably, their donuts are consistently lacking in freshness and softness. Interestingly, when I voiced my dissatisfaction, the staff member suggested reheating the donut in the microwave. Hahaha a freshly baked donut should not require microwaving.

Unfortunately the first donut I bit into was DRY and HARD old fashion??. Second donut I bit into DRY and Hard?? apple fritter. Third one was a glazed maple it was actually good. I still wouldn't recommend this donut shop. ALL the donuts must taste fresh and good and they WEREN'T ??

Had a donut craving and stopped here on a Sunday. The customer service was excellent and so were the donuts. I got my usual, maple bar and my husband got a glazed donut, yeah we are boring. Thank you to the lovely cashier that helped us on 7/30 around 3pm. You made our day.

Woww I can't believe I'm reading all these negative comments ?? We have been buying donuts from this place on regular basis for the last 4 yr probably and never had a BAD experience or got old donuts. Their donuts are the BEST, my kids and I love it! Ps; I wasn't even planing to put a comment but after I recommended this place to one of my friend, I went on Google to send her the address and saw all those negative comments and felt the urge to put my experiences ???

The donuts here are amazing! My family ordered the maple glazed, sugar twist, apple fritter, cinnamon crumble (so yummy!), lemon filled, cinnamon roll, and chocolate with cream filling. The donuts were light and airy. All of them were delicious. The service was great! The employees were kind and so patient as each of my kids chose the donuts they wanted. I wish I lived nearby and wasn?t just visiting the area. I would definitely visit this shop regularly. But since I can?t, I hope those who do live nearby

Picked up a dozen donuts here yesterday evening. Very good and well made donuts. Staff at the counter was very friendly and even gave us a few extra donuts hearing as we drove pretty far for a taste of their delicious donuts. Wonderful Tasting Donuts with super friendly service. Highly recommended ??

Who doesnt love donuts! I personally love the cronuts and of course a nice chocolate one!

I absolutely love this place. It is super clean. The staff is really helpful in recommendations and the donuts are delicious! I asked if any of the donuts I ordered contained peanut products and was told nothing in the store has peanut products due to peanuts being an allergen. This was awesome to discover, but obviously ask ahead of time to confirm that's still true if it's important to you!

I used to be a champion for Mazzoa, I would tell anyone within earshot how they were the best around. But the last 3 times I've gone have been regretful. The donuts are dry and the frosting is heavy and gritty. There was a time when a day old mazzoa donut tasted like Heaven and now a fresh one feels a week old. Not to mention that dozen hit your wallet for $23ish. Guess it's time to move on to another shop or give up donuts all together because I don't see myself returning

I was excited to finally trying this donut shop after driving by so many times. However, all I can say is YUCK! I bought two glazed old fashioned and some donut holes. All which tasted as if they had been cooked in oil that was a week old. Horrible aftertaste and tasted nasty in general. I would much rather support a small business than a corporation but what I purchased and ate from this place was just nasty. The service was great. I was taken care of quickly. The woman who helped me was really nice as was

This family owned donut shop is much needed in this part of town. they open early and stay open until later in the day so it?s convenient. It?s a great stop if you are going to red rock early in the morning! We tried glazed, sugared, filled, a blueberry fritter, and some pigs in a blanket. My favorites were the pigs in a blanket and the fritters. The plain donuts are good, I have a couple favorite shops in Vegas that I prefer for plain donuts but these will do just fine for serving this part of town.

A tad bit sweet for me, but dough is very soft.

Update: another price increase. See picture. 1 dozen donuts for $25 is ridiculous Another update: my Autistic son likes their donuts, so we came for his birthday donuts. They nickel and dime the heck out of you. Now, a dozen is $17.99....this is about $5 more per dozen than others. Any specialty ones .....even twists....will cost more. Not to mention they now charge a fee for credit cards. So...expect to pay another 4% if you don't have cash.....oh and don't bring bills larger than $20. This place is getti

I consider myself a donut aficionado! I LOVE DONUTS!! I like the regular traditional type verses those fancy crazy toppings kind. This place has THE BEST regular donuts and is consistent! This was my 3rd visit there. I got a chocolate bar, a sugar donut and an old fashioned. The guy threw in a free donut too, I'm guessing because it was late in the day. The service was fast, friendly and efficient and my donuts were WONDERFUL! I highly recommend this place!

Samantha is the absolute best. Everytime I visit she is absolutely amazing. Super sweet, very quick. Her customer service is outstanding, wonderful woman. Most of the time, I buy donuts, it's really to come see her, her vibes make me smile. Thank you! Keep up that great energy. Stay rising and shining.

These doughnuts are OLD. At least 4/5 days. Out of the seven doughnuts only the single cake doughnut was fresh the other 6 stale as can be. Do better. Cook em daily and discard them nightly. Or good luck staying in business.

One of the best, this will be a hit, at least a new place to hang out with my wife.

Best Donut shop ever. So happy we found this place after moving to Vegas recently. This will forever be our go to donut/pastry shop. They make the absolute best ham and cheese croissant. I absolutely love the powdered donuts with jelly. My family and I love this place. They are clean and super friendly.

These donuts are the best in a 500 mile radius hands down.... You ask why? We went there at 8:30 pm and they still tasted great as if they were baked within the hour. We drove home 4 hours away and arrived to eat more of the donuts and guess what.... Yes still soft, moist and fresh. This a quality place!!!! If in Vegas go here for your donut fix. Thank you for all that you do!!!

Went in around 3pm, picked up doughnuts, but selection was sparse. Paid for them, was expensive for the selection and quality. Took the doughnuts home to house full of kids, needless to say still had them left the next morning and by that night they were 6 left. Asked kids (ages 2 to 18) why. They said they tasted bad, dry, and they didn't like them. This was the second time buying there, time before more than 8 months. I've learned my lesson, won't go back.

Great little shop in Southeast Vegas. Not many good traditional donut places in the area. Highly recommend Mazzoa. Very friendly staff and great tasting donuts.

Just found out about this donut shop having just moved to Las Vegas 9 months ago. I would go to Pinkbox in Henderson but discovered this gem in a weird strip shop on Blue Diamond by Decatur. There is a pricey other donut shop in the same location but this one have fresh donuts even at 8 pm. I'm giving it only three stars...for now because the Asian lady was working by herself in the back and couldn't hear me ringing the bell out front. Not a bad start. Looking forward to future visits anytime my sugar fix c

First time customer, Donuts were excellent. Very light and airy, but also bigger than most places so you get the same amount of donut. Very fresh and you can tell they use higher quality Ingredients. Bavarian cream was amazing, but apple filled was my favorite.

Donuts here are so DELICIOUS! The staff is also very nice and friendly. The moment you step inside, you can smell the donut-fragrant scent. Makes your mouth water. I recommend EVERY donut. Don't forget to grab some donut holes, because they're so soft and delicious.

Donuts work good. And the lady behind the counter was super sweet and gave us an extra donut because my kid was cute according to her. Will stop here when in town because the donuts were tasty and fresh.

Me and my family drove all the way to buy some donuts before 7 on 10/24 and their Hour's were open until 9:30, but they were already closed by 7. Not even a sign saying that they were gonna close early.. Also, One of the worker's was there just hanging out doing idk what on his phone with all the light's off. Not sure if the owner is aware that they are closing before their official closing Hour's. But we are definitely NOT coming back here ever again.

I love Mazzoa Donuts! I realized I didn?t care much for cake donuts, so this place is where I go for my yeasty donut cravings! Then one day I discovered their ham + cheese croissants? that was it I was hooked! Flakey, warm , cheesy it?s one of the best I?ve had since moving to LV! Staff was always friendly to me too so that?s why I share my 5 ??! ??

We go every week, best donuts in town. I usually get two half dozens. I take on box to the in-laws. Today I was told they charge .50 more for half a dozen because it's an extra box. I googled the price of that same box they use and the cost is @ .014 per box. I have seen other reviews and how they nickel and dime in different things. I am so dissapointed. But will be back next week!- The donuts are that good!

Really good donuts!!! Disappointed they closed their store in Summerlin but glad to know the bakery on Blue Diamond is still in business. Their donuts taste almost like the Helms donuts from back in the ?60!!!!! ????

I went in early in the morning to get a dozen FRESH donuts and paid $23.00 for stale donuts. Glazed donut was like a cake donut. So before you leave, you might want to check the freshness of their donuts. Very upset as I was hoping they would be the "to go" place for donuts.

I have always loved Mazzoa Donuts but not tonight. Picked up a dozen, got home and they are all stale, hard as a hockey puck. No way these were made fresh today, actually I doubt they were fresh yesterday. I paid for garbage. So disappointed.

If you're looking for a donut shop not filled with a bunch of crazy experimental donuts but with fresh standard donuts with fresh quality ingredients always at the ready this is a great choice. Don't let this sound like there isn't a variety. There very much is. Bonus is the donuts are still soft even after a day out on the counter. Recommended.

Donuts are tasty but owners and staff are rude. Attempted to order a large amount of donuts for our wedding from them because we enjoy the donuts and wanted to support a smaller shop. Called was promised that my info would get passed onto the manager/owner. Waited 3 days and called back. Nothing. Waited another 2 days. Still no call. Finally i asked for their number so i could just call them. Called and left a clear voicemail with all of my info and I STILL never received a call back. How rude. Clearly they

Owned by the folks behind Dee?s Donuts, a place visited twice prior with unimpressive outcomes, Thursday saw Mazzoa Donuts fall flat thanks to their Yeast base clearly from a mix beneath cloying Frosting. Once again complimentary of service, the woman behind the counter genuinely pleasant, Mazzoa?s low prices are befitting each item?s quality whether in the case of overly sweet Maple or marbled purple Frosting that tastes identical to white that receives help from toppings such as Chocolate Chips or Red Ve

Had a good selection, was clean, fast and friendly. We bought a dozen donuts (6 kinds, 2 of each) for about $16. We don't typically buy donuts so I don't know if that's a good price or not. Each of the donuts were very good quality. There wasn't one that we didn't like. Between three of us we ate them all in 2 days. They have plexiglass set up all around the counter so that there's no close encounters with anybody. You make your payment through one cut-out in the plexiglass and pick up your box of donuts in

Once upon a time a great donut shop, post pandemic, not so much. They?ve recently decided not to make any cake style donuts on a daily basis. Or at all. This was 6:15am with everything fully stocked. The cashier struggled speaking English and she was unable to communicate which it is. I hope they continue to make cake donuts as this was the only reason my family went to this location.

OMG these donuts are so good!! Go early to get them fresh. Very nice staff. Gave us donut holes as a bonus! Delicious real donuts. Not like those chains cranking them out with no heart.

The Donuts are good dependent on who's working the counter. The older ladies treat people awful and always select the worst of the donuts if they don't like you. It really is sad how they treat people. The younger girls have been lovely and those donuts are light and fresh. Unfortunately we've had the older crew more than the younger crew. I really hope another donut shop opens around here because I'm over it. (Btw I 've been going over a year) Today I had it. My friend was so excited to get donuts, and it

Rushes black ppl out greets other races more gracefully. Attitudes every time ( short Asian lady ) charged me for putting the wrong thing in my bag. Also miss priced the cost of doughnut and didn?t honor the lie just continued to charge me the actual amount that she conveniently forgot when I asked for clarity on pricing. Annoying It gives racial profiling every single time!!!! STOP TAKING BLACK PPL MONEY IF YOURE RACIST!!!!! Period i will take this even further. ( legally, BBB, etc. bc I have to be clear
