My family traveled 10.5 hours to go to Maynard's Donuts! We were so excited! Donuts ?? were good and the service was excellent! We enjoyed our time there and we had to get Tee Shirts since our last name is also Maynard! Thanks to everything. The Maynard's!

If you are looking for something to satisfy an epic sweet tooth craving, THIS is the place! However, if you are looking for the kind of old fashioned donut that could serve as a quick breakfast replacement, these are NOT that. These sugar bombs are good, but there is nothing food-like about them. Nice friendly service, cute atmosphere. P.S. Pricey for a donut.

Beautiful donuts ??. We couldn't decide between 1, so we just got a dozen instead. Cinnamon twist, glazed cake, blueberry glazed cake, cream filled, chocolate rounds, apple, and blueberry fritters , maple bacon, maple pecan, and French toast. All were good. I didn't care for the bacon. It had an off flavor. Coffee wasn't great. I am a coffee snob and restaurant, and the coffee is usually not good. Service was great and very cute decor. We drove 20+ miles for good donuts.

I?ve only had the cinnamon twist but WOW, it?s delicious! They were out of the cinnamon rolls otherwise I would?ve gotten that too. I walked in cause I hadn?t seen this store before, but to be fair, I don?t live near the area. This place has a very cute vibe and I can definitely see students or young adults gather here. I got to meet Richard today, and he was so polite and patient with me when I was asking all the questions about the flavors of the donuts and recommendations cause I don?t like anything too

I am SO glad I begged my boyfriend to stop at the shop with the big donut! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We got the pizza roll and four filled donuts. The pizza roll is amazing, if you want something savory for sure order it. The donuts were fluffy, fresh, but not overly sweet. They were so fresh and they had so much filling! I will for sure come back when I visit :)

First time visiting and it did not disappoint! We went later in the morning (9:30ish) and felt there were still so many options to chose from! We did get a variety of flavors to try. They were all delicious. I loved the fact that they also serviced energy drinks and iced coffees. The donut breakfast sandwiches are such a good idea. A doughnut shop with the kindest owners!?? My first time having Maynard?s was for a team event we had at work back in April! Atmosphere: They have two locations on Nine Mile! I really enjoy going into the one with the large donut on the outside! The space is colorful and cozy with an assortment of merch in the area where people order. I was absolutely blown away by their unique and delicious menu offerings. The maple bacon donut was a standout for me - the perfect combination of sweet and savory and they use fresh real bacon. To top it off, their strawberry smoothie was super yummy and refreshing. Maynard's Donuts is without a doubt the best donut spot I've found in Pensacola and its surrounding areas!

I enjoyed the large selection of flavors to pick from and decided on a 6pk of filled doughnuts. They were not only DELICIOUS and fresh, but were also large in size and included a generous amount of filling and toppings. The shop was nice and clean, and both the worker and owner were friendly and happy to assist. Overall, I had a great experience and will most certainly return!

Passing through town on vacation. Found it on Google maps. Such a great donut shop. So much to choose from their great selection. The owner was very nice and friendly. We ended up getting a giant cinnamon roll, a half dozen donuts some donut holes and some drinks. Everything we bought was great, fresh and tasty. If we are ever back this way we will be back.

Go see Chris and Hilda at Maynard's Donut Shop! Drop whatever you are doing and go get a PB&J donut! The PB&J filled donut takes you back to a time when you played outside all day and drank from the hose. It's delicious, nostalgic and comforting. I tried the Salted Caramel, the donut was cooked perfectly, no burned dough. The salt was perfect just enough to counter the sweet. Every year for about the last 5 years I have finally found a bakery that made a good King Cake that tasted like it was made from home. This year I bought one with the intentions of the same satisfaction and was left highly disappointed ?? I ordered a classic cream cheese filled cake from Maynard's and got what tasted like very dry cream less filled dough. I wasn't expecting it to be so tasteless as well. Needless to say I think the old owners may have taken their famous recipe with them??

We tried many of the donuts here. I will definitely return for the huge cinnamon roll which cost over $4 each but well worth it. My other favorite was the salted caramel donut and the blueberry cake. I'm normally partial to raspberry filled, however, this one ( pictured) didn't do it for me. The "dough" part was more like a bread and the filling reminded me of the glaze you can buy in grocery stores in clear packets to make strawberry shortcake. ( sugar and food coloring). Updated due to last two visits please read full review: Best doughnuts I have had! They were fresh and were unique. They have so many types I cannot list them all. The Hawaiian coffee is also unique and I enjoyed it. I would say that outside of a certain chain coffee company, it is the best coffee in Pensacola. When I saw how much it was for a half dozen basic donuts $13.50 ($2.25 ea), that you don't get to choose them yourself. I decided not to buy anything. Businesses are just going overboard on overcharging for everything. First it's covid excuse, then it's lack of help excuse, then it's eggs excuse, then tariff excuse. Donuts are SWEET, so sweet. Very cute spot with novelty donuts as well as some of the classics, like blueberry! They had husky cinnamon rolls that my kids said tasted really good. It?s small inside, but we were literally the only people to dine in so space was no issue. Cashier was friendly and quick. Everything was clean and i think the prices are comparable to say Krispy Kreme.

Good food and good service! I ordered some king cakes for the Mardi Gras holiday and Maynard's went above and beyond to make sure I got my cakes in time for my events. Everyone loved the king cakes and commented how good they looked and how good they tasted. Great products and great customer service! I definitely recommend a trip to visit Maynard's!

My husband is obsessed with their original glazed donuts. They always throw in a few extra donut holes when you order a dozen. I think they?re cheaper than most donut shops in the area also. Highly recommend!

A quaint little donut shop conveniently located on nine mile road. The plain donuts are addicting. The shop is clean and brand new. The workers are happy and nice as it appears locally owned even though it's a chain. The prices are higher than other larger corporate chains in the area but it's worth it to buy local.

We went to maynards while in town visiting family and it was soooo good. We will return, for sure. Thank you for the great donuts and the experience. Their customer service was wonderful. Our 3 yo took her time deciding on a donut and they were so patient with her. They even threw in a few donut holes.

The vibe here is way better than Lickin? Good Donuts. We went to Lickin Good only to be greeted by a dull atmosphere, no one up front, and almost bare shelves. We drove the extra time to Maynard?s right after that. Beautiful, fun, vibrant, and friendly. The donuts are amazing too!!

I was very surprised. After having been to various other places even all the way down to Santa Rosa Beach I have been unable to find a good donut shop. Well, today that changed. March 1st I could hardly wait to pu my king cake it was ready I picked it up this morning ordered it yesterday.. It was so dry I am so disappointed I can't believe it..... My kid was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately the quality of doughnuts wasn?t even worth finishing for a 3 year old. The doughnuts felt and tasted DAYS OLD. The icing was so stale and hard. Crazy for a doughnut shop. Circle k had better quality doughnuts.

Everthing was amazing they gave us stickers that are really cute they are very patient even though they're short-staffed. This that I reccomend that I like are the donut holes,smoothies,and they're donuts of course!

These were delicious perfection! I never travel outside of the box, but I had to find someone quick to do custom donuts and Krispy Kreme was not the one lol I called them at 6:30 am and they had my delicious, custom donuts ready ASAP for my daughters pictures. Such a cute place!! We were staying at a hotel close by and looking for something for the kids; so glad we found Maynard's. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was so fun. Was excited to try Maynards donuts for the first time. Bought 1 dozen mixed. Got home and tried to eat one. All the donuts were dry and hard, like they were stale or old. Maybe left open to air? I called and the lady I spoke with seemed less bothered. Needless to say, we will never do business there again.

I'm an Uber Eats driver. I came in this morning to pick up an order. I've never been before. There was a line so I had to wait, which is fine. I understand that not every place can be staffed to handle mobile order pickups separately. They were very apologetic when they did get to, which was not necessary but appreciated all the same. Last week, on the way to church, we got dunkin donuts, because they were close to church and we were clueless. Our friend at church said "Why would you go to dunkin, when the best donuts in the world are right around the corner?!" I am sorry to say, we tried them this week. First visit to Maynard's and honestly? Why was I EVER going to the big name donut shop? The donuts are enormous, the filling was delightful and the service top notch. A Dozen of mixed doughnuts was over $22.00, and they were good but not $22.00 good. Some were just too much dough (key lime), others just over the top sweet. I liked the sour cream cake doughnut a lot! Good for once in a while treat!! ??

I normally do not like to leave reviews. As my time is very important to me. But I have to say their pizza roll is the best pizza roll I have ever had and their service is top notch and genuine. I almost didn't even want to tell anybody how good the pizza roll is because I don't want it to be sold out.

Just left after meeting the owner, Sean. As a local business operator I truly appreciate their hospitality. And when my son tried the Salted Carmel donut he immediately said "this is the best donut I've ever had!". Great place!

Absolutely delicious coffee & donuts! They don't just have a great variety of donut flavors, but regular and sugar free coffee flavorings as well. Tried these donuts for the first time yesterday. Got a couple of Boston Cream Donuts, and a Raspberry Filled one. The Boston Cream one was tasty, but too thick and doughy. I could only eat half and threw away the other half. I haven't tried the, Raspberry Filled one yet, but it's as thick as the Boston Cream, so it's probably going to be the same way. I think if they made them normal donut size, they'd be awesome.

The people are so nice and OMGGGG the best Oreo donut ever I also had a cinnamon twist which was still amazing. Also, my total order was only 8 dollars for a large coffee and two donuts which are amazing for the best donuts and coffee of my life I would still pay for this if I had to pay 50 dollars. Update: I have to change my review from 5 to 3. Lately I have been getting their Bavarian donut and it has been hard. The last time I got it, I thought maybe it was just left out or something but this time I'm not sure if it's a difference in recipe that it happened 3 times. I would not get their Bavarian anymore. The owners are AMAZING ! They really care and go above and beyond. I sent my boyfriend donuts and I live in Texas. The donuts were beautiful and they even made a personal note for him. He also said he donuts were delicious ! I will defiantly make sure that we are regulars.
