Best Prices and Best food! The prices are unbelievable for the quality of the food! This cheese Danish was $1.50 where as its like 4 or 5 at Starbucks! Big kolaches are 2.19 compares to other places where they are 2.99! They have lots of options
I went here all through out high school, and now in college, I have loved this place for years. The staff is so friendly and helpful- the prices are so good that I think they should be charging more lol.
this bakery made three sandwiches, incorrect on the Wong bread and the wrong chips. I called to make it right the woman could not understand English she would not make it right then now the Chinese guy would not make it right basically they?re very rude obnoxious their donuts, taste like old steel bread, and their cookies are old and still. basically, there was a hair and the chicken salad sandwich they do not wear netting on their hair and why would you have someone that cannot understand a word you?re tal
Visited here about 3 in the afternoon and they still had a very good selection! Everything tasted great even though the food had been out for a while since we came so late in the day. Bought some donuts, cookies, muffins, and kolaches. Everything delicious! The woman working was very kind; service was great! Will come here again for sweets and kolaches!
The place is conveniently located near the downtown main street and University area of Huntsville. The establishment is old so as coming inside the store. The staffs are nice and friendly and attentive which is good! They sell donuts, cookies, cupcakes, cakes bread and breakfast sandwiches.. I tried their cupcakes and fell in love with the soft moist texture and not too sweet flavor. When I came to this store with my friend it was close to lunchtime that's why there's not that much of items display
Got cream cheese roll.it was not to fresh . Was not good .apple turnovers very little apple in the pastry. Not going back.

Love this place! Everything I have gotten has been good! Donuts, kolaches, pies, and cookies. My favorite is their chicken salad combo. You get a generous amount of chicken salad on your choice of white or wheat, a pickel, chips, a cookie, and a drink. It's worth trying!
The person working there didn't seem very happy to be there and wasn't super helpful. But the donuts were tasty.

Ordered an Italian Creme Cheese cake and everyone loved it! Also purchased a Lemon Meringue pie and will never again. The pie had no lemon taste, and the filling had the consistency of pudding; the meringue was over baked, tough and uncuttable. Would have rated the cake five stars but took off two because of that awful pie.

This is absolute favorite bakery in Huntsville. They have been in business for years & the owners are very involved in the community. Their variety is awesome & the Italian Cream Cake is so delicious! Also, they the chicken salad. The meal is a great deal so it makes a great fast lunch option. They do social order cakes too! Everything you need in bakery.
I walked in and spent less than 20 bucks to feed 5 grown men and a teenager. Cost is great, food is good. I can tell the people behind the counter don't want to be there, but if we're honest, most people wouldn't want to be up at 5 am anyway.
The guy who runs this place also runs Donut Wheel and a couple of years back I bought a ham and cheese sandwich there and it was bad. I told him about it and he told me that they didn't sell ruined stuff. Then my husband went by Mayflower a couple of weeks ago and he bought me a Bavarian cream stuffed donut, it was old, it crumbled when I bit into it and when I told him about it the other day he said no they did not sell old stuff so he pretty much called me a liar so I will not be buying anything else from
Only go here for donuts and baked goods. Not only is thier selection great, but the taste is fantastic as well. My tip, don't leave the premises without at least one Strawberry Cream Cheese Danish.
Thay offer a good variety of good donuts. Pretty good kolaches too! They also offer several types of pies and cakes. I don't care for their chocolate pie filling but have heard the Italian cream cake is the best. They bake to order which is nice. They offer a lunch menu. The chicken salad is really good.

My mother wanted to go to the fair on the square. We had a very hard time finding parking and came into the mayflower parking lot. There was one spot open that was handicap and my mom is handicap. Instiod just taking the spot I went in to ask if it was ok for us to use the parking and the lady behind the counter said no. I explained to her that I had a handicap person with me who couldn't do a lot of walking and she said that spot was designated for customers. Considering no one was inside the donut shop a

The staff was not friendly. They seemed to be in a bad mood. I went in at 6am figuring I would get fresh Kolaches. She literally took the dozen kolaches from the fridge, put them in a box and microwaved the box. Obviously they ended up dry and disgusting. I also got glazed donuts which were just okay. If you are thinking about going to Mayflower, just go to Donut Wheel across the street, or Fancy Donuts a little farther down Sam Ave. Both of those places seem to actually care about quality.

Their kalaches are the best!!! They have a boudin kalache as well. We have recently discovered they also sell breakfast tacos.

Huntsville born and raised, I've patronized Mayflower Bakery since the 80's. Moved away from Huntsville, but every time I visit Huntsville I go there and also my daughter who is 16, loves to go there when she visits my mom. Best kolaches and cream cheese danishes!
Although the Mayflower has a great selection of donuts even donuts that aren't glazed which are my favorite I am sad to say the last few times I went into their business dispute the great customer service the facility was infested by several to many small gnat like flies and at first I thought it was just because they cleaning from outside so I didn't pay much attention but then I went back for a second serving near the end of the day and realized those gnats were beyond abundant and actually INSIDE the gl

This has always been my favorite cake. I haven't had it in probably a year and today I had a friend pick me up a slice. I swear it was at least 3 days old. It was dense and hard as a rock. Very disappointed.
I have been going to Mayflower Bakery since i was a little boy and i still love their Kolaches more then anywhere else in town. The only bakery in town where you can get an old fashion doughnut. Love this place.

The best place I have found in Huntsville for donuts, fritters, and muffins. They have a giant cheese danish that is to die for. Almost a meal in itself.
