You better get here early! Both times line out the door and drive thru packed. But, let me tell you why. Fresh fresh fresh and delicious ??
The hot donuts are to die for! And the spicy boudin kolaches are awesome too. Everything is delicious and fresh.

Place could use a refresh, it's an older building. Lots to choose from. I love apple fritters however their fritters were very skimpy on the apple, dough was dense not very crispy! Will however give them another try.

Grew up in Brenham and moved away when I was 18. My mom would take us to Max Donuts whenever we passed tests in school. Every time we visit I look forward to stopping by Max Donuts and I always recommend people go there that are visiting! Best donuts I?ve ever had!
It's an old donut shop, nothing spectacular. They have a huge selection, though. I got a bacon, egg potato and cheese taco. It was okay. Little on the bland side. People were very nice.
A true gem, fabulous donuts and breakfast sandwiches. The staff are great, I the owners are wonderful, very efficient and friendly, they have walk in and drive through service. The coffee is great and the jelly filled donuts are my favourite.

Excellent donuts. Crumb is very airy and light, always fresh and crisply glazed. Breakfast croissants are also recommended. Prices are great, plus the staff is always fast and courteous. Very clean facility. Parking lot can be busy but it's manageable. This is our go-to place for donuts!
Max is my go to for potato, egg and cheese breakfast burritos ?? . Glazed donut holes are another personal favorite. Simple food made on site. A Brenham tradition for sure!

This little donut shop was a bustling little joint which is usually a good indication of a good business. We were not disappointed! Very friendly accommodating service/staff and the selection was fantastic! Loved the donuts and option to drink your coffee out of a cafe mug while sitting comfortably. Plenty of seating and clean, open atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back to this donut shop with a cafe twist!
They have a huge menu to choose from, and we love the sausage and cheese kolaches.

Alma is the greatest! She does a great job and she knows how to treat customers. She's beautiful too! The food is great too, the sandwiches and the donuts are yummy and the coffee is top notch as well
The reason for that rating is that I came in to buy some walnut cinnamon rolls and I was disappointed in how small they are and how dry the dough is. I still like their pastries, but I remember when that item was of better quality. The day I bought this item, four cinnamon rolls fit into the box, but back when they first opened, only two could fit and they were not stingy with the walnuts or icing and that cinnamon flavor was throughout the dough, no day old tasting donuts. The pastry was okay. The true nature of the establishment lies in its ability to bring people together to discuss politics, religion, and whether the brother-in-law had too much to drink at the disclosure party, all over a warm cup of coffee. The fellowship was wonderful.
Vienna weiner like pigs. Why don't they use real kountry boys or Chappell hill sausage instead of the deplorable little pinky size weenies? The donut holes were large and great tasting but please improve those sickly pig in a blanket

Great selection and everything they have is always tasty and reasonably priced. Basically every donut imaginable! Always busy in the mornings but my favorite shop in town.
Always amazing service when I come in. Today I came in and there was a line, I was in and out with my dozen kolaches (still warm) and dozen donuts within 5 minutes. It's still just as good as the first time. Keep it up!

Donuts are good. I do not advise on the apple fritters. The fritters are too fluffy and do not have enough apple, or vanilla.
