Master Donuts ?? *New Ownership.. Sadly, no more Almond poppyseed muffins and specially donuts are $5.50 ?? I visited this donut shop after the donut shop I wanted to go to was too busy It was mid morning and the selection was slim so I tried a Apple Fritter ?? ?? It tasted fresh and delicious like most Apple fritters I paid $2.75 which seemed high but lately is the normal The store is an older store and needs a little updating to give it more curb appeal but seems to be clean.

Donuts are good and prices are good. People are friendly. There is a small seating area that isn't bad. Clean but a little cramped. The freshly made espresso drinks are good and better priced than the big chain coffee places. The pre-made coffee can be a little cold depending on what time you get it. Leads me to think it isn't too fresh if you come after breakfast time. Good place to stop by if you need a quick snack and coffee and in the area. Update: I have been coming here more often recently. First time in. Very welcoming. Family loved the donuts. Variety of colors and flavors.

This has been my go-to place for apple fritters for several years. But it recently changed hands. After my last visit I don?t know if I will go back. The Apple fritter was way over cooked and had little Apple taste but it did taste of overused oil or overcooked pastry. Not a fan.

This place is under new ownership. The prices have increased and the vibe is not the same. The smile, the greeting, the conversations... Left with the original owner- she'll most definitely be missed!

Went to get some donuts and they were closed. There was a sign on the door from the county's health inspection and turns out they are closed due a INSECT/RODENT INFESTATION. I wonder how many bugs i've eaten since i go there pretty often.

Finally stopped by after the new owners took over. I get the Apple fritter for the hubs and it was not as big as it used to be and not as Apple flavor as before . My favorite is the muffins . The muffins are not the same like before . They used to have a bigger top that was crusty and so good . The flavor www good but the top used to be my best part of the muffin .

Such good donuts! I wish they were open later in the day. I'm not really a breakfast person so I'm always craving a donut after lunch or dinner

Love the cream puff I tried 1 time. I've gone back and called for them bout 3 times unfortunately they always run out. Only place I could find them. I don't know if I'll return since I just keep getting disappointed.

The donuts aren't what they used to be unfortunately now that dee is gone. They are smaller and they seem to have increased in price. Also not sure why but the apple fritters don't seem to have much flavor anymore.

This WAS my favorite donut shop for over 10 years. Mama knew how to make a light, beautiful donut. New owners have destroyed that, making greasy undercooked glop!! YUCK!!

A little disappointed that we went in around 4:45am and the donuts were nowhere near fresh or hot. I could tell they made them the night before.

I Love this place. Not only does she have items that with my allergies I can still have but they are always fresh and tasty. She is always so awesome and kind. I see her interact with the customers and you can tell she really likes people and that just raises the atmosphere. I always feel cheerier when I stop here.

Fun little donut shop. Not the best in town, but has some good coffee and good variety of drinks. Good buttermilk bars

The BEST donuts and such a sweet family who owns this store. Our go-to place! So fresh and if you go early they are still warm. I tried to get a photo of all of them, but I was mobbed when I walked in the door.

Best donut shop I have ever been to for several reasons. First, old fashioned donuts are my favorite, and their old fashioned are second to no one. Second, their donuts are always fresh. I?ve been here several times, at different times in the day, and they are always fresh. I can?t say the same about some other local shops. Lastly, their customer service is incredible. They are friendly, helpful, and welcoming; a rarity among donut shops, from my experience. You will not be disappointed with Master Donuts.

Popped in to try a donut 20 minutes before they closed! They still had a good selection left and everything was so fresh. The staff was kind and efficient. Happy to say these are the best donuts I?ve ever had!

Disgusting. They were shut down by the health department for multiple violations. 5 dead mice still in the traps plus multiple health code violations.

This is one of those hole in the wall establishments that?s surprisingly good. The coffee is good and the Donuts are amazing, some of the best donuts I?ve ever had. You see the same friendly staff daily and are always have a welcoming vibe. 10/10 on taste, quality, and customer service.

Oh, no. What a great place! Not the place to go if you are on a diet. When you walk in the door you see that every shelf is filled with big beautiful delicious donuts. Maple bars chocolate bars, cream filled donuts, apple fritters everything you could possibly want. And they're huge donuts. And when I say huge I mean enormous and so good. I've gone in there twice thinking I would get half a dozen and I ended up buying 18 donuts. Sometimes you just can't help yourself.

Weird service. I seemed like a nuisance to the woman working. I was surprised to wait for about a minute while she had her back turned writing things down turning around looked at me without acknowledging walk to the back just bizarre. Always hard working couple making some good donuts. They offer all the classics with very few specialties at fair prices. I've never had a bad donut from there and their creme puffs are awesome. They recently have a major chain open right in front of them so they're struggling but well worth the extra 20 feet. Support local business everybody and try them

We have been going to this donut shop since we moved here for 30+ years. That statement should speak for itself. The best donuts around hands down!! Our kids are grown and gone and we are now taking our grandchildren there. The quality, taste, price and service get my 5 star rating.

I was at an event nearby and thought doughnuts sounded good. My husband and I walked over, picked out a dozen, and the woman who rang us up threw in a complimentary doughnut. So nice! I enjoyed the blueberry (tasted like a blueberry muffin in doughnut form!) and the maple old fashioned (delicate maple flavor & thick/delicious doughnut). If we're ever in the area again, I'll definitely swing by to grab another dozen!

Best donuts in the area! Family owned and operated for decades. Not sure how long, but I've been coming here for 30+ years. Remember when Dee the owner was pregnant with her two girls, who grew up working the counter next to mom. Kids grow up and move on, but mom's still at it. Always a treat coming here.

UPDATE. Took several dozens donuts to a church reception. I requested that they NOT cut up the donuts! (Don?t you hate that?!) We were astounded by the compliments on the donuts. Many said these were the best donuts they ever had! I like them, but it was really gratifying to hear such a positive response from our guests. Grandson loves their cake donuts. Nice touch at Christmas with the sprinkles shaped like trees! I like the curbside service! Called my order in and they delivered it to me when i arrived.

My husband and I went here with our 2 year old yesterday. The lady working was so kind to us and our son she even gave him an extra donut. If you want to go somewhere with amazing donuts and friendly people who work there this is the spot.

When you decide you deserve a donut you shouldn't spend your calories on some cheap grocery store fried dough or fake factory product. Come here and get something real. Apple fritters and old fashioned are my favorite.

Asked nicely, if i could sit at the seatings outside yesterday & the slow big lady, didn't understand what i was saying before saying no. Smh, i just wanted to find a seat to sit at & eat my snacks, since the laundromat doesn't have a seating outside..while i wait for my laundry to finish & it's nice & hot outside. Only went here one other time before & the donuts are average or meh at best, obviously. But that's typical.

Best donut shop in the country! Just normal donuts and coffee/milk, no crazy flavors or prices. The same family has owned this for as long as I can remember, seems like 20 years? They work hard and are so kind. I moved away but always stop when I?m nearby, sadly no other donuts compare.

Love this place! Their donuts are the best. The only issue I have with this place is that we always go on Sunday mornings and there's always a great many people picking up donuts for groups of say 10 or 111 dozen which makes it hard when you're behind them because there is little left to choose from. People who are picking up for large groups should call ahead and let Master Donuts know in advance so that everyone's needs can be accommodated.

Where can you buy donuts at 9am on a Saturday and find they are still coming out of the kitchen, hot, sweet and melt in your mouth, to-die-for delicious?!?! Master Donuts is small, quaint, and offers surprisingly good espresso drinks. Owners treat each customer like they are their best customer. <3 I love how each cheery goodbye from them is followed with "See you tomorrow!!"

BEST.period.DONUTS.period.ANYWHERE.period! Any time I am in northern California I always make at least one stop here. The food is great and the people are always so nice and friendly. They have also extended their shop a bit to add a couple more tables to sit at. I just bought their shirt so I can let the world know that they are missing out on awesomeness.

Drive from South Sacramento to here .you pay what it cost because texture and very fluffy donuts are heavenly :)..try so many donuts in Sacramento but nothing like this!! Not so sweet not over bake .. JUST RIGHT!! MUST SAY THE CROSANTS HAM AND CHEESE ARE A MUST!!! Huge sandwich

Worse place ever these reviews lied this place is a rip off!! We?re in the middle of a pandemic and in order to use a card which is the preferred method of payment you have to buy $6.00 worth of items! Here I am with 3 donuts and a cinnamon roll that I didn?t want because I wasn?t carrying cash. On top of that, the donuts and cinnamon roll had 2 hairs in the bag!! Never coming here again! Fantastic donuts. This small shop had a decent ambience with the little old ladies carrying on with their morning gossip and the flat screen crammed above the beverage fridge showing Bob Barker's famed game show. And the old fashioned was delicious. If only she had some help to get through the line.

Stood in line for 10 minutes to get my daughter 2 donuts and a juice box. I happened to have $3 cash on me and went to pay, but it had totaled to the amount of $4.15 i got out my debit card, but they don?t except any card payments unless its over a certain amount. They are always cheerful and friendly at master donuts. They are also the only place I know of that makes my favorite donut. .. lemon filled covered in powdered sugar. They are also one of the few that have the pink icing my daughters love so much.

Walking was greeted immediately. The prices are awesome. The shop was very neat very clean and made me want to come back again. Employee I dealt with was very nice and very helpful in my special request, couldn't have asked for better service from such a great local donut spot.

I bought 3 dozen donuts for my son's class, 2 dozen donut holes and a chocolate milk for a grand total of over $45. I asked if he sold bakers dozens and he begrudgingly stuck in one of those cake-based donuts (I'm going to try to add an example picture) into each of the 3 boxes. Now I know beggars can't be choosers- but each dozen I paid for already had 4 of those in it- except those at least had nuts and coconut shaving on them... Even though I went in after noon the donuts looked fresh and tasted the same I really like their chocolate flavor. I took a couple home and even the next day they tasted fresh and the chocolate was still soft

These are donuts. They taste different from one another: a cinnamon roll tastes like a cinnamon roll and maple tastes like maple. Customer service is great and you can't forget, "See you tomorrow!"

I Love there donuts but I cant stand the service the lady at the counter couldn't be any more outta pocket! I really would slap her but I just get my donuts and go...no tip that's unfortunate. If there was Better service this place would be a 5 star

So this isn't the closest place to our house but when hubby wants to sleep in an sundays I get the kids up and take them here. The staff is always welcome and inviting and deal with my indecisive son really well. Their apple fritters cannot be beat !!!!

I came here on a Saturday around 3 and they were out of doughnuts. They did have a fresh batch of muffins though. I had the banana walnut, best muffin I've ever had.

Just bought a dozen donuts,2 starbucks drinks, and a bottle of coke. Drank 1 starbucks drink, tasted funny, checked expiration date. Expired in December. Checked other one, expired, checked coke bottle, EXPIRED. I didn't know coke could expire. Haven't tried the donuts yet, real nervous

$9 for 3 donuts . I was blow away. Obviously taking advantage of the people that supported them for the last 8 years, that I know of . What a shame . Will never go here again !!!
